The 24 Best Restaurants In Lyon 2024

"This trendy 12-stall food hall is set inside one of Lyon’s traboules, which are labyrinthine covered passageways connecting the old parts of the city. The line to get in winds down the street on evenings and weekends, but it’s worth the wait for the grilled octopus on mashed split peas from the mediterranean stand, ravioles du dauphiné from the bouchon stand, or the pizza with artichoke tapenade, mint and coriander chutney, and dried duck breast from Ludo’s.  Once you’re in, head directly to the stalls to place your food order, then grab a seat at a table in any of the dining areas. Hit a water station for still and sparkling, or wait for a server to come by your table if you want something other than water. Come during weekday lunch hours from 11:45am to 2:30pm for better odds of dodging the crowds." - anna richards

I would not recommend anyone to go there for the food, we order a few different kinds of food and they all feel like freezing food. Even with french fries, the texture is really soft and humid like those when you takeaway for 30 minutes. Meanwhile the drinks are good, and the environment is not bad, but when it's crowded it's really noisy. Def not a good place to date or have quality time, but a place for friends to drink together.

Situating in an old building gives this place a unique interior. The food was in a normal standard, nothing striking in its taste and/or creativity. QR code scanned menu like in other 'modern' restaurants, so less human contact. Once we went for our last glasses before they closed, the staff made an error on our drink, that's quite upsetting.

Cool concept with many options for dining, over multiple levels and good technology to pull it all together. Table service for drinks was great but both our meals fell short. In particular I was disappointed with my chicken burger as the contents was a single chicken tender that didn’t even fill the bun. Stacey had the Korean bowl which was very basic and lacked real flavour. A bit disappointing over all unfortunately as I was expecting big things.

Came here twice during my trip, I love having multiple food spots in one place since you can get something different every time but have a reliably comfortable experience. The first time I got a really tasty brioche bun sandwich thing from the corner restaurant on the top floor, the second time I got fries from the burger stall and two dishes from one of the downstairs restaurants, one leek dish and one egg dish, and everything was fantastic. They also have a free water station which is unusual for Europe and really nice, you can just get your own water.

Amazing food court experience. Very crowded of people. Quite plenty option of food and with some diversity. Really great place for dinner or lunch. Had lunch with friend here. And i like the ordering via mobile app, really ease and comfortable. Foods were nice as well.

Very interesting place, it's like a food court with 12 different food stations. Every station has a different cuisine. You go order whatever food you desire and a waiter comes to the table to take your beverage order. Food was really good, simple, clean and cheap. Avoid going in the weekends its over crowded and long waiting oines.

Such an amazing place. You walk around to different small restaurants, each with a a handful of dishes. Each area is themed differently and beautifully decorated. FREE water which is a rarity in Europe. And did i mention that the food is delicious? Absolutely a must go place in Lyon
