Amazing food! The decorations are awesome, and the staff is super friendly. It is apparent that they are short staffed, but the team work provided here showed a healthy work place environment and awesome communication. Everything we ordered was reasonably priced and an awesome presentation. I hope to return soon!

Amazing food, amazing drinks amazing service!! This was a great brunch place. Food options were a great variety. The entire experience was amazing. Staff was very friendly and responsive. I highly recommend for a unique MKE brunch experience before it becomes hyped and overrated like all others.

This place is definitely a hidden gem!! Came here once on a whim with a group of 6, we were looking for a place to have drinks before a reservation elsewhere. The place was fully booked for Gallery Week, but due to the time of reservations, allowed us to have a table for drinks until the time of the next reservation. It was perfect and so kind!!! I decided that night I’d be back. I did come back, for dinner with a friend! The food was amazing! I had the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese with chicken. It was amazing!!!! Then finished with dessert, the bananas foster waffle for dessert; which was also phenomenal!!! Service was ok, our server was the bartender and so it took longer than you’d expect for us to order, but we were catching up so it turned out okay! A little pricey, but good does not disappoint!

Just ate here. The service was good and nice. The atmosphere was cute. The drinks were good. The waffle was good but everything else was not delicious. The biscuits and hash browns were way too salty. Like unbearably so. Gross.

What a great find. Truly elevated American cuisine in a really nice tavern. The beer list is small, but it's all good stuff. The kitchen should be proud of what they do. The Monte Cristo has a microscopically thin, crunchy outer shell that just pushes an already awesome sandwich into another realm. Every one of the small dishes had a similar attention to detail. We ate at the bar because seating was immediate there on a Saturday night, and the bartender was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Highly recommended.

A fabulous experience all around. Held a dear friend’s birthday dinner at Fool’s Errand and every interaction with them was phenomenal. They were super accommodating to changes in our reservation and special requests. The staff was nothing short of delightful and they really added to the festive and fun tone of the evening. The drinks and food were amazing. So amazing that our friends who got the Gouda sauce with their meals and are still talking about it weeks later. When we lingered over drinks, not realizing we were keeping the staff past closing, they were so polite about trying to get us to wrap up. We’d all been eager to try Fool’s Errand and could not have been more thrilled our inaugural experience was for such a special event. Fool’s Errand will be added to the very short list of top spots and we’ll all be back soon! Highly recommend.

Atmosphere & staff was great. We had the chicken liver toast...amazing. After that the meal fell short. It seems the chef likes a lot of spices, not spicey over seasoned. My husband had the ribs & they were very good. We will be back...maybe for the burger.
