Was recommended to come here and it was an absolute pleasure. The service was great. Adam at the bar was very friendly. Had the deviled eggs that were delicious with the blue cheese. The salmon salad was fresh and flavorful. The owner imports the olive oil from Greece and had great taste Will decently come back to try more

Google
We visited on a Wednesday and lucked out that it was Happy Hour all day. There are great values on the happy hour menu. I had the Wagyu Burger and Draft Beer which was $16. The burger wasn't happy hour sized; it was the same as on the regular menu. And it was delicious!

Google
What a find!!! Live music, outdoor seating AND delicious food! I had the wild caught Scottish salmon salad full of shaved fennel, yummy roasted beets, crisp arugula, some mixed greens, farro, buckwheat pearls, quinoa, and I #allergygirl subbed out the orange vinaigrette for a balsamic vinegarette.

Google
Great food, great drinks, great patio. Really enjoyed our early dinner and the service was excellent. Would definitely order the deviled eggs and short rib tacos again.

Google
Fantastic experience all around. Everyone was kind, friendly, and the food was fantastic! Will absolutely be back. John was extra courteous throughout my meal, coming by multiple times to make sure I was taken care of and happy. Great place

Google
Though the parking is not that great, the food totally makes up for it. I had both brunch and dinner there. Food might look like something other places can cook, but definitely the subtle quality and taste differences definitely puts a love to visit on the map. The service is great. The atmosphere is great. I hope they have more draft beer options but don't think this restaurant is going for breweries. Overall, a great visit.

Google
Been twice and honestly both times have been amazing. Dinner was great in their outdoor area since it was only a little warm and they have big fans to keep the air moving and the followup brunch was killer with their bacon old fashioned and the salmon avocado toast. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Google
This spot is the upscale version of Twohey's they have fantastic brunch and dinner options as well as their world famous hot fudge sundae. Service is friendly though parking is limited since they've had the outside patio area.

Yelp
I've been to The Foothill quite a few times, and it never seems to let me down. However, my recent visit for my sister's birthday brunch stood out even more. We were a party of 30 on the patio, and the experience was fabulous. Despite the large group, our main server, with the help of a few others, handled everything exceptionally well. Adding to the lively atmosphere was a DJ on the patio, playing fantastic music that kept the energy high throughout the brunch. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the ambiance was just perfect. We couldn't have asked for more. If you're looking for good food and excellent service, head to The Foothill. The only downside to this restaurant is the parking situation, which can be a bit challenging. Despite that, it's worth the effort for the overall experience.

Yelp
I recently celebrated my birthday at Foothill Restaurant, drawn by its charming location and promising menu. While the food lived up to expectations with delicious and well-prepared dishes, my overall experience was marred by an unexpected and excessive charge for cake storage. We brought our own cake for the celebration, and the restaurant charged us $25 plus an additional $16.97 just to store the cake in their fridge. What made this even more frustrating was that they did not provide any cake-cutting service. They merely stored the cake and provided plates, leaving us to handle the rest. While I understand there might be a fee for bringing in outside desserts, the amount charged felt exaggerated and unjustified, especially given the lack of additional service. This significantly impacted our overall experience and left us feeling disappointed. In summary, while the food at Foothill Restaurant is commendable, potential diners should be aware of the excessive fees for cake storage. This policy certainly detracted from what could have been a perfect celebration.

Yelp
I can't give it more than 3 stars. The parking is absolutely horrendous! You may have to circle around the block several times before you find a spot. The Buffalo wings were extremely salty (literally burned my throat). They have an endless happy hour on Wednesdays, so that was nice. The restaurant has a nice feel to it, though. It's kind of tucked away, so you can easily miss it. I would recommend it if you want to try something new, but it's not someplace I would frequent.

Yelp
My first time here, but my husband has been here and suggested that we go for dinner. It was a beautiful night to sit outside in there beautiful patio. Raul P. Was our waiter and her was so nice, smiling, attentive, efficient, polite and knowledgeable of the menu and questions I had about the menu, I had a glass Educated Guess wine and my husband had draft beer. I had fish and chips with cod absolutely delicious, crispy and fresh and house cut fries. My husband had grilled cod tacos 3 of them per entree. everything was delicious and super efficient employees excellent team work. Raul said they have live band on Thursday's and Saturday's. definitely will come back

Yelp
We came here with a group of 11 people. Although our server didn't want to do it, she agreed to allow us to order in 3 groups for 3 separate checks. My sister and I shared the $19 artichoke and the $38 short rib dinner. My mom had the shrimp penne and my 2 nieces split another shrimp penne with pesto. Our food was good but pretty pricey for us to consider returning.

Yelp
Came here with a large group of 19 and the server was a star!! We all got our food at the same time, appetizers first and drinks. Dinner for such a large group could be hectic but it went to smoothly. 10/10 for service and ambiance outdoors. Food: Must try for the apps!! The portobello fries and calamari were amazing. The star of the show was def the beef stroganoff. I will come back for this dish in a heartbeat. Usually don't like getting pasta cause it's easy to make but I'd say this is worth the price for sure!

Yelp
Happy St. Patty's day!! I came out here to pick up some breakfast. I ordered ahead, the fried chicken n' waffle and short-ribs hash which comes with an egg on top. I asked for over easy egg. This place was fully packed inside and outside, even with the wind blowing. They have boozy brunch on Sat from 9:30-2:45 and Sun from 9:00-2:45. And they have live music on Thursdays and Saturdays. That's good to know. The hostess was great about informing me on my food, that they're boxing it up and it would be few more mins. Everything was delicious as usual!! I would come back to try other foods.

Yelp
Visited the foothill for my Birthday lunch with a girlfriend who is looking at having her daughter's bridal shower there in May. I have to say I enjoyed my steak salad, and the artichoke dip we started with was really good- not too creamy heavy cheesy. I saw and tasted plenty of green. Yum! We also sampled the red beet hummus and that was a beautiful color, very pretty dish that tasted great. I think it's going on the menu in May. The bartender was helpful and friendly. The over all vibe was a good one. I took a look at the bar itself and it was definitely stocked with good quality booze so perhaps next time I'll have a cocktail. I'm excited to return as a guest in May.

Yelp
Raul was wonderful, my drink was exceptional - I had two of "In the Wild", and the atmosphere out on the covered patio was beautiful. We really enjoyed the cauliflower appetizer! Flavorful, not overcooked or drowning in sauce / it was perfect. I ordered Filet Mignon medium rare and was disappointed it came out well. Still... decent, but obviously not as delicious. The vegetables, mushrooms and mashed potatoes were good for the side. I suggest they gave butter, or seasoned butter, and pepper for the mashed potatoes though. Fluffy, but a bit bland. We shared the lava cake and asked for extra raspberries. It was as you expect, comforting and nice. To sum, I would come back for the drinks and appetizers, sit outside and talk with friends on a nice day - or date. I'm eager to try the beef stroganoff next time as it's highly rated on Yelp.

Yelp
The Foothill in Pasadena, CA offers a delightful experience with its fantastic outdoor patio. Their onion rings are truly amazing, and the wedge salad is yummy. However, I wish they would increase the portion size for both the onion rings and the wedge salad. As for dessert, while the ice cream sundae is delicious, swapping out some scoops of ice cream for chocolate cake or a fluffy brownie would enhance the experience.
google avatar

Yelp
Best decision ever! The service is amazing and the steak salad was delicious! great ambiance overall

Yelp
Service is good. It's busy inside and out. They had a DJ on Sunday outside on the patio. The vibes seemed better outside than inside. It's kind of loud inside. I'd sit outside next time. - Espresso Martini 5/5 Pretty yummy espresso martini!! - Chaos is a friend of mine 3.7/5 It's very sweet and a little sour and meh, wouldn't get again. - Short Rib Hash 3.1/5 It's basically just flavored potatoes and beef. The umami taste is strong and tastes pretty good. Wish they gave some bread or something to dip it in the juices. - Chorizo Chilaquiles 3.9/5 The taste is yummy but the tortilla is pretty soggy... it definitely tastes better than the hash. Free parking in the back, tiny lot. Street parking.

Yelp
**MENU ATTACHED as of 03/10/2024** I'd come again just for the kind service from Travis! My group went in with no wait on a Sunday morning! I'll get to the food but really the highlight was Travis being so attentive to our group, especially with a toddler! It was like magic how Travis always appeared whenever plates needed to be cleared, extra orders needed to be taken in, etc. I just haven't experienced such a friendly and attentive service in a while! Now onto the food: -MUST GET the chicken and waffles or the lox avocado salmon Both of them were delicious! Other people in my group also enjoyed their meals but I didn't try it for myself. Parking: -there's a lot in the back! -also street parking if you're lucky Overall, my bf and I will be coming back for this lovely brunch spot!

Yelp
I enjoyed spending my birthday here couple weeks ago. Great drinks and great food. I made reservations in advance and it was easy and convenient and our table was ready upon arrival. We sat in the patio area and enjoyed brunch on the beautiful day. Took one star off however because there was a mistake on our bill my bf was charged for the wrong whiskey (almost $150 more!) but we got that corrected. Just note: for larger parties gratuity will be included. There is a cake cutting fee if you choose to bring one.

Yelp
I like the foothill. Pleasant environment, tables are close but not so close I can hear the convo of the person next to me. I have been several times but am writing this review with 5 stars specifically for the service from Raul! Shout out to him. He is a great server. He was patient when we ordered, gave us tips about specials for the day, came by the table several times to fill our glasses using the mimosa carafe that was on the table. He noticed there was a chip on the glass he had given us before we did and politely exchanged it for a new one. I appreciated his attention to detail and safety. Food is always decent.

Yelp
I went with a friend to dinner last night and had the surf and turf special. Everything was awesome and our server, Connie, took good care of us is a terrific server! She really seemed to know the menu as well as the specials and answered all of our questions. My friend had the beef stroganoff, which was also very good. And if you like a good craft cocktail, this place is the best. I had the old-fashioned and he had the tropical crossings. These are two of their signature drinks, and they were outstanding! If you haven't tried this place, what are you waiting for? I've been here before and had breakfast, which was equally as delicious.

Yelp
Foothill was a wonderful experience. I met up with friends there and we enjoyed the food, ambiance, and the ability to sit and fellowship one with another. Our server was great too!

Yelp
We came here around 2pm on a Saturday with reservations thinking it would be really busy. Surprisingly it was relatively empty and peaceful with only a couple other parties there. Since the weather was nice we chose to sit outside in their spacious patio area. We made it in time for their "Boozy Brunch" but unfortunately they do not offer bottomless mimosas here. The closest would be mimosas be the carafe. We ordered drinks separately from our server Abby who then told us the daily specials that weren't a part of the menu. We opted for the daily special breakfast sandwich, the daily special omelette, and the chilaquiles. The food was really good and the drinks refreshing. This is a great place to go for a nice outdoor ambiance and brunch on a sunny day.

Yelp
Getting there: My maps app lead me there pretty fine, however I wasn't sure if the McDonald's parking lot is the same lot for restaurant parking so I got lucky and found street parking right in front of the entrance. Experience: I recently had the pleasure of dining this cute little gem, and it was an absolute delight! This charming little restaurant is tucked away on a main street in Pasadena, making it the perfect hidden treasure. The ambiance is incredibly inviting, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. I decided to go for the grilled cheese and tomato soup, and it was a match made in heaven. To top it off, I ordered their lavender cocktail, which tasted a lot better than I had imagined it. A man, who I assumed to be the owner, was attentive and friendly; he came by and checked on us periodically along with making conversation. This made us feel right at home.

Yelp
While we had a reservation for this place after a hike I was a part of earlier in the day, it was a relatively relaxing experience overall for brunch times on the weekends. Ordered the short rib hash, and even though Im a big eater, the price is about right for what you get. My issue was that it might have been a bit over salted but after a hike, I don't mind as much. Would say the tapatio/Tabasco is not needed but an option too I would say the restaurant location itself is deceptive on where it's located to Google maps. There is parking in the back, but you'd have to go through the alley to reach it.

Yelp
- Food: really good and tasty. My favorite was the Shrimp Ceviche. BIG NEGATIVE: food took FOREVER to come out. I noticed 3-4 other tables (like us), waited like 20 minutes between ordering and getting food. It was weird because when we ordered just 1 appetizer, it was a relatively good wait time (maybe 7-10 mins). But we ordered 1 entire and 1 appetizer and it took 20. - Parking: A PAIN (I also went Saturday at dinner time). There used to be a small lot in the back of the restaurant and street parking by residential homes. If you're coming at a busier time, I would Uber, carpool, or get there 15 mins earlier. - Service: Our server was REALLY exceptional - made us feel welcomed and not a burden at all (even though with 8 people, I'm sure we were to some degree).
google avatar

Bryan L.

Yelp
Went here this past weekend and everything was fine - food and drinks. Only complaints; the men's bathroom was a mess. Paper towels overflowing out of the can and all over the floor. Felt like I was at the county fair. The other is the manager. He's some jolly guy walking around dressed inappropriately with a Hawaiian shirt on. The couple hours we were there is all he did was deliver food and spend long amounts of time talking to people at each table. When you go to a restaurant for a nice meal and drinks you don't want to be bothered by staff. He just seemed like a complete amateur.

Yelp
Right next to Mcdonald's, foothill can be easy to miss. They have a small parking lot in the back and very limited street parking. They have outdoor and indoor seating. Patio is very spacious with umbrellas, sun coverings, pretty lights, and heat lamps. Server was friendly and checked up on us frequently. Water cups were refilled multiple times. The four of us shared our food: -Brioche French Toast ($14): soft brioche coated in cinnamon topped with powdered sugar and berries. Very ordinary. 3/5 -Chicken & Waffle ($20): basic waffle with fried chicken breast that was too salty and kind of dry. 2/5 -Crap Cake Benedict ($25): egg was cooked just right to have a runny yolk. Crab meat was too fishy for me. The sourdough was too crunchy which made it hard to cut and bite. 2/5 -Omelette of the Day ($18): mushrooms with onions, peppers, and topped with cheese and sauce that tasted like thousand island. Had hash browns on the side that were too crispy, borderline burnt. Sourdough was too crunchy as well. 3/5 Portions were average overall for this price. Worth a visit if you like brunch but would not come back.
google avatar

Adriana K.

Yelp
Loved the ambiance, the vibe, and the experience. Didn't get super excited over the hashed browns (kinda too crunchy and a weird oil taste) and the very flat and dense pancake. Loved the eggs, bacon, coffee, and sourdough... although I would have liked some jelly options. Really enjoyable morning and they had nice umbrellas that they were able to open and shade us from the sun. Also loved having flamey heat lamps - looked cool and was was warm. Was told that next time I can order the country potatoes instead (which looked good in the Yelp pictures). I also heard that the French toast is good - so will come back and try that next time. Service was good!

Yelp
I was quite pleased with this place. First time here meeting some girlfriends for dinner. They've been prior for brunch so it wasn't a first for them. From the start, they have an amazing outdoor patio. Perfect for an afternoon or even a nice night out. We were inside as it was still a bit hot and needed some ac. Our waitress, quite sweet and friendly. Didn't get her name though. As well as all the other staff, all very sweet and friendly. Started off with the devils eggs, which was quite good. Flavored well for me and juts right amount of of everything. Also had a glass of rose for dinner. Also shared some onions rings, which was thick cut and fried perfectly and the steamed artichoke. Entrees, a mixture's of everything. The specials, ciopinno with pasta. Full of flavor and plentiful with their seafood. The surf and turf, half chicken and the filet. Everything was cooked to our liking and flavorful. Finished off with dessert, crème brûlée and the chocolate lava cake a la mode. Dinner was great, food was great, staff was great. Would definitely be back for dinner and need to try out brunch.
google avatar

Janet K.

Yelp
This spot feels like my friends home where it feels warm and welcoming. Foothill is like upscale of twoheys in south Pasadena. I believe it's owned by the same owner. Their happy hour is amazing with devils egg yummy! Cocktails to wine list to beer can't go wrong~ with endless conversation with friends and big portion with great prices don't want to leave~ ha! It really gives you that comfort feeling and not feeling rushed to eat and leave., Definitely check this place out if you're in Pasadena! Make sure to wear stretchy pants and get ready to eat and drink!

Yelp
My friend and I decided on brunch at foothill on a Sunday afternoon. There is limited parking available on the street, as well as the lot in the back, but it isn't impossible. We didn't have a reservation but the host informed us that the wait was about 30 minutes; however, she was able to sit us in 20. There's a spacious bench in front of the host stand, and in a shaded area for anyone who needs to wait. When we were greeted, we ordered our drink and food items immediately, but given that it was quite the busy afternoon, it did take a bit for our food to arrive. Everything was delicious, and our server was fantastic throughout our service.

Yelp
Came here for brunch with a friend on Saturday around 10:30am. This place was pretty full but we didn't have to wait for a table. They have a large outdoor patio area which is where we opted to sit. Menu-wise they offer the typical brunch food. I decided to go with the short rib hash and my friend got the crab cake Benedict. The short rib hash was good although a tad bit oily. My friend said the crab cake Benedict was ok, she's had better crab cakes. Overall, food was pretty standard, the ambiance was nice, and the prices were standard. Parking can be a hassle. They have a parking lot in the back but that was full when I arrived. I ended up finding some street parking in the residential area behind the restaurant.

Yelp
Unbelievably delicious lobster Benedict huge chunks of Lobster. Excellent service nice upscale ambiance. Wide selection of coffees. My son loved his breakfast burrito too. Try the lavender latte amazing. They have a nice brunch too. Prices are what you would expect from an upscale Pasadena place good value.

Yelp
Absolutely Delicious food!!! Our first time here today and we will DEFINITELY BE BACK!!! Everything the four of us ordered was OFF THE CHARTS SOOOO YUMMY!!!! The Waiter was FUN and had us laughing the whole time! Sophia the Hostess was a Sweetheart! And the Owner came over to chat and was such a great guy! Food is really Delicious!!

Yelp
We had breakfast here on a Sunday and the food was good and vibes were as well. Enjoyed our breakfast!
google avatar

Rochelle M.

Yelp
My daughter found Foothill during a last-minute search for a place to eat before a scheduled event. We were worried that there would be a long wait on a Sunday, but we were pleasantly surprised to have found parking in the small backlot and seated right away without a reservation. We were given the option of a table inside or outside. We liked the ambiance in both areas, with all tables nicely laid out. Although it was a beautiful cool sunny day, the music from the DJ at the patio was too loud for our liking so we sat inside where the muted music in the background was more enjoyable. Drinks came out quickly, with our orders taken right after. Service was relaxed. Refills were done without having to ask. We ordered the Crab Cake Benedict with avocado added, Prime Rib Dip and Brioche French Toast. My daughter prefers French Toast to be thicker, but she said it was still very good. My husband really liked the perfectly sized bowl of au jus for dipping his sandwich. The fries and country potatoes were crisp and tasty. Nice portions and overall delicious. We are so glad to have found such a lovely brunch spot in Pasadena. We'll be back. :)

Yelp
I recently made a dinner reservation. We were sat very quickly and a table/ booth in a corner; lively ambiance inside but a little too breezy for us outside. We placed our food order quickly as we were hungry. We started with the mac & cheese appetizer, and two entrees; coffee braised short rib and the steak frites. I also received my cocktails, the rose bowl, promptly. It was delicious! The mac and cheese was so-so. The sauce was thin, and has no specific cheese flavor. The herb crumbs were the best part (if you like strong rosemary and thyme flavors). While eating the mac & cheese I decided to look at pics of what we ordered. I regret not doing so before I ordered. Our food came and I immediately reached for a garlic fry. It needed salt. The garlic was a dollop of what looked to be pretty raw garlic in the middle of the pile of fries. I tried a second fry which was better with ketchup. The steak (ordered medium, but is a thin cut regardless) was very hard to cut through. It seemed to be a tough cut although it had so much fat on it. I tried a second bite but the feeling was the same. I was then able to sample the braised short rib. Although the portion of beef was big and technically a fork was able to pull apart the meat it was also lackluster. The meat was overcooked and incredibly salty. The string beans were undercooked a bit, and the "whipped" mashed potatoes were gummy. We both agreed the food was a miss. At that point I was ready to be done with dinner, unfortunately. Our server was very attentive and friendly. He offered to take back my steak, which I accepted, and to replace it but I was no longer interested in other dishes. I don't know if these flavors are standard, or maybe they were having a different kind of night. I would probably only return if in the area and for the cocktail only.

Yelp
Looking for a great local spot? Give this place a try. We have gone here several times and have not been disappointed with their food or service. They have a great outdoor patio seating area, and a quaint indoor space. Lots of menu items to choose from for every palate. And their cocktails are not skimpy on the liquor. This time we had the deviled eggs, fried portabello mushrooms, and chicken pomodoro. Drinks came out quickly, food was delicious, server came back several times to check in on us. Only downside is that parking can be scarce as their lot is small and street parking can be limited.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely delicious! Top notch service & great ambiance! First time here & I'm already planning another visit! Hostess quickly sat us at the table of our choice. Our Server, Travis was very attentive, provided great suggestions & checked on us frequently enough to ensure we were taken care of! He went out of his way to get the bartenders feedback on a custom drink which resulted in a delicious Gin Raspberry Martini! Many Happy Hour options which made it easy to choose a few including the most delicious deviled eggs, spinach dip w chips, tempura shrimp & fish tacos. We finished our fun night with the tastiest peach cobbler topped w ice cream & a yummy sundae! Definitely a restaurant I'll suggest to all my friends & family!

Yelp
Prepare to park on the street on neighborhood because they have a small parking lot behind the restaurant, accessible from the alley. Very pretty patio seating. Interior is dark wood and comfortable. People seem to love the mimosas, which looks like they can be self mixed at the table. The Brioche French toast is great to share. The Lox Avocado toast was fine, but I found the toast a bit too thin. Coffee refills were generous

Yelp
Apparently this place is popular for birthdays as we were not the only ones celebrating. The outdoor patio is very spacious and the weather finally let up for a nice sunny day after the insane amount of rain we had in the past couple days. There were plenty of umbrellas to combat the brightness. The patio area is not visible from the street because of the greenery on the fencing so it feels nice and private. Parking may be a bit of a hassle as there are not too many spots in the back lot which is accessible through the alley, however street parking is available in front of McDonald's next door. We were served by Marcus and he offered a nice variety of recommendations. I opted for the chicken chilaquiles with a lavender turmeric latte with almond milk. Our party also got the Chicken & Waffles, Standard breakfast, pancakes, Nutella waffle and from the Boozy Brunch, Chaos is my Best Friend. Everything was so beautifully plated including the drinks. My latte was delicious. The problem with lavender is sometimes it can taste soap-y but it wasn't the case here. There was visible sprinkling of turmeric on top but I couldn't taste it after mixing it in, might be a good thing. Portions were good and it was still enough to share. Marcus was awesome and came back to make sure our food was perfect as we had some customizations. He also provided plates and a sparkle topper for our cake that just made our day.

Yelp
Nice selection on menu for appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. The mushrooms fries were absolutely crunchy and flavorful. The Cobb salad with tangerines was delicious and enough to share. We ordered the specials for the day ( Saturday) for our dinner: Halibut & risotto and pasta with mussels, clams & shrimp. All had good flavor. The shells of mussels and clams were large but the seafood instead were small. Delicious Apple pie warmed with a scoop of ice cream was our finish to dinner. Service was quick, attentive and professional. We ate on the patio on a pleasant evening. At 6:30 PM an international jazz guitarist performed. All around, it was a very nice dining experience.

Yelp
I came here for a late lunch/co-working sess and we had a great time! Staff was top notch for us and the decor is trendy yet inviting. We intentionally chose a later time (2PM) for a less crowded atmosphere since we were hoping to stay a little longer and put our laptops up, which they were very friendly about. Plus, they have Happy Hour from 3-6PM (Tues - Fri). We started off with some delicious cocktails. I got the Rose Bowl which was refreshing, slightly tart and very smooth with the egg whites on top. Definitely got floral hints with the rose syrup as well. The rose petal on top is a nice touch too! My coworker got the Lavendar 72 and said it was tasty as well. For food, we ordered: + Deviled Eggs: So tasty, nice portion (full order is 6) and the bacon bits on top were crispy. + Prime Rib Dip: Tender meat, good dipping au jus and sturdy french roll bread to hold all the ingredients. I especially liked the melty cheese and garlic aioli paired in it.

Yelp
We were seated fairly quickly on Saturday night dinner rush. They were very busy so service was just a little bit slower than I would prefer but our waiter was pleasant. The appetizers were good but I'm not sure if I would order Onion rings again for that price. Bolognese pasta was exceptional and my kids devoured it. The steak was OK, it wasn't as flavorful, but still enjoyed it. The burger was not good, the bread and the meat were dry. The patio was tastefully decorated and spacious to accommodate large parties. There was a table near by that had 20 people and there were still plenty of tables spaced apart for 10 more parties of 4. The parking situation is bad. I had to park two streets north of the restaurant in a dimly light residential neighborhood. Otherwise, it was a decent night out with the family.

Yelp
Wanted to celebrate the new year with brunch, so my best friend and I decided to check it out . In honor of the holiday we started off with two espresso martinis and we were so happy they were one of the most delicious martinis we have ever had. As best friends usually do we picked a few plates to share. I chose the chilaquiles of course ! Whenever I see chilaquiles on a menu it's an automatic for me . She chose the crab cake Benedict. Which she also commented that it was the most beautiful poached egg she ever saw! We also shared the chocolate chip pancakes . ( girl brunch !) everything was delicious and fresh . Our server was so kind and knowledgeable, just made for a perfect environment ! I can't wait to go back for brunch!

Yelp
Foothill is a very cute brunch spot! The outside seating was shaded and the atmosphere was casual and light. The server was very friendly and we got our food and drinks very quickly. We order the prime rib dip and chorizo chilaquiles. Both were very tasty and filling. I also ordered the Good Morning Sunshine cocktail, which I liked but could have done without the raspberry seeds in the drink. We made a reservation prior to coming because I heard the weekend brunch wait times can be long, but it wasn't super busy at all. We probably could have been seated right away without a reservation.

Yelp
They charged more than the menu prices on a few items. I brought it up to the server and she said they are revamping the menu. It's STILL ILLEGAL to charge more than stated on menu , website , price tag etc. food was decent but we will not be back. I wanted to find a manager to complain but the rude waitress was the only person I saw.

Yelp
Ahh. Where do I begin? The drinks are good and the ambiance is amazing! Service 10/10 but there was a hair in our artichoke dip and that was a wrap for us. We cancelled our food that we had ordered with the kitchen and left. Will not be returning.

Yelp
If you are in the Pasadena area, but don't want to deal with the hassle and bustle of Colorado blvd go to The Foothill. I've visited twice and enjoyed myself each time. The staff is very kind and the food is delicious! My current favorites are the short ribs sliders, key lime pie and espresso martini. Whether you sit inside or outside the ambiance is welcoming and fun.

Yelp
I enjoy coming to the restaurant. The service is good, just wish the menu had more options. The drinks are also pretty good! A fun brunch place for sure.

Yelp
The ambiance is amazing! There is live music sometimes and the food is reasonably priced. I especially love the wide variety of whiskey and spirits! I highly recommend the lamb chops and the burger!

Yelp
Came here with a group of 6 on December 30th to do our holiday dinner. Cute little restaurant space with a large outdoor area. The parking lot was small, maybe space for about 15 cars? But there was plenty of residential street parking. Our waitress was nice, but at times a little odd. She said my friend and I must be from the same place because we both like cherry coke. We kind of politely laughed it off because...a lot of people from various places like cherry coke? Doesn't seem like a specific enough drink to comment on. But then when we didn't confirm or deny it, she asked if we were, in fact, from the same place. I guess she was trying to be friendly and make conversation but it was kind of odd. And those drinks never got refills, sadly. On the subject of drinks, my other friend asked if a certain wine was dry or sweet and the waitress told her dry, so she said never mind. But the waitress still brought said wine out to her. Which was fine because as it turned out, the wine was actually sweet, confirmed both by taste and by googling that particular wine. 3 people in my group got steak frites. They all said the fries and caramelized onions weren't salted at all. One complained their steak was mostly gristle. Another complained it was gristly, but okay. One person in the group got fish and chips, which she said tasted like fish sticks and also was lacking in salt. Someone else got the lamb chop NYE special and had no complaints. I got the grilled salmon and have no complaints. I'm not usually a fish person, but it sounded good and it was. Seasoned well and a generous portion. Two people in the group said their brunch menu and photos on yelp seemed to be more prominently featured, so maybe we should give them a second chance for brunch sometime. But otherwise, would not return for dinner. Also, there was a very talented guitarist playing instrumental versions of pop songs in the dining room which was nice, but very loud, making it difficult for our group to have a conversation. Probably better suited for their outdoor space.

Yelp
Food was decent for a brunch. The chilaquiles were a little soggy and the quesadilla was very burnt which was kind of disappointing. The service was also decent (15%). The server was attentive at the start, but then never came back to the table so getting the check took awhile. Also, the server kept speaking to us in Spanish even though we didn't know Spanish, so that was a little confusing. Overall, decent place with a nice outdoor patio/ambiance, but it can get a little warm in the sun.

Yelp
Thank you for adopting me. The food is getting better the drinks are better, and the bar tenders are getting better. My new home. Melina Sabe lo que Cocina :)
