My daughter has been dancing at Footnotes for the past 10 years, and it has truly been an incredible experience for her. She has grown tremendously as a dancer and as a person, finding a second family among the teachers and peers who make her feel right at home. We've had so much joy sharing life with our Footnotes and Vibe family. The studio owner, Cheryl, sets exceptionally high standards and promotes an environment of respect, love, and self-confidence. I honestly couldn't imagine my daughter dancing anywhere else. I will cherish every moment we have left here (only four more years!) and highly recommend Footnotes to anyone. Additionally, the quality of technique, music selection, and choreography is unmatched in the region.

For over 11 years, this dance studio has been a second home for our girls. We’ve had an amazing experience at FootNotes Dance & Acrobatics! Both of my daughters have been part of this wonderful dance family—one in recreational and the other in competitive dance—and I couldn’t be more impressed. The studio truly feels like a second home, where every dancer is treated with care and respect. The staff are not only nurturing but also exceptional in teaching top-notch technique across various styles, including jazz, contemporary, hip hop, musical theater, ballet, acro, and more. The sense of community is incredible, and we’ve felt supported every step of the way. From the dedication of the instructors to the tireless work put into performances and competitions, they consistently go above and beyond for the families. My daughters have gained so much more than just dance skills; they’ve developed confidence, a strong work ethic, competitiveness, and the ability to work as part of a team. The competitive team’s success speaks to the quality of training, and we’re so proud to be part of it! My daughter has danced at Footnotes since 2009. She started in the 2nd grade and is now a freshman in HS and still is dancing with them. She LOVES dance and never wants to miss a class! I attribute that to the quality of dance education and the positive learning environment that this studio provides. Also a plus the group of girls that she dances with are all outstanding young ladies who support one another! Great Dance Studio!!!

I am appalled at how this studio acted at a competition in Atlanta. They encouraged their girls at awards to mock another studios chant and purposely changed levels of their routines to ensure they went up against the others. They were heard making comments such as “strike 2” and “shut up” to this other studio. This was in the very same seating as the studio owner and director so it was obviously encouraged. This is shameful and disgusting behavior as adults and mentors to be showing young ladies. If you’re looking at this studio you should know what you’re getting into.

This studio is absolutely amazing and so inspiring to watch! I have been to many showcases and the choreography is incredible! All the dancers are SOO GOOD, especially premier!!

All 3 of my daughters take classes at Footnotes and we have been there for over 6 years. We love all of the teachers and staff and it has been a very positive environment for them. My oldest is part of the competitive company there and she has learned so much... a superior dance education! Highly recommend this studio!

We just celebrated our tenth year with The Footnotes Family. My daughter started in the recreation program and within a year joined the competitive team, Footnotes has amazing teachers that really get to know the dancers. Dancing is such a huge part of my daughters life. She has grown so much in her dance technique and confidence. Every year she improves and is challenged! The atmosphere is warm and supportive. My daughter has made lifelong friends with the dancers and the teachers. We are looking forward to another year with Footnotes!

My granddaughter signed up for a camp and on the first day to start my daughter showed up and was told the class was canceled! We got NO notice or any communication from them. My granddaughter was so disappointed. They also tried to say it was my daughters fault and not theirs. Bad business!!!!

This place produces great dancers! I do feel, however, they are a little hard on the kids. There's so many nights of practice- it's hard for the kids to have a life outside of dance

This is my daughter's second year at Footnotes. When I first brought her to this studio, we had previously had a negative experience at another place. The instructors welcomed her with open arms and warm hearts. In no time at all, they boosted her self-esteem. As a dance mom, I was thrilled to see my daughter was loving dance again. The AMAZING Footnotes staff helped my dancing daughter relight her fire and find her passion that was lost the year before. I can't say enough or thank them enough for what they have done for her. If you're looking for a dance studio that is really like a family, this is the place!
