We're professional climbing and adventure vacation guides, visiting this store as a recommendation by the Friends of the Blue Ridge conservation group. It's a small store but smartly supplied with everything you need and it's right in the heart of downtown Boone. The large four-sided climbing wall in the courtyard made our visit very congenial.

Great store. I was looking for a thermal shirt. They have a good selection. Lots of hiking and camping gear. I have shopped at two stores (Boone and Banner Elk), and the staff are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

Are boys have done this each year we vacation in the mountains. Excellent crew, patient and very accommodating - all ages. Well run, decent price and great encouragement factors. They had a great time today!

Hunter helped me a boat load in trying to pick a water filter. He was a great help and gave me all of the options to make the best decision.

For hiking and backpacking supplies in Boone, Footsloggers is unmatched. When my old boots unexpectedly fell apart the day prior, Footsloggers was a lifesaver after two unsuccessful stops elsewhere. Even though it was near closing time and I had already picked out Oboz boots that would have been fine, Tori went above and beyond by suggesting a few other boot options that led me to an even more comfortable pair of Salewas. Her incredible service made for a fantastic shopping experience and the boots held up nicely on the trail. I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

Forget Mos or the other places, this is the best place to get hiking boots, socks and gear. Their staff is extremely knowledgeable and experienced. Not just sales people, but real hikers and campers.

Taylor was very helpful. Had a energetic 4 year old running around but he was very understanding & I couldn’t have been more pleased with the customer service. He did everything he could to help us out. He was very kind to us & that’s hard to find nowadays. Thanks Taylor!!

first of, thank you so much Thea for being absolutely amazing in my very first Footslogger Experience! You've really made an impact on me and will forsure be seeing me more often! a few of us (4) had came in a little under an hour before closing and Thea came to help immediately! i've never bought a pair of Chacos before and Thea came in and really made it a whole experience! not only that but she immediately knew more about my feet than i did forsure! she not only helped me get my first pair of comfortable chacos but she also fitted me for my first pair of Salomons! she also showed each one of my friends AMAZING service and i left a very VERY happy customer. i will be telling all my friends about Footsloggers forsure!

My kids decided they wanted to climb the wall when we visited Boone recently. Neither had any climbing experience. The staff were wonderful. Made them feel comfortable. Explained everything well and had so much patience. My kids loved it. Want to go back again. If was great fun for me too watching them climb.

Surprising selection of actual outdoor gear, not tourist knockoffs. Store is run by people who actually camp and spend a significant amount of time using their gear! We shopped online, and were surprised to have a local store surpass the online stores in knowledge!

Yay for Footsloggers! If you're an avid outdoorsy person, this shop is for you! This location boasts a climbing tower (YES! A climbing tower) & paddle shop. Need hiking footwear? Look no further...they custom fit you! The staff here are knowledgeable & fun. You know a place is good if they've been in business for 40 years! The staff can give you how tos's, hiking maps & guides (local to the area). Make Footsloggers a must stop if you're in Boone!

I liked this place, although I didn't purchase anything the associate offered me a bumper sticker which I thought was a kind gesture. The merchandise was exactly my taste, but I was tapped out when I walked in. Thank you.

This is a great outdoors store that has been in business for a long time. They carry top notch products and are great to do business with. They can help you get going on a hike or other outdoor adventure as well.

Oh Footsloggers. I am always in awe of their climbing tower and two-part shop. Also, very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Went in for the first time to go buy a hammock and they did not hesitate to assist me in the best way. When I returned to buy Chacos, they were sitting on a very limited supply, but took down my information to let me know when the next shipment would come in. Very concerned with the satisfaction of their customers. And even though I didn't buy anything, they sized my feet for me so I wouldn't be stuck trying on different shoes and misleading myself. Love the guys at Footsloggers. Definitely go there if you have any outdoor (or even casual) needs!

I would have bought a new pack here but considering the bad customer service I decided to spend my money elsewhere. This place should really work on engaging with the people that walk through the door.

Had everything you need for the outdoors. Even had the hard to find Vibram Five Fingers. Spent some time climbing their outdoor rock climbing wall too. Great store!!

Great store. Gave me a replacement part for my Leki hiking pole. Friendly and helpful service.
