"Portland’s newest food cart pod, FOPO Food Carts, will take over an empty lot at SE 74th Avenue and Foster Road. It will house 16 vendors and feature bamboo landscaping, a fire pit, and a covered patio. The project is from a father-son duo at development company Anamic Construction, which has previously focused on affordable housing. Co-owner Gene Pavlenko, a first-generation immigrant, developed a love for Portland’s carts over his 20 years in the city, leading to this venture." - Tim Forster

I love the street tacos and the atmosphere of it!! It's so much better than fast food. Good soul food for your palate and affordable tacos and more!!! I manage to save one to take a picture of it. Amazing food in our area!!

My husband and I decided to try Los Tamales Locos food cart and all we can honestly say is that their food is amazing. I had the tamale plate with rajas tamales which were very delicious and spicy just how I like them. My husband had the Oaxacan quesadilla with Al pastor meat. The lady serving us took a bit because she handmade the tortilla for the quesadilla and it was so delicious and worth the wait. We also got Esquite (Mexican corn) on the side, which was also very good and spicy. I had never seen Esquite made with Serrano peppers before but it definitely ads a lot more flavor, although for those who do not like a lot of spicy food maybe ask to skip out on these. Overall great food, cute little lot with plenty of space to sit and enjoy the evening.

The Thai cart was so good! I rarely write reviews but I needed to share my thoughts on how delicious my pad Thai was. Ether than any other pad thai I’ve had in Portland. The woman at the cart was super nice. And the amount of food you get for $8 was amazing.

Excellent tamales at Los locos. Delicious beer served by Suzanne $4.00 PINTS! of the house beer! I'm glad I stopped definitely coming back especially when the fire pit is going. Clean neat environment. Make it your next stop!

The Thai cart is TO DIE FOR... why isn't it on Google Maps? Some of the best Thai in Portland and such a great price. Not oily like a lot of Thai food can be. So amazing. I eat a lot of f'in Thai y'all take me seriously

Pop’z Place is the place to go! BBQ, Burgers, Sandwiches, Salads, Pastas, Yakisobas, Deserts, Chicken Wings, Loaded Fries, Orange or Walnut Chicken, so much more. This is classic home style fusion cooking with elegance. Pop’z Place is anything but average, using fresh high end ingredients without being overpriced. This food is an experience, you can taste the craftsmanship and expertise. Not to mention the servings! Wowzers, you can share, have left overs, or try to eat it all, you’ll love every bite. Don’t settle for less than you deserve by eating from a production line or high processed foods. Support small businesses like this one where cooking for you is their passion. Pop’z Place keep doing what you do!

Saw a piece on J and W fish run on channel 12. The were talking up this place and their fish sandwich. I couldn't get it out of my mind, so at about 1:30 in the afternoon I found myself standing in line while either"J" or "W" struggled by herself to keep up with the orders. She was polite and explained that it would probably be 30 minutes to get an order out, but I decided to wait it out. About 35 minutes later my number was called and I retrieved my sandwich. It was delicious along with battered, deep fried pickles. I will be back at some point, but hopefully not have to wait as long

Yelp
Drove past this location tonight and no trucks were there. Can you confirm the closure? The pod at 52nd and Foster recently closed too. Sad for those of us near these spots that would go occasionally.

Yelp
new food cart pod just across from The Mercado - more space, more options, more laid back than Mercado. I stopped in while dogwalking and had a nice chat with and beer from Suzanne at Chinchilla Beer Porch, the latest in her and partners' series of successful beer buses / trucks they've created and sold. (St. Johns Beer Porch, the Division Street Beer Porch -- now Captured Beer Bus -- Alberta Street Beer Porch (the Hoppy Camper, before it closed), and the Sauvie Island Beer Porch). Featuring $4 pint draughts from their partner brewery Captured by Porches Brewery. More backstory: https://pdx.eater.com/2018/5/11/17341532/foster-powell-chinchilla-beer-porch-fopo-food-carts.

Yelp
This place is alright... It feels like a parking lot. I believe it's not going to be permanent so this makes sense. The open, covered bar looked cozy. The savory soup spot was awesome, so if you feel like soup make the trip!

Yelp
Really cute food cart pod! The beer porch is a cozy and kid-friendly space to hang out, very friendly and the prices are good. Not a lot of food carts but a decent assortment. A super welcoming neighborhood spot.

Yelp
Awesome selection and the beer cart is great! Covered patio and fire pit make for a cozy evening with delightful food and drinks.

Yelp
The atmosphere and service are so community oriented. I had Yum Yum Kebab; AMAZING flavor and delightful service. My wife had Rebels Kitchen and she raves about how you can choose any veggies and sauce for your burger. Come enjoy a great afternoon outside, by the fire pit and with great music playing. Not to mention the yummy food and bar!

Yelp
Stopped here after a massage. Great lemon ginger fizzy wine from the beer porch and a great burrito from Los Tacos. Nice seating areas for all types of personalities. I will come here again.

Yelp
Great little spot. Has a few very different food carts. And a little beer cart!! Can't wait to see it grow

Yelp
Just arrived from SoCal and landed here for a quick snack. Had a great street taco, and we know street tacos! Shared some incredible tater tots from another vendor, with great dipping sauce. And finally shared some fries from thekabob place. Our daughter enjoyed her falafel. All in all a great food pod! Hope you enjoy it too!
