Love this store. Been in twice now with my sister who lives in the area. Prices vary depending on what you're looking for. Really helpful and kind employees. The farm-fresh eggs are delicious. Decent priced vs grocery store eggs. Love the calendar that gets put out! A really unique bird shop! A must stop in if i say so :)

Never been in a bird store. So nothing to compare against. I was gifted a feeder. The gentleman, young guy, long hair, tall. Super helpful. Good selection, pricing seemed fair. I'll go back.

All of the employees are always friendly and helpful, answering any questions I have. They have a rewards program and so many unique gifts and anything you could want to keep attracting birds. The best is being able to take in your own buckets to have refilled to help reduce waste!

Had exactly what I needed and were very helpful. Was looking to get a better feeder fro Baltimore Orioles and they had what I needed. Had orioles start coming in the same day I got it. All the other ones I have tried got nothing. Also upgraded my hummingbird feeder and it has also been an instant success.

Went to a workshop on creating pots of plants/flowers for pollinators. It was absolutely fabulous! I highly recommend any workshop they put together!

Amazing selection, amazing staff, overall a great place to go for everything bird related. I bought this ground feeder and a birdhouse pole that they mounted to the bluebird house I bought somewhere else! 🥳 They have native seeds for our local pollinators, insects and ecosystem. These people are great, very knowledgeable and very helpful. I highly recommend this business.

Great store with a wonderful variety of products for birds like feeders, seed, bird baths and window decals. Items for the garden like wind chimes, sculptures and statuary. Plus an educational cubby and a selection of local products.

Very nice place lots of bird lovers stuff, very nice staff and asked if I needed any help. Just stopped in to look around. Definitely will be back soon. Also place is huge make sure you take your time.

I absolutely love this store!! We stopped in one day when we had some extra time and were amazed at the amount of different birdseed they offer. I loved that you can bring your own tub to fill with birdseed from their bulk options. They also have some great bird feeders, gifts, and a ton of knowledge if you're just getting started. We got a couple of Suet bird feeders to go with our current bird feeders we have and picked up one of their fliers for classes. One of their classes was coming up and I happened to be off that day so my boyfriend encouraged me to go. It was about Monarch butterflies and tagging. I have enjoyed planting flowers in our front garden this year and seeing so many butterflies as brought so much awe and excitement. There were quite a bit of people in attendance but there were ample chairs, refreshments, and helpful information as well. I learned a lot from the speaker and look forward to attending more of these sessions. I also got to get a few native plants from Bumbling Bee native flowers who had a set up just along the side for those who want to enhance their current garden! I definitely think For the Wildbirds is a gem of a store with a plethora of information for those who seek it. All of the staff there has been helpful, friendly, and actually remembered us from when we first stopped in! I know I'll be going back, to fill up on bird food, or attend another class. Either way, it's one of my favorite places!

Great selection of feed for all types of birds as well as any small furry creatures you might want to support this winter. Many options on bird feeders, squirrel baffles and other accessories to equip and cover any options. Knick knacks also for sale that make it fun to browse the store. Staff is knowledgeable and supportive from answering questions to helping you load a purchase into the car. Price point seemed right for the many purchases my wife and I have made. Good value for your money. Give it a shot; it makes getting out in the winter weather not seem so bad!

For the Wild Birds is my go to place for picking up bird seed, feeders, and all the paraphernalia that goes with it. The employees are knowledgeable and happy to help find what I need. A couple of years ago I attended a session at the store about feeding and attracting hummingbirds. I set up my first successful hummingbird station due to that session. I also recently bought another tube feeder since the birds seemed to be having fracases because of crowding. A couple of days ago I spotted a small, furry creature with a long tail noshing on birdseed dropped from the feeders. After consulting with family and Google, I concluded it was a young rat eating the seed spillover. Back to For the Wild Birds, twice, actually. The first time I bought a seed hoop to hang from the feeders to catch what the birds drop. The second trip was to ask for help assembling said seed hoop, which they were happy to do. If it reduces spillover, I'll have to get another. In the meantime I vacuumed the fallen seed, spread ammonia cleaner and stuffed crevices with peppermint cotton balls. With no food, I hope my little visitor moves on. One great thing about this store is the variety of quality bird food and the advice they give for attracting different species. We have quite a few birds coming to our feeders now so I will be going to get seed regularly.

I love the store. Everyone works there is helpful and happy to see you. It smells great, they have interesting and fun products... I always leave here happier than when I walked in. Highly recommended!

This is our go-to for supplies for our feeders! They have anything our feathered friends desire. Great houses and supplies. An awesome staff is essential. Here, that's sorted. Great staff, and great staff pets! I love that. They're all great. That they also have events. Definitely a plus. They get our cash so we can delight the birds that make our days brighter!

I love this store! Since moving back to Omaha I've become such a bird nerd. I love watching all the birds in our backyard and neighborhood. They have a great selection of bird food, feeders, houses, along with cute yard decorations. The staff, along with their cute Dachshund are always very friendly. They really know their stuff. They also offer a point system where the more you buy, you can get discounts for future items.

Fabulous store for bird food, feeders, and other wildlife-related products! Friendly staff - and occasional open houses with raptors and educational talks!

Out Christmas shopping, I actually stopped here because they sell Benson Soap Mill products and wanted to get some, but also my parents love birds so I thought I could kill two birds with...uh never mind. If you are a bird or furry friend lover this is your place! They have bird houses and feeders of all types, from small Jenny wren houses to very large squirrel deterrent bird feeders, decorative to functional. They also have many different varieties of food, to attract certain types of birds or furry friends. They have handmade houses from local artists which are truly unique. The owner and her daughter could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We will definitely be stopping back for gifts or to replenish our Benson soap stock.

If you love birds, you will love this place! Lots of seed choices, even one the squirrels don't like!!! The ladies are very knowledgeable and helpful. All sorts of feeders, bird baths and gift items. Fun place!

I have bought bird supplies from every vendor in Omaha. This business has the best quality bird seed and as friendly as is appropriate. I have never had any issues with the staff , honestly they are great.

Blown away by this little shop! Once casual bird admirers now we are avid bird enthusiasts! Upon entering the store the children and I felt transported to a magical place! Not just a pretty atmosphere tho, they really know their stuff! This store has it all, amazing service, fair prices, unique local artisan items down to repair parts, the healthiest seed and feed mixes along with gifts, informative books and so much more! On our first visit we were greeted by Patrick who made us feel at home. He is super knowledgeable and really helped us make the right choices for our backyard wildlife (birds, pollinators and more) without a single 'sales pitch', he even encouraged us to bring in our feeders and birdhouse, then they looked at items we brought in (purchased at G-sales, etc...) helping us use them correctly. Everyone there has been so friendly and helpful, we have been back 3 times this week! We have an area now properly catered toward the specific wildlife my family wanted to attract to our home plus those we already have in our area and enjoy! We are absolutely amazed at the backyard visitors we have noticed in an unusually short time! No more frustration with long hours of research and disappointment, unused feeders, empty birdhouses and wasted seed! My children are so excited with each new wildlife visit to our yard and spend twice as much time outdoors than before we shopped there! For the Wild Birds is another local family owned jewel that (IMHO) everyone with a yard should visit! I am so glad that we did! It has been pleasantly life altering and so unexpected! We have noticed this little store, meaning to "stop in sometime" and driven by... I regret not stopping sooner and now I often refer others. We spent so little but with such great reward!
