"With wood-lined walls and repurposed church pew seats, this café is as cozy as it gets. Serving up Monmouth brews exclusively along with some of the best pastries in town from Cocomaya and Clarke's of Kensington, this makes a great pit-stop on a leisurely day out touring the Barbican or nearby Spitalfields. This is the kind of place you'd come accompanied by a great book rather than a laptop. "

I try not to drink coffee at lunch because it keeps me awake in work all afternoon. Just kidding. I've been working in this area about 4 months and finally found this place. It is all about the coffee and you can tell: they have lovely Monmouth roasts and only use Jersey milk. The interior design is like a treehouse club house and not only is the coffee like the best coffee you had in that dream once, but the food is lovely too. Will definitely be back as often as possible.

I stayed in a hotel around the corner and came here every day. The coffee is gorgeous and the croissants a pleasure. Very friendly staff and a table sharing policy. If you’re looking for a proper(!) coffee in London this is your place to go!

What a fantastic little coffee shop. The coffee is brilliant, food lovely and service Fab! You can tell this is a favourite haunt of the locals! Great atmosphere and lots of old photos of classic comedians. They only have around 20 seats so not huge but I managed to find a seat. They also have a table sharing policy so that all seats can be filled. But lovely place!

You can't be blamed if you've not stumbled upon this little place before, as I think that's the only way a lot of it's customers found it too. But it just proves you can find some real hidden gems in this city if you keep your eyes open. It's extremely quaint inside with no wi-fi and limited seating, so it's a wonderful little place decorated floor to ceiling in wood with church style bench seating to tuck yourself away and catch up with friends. They have their own version of the cronut in stock, but they sell out quickly so get down early if you want to give one a try! While their selection of sweet & savory is limited, their cakes (especially the carrot cake) is perfectly baked and will leave you wanting to try out the rest of their options!

This is a very cute cafe in the City - they make really good hot chocolate, not too sweet which I love! It’s fairly busy in the mornings but gets quieter around late afternoon.

One of the best carrot cake I had in London. I would recommend to have lid covering the cake and pastry for hygienic purpose.

Small, cozy and lots of character. All pastries and treats are from wonderful St Johns and they use Monmouth Coffee and Jersey milk! Paradise for a coffee lover looking for an authentic real experience in London! 😍

Found this through the Good Coffee app (under the name Wild and Wood, which I assume is outdated information) and stopped in for a drink after lunch. Coffee came very quickly and was very nice, and already a perfect temperature for drinking. They use jersey milk as standard, which is a nice touch and definitely noticeable, but alternative milks are also available should you need them. As we’d already had a decent lunch, I wasn’t able to find room for cake, which is sad since the options available looked lovely! The interior is really interesting with newspaper clippings and photos up all over the walls (which I believe are all panelled in reclaimed wood from a church?) and has a cosy feel, which I prefer over the more minimalist style that seems to be getting popular now.

Yelp
Boom! Its taken time and research but I have finally found my new regular coffee spot in the morning close to my office in Moorgate. Wild & Wood sits nestled amongst the London Wall lunch spots, its difficult to notice that its there unless you are looking for it. From the outside it somehow makes me think of an old London book store, lots of notices in the window obscuring you from easily glancing into this little coffee spot. On entering you will find a few tables with old church pew's for seating. You will also notice a lovely selection of baking and goodies for nibbling on. To say this is a cut above their mainstream neighbours is to do understatements a disservice. This morning I went for an almond croissant, really delicious and the perfect way to improve a Monday morning. My usual coffee order of flat white done very well and all for under a £5 makes me a happy JD, even on a Monday morning.

Yelp
Best coffee in London. My shot of espresso was as good as the best I can get in Rome. it was a double but I'm not complaining a moment.

Yelp
The coffee in this city has something to be desired aside from a couple great spots. I wasn't expecting this place to be as good as it was. One of the best coffees I have had in London. High quality cappuccino. Really nice staff, and a cute small shop.

Yelp
Wild & Wood is a cozy cafe with excellent coffee, pastries and friendly staff. The open floor plan and closely packed seats take a bit of getting used to but are an endearing feature.

Yelp
Great coffee and one of the best mocha coffe ever tried! The place is very small and they have a "table sharing" policy but line goes away quickly. Staff is very kind and they have a good selection of pastries for your coffee.
