Beautiful BrewPub! We will come back to Owatonna, MN for some Great Food at a decent price and a Fantastic selection of local brews and seltzers. Try a flight or take home Crowlers and Growlers. You won’t leave hungry or thirsty!

Got there with some friends and waited 15 minutes before someone served us, table was also dirty (minus 1 star). Waitress apologized and cleaned the table immediately. She went above and beyond after realizing how long we were sitting there. Food was very good. Appetizers were out quickly, and the flatbreads tasted great! I would go back again in the future

I really like this place. I have been here a few times. I ordered a flight of beer to try and I really like the Gobstopper sour. Seltzers are good too and lots of different flavors. Food has been fresh and service is good too. I did have trouble finding a place to park, but that's not the restaurant's fault! I would recommend checking this place out.

Visited Foremost Brewing Cooperative on a weekday just after they opened. The tap room is large and a good atmosphere. For the non-beer drinkers they have liquor as well as seltzers and there own soda. They have a good selection of different styles of beer. I tried a flight of beers plus sampled a few others. Really liked the Nut Brown Ale. They also offer food. We got he pretzel bites and they were good.

Foremost is coop brewery which is always a cool idea. The tap room is huge which makes sense as they have a full food menu. For the non-beer friends they have liquor as well. As for the beer....they had 15 beers, a seltzer, a cream soda and root beer. Porter, stout, nut brown, Fest, light, sour, kolsch, pumpkin, a few IPAs, and more. Bar tender says the rotate beers regularly. I had time for just a flight of the malty choices; I liked all of them. The porter was very good but I really liked the Nut brown. If I had more time I would sample everything and plan to stop back.

Great new brewery. Nice selection of beers including sours. Fun craft cocktails with local distillery bases. Clean, quiet enough to allow for conversation without shouting and tasty, simple foods to support and absorb the alcohol. :-)

Stopped in early on a Saturday to check this place out. We were hungry and they had their pizza oven going which smelled great but their menu was a little to fancy for me. Their beer was OK, I really liked one of their Sours and tried to buy a crowler of it to go but was told they had real limited supply of crowlers... the irony was I was looking right at their crowler machine while being told this. Service definitely was a let down here, so we left after our flight. There were maybe 4 groups in the place and the waitress was "training" someone but seemed very overwhelmed or lazy, telling the new person there wouldn't be much training today, more just trial by fire.

Great beer, atmosphere, food and service. You won’t be disappointed. I’ve been here several times and the beer is consistently really great. They also have mixed drinks featuring local/Minnesota distilleries liquor, which I appreciate. We’ve tried a number of food menu items and they all have been really great- pretzels, Cubano sandwich, chicken pesto panini and flatbreads. I highly recommend this place!

Finally made it down for my inaugural visit. I was cheerily greeted by Marketing Director Molly and beertender Pam. Both ladies were friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Pam helped me build my first flight. I always appreciate staff input when I'm new to a brewery and enjoy chatting them up about beer and breweries. Much thanks to Pam for amusing me w conversation since she does not drink. I was the first person in @ open but an hour later Pam was hustling!! She had three tables of people all lunching. She handled everyone like a true champ. Helpful hint: do not try to yell over to Pam, or staff from the other end of the bar if they're standing @ the south end of the bar, I couldn't hear it running but Pam would come over to me because she couldn't hear over the ice machine. Sorry. Upon glancing around I saw a $12 t-shirt rack, I din't ask if that was regular price or sale? I APPRECIATED that the shirts were: a 4X, 3X, two 2X and four smalls. Most brewery sale shirts are S or XS. I also purchased a sticker. \Molly did mention that the brewing was done downstairs where they also have a meeting room. There is an upstairs, however it's not available for use yet, it has to get up to code. I did notice they have an elevator! Thanks to Pam and Molly for making it a lovely and informative inaugural visit! Looking forward to my next visit to try more beers, and add some twin city brewery stickers to the wall. Cheers!!

We are Foremost regulars. Best beer and best rueben in Owatonna! I like that I can bring my friends who aren't beer drinkers and they can also find something they like--wine or cocktail. And I have to give a shoutout to Liz the Trivia Mafia host. Trivia Wednesdays are my favorite.

I was visiting family in town and they decided to show me Foremost. What a great spot in owatonna! Plenty of seating, great menu and I loved my strawberry seltzer. We split three appetizers. Two different types of carnitas tacos and the pretzels. The service was fast and prompt. The food was good and everything was clean. I would definitely go back to the more things!

My boyfriend and I stopped here on our way to a state park in Albert Lea to get some dinner and a drink. It was fine for what we needed but neither of us were blown away. Service was fast, they have a nice dog friendly patio, but their food and beer was mediocre. Maybe I'm spoiled with all of the great breweries in Minneapolis, but I just didn't really like my beer! My sandwich was pretty good, and my boyfriends quinoa bowl was fine but he said it had no seasoning. All in all, probably won't go back but it wasn't a terrible experience.

We came here for the LIVE MUSIC: Mark Graif and the Jazz Groove, and they were VERY smooth :) The other yelp reviewers are correct... the Cuban panini was a tasty highlight! Their Reuben was good also! They had soft drinks available for nondrinkers. This is not a dog friendly brewery, no outdoor seating and it was more of a restaurant energy, but there was lots of good shaded street parking so the Chihuahua lounged in the car within sight lines. It is a great location with big beautiful sunny windows and entrances on both blocks, and you can see right into the kitchen from the dining area which is always entertaining. Our server was fast, friendly, and attentive. Definitely a family atmosphere with all ages in the middle of the day.

In town for a wedding and decided to try. Really nice selection of beers and very good service. Some unique entrees, with more towards shareable, salads and sandwich's. My wife had a really good "SunnyHunny" flatbread. Some outdoor seating, but plenty of seating inside

Foremost is a new business that unfortunately had to refurb and recently open during the Covid pandemic, The exterior is old downtown, but the interior is bright and fresh. The north and south walls are windows. They follow all the Covid protocols and occupancy is limited. The food menu is small but I'd heard good things from friends. They have a variety of flatbreads, sandwiches, and salads. I think there is a soup of the day too. In addition to their variety of beers they offer wine and a limited menu of house cocktails. I started with a cocktail and had an English Pale Ale with my Cuban Panini. All three were very good. I'm a big fan of Cubans and this one didn't disappoint. I was pleased that the kettle chips that came with it were light and crisp. Not the rusty looking jawbreakers that some places sling on your plate. Foremost has a bright future and I will certainly be back.

Super impressed with Foremost. I booked the Tasting Room for my husband's 40th birthday party in May. Emailed inquiries were responded to almost immediately, and everyone I spoke with was friendly. When the guests started to arrive on party night, we were greeted by Brady, who was to be our server for the night. He had a great sense of humor and the guests loved him. He really seemed to enjoy his job. The beer is great and so are the mixed drinks -- my favorite are the Owatonna Buck and the Apple Cart. The food is fantastic. You can't go wrong with one of the flatbreads - especially the apple feta! I know it sounds weird, but trust me - it's FANTASTIC. If you want to know how this place sets itself from the other brewery in town - Foremost is bright, airy, has a private room for events, in addition to fantastic service and onsite food. We loved our experience so much and plan to keep coming back. Do yourself a favor and head to this place ASAP!

What a great find! Wonderful cocktails and great Beer! Bartender PAM is wonderful so friendly and a great person! Food was wonderful had the Olive Bread so YUMMY!
