Google
Great beer. But a suggestion: update the shipping info on your website. It currently states "Orders received by 12PM (eastern) ship same day. Any orders placed on a day that we are not shipping will be kept properly stored in our coolers and sent the following Monday." In actuality, they only ship on Thursdays, which I didn't find out until my order was placed...on a Thursday afternoon after their weekly deadline. This resulted in my beer sitting for an entire week until it was finally shipped the following Thursday a full 7 days later. Not really ideal. If this info would have been available on their website, I would have placed my order the day prior to avoid this. Again, fantastic beers.

Google
This is a great spot for a beer. No food is available but you can carry in.

Google
The New New Space is the warmest melting pot of people in the area. Staff will stop everything they are doing to make sure you're taken care of while ensuring every patron has a full glass. Edit - "Has F&M Changed?" Nope - it's still the same warm, welcoming place it's always been. Edit edit - great selection of food trucks. Great rotating draft list.

Google
Great service, cool vibes, and solid beer. Hadn't been to the area before so it was nice to see the variety of options for food near Forest & Main as well. Nice spot to grab a beer for sure.

Google
I was here on the evening of 1/22/22. I had the Solaire, A Quiet Party, Deep Peace, Wall of Time, and House Lager and enjoyed them all. No food served here. Bar tenders were attentive. Google maps took me to the old location even though the listed address is correct so put the address in instead of the name

Google
Dudes and ladies - This is a must visit. If you appreciate authentically hand crafted super food and brews, then be here and enjoy. Take in the subtle details of this wonderfully quirky address at the corner of Forest & Main, while enjoying some of the best craft beer in the entire region (and beyond). Update: F&M has moved onto the Main Street in Ambler. Cool English pub feel - beers 🍺 are all still delish and worth traveling for. Cheers 🍻 Vern

Google
Finally had a chance to visit the new location. Sad that they don’t serve food anymore (which was really good) but understand the decision. Enjoyed the beer - some hazy IPAs and some saisons. Really good. Took a 4 pack home. And great that they are close to some great restaurants. And close to Ambler train station.

Google
The most awesome place ever. Why have I never been here? I love the people, the beer, and the building! Not to mention their fun art and outside seating. Such a great place!!!

Yelp
Visiting from out of town & we had the best service & brews. Bartenders were so kind & provided many recommendations for beers & local restaurants. We loved our time at Forest & Main and will definitely be back! Thank you for your kindness & for making our trip!

Andrea R.

Yelp
We love Forest & Main, making the trek to Ambler about every six months. Their beer is some of the best in the area, and their bar is quaint, cozy, and welcoming. Add Ambler to the list of several dainty Philly, small-town burbs - some of the best Americana a person could want, from picturesque streets and historic homes to yummy modern restaurants, and, of course, good beer. Forest & Main is a favorite among local beer enthusiasts. They always have great lagers, a few items on cask, and just good "boring" beers. Plus, now they sell swag - posters, shirts, hats, stickers, beer to-go. Just know that F&M does not serve food. They sell beef jerky, I think, and maybe some chips? But the beer is, as it should be, the star of the show. They have a few things handy for those non-beer drinkers. Overall, great vibes and good people. You feel transported to a British pub in the best way possible.

Yelp
Great beers, great bartenders. Fabulous atmosphere. I didn't know what milk tubes were and now I do so there's education. Nothing not to like.

Yelp
Changes that took place from my last visit. The location moved slightly and they did not bring over the kitchen I was told. Hence, no food offered here but you can bring outside food in while you have a beer or two here. Also, there is something going on with their AC or lack of AC, everyone in the place was either sweating or uncomfortably hot. They had some intersting beer selections including a English Style Pale Ale, ESB or extra special bitter. I enjoyed the beer and like the fact they have hand pulled beers, cask beers, two different Saisons. It looks like this is a good local hang out in the Ambler area if you are strictly coming for a beer or two to hang out with coworkers however the no kitchen, no AC or lack of AC, are deal breakers for me. As always people SYOY!!!

Yelp
By far my favorite brewery in Ambler! The bartenders are knowledgeable and awesome service! Recommend it to all!

Justin C.

Yelp
Great place for a drink. Nice seating. Needs less IPAs of the Tap list though. I think 8 of the 12 beers were IPA. I'm just tired of these nasty bitter super Hoppy IPAs in the bars now. Enough is enough.

Chris W.

Yelp
This review is for their new location a few blocks away from their other spot. First impression was that this place was very clean - loved the barrels and furniture and the wood with black accents. Good amount on tap including several hand pump pours. The guy serving us was incredibly friendly and offered us to taste anything before we bought - we ended up with pours of their BBA saisons and hand pump pours, and took some cans and bottles to go. Chatted up with some locals, and will definitely be back in next time we're in the area. Also, you can bring in your own food! Very good prices as well.

Brandon R.

Yelp
Great beer selection (English style) They have side pulls which is not common but speaks to how much they care about their craft. Great service, great vibe.

Yelp
A friend at work suggested this small place to us, so my boyfriend and I thought we'd give it a try. It looks as if Forest and Main used to be a house and then was converted into a brewery and restaurant, which is both cool and troublesome. The place was tiny, and the bar area had a lack of seating for sure. Upon approaching the bar and asking for a menu and beer list, the bartender waited a couple of minutes and then with a huge attitude asked for our IDs. Now I 100% understand that it is the law to be IDed if you look under a certain age, but it has never been asked of me so rudely. I was very much taken aback and we actually almost left right then and there. We stayed for one beer a piece, the Legs that are Pants and the Mind Flags and snacked on the Poutine made with beef gravy made from stout, which was very good. Overall an okay place to spend a rainy evening, but not much more than that. Seating was lax and I was really turned off by the tone in which the bartender asked for our ID's. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that impression has stuck with me very much so. Maybe next time we'll avoid the bar altogether and just get some bites in the other room. The seating outside looked cute as well if the weather was nice.

Yelp
My wife and I moved from the area a few years ago and our recent trip back to F&M really made me miss it. Gregg (if you're visiting just ask him where to go...he might know everyone) and Mel couldn't have been better (she knew how to pour a snyt!!) and what seemed like an entire bar of friends almost convinced us to move back. I usually use Yelponly to check for hours and byo status but I felt compelled here to show some love. Oh yes, and the beer. It is the tops.

Maria L.

Yelp
Terrible brewery with dirty taps and ridiculous prices. The staff is cold and unfriendly. They are just interested in taking your money, no customer service. Spend your money elsewhere cause the beer here sucks!

Miguel S.

Yelp
Had a couple NEIPAs while at Ambler's Art Fest and did not disappoint. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name but it was really good.

Brian M.

Yelp
The wife and I stopped by on a Saturday night for a beer or two. The pale ale was very good, my wife had a local wine that she liked very much. I love the homey atmosphere of the bar area, there are many beers on tap and can not wait to try some more in the future. My only big problem is the seating. Bar stools with no backs, tables with uncomfortable chairs. You want people to stay and relax, impossible if your not comfortable. I guess the owners don't care. Drink your beer and go. Spend some money guys and make your bar great and a place to relax.

Sari Marissa G.

Yelp
Not only was I fairly underwhelmed by the brews I tried (Great Bells & Lucky Friend), I was bummed that a brewery wouldn't allow flights, the kitchen was closed in between lunch and dinner AND the place, while cute...is kinda disjointed and a bit confusing. I did thoroughly enjoy getting buzzed with my awesome friends out on the patio, the humorous descriptions of the brews and the Mexican din we had down the street, so there's that. Definitely not worth the drive up from the city in my opinion, especially with all of the new clutch breweries we have, but I was glad to finally try it as it's been "on the list" for years now. It's not a place for someone new to the brand and looking to sample. Just 'ehh' for me, and check the times if you're looking for food or snacks with your large glasses of beer.

Yelp
Forest & Main is an easy, chill place to hang when you're out and about in Ambler. They're situated in an renovated house and I believe all the floors are open to guests. There's nice picnic table seating outside so you can enjoy your dranks in the sun. They also recently expanded into a space next door which has plenty of indoor seating as well as live music some of the evenings. For me the beers are just all right. There's nothing particularly interesting about their brews, however I really like their outdoor atmosphere and the food selection. The brussel sprouts and burgers are always a solid choice. Pro-tip: Bring some cards or a small board game with ya to maximize your fun at the picnic tables!

Yelp
We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. 4 Other people there. Bartender was a tall blonde guy. I asked for a pint and asked him not to rinse the glass beforehand (personal preference). I immediately got a dirty look followed by, "We laugh at you back here every time you ask that." He then poured the glass 3/4 full, put it in front of me, and started talking to his friends. I called him over and asked how much this pint cost and he said $7.50, so I asked him to top it off. Again, another dirty look, this time with a grunt, and then the glass slammed in front of me. So we left after paying for my friend's drink. I'm also in a service industry and if I ever treated a person like that, I'd be fired. This is a new low for the place.

Yelp
Had a great time here! We brought our friends who are truly beer aficionados and they were very impressed. The bartender was very personable and friendly. I don't drink so I ordered the French Pressed coffee. Beautiful presentation and I got an education on how to use this contraption too. Yes, I admitted it- I'm not sophisticated. The restaurant is a converted home with a very unique charm and feel. I like the porch, bar areaand dining area too. The chairs in the dining room look vintage and they're mismatched but it totally works. The interior is rustic and charming. I have not ordered any food from this establishment. Personally I don't find the menu terribly appealing. It's very expensive and very limited. I overheard a patron order a burger to go- seriously?! That's way too expensive in my opinion. If you enjoy fine craft beer then this might be a good place to try! Treat yourself to a growler. When we were there it was a lovely day and young parents with kids were enjoying their brews at the outside picnic tables.

Yelp
I've been to Forest & Main several times but finally getting around to reviewing it. Each experience has been different so it's really hard to give a rating...I've been there and felt solid 5 stars and the next visit was barely a 1. My most recent visit was a 4 so that's what I'm going with. I've been coming here for about 9 months and the menu has changed a few times in that timeframe. They used to have a delicious and huge Greek salad that disappeared. They've also heavily modified their appetizers and gotten rid of some of my favorites like the pickled veggies, mac n cheese and brussel sprouts. This visit we got the F&M burger which is a staple on their menu and the gritty wings (new item). The burger was good, not great. The wings however were amazing...crunchy, spicy, full of flavor. I hope they stay on the menu. I don't drink beer so I can't speak to the taste of that. They use boardroom gin and it's delicious and smooth. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Prices are reasonable.

Yelp
It's a tap room that doesn't offer flights, but most of the beers are low alcohol, so you can try a few without worrying about getting super hammered. The beers I tried were all really good; eclectic, unique, and good variety. Several people in our party ordered burgers, and one NY strip - all came out cooked well under the requested temps. My cousin and her husband are from Montreal and wanted to see if the poutine is up to snuff; they said the cheese was too melted and not curd-like (so that's a "no," I guess). Hot wings weren't anything to write home about, nor was the "tortizza." The Brussels sprouts appetizer was delicious, but I don't know that I'd return next time I'm in town just for that. I guess the takeaway here is to come for the beer and that's it. Flights would be a big plus.

Yelp
Where do I start?!? We can't say enough nice things about our experience here!! This was an unexpected stop on our beer and food road trip, but recommended by a trusted friend. The beers were outstanding and I appreciated their 3 beers available on cask. Our beertender Mel was most hospitable and gave great advice and recommendations and made us feel special and like we were regulars stopping by on the daily! This is a gem brewery and beertender and I would hate for anyone to miss this! Thank you so much for a great experience!! We can't wait to share our beers we bought to bring home and share with friends! Cheers!

Neil R.

Yelp
I think this is a decent brewery. It's spacious, has lots of seating, and feels more like a pub to be honest. The staff is what bumped this from a 3 to a 4. The staff was extremely accomodating of my group when they didn't have to. The beers are decent, but nothing to run home and tell your parents about. The decor has more of a pub vibe instead of a unified theme like Evil Genius. It's a great local pub, but I would go only if I was in the area. PS. Please do flights!

Emma Z.

Yelp
Hidden gem whose whole is equal to more than the sum of its parts. Everything I've had here is good but the whole experience is excellent. First, the beer. Rotating draft of their interesting craft brews for around the price you'd pay for a standard macrobrew at a trendy bar. I've liked some more than others but easily a 4/5 overall. Always several styles on tap so something for all tastes. Next, the ambiance. Super cozy and chill. As other reviewers have mentioned it's located in an old house and feels sort of like you're visiting someone's home. The downstairs interior has a bar on one side and a dining room on the other; everything is wooden and rustic. This part is on the smaller side - and I haven't been upstairs - but when the weather's nice there is outdoor seating in the front of the building, too. Also whenever I've been here I've found the staff to be friendly. Finally, the food. Mostly twists on traditional American fare. For $20 we had a generous plate of chicken wings, a big bowl of vegan chili, and a large tin of bacon popcorn. The popcorn was greasy and good, the wings were alright, but the chili was sort of mild and watery for my taste. I'll probably stick to having snacks and beer. But I'll definitely be back and try to remember to bring my growler to take something home.

Yelp
Forest And Main Brewing Company is in a really nice historic house in Ambler. We went on a hot August Saturday afternoon for brunch and beer. The people working at Forest And Main were super friendly, funny and accommodating. They were able to seat us at a large table upstairs. We had a few different beers and for some of us they were just OK and slightly on the warm side. I have noticed this at Iron Hill sometimes too. Maybe when it's just that hot out, I prefer my beer ice cold. The food was fantastic. I had something called Toad in the Hole Rancheros that excellent. My friend Kelly B had the French toast with Fresh Local Berries, Pennsylvania maple syrup. She said that was very good also. Three & 1/2 stars from this Yelp reviewer and I would definitely go back if in the Ambler area again.

Gia S.

Yelp
This place is a must-go for all beer lovers. Located in an actual house, Forest & Main has a room (to the left) with a bar for enjoying a beer, and the rest of the rooms for dining at a table. We started with the Sport Coat IPA which was delicious, and Snuggle Hitch, which was also pretty good. One of the downsides was that they no longer offer flights, so we didn't get to try as much as we liked. With dinner we enjoyed their other IPA and the blonde which were also both good. For appetizers, we started with the bruchetta, which was piled high and tasted fresh (also a hint of a smokey flavor), and the hand-cut fries, which were great with the Sriracha ketchup. I had the appetizer mac and cheese for my dinner, and requested the addition of jalapeños, and they were spicy and delicious. My boyfriend really enjoyed his bacon muscles. Our service was okay. My only major complaint aside from the lack of beer flight option, is that the food was a little pricey for the small portion size.

Cassie A.

Yelp
The food I really really enjoyed. We got the bacon popcorn, mac and cheese, bean dip, and Brussels sprouts, all of which I would highly recommend. On our way to a 5 star rating... until things took a turn. My friend and I were eating dinner upstairs in a room alone, it was a cute room, we were enjoying our time, when all of a sudden we see a huge MOUSE scurry across the floor. Mouse ran back into the wall and minutes later comes out again. At this point we had just ordered full beers so we immediately leave the room and tell the servers about the situation and head downstairs to finish the rest of our beers. My disappointment comes from the way the staff handled this situation. We got a half hearted sorry from the server and absolutely nothing else. I am never one to go looking for free things but honestly, if you're in a food establishment and your guests see a mouse, I think something else should have been done. It also scares me that this mouse was just running around in the middle of a dining room. I tried not to even think about what could be happening in the kitchen..

Megan L.

Yelp
Forest and main is a really great, small, local brewery. I was there in January of 2018 for a few beers (no food but the food looked good). I sat in the little bar room and had their 2 IPAs that were on tap. Their beers are very different so if you like something a little more standard I would recommend against going here for the beer. The two IPAs that I had very earthy tastes, but I enjoyed them. The bar room feels is very cozy and has that "old, dark library" feel, which was perfect for winter. I would highly recommend this brewery and I will be returning.

Mike H.

Yelp
Very interesting brewery. I had heard a lot of this place, and was a little surprised to find out that it was inside of a residential house - or what used to be one. What I was expecting to be an industrial-sized bustling brewery turned out to be a converted Residential house. The bar was in the living room, the kitchen was in ... well, the kitchen .... and tables to sit at were dotted all around the house. We ate in one of the bedrooms. This sounds a little strange, but it was really cozy and I was digging this vibe a lot. The server was a genuinely nice guy, we had a pretty good time chatting him up about soccer and the brewery for a while - he really drove the enjoyment of this place even further. The beer was good: I tried two of their IPA-styles, Tomorrow Is Always Here, and All Former Selves. Of the two, I recommend Tomorrow if you like your beer more hoppy and bitter. The food menu was a little on the smaller side, but their offerings were maximized so that there was something for everyone. The portion sizes were huge too. I normally wouldn't fixate on specifically a bun, but the bun on my burger was one of the best buns I've had in a long time. I couldn't not emphasize that. The burger itself tasted a little dry and salty, and made it a little too much for me to finish. I had the white bean dip as well and couldn't get enough of it. Overall, I had a positive experience here. Next time I'm coming with a growler.

Diana B.

Yelp
Hands down the best brewery in Ambler, and their IPAs are becoming increasingly the best in the entire Philly area (even to Tired Hands). They also do a solid saison and English bitter, the latter usually on cask. The burger and grilled cheese are to die for, and be sure to order a side of bacon & garlic aioli for the satisfying fries. Pups allowed on the front lawn where all the picnic tables are. Now on to the new space next door. We love coming here to check out all the new brews, pick up cans, and enjoy live shows. I do wish the tables and seating were a little better - plastic fold-out tables and a few worn couches on the perimeter could be greatly improved (would love if they created a few little side nook areas of comfy chairs), but I get the need to have the flexibility for shows. They sometimes project football games, so that rocks too! Overall, F+M is my jam, the original brewpub in the house will always be near and dear to my heart, but the new space is an added bonus and welcome addition.

Jackie M.

Yelp
I was completely underwhelmed by my experience at Forest & Main. I usually a huge saison fan but I found the beers here to be a little too funky for my taste. The location is in what looks like to be an old house turned brewery. It's right at the corner of Forest and Main Streets (duh) in Ambler. It was blistering hot the day we visited but they have a ton of outdoor seating that seem like a cool place to relax. We ended up ordering lunch so I opted for the vegan chili paired with Banjo. The chili itself was super filling but the cornbread on the side was veryyyy dry and honestly bad - even mixed with the chili. The beer was just weird. I know the description says cucumber and melon but all I got was cucumber with earthy undertones. My boyfriend seemed to enjoy his burger and beer but nothing really stood out. In the bathroom they have a sign for $5 off growler fills on Sundays. Since it was a Sunday we asked about it. Apparently, this only applies to 64 oz growlers and there is no discount for 32 oz growlers. We decided that nothing was worth taking home, so we left. I probably won't be back but I am glad I got the experience of visiting.

David K.

Yelp
This place is very interesting. As you walk in, it says "welcome weirdos". Went there cause we were driving to the airport. We were there on vacation from Colorado. We had a IPA and a Stout. Nothing to rave about. They had cask beers there which was pretty cool. Learned that the owners wanted to do cask beers and Belgian beers. So it's an interesting mix. Did not eat the food. Looked good though. Brewery looks like an old house. Small bar area. Bartender only made conversation when we talked. We were the only ones in the bar. Cheers.

Jamie D.

Yelp
We really enjoyed this place. Really good beer and the food we had was excellent! I definitely recommend checking it out. They also have vegan options.

Ron H.

Yelp
What a great little find. The wait staff was very friendly and also very laid-back. The menu is seasonal, however I staple on the menu is their burger, a must have! Their beer is also solid if you are into farmhouse ales. They do not offer flights which was a bummer.

Diana X.

Yelp
Beautiful place to stop by if you're passing through. We came for the beer (didn't order food) and sat on the porch, where there were stringed outdoor lights and greenery. I can only imagine how it looks in the evening. Apparently there are regular events happening here too. The beer is incredibly cheap compared to city prices, and it's top-notch.

Carissa D.

Yelp
One of my favorite spots in Ambler! They always have fantastic beers on tap. They have a small menu so you know you're getting quality dishes that are well made. I always enjoy the Brussels sprouts appetizer. I tried the poutine for the first time and it was good. They always have great burgers/sandwiches!

Cheftan P.

Yelp
Great place with relax brewed beer culture & small plates . Relaxed chill & laid back enjoy

Lauren S.

Yelp
I don't know if it was over hyped but I've been wanted to get out to the burbs to try Frost and Main for a while now and found it to be kind of average. I really liked the old house and the decor but we got seating in a room by ourselves and it felt little awkward being so isolated from all the other patrons. The grilled cheese and fires were great really enjoyed my food but the beer was just ok. My friend and I both did samplers so we ended up trying almost all the beers on the menu and I really only liked 2 of them. I am a huge saison fan but my favorite beer ended up being the ipa and Im not super into ipa but maybe that why I liked this one it wasn't super ipay. If I was in the area I'd go back but I don't think I'd go out of my way to come here again.

Bob B.

Yelp
Very average new aged "hipster" burger and beer spot. Food is actually quite good, while the beer tries too hard to be something new and unusual. It's actually very disappointing that the staff is so unaccommodating with the beer choices and options. Finally the bar underneath and off to the side of the restaurant might be one of the more unfriendly local bars. I visit this place maybe once a year if that and definitely no more. Better options available within walking distance.

Tim K.

Yelp
Fantastic brewery. Love the new place. Great atmosphere. No food anymore, but plenty to bring in from Ambler.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Stopped by again this past Saturday night and was far from impressed. Food and Service were both subpar. I don't know what happened between my visits! Got a burger again and it was pretty bland, overcooked, and bland. Also, I recall being really overwhelmed by the serving of my fries my last visit. This visit I was really underwhelmed by the serving of fries: noticeably chincey. Another diner in my party ordered their fish and chips and it was also a paltry serving size for $17. Our server was nice enough, but it took too long for orders, drinks and food. Also, that patio furniture S U C K S. I won't carry a vendetta against F&M, but if I never go again, okay.

Pat O.

Yelp
Amazing all around! They have great portions, but even better beer to match your meal!

Katelyn G.

Yelp
Love the pub atmosphere and their hazy IPA's are always a delight! And thankfully they have 4 packs to go. They do not serve food but You can get food from any of the restaurants in Ambler to take in and enjoy with your beer.

Andrew M.

Yelp
Stopped by the other night when I was in the area and had a pretty odd experience. It happened to be trivia night so my fiancée and I opted to play a few rounds. The bartender was pleasant and we paid in cash and tipped after the first round, giving a pretty generous tip because it was a cold empty weeknight. Once we finished our drinks we left because we had somewhere else to be. By the time we were almost to our car the bartender had chased us out the door yelling and making a scene that we didn't pay. We reminded her that we paid in cash and went on our way. All very awkward, probably wouldn't come back.

Vincent M.

Yelp
I was out with some friends checking out a few breweries in the area and had someone from work recommend Forest & Main. So the location is really neat. It's an old house, rooms still generally intact, with a lot of character. It was cool that in the tasting room/bar, the floorboards had little gaps where you could see light in the basement. I can't comment on the food since we just did beer flights, but I'd like to give the menu a try. They lean towards British beers that were a little more bitter. While I don't tend to go for bitter beers, that's just my own personal preference and I wouldn't rate that against them. The overall look and feel of the place is fun and I enjoyed how it was all set up.

Kristin N.

Yelp
We had what has become a rare sunny day, so we took the opportunity to finally check it out. The building is adorable. The beers were good; I only wish that they had flights, though they are happy to provide samples. We then ventured into their building right next door, which offered additional choices not available in the main building. Hubby filled his growler and we were on our way. I'd like to go back to try the food.

Mike M.

Yelp
Forest & Main is great. They have delicious, creative beers (which is why you go) and a wide enough variety of them at any given time that pretty much all beer drinkers can be accommodated, and the food measures up to the high bar that the beers set. The food is mostly basic "American" (i.e. burgers and such, maybe on the classier end of that category), but the dishes often have just enough of a twist to be interesting without getting weird, and the kitchen staff know how to prepare things right. The best thing about Forest & Main besides the beer is the friendly ambiance that works its way through everything. It's an old house in which beer lovers started brewing beer. The interior seems to have undergone minimal changes from when it was someone's residence. The servers and bartenders seem to like being there and they operate competently without needing a script. The vibe is unusually natural, like some guy down the block invited the neighborhood to stop in for a good dinner and good drinks. Forest & Main is definitely worth checking out.

Yelp
Absolutely my new favorite place. After one visit I'm hooked. From the initial phone call to make a reservation, from our greeting and excellent seating upon arrival, to our patient-attentive-non obtrusive-rad server, to plate after plate of top notch food, and glass after glass of great beers, I am looking forward to our follow up visit and every visit after that.

Yelp
Although I'm not an IPA Fan, I had to have 16 oz of the Kinch 7% - India pale ale. Just exactly as advertised: Full of hop flavor & aroma without being aggressively bitter. Sadly, this maxed out today's calorie count. The wonderful wait-staff were kind enough to take a few photos for me, so I imagine they'd be terrific, and the dishes being served around me on the front porch looked so good I almost shed a tear.

Yelp
Great beers, clean, but homey atmosphere. It's a great little stop in Ambler, and the prices are reasonable as well! Try their cask beers, they are basically nitro served room temperature, which brings out different notes in the beers, def worth trying!

Yelp
I saw this restaurant on yelp had decently good reviews with tasty looking pictures so of course I had to give it a try. We showed up at around 4:15pm on a Saturday and unfortunately the kitchen was not open yet. We were told it was going to open at 4:30. No biggie! We decided to walk around town until then. We showed back up at 4:45 to find out that the kitchen was still closed. Since it was not opening until 5pm, we decided to order some drinks while we waited. I ordered the cider which was super tasty! The apple flavoring was not as present as normal ciders but it was still good. The environment is really neat! The restaurant and bar are inside an older home which gives it a cool vibe. We decided to sit outside which was a bad choice since we were seated at a very small table next to plants that were decaying and smelled kind of bad.. yuck. When it was finally time to order we got the bacon popcorn, mac and cheese and the grilled cheese. Was extremely disappointed with the two dishes. The popcorn was super unique and very delicious. The bacon added that salty component that makes for perfect popcorn. The mac and cheese and grilled cheese on the other hand were gross. Grilled cheese was burnt and the bread to cheese ratio was completely off. The mac and cheese tasted like butter and hardly had any cheese on it. Looked nothing like the pictures I saw on yelp... what the heck! I was really disappointed! The service was very quick and our waitress was super nice! I was anticipating this place to be way better than it actually was. I'd be interested in trying to eat here again but I am definitely not in any rush to go back.
