I met with Joe and Adam for a last minute tour. Having been in the CNC business for 6 years, it is great to finally meet locals who are enthusiastic about making and projects. Their tour consisted of checking out all their equipment (Hundred's of thousands of dollars worth) and a thorough explanation of how their maker shop worked. For the nominal price that they charge for a monthly membership, you get access to hundreds of tools and even more valuable, the knowledge of the other makers. I look forward to starting my membership and making some great things!

This maker space is a Greensboro treasure! I've been a member for a year now and have been extremely impressed with how well run the space is, especially during the pandemic. The Forge provides a community for creative people, classes, tools, and is welcoming to all projects big and small!

The Forge is the place to be for anyone that has a maker spirit. Everyone that I have met here are friendly and helpful. The place is well equipped for almost any project. They have a Wood and Metal shop. Multiple 3D printers and laser engraver as well as a fully featured electronics lab. It is a great place to be a part of.

Joe and his team have created an amazing maker space in downtown Greensboro. They have so many tools, work stations and capabilities that you will be amazed as what is made there. If you can dream it, they likely have access to the equipment and skills to help you create it.

I love this makespace. They are always adding stuff and the people I have met here are more than friendly. It's nice to meet like minded people and talk about projects and hobbies. There is an opportunity to learn new things here and to take some introductory courses on things like carpentry and metalworks. Would recommend.

The Forge is a makerspace that give the average person access to amazing tools and talent...3D Printers, electronics, laser engraver, metal shop, wood shop etc. If you are looking for a place that not only have tools, but people willing to teach you then this is a spot for you. I personally use the space to help run an etsy store and the membership is well worth it.

Located in a cool part of downtown Greensboro - the maker space has a lot of floor space with the all the easential kit: metal working, wood working, textiles, pottery and dozens of 3d printers. Also ample space for classes and raw materials.

The future of our local economy is within these walls. Thay was years ago. Now it seems that they are more interested in enforcing the rules then they are in recruiting new members and creating an atmosphere of excitement and Innovations. Sort of reminds me of a community college.
