Forgotten barrel is definitely the place to get married at. Chris and Alyssa made our experience perfect! They have the best vendors and the most romantic venue. If you are looking for something rustic dark but also beautiful this is the place. Has the best places for photos Thank you for the best wedding venue we could ask for

I recently visited Forgotten Barrel and was disappointed with the service I received. While the ambiance and wine selection were quite good, my experience was overshadowed by an issue with the billing. After enjoying a bottle of Sangiovese on site, I purchased a bottle of Chardonnay to take home. Upon receiving my bill, I noticed that a tip had been added without my consent. I believe that tipping should be a voluntary gesture of appreciation, based on the quality of service provided. When I brought this to the staff's attention, I was met with indifference and a lack of concern for my situation. Rather than addressing my concerns and ensuring I felt valued as a customer, they seemed more interested in deflecting blame. I had hoped for a more customer-friendly approach that would make me want to return in the future. Unfortunately, the handling of this situation has left me hesitant to visit again. I hope forgotten barrel considers this feedback and makes improvements to their customer service approach, as the quality of wine deserves a better overall experience.

What a gem! You would never expect such an amazing winery in the suburbs of Escondido. We had my mother’s 98th birthday here and I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect setting. The owners were gracious and the experience divine! I highly recommend this beautiful and peaceful setting for your next winery adventure. The music was an added pleasure. 🌟

Google
It's like a small version of Bernardo winery with a traditional village theme. I recommend their chardonnay as it has the woody flavor

Love this little winery. They have a great selection of wines, including sparkling. The layout and outdoor seeing is fantastic, the fire pit is a nice touch. The staff is always helpful and friendly as well.

Forgotten Barrel is the perfect place to have small but absolutely beautiful wedding. Its tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but once you see it in person its just stunning. Everyone there helped make out day so perfect. The reception hall is breathtaking just as is. All the small details made it so much easier for us to fall in love with it. So thankful we were able to spend our day there with all our friends and family.

First time here and it’s super cute spot. Got there an hour or so before it closed and we enjoyed the live music. Wish we got there earlier. Fire pit is a plus. Can’t wait to go back. Hidden gem.

Yelp
My daughter had her wedding here. I can't even express how amazing and perfect it turned out. Not one thing went wrong. It was beautiful. I keep getting texts from people telling me it was the best wedding with the best food that they've ever been to. My husband just told me that he doesn't even need to look at any photos because the memories are enough.

Yelp
First, Alyssa and Chris were great. Alyssa is so helpful, patient and kind. She really helped me a lot with an overwhelming celebration. The place is just gorgeous. I am so happy I found it. I just can't say enough good things about the place and my experience. I also found they have entertainment there and open to the public on certain days to hang with friends and have some great wine! My favorite is their Mayhem.

Yelp
Hidden in Escondido, a great little winery. Good selection of wine, live music on Saturdays. Good vibes. The owners are so friendly and it was nice talking to them. It could benefit from having some food: bread and small charcuteries - it would make wine tasting better and definitely help.

Yelp
This place exceeds expectations for wineries in Southern California. It's in Escondido for God's Sake! They manage to circumvent the limits of growing grapes in this region by sourcing great fruit from other appellations like Napa Valley, Paso Robles, Sonoma, Santa Rita Hills, and elsewhere in San Diego county. The wines are really lovely and the staff that we've met are knowledgeable and very friendly (Linda, I think). On the day we went, they also had live music that was a super talented band. A terrific day out. Our favorites were the Reserve Syrah, the Brut Rose', and the Cabernet Sauvignon. Lots of seating in the shade and a pretty place to spend a couple of hours.

Yelp
This is a family fave. It's such a hidden gem in the center city neighborhood of Escondido. Family owned and operated, we always have wonderful welcoming and knowledgeable service. Beautiful tasting room and event space. Truly a hidden gem in such an unexpected area. My family are members here and they offer tastings or glasses a couple of times a month. Their wine is delicious and they offer snacks to purchase. My personal favorite is the area 5150 blend.

Yelp
Such a great place to gather with friends and share a bottle of wine. The atmosphere is laid back, the grounds are spacious and lovely. There is often live music on the weekends, and the occasional chef-led brunches are fun and flavorful. When the weather is iffy, you can hunker down in the beautiful barn, which is also used for events.

Yelp
I went there for their seven year anniversary with some friends and my husband and the wine is really very good. The whole day was awesome. There was a live band and a pizza truck dropouts pizza. The pizza was awesome. Everyone we came in contact with that worked there, we're so personable and friendly. It was an amazing time. I recommend this place and my husband and I and our friends plan on going back often.

Yelp
Super cute space. Wines were yummy, everyone was really nice. Lucky to go on a sunny day with love music. Unexpected gem in Escondido.

Yelp
We had an amazing time here for our work Xmas party! They also have beer here too which was nice for the ones not really feeling the wine but there for the party. The only thing I wish the venue would have provided or suggested is things to help keep the food warmer for a longer period of time. I'm pretty mg bougie boss would have paid for it for the party he would have been willing to spend the extra money for that. Who knows maybe he didn't think of that. It's super rustic here and the wine was great! After the party later at work a coworker said there was wine tasting and that's something that should have been marketed better and made known to guests because I seen a little room but it looked like they were just selling bottles in there. We had a great time and it was kinda cold in the shed.

Yelp
Beautiful and charming and cozy and lovely. Went last night for the first time tagging along with a friend who told me there is as a free opera concert (freebie, yes!) And we should go. Located in a residential neighborhood I would have never guess or think about going there if it wasn't for this invitation. This used to be the Ferrara winery dating back late 1800s and now under new owners and with a modern twist without losing the old trees (very old ones, the stories they can tell!) And the mural depicting some fun character. I liked everything, every corner of this small winery and with the music and the summer orange and cloudy skies, what a jewel.

Yelp
We really enjoy coming to The Forgotten Barrel. It's a nice place to hang out and relax with some good wine. They often have live entertainment and food trucks. I do wish they had more of a selection for food choices since you can't bring in outside food. The sangria is delicious and you can't go wrong with good wine.

Yelp
We absolutely loved hosting our wedding at Forgotten Barrel. The venue was perfect for our group size (88). The space was just right for our ceremony, cocktail hour, dancing, games, photo booth and a warm & cozy atmosphere. We chose Forgotten Barrel because we wanted to have very specific food. Most venues have preferred vendor lists and are very rigid. We were able to hire the caterers we wanted to meet our cultural needs. Forgotten Barrel even introduced us to one of the vendors we used. We also enjoyed the winery's package that included dessert, DJ, and the bar. Having that already lined up, helped us. All the vendors that came through the venue were absolutely amazing! Alyssa, Venue Coordinator, helped us in every step of the way. We had a lot of questions and she patiently helped us with everything she could. We had a challenging theme, sustainability, but Forgotten Barrel did everything to help us reduce waste. At first we were uncertain if the winery was going to photograph well, but our pictures were absolutely fantastic. All the different locations available at the winery made for fabulous photos. We were so happy with how everything turned out. Alyssa, the Forgotten Barrel team, and all their vendors made the day extra special for us. We were very glad to have them by our side.

Yelp
This lovely winery is a hidden gem, tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood in Escondido, they have several excellent wines to choose from. The service was good and they were very attentive, I really enjoyed the 5150 Cabernet and the dessert port. We also paired our wine with a nice Mediterranean charcuterie board that was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
Hey, Incase no one noticed but we are in a Pandemic. Yet, we need to get out for small social interaction, life enrichment and fresh air. This particular Saturday was World Mental Health Day, and yes, this applies to all of us. Forgotten Barrel came to mind as a local urban winery. They were only open for pick up for six hours out of the week and just opened up at reduced capacity on their quaint yet broad property. One can make a reservation for a table for $40 and the monies are applied to any bottle, glass or food purchases from the tasting room. When I worked in in wine education, sales and events for a local vineyard and winery we would taste at places at no cost. We came here when Ferrar Winery was in this residential neighborhood, it was strange and funny being in a residential neighborhood. But with a completely revamped plan, the Forgotten Barrel is a perfect wedding site, with lawn for ceremony, barn for reception. There is also ample outdoor space for workshops and events of all sorts in a covered space. And plenty of spaces on weekends to lounge for all. There are Adirondack chairs, tables that hold your wine glasses in slots spread around the property and perfect for 6 ft distancing. I first enjoyed their Pinot Noir at the New Village Arts Center in Carlsbad at a play. They source their grapes from the best places in the state. The soil where certain varietals grow matter. We came to celebrate World Mental Health Day and had to go with the area 5150 to celebrate life. We had to order a charcuterie, as this power combo is so fulfilling. Then a bottle to take home when the mood moves us. The service here is solid, the wine is some of our favorite for a San Diego winery and the grounds offer opportunity to explore some history. Did I mention, it is also dog friendly. Our wine server brought our fur babe water. There were about seven other parties enjoying the day. We are so happy that Forgotten Barrel is almost in our back yard and plan to spend more time with them, Pandemic or Not! Thanks for a perfect day out, I encourage adding small workshops on weekdays here too. There is so much potential. #Escondido #UrbanWinery #ForgottenBarrel #EventCenter #Area5150RedWine

Yelp
We had our wedding here on 9/10/22. We were so, so happy with how it turned out! Our guests loved the venue as well :). It felt so "us," and FB was so kind to us. There were so many special touches: -When we first arrived to start getting ready, they played our "first dance" song :) -They gave me a glass of sparkling wine to drink while I got dressed -They made everything super clear and calmed my nerves -They had a firm rain plan in place, though we didn't end up needing it -Everything was sparkling clean -The other vendors they recommended were impeccable -They were laid-back and flexible with the flow of the event -The barrel room, where we had our reception itself, was gorgeously lit and inviting And their wine, of course, is wonderful. We joined their wine club so we can return, bring friends, and re-live the day for years to come :). Thank you so much, FB, for the most loving and memorable day of our relationship!

Yelp
Truly lovely property! This hidden gem is quite literally in the middle of a neighborhood. I never even knew they were there. I wish more of these boutique wineries would pop up, as they add an exquisite and refined complement to any area. This property is awesome. Many seating areas to choose from whether you prefer a little privacy or like to gather with others. So many options. The decor is terrific. I only tried 1 of their wines. It was a Napa cab. It sounds like maybe they source grapes from other areas but do the remainder of the "harvesting" in-house? Not sure. Most of the wines I drink at home are Napa wines. Forgotten Barrel Napa cab was good, but not enough for me to warrant purchasing a bottle. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive. I reckon that they do not permit outside food and beverage so it was nice to see that they have snacks there for purchase. Also saw a lot of "well-behaved" leashed dogs there with their doggie-parents so that's a wonderful privilege they've given patrons. Great event property. Gets busy quick! Support local!

Yelp
Unsure why my previous review was deleted or if it was even posted :( (LOL) ANYWAYS, I got married here on 04/22/2021. It was everything I've dreamed of and MUCH MORE. Everyone made my wedding special and very memorable. From the planning stages up until the end of the event. Amy, Dee, and the rest of the staff, THANK YOU. The place is BEAUTIFUL and definitely a hidden gem. It will always hold a special place in my heart and will revisit often because their sangrias and wine are so good! Yelp
Forgotten Barrel Winery will forever hold a special place in my heart. Amy, Deedee (I hope I'm spelling that correctly), and the rest of the staff made our wedding a truly special event. I cannot thank them enough for of the hard work they put into that day. Amy is exactly who you want to work with when it comes to your big day. She's prompt, communicative, knowledgeable, and just a pleasant person to be around. Deedee helped make the night of our wedding go so smoothly. She doted on my grandparents in the sweetest way. There was also a bartender whose name I didn't catch. She was so nice, and I really appreciated her help. This is long, but a venue is only as good as the people. Forgotten Barrel is a beautiful location ideal for a couple who wants their venue to exude romantic elegance, but it was the people that made us fall in love all over again.

Yelp
This is a cute little winery in the Escondido neighborhood. Loved sitting outside and enjoying a glass of wine with some live music. I love a crisp Viognier.

Yelp
I went with the family this weekend for the first time (and I live less than 5 miles from it and never knew). I'm so happy I found this spot. The winery is a great spot to relax and enjoy some delicious wines. I tried some of the reds and enjoyed them very much. We also had the sangria which was perfect for the warm day. We also ordered some meats and cheeses. Very cool spot right in the heart of Escondido. I will be coming back many times. The service is wonderful...clean spot with a very relaxing atmosphere. If you like wine this is a must try. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
My husband & I are big wine drinkers. Having lived within close proximity to wine country for many years we were hoping to find something special on smaller scale when we moved to San Diego County. We found that in Forgotten Barrel. They source their grapes from various regions throughout California including locally. Unique & rustic site, extremely knowledgeable staff and great wine.

Yelp
RECOMMENDED FOR: ~Escondido Locals ~Escondido Visitors ~Wine Lovers ~History Buffs Forgotten Barrel is located at the historic Ferrara Winery in a residential area in Escondido. Ferrara was in our town for many years and a piece of history so it was a sad day when they did close. However now Forgotten Barrel has brought the winery back to life. They are making many wines with sourced grapes and they have grapes growing on site that should be ready to use in about two years. The property is gorgeous. Its got a lot of old things lying around, but its really a lovely place with multiple locations onsite that can be used for private events. The tasting room is small, but worked well on the Saturday afternoon we visited. There were about five parties experiencing tastings. Two of our party of four did the standard tasting and two of us did the Red tasting. Most of the wines were terrific with lovely flavors. I got the luxury of also tasting the whites that my husband had in his standard tasting. My favorite tasting hands down was the port. I'm not even a port person or a sweet wine person, but the Papadude Port Style dessert wine was ridiculously rich, velvety and tasty, especially along with the chocolate they made available. I cannot explain how great it was except to say that I don't eat chocolate or sweet wines and I was in love with this stuff! I also enjoyed both of the Chardonnays, the '12 Carneros was bright and fresh, reminiscent of apples and the '13 Atlas Peak was creamy and interesting. I also enjoyed the '13 Carneros Pino Noir and the '13 Alexander Cabernet Sauvignon. Some of the others were various levels of good or not so much. I'm not a great wine connoisseur - I'm more of a whiskey or beer girl, but I know what I like and what I don't! I had a really nice time. I love that its almost walking distance to my house. I did not join their wine club, but I might... I'm still thinking about it. Definitely recommend. GO.

Yelp
This place is very charming, quiet, with a very good service. Good for a date, meeting with friends or gatherings if you reserve the space. They have live music on Saturdays. Their wine is delicious! They also make their own cranberry sangria

Elisa S.

Yelp
We were not aware you can't bring in your own food. I understand that rule if you sell food, but they don't. I don't consider a limited amount of crackers, food. More of a snack. We had wanted to eat our lunch & enjoy some wine. Very disappointed, we left.

Yelp

Yelp
What a beautiful location for events and overall celebration of life! It's a little wine oasis in historic Escondido with the friendliest of team! If you get to see Kaylan during your time there, you're in for a treat! Don't forget to pair Sweetduet Chocolate apricot or dates with your wine! Support your small local businesses! Can't wait until they can bring in people again!

Yelp
I visited this winery because The Vulcan Mountain Boys played there. I thought my GPS was lying to me as I was driving through the neighborhood . As it turned out my GPS was correct. I found this to be a beautiful winery. Since I was the designated driver I felt it unwise to sample the wines. I considered taking a bottle to go but was not comfortable with the prices. So I can't comment on the wines. The kept the place clean and well maintained. It had several seating areas. One thing I really appreciated was they had old trees on the property. Some they could have cut down , but did not. In one9 case they built a fence through the tree. I thought this was an excellent idea. They sold sodas and crackers in addition to wines. They had a nice spacious shady seating area to listen to the music . The restroom wall formed a nice background for the stage. I enjoyed walking around taking in the sites of grapevines farm implements and such. It looked to me as a nice place to have a wedding, a reception or possibly even a Celebration of Life.

Yelp
This is a beautiful winery w/lots of ambiance and many quaint areas to sit it. A nice, older gentleman came out to greet us and see how we were doing, presumably the owner. This winery is tucked in a neighborhood and is well situated w/plenty of parking and what appears to be a brunch that draws a nice crowd. The wines we tried were good, I would go back BUT........the staff behind the bar in the tasting room were employees that didn't have any energy or enthusiasm. I go wine tasting for the experience. I want to know about the grapes that comprise the flavors. I got little education or enthusiasm for being there. The gal washing glassware was even more unenthusiastic. If your in a retail type job, it's always best to greet customers and periodically chk in in them. We were given our btls and glasses, (2 btls) and not one time did anyone offer to pour them while we sat indoors at the bar. There were 3 of us but only 2 barstools inside. This really is a beautiful winery w/alot of potential. If you're independent and prefer not to be doted on, then this is your place.
google avatar

Yelp
Can I just say that I think this is the best winery in SD county? If you want to taste great wine with friendly, knowledgeable staff, this is the place. I have been looking for something local that offers the quality and accessibility of Sonoma and Paso Robles. I appreciate that the servers have a decent knowledge of wine and take time to learn about what you are interested in. The wines are priced well- many are available in the $20-30 range so you won't break the bank. It's so refreshing to literally have this gem in our backyard and it's not a party bus destination like Temecula.

Yelp
Good winery used to be the old Ferrara winery. Was on the news tonight! They have entertainment on the weekends sounds goods .

Yelp
This was such a cute winery with an amazing room you can rent for special events. We went on a Sunday afternoon and there was an acoustic guitarist/singer who was great. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed the wine tasting.

Yelp
Truly appreciated being able to pull up and have my order placed right into my car to take back to the pool and enjoy while keeping cool. It was SO good, I have since purchased more as gifts for friends home on quarantine. Forgotten Barrel staff is knowledgeable, and friendly and working so hard to keep their delicious wines available!
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful and quaint right in the middle of Escondido with a history back to the 1890's. Really great wines sourced from many regions. Very smooth tasting and the setting is comfortable and pleasant. They also have weddings hosted onsite and overall it a great respite from driving to other local areas, when this is so close and enjoyable.

Yelp
We just visited this winery for the first time as guests of a wedding. What a great venue!! It is perfect for an intimate ceremony and the wedding coordinator and staff were FANTASTIC! Professional, kind, and if I was planning a wedding or event I would love to work with this venue. It is still COVID... and they did a great job maintaining the safe guidelines for everyone. Plus, the wine is delicious!! We will will plan a future trip here.

Kaai L.

Yelp
This was a great alternative to the larger wineries in the greater San Diego area. Personable and knowledgeable staff full of history and wine knowledge. Great selection of wines, suitable for every palate. Not to mention, probably the cleanest bathrooms in town. Don't forget to try a glass of their house made sangria while walking the property. A quaint little vineyard that will not disappoint! Give them a try! You will not regret the experience!

Yelp
Forgotten Barrel has a great thing going on here in Escondido. The winery has a great combination of being "hidden" in a suburban area, but still having a country feel and layout. There is plenty of outside seating, even a small grassy area for the kids to play. The staff was helpful and friendly (as were the wine club members that happened to also be visiting at the same time as our party) and the wine was great to boot. I look forward soon to try the rest of their wines, but I gotta say, the "sweet reds" such as the 5150 and the Papadu were standouts and worth returning for on their own. Cheers!

Ernesto C.

Yelp
Keep This Barrel Forgotten. I'd be fair and give them one star, when in reality I want to give them zero stars. The staff here are rude and a gentlemen who worked here was trying to act intimidating when he accused us of breaking a rule when we were taking a family photo, rather than talk to us like normal people and try to diffuse the situation, he tried to act like we owed him everything. Honestly, don't know how this place is still running with how their staff treats its guests; they should really keep this barrel forgotten. Never coming again or hosting any events here again. Will be writing an extensive review in Travel San Diego, so keep an eye out on that. In general, I'm sad that my sisters wedding day was a bust.
google avatar

Nino K.

Yelp
One of the must visit places if you are anywhere in North County of San Diego. There is so much history behind it. Do yourself a favor and try their wine and browse around. It is a beautiful place to spend time with your friends and family. I'm forever hooked to their Cinsaut.

Yelp
WINE TASTING: I love the overall vibe of this hidden gem. The stillness and overall feel of the winery just makes it perfect. I loved sipping wine and hearing the birds chip with the quiet and fresh feeling you get while doing so. The wine was great and my favorite is Rosalita. VENUE: I booked this venue without seeing it in person (due to covid) and I am so so glad I did. Everything was perfect and the staff was great! I got to work with mostly Amy during the planning stages and she was perfect! Day of - Dee Dee was great and she helped us out a lot! Everyone was AMAZING and I am so sad its done :( I want to relive it again and again! (LOL) The drinks were amazing. I received a lot of compliments. We had Blackberry Lavender and Mango Citrus Sangrias. So GOOD! The overall vibe of the day was perfect and everything we've wanted. BARRELL ROOM IS DREAMY!
google avatar

Alex B.

Yelp
Kaylan made this trip 100%. He was so incredibly knowledgeable and personable. I will definitely be back! Aside from that, the wines were great. I definitely recommend the cinsaut. Buy a bottle of that! So unique! Prices are very fair. Also, the ambiance was great. I loved the live music. Highly recommend!

Yelp
I just recently found this winery. It is tucked away in a residential neighborhood in Escondido. Their wine is great and the staff is friendly and accommodating. They often have live music. There are many little areas to sit with friends or family and enjoy the day. I appreciate that they allow children, most wineries don't. Although there is no view they make up for it in the relaxing vintage ambience they have.

Mark S.

Yelp
I would like to share with you a little about a wonderful experience we had at Forgotten Barrel Winery on May 6th 2022. Our family put on a wedding at this unique and charming winery on this magical day. The staff were all outstanding and went out of their way in great detail to help us plan and put on the perfect wedding. The historic grounds are just right for a small to medium size wedding and we felt welcomed at every step of the way. Forgotten Barrel helped us pair with ChefJoann Catering which was also really amazing! 15-20 wedding guests came up to us afterwards and said that this was the best wedding that they ever attended! Thank you Forgotten Barrel Winery!

Yelp
We never went inside so I'm not quite sure how to rate this place. Google maps took us through an ok working class neighborhood to get to the winery. From the outside it looks very cute, but there was only two cars in their lot. The hubs didn't feel comfortable so he decided we needed to go somewhere else for wine tasting. On our way out we took a different route. We passed many homes with chain link fencing and sheets or blankets covering their windows. It was a super weird feeling, a little out of a sci-if movie. We passed a trailer park and some interesting characters who tried to assert their dominance via intimidating glares which only reinforced our decision to go elsewhere. Someday I'd love to go back and actually check out their tasting room but I think it's going to have to be without the over protective husband.
google avatar

Robert J.

Yelp
So excited to be back at the Ferrara winery! The Forgotten barrel took over in 2016, and just re-opened it! This is a very small-scale wine place in a local, residential area. I would say it seems like your relatively typical urban Escondido winery so far. Can't wait to try out all their wines! The wine club averages about $40 every 2 months.if you sign up for the club, you get free tastings, of course. I live super close, can't wait until they really get going!
google avatar

Kristle M.

Yelp
It's here, hooray! We've been eagerly waiting for Forgotten Barrel to open. Yesterday we walked over and had a great time. We were greeted by Lauren and Greg, who were both very friendly. I learned so much about the Forgotten Barrel and all the people and work that's gone into the winery. Learning+ great conversations+ wine= :) The wines that stood out to us were the viognier, cab franc, cab sauv, 6.1 and Lot #5150. Hubby also liked a chardonnay. They offer plenty of varieties that I'm sure anyone can find something to enjoy. I love how they incorporated items from the old winery as part of their decor. There is also plenty of outdoor seating. Plus dogs and picnics are welcome!
google avatar

Brianne S.

Yelp
I wish I could give Forgotten Barrel a billion stars. I don't even know where to begin. When my husband and I's original wedding venue cancelled on us in January due to the uncertainty of COVID, we were left scouring for a new venue less than 4 months before our wedding. A family friend recommended Forgotten Barrel and we were able to get ahold of them, tour the venue, and book it within a matter of a few days. This venue was an absolute dream come true for our wedding and made our lives so easy when it came to replanting our big day. Not to mention, they take COVID safety very seriously, which was of the utmost importance to us. We were able adhere to strict safety protocol while also having the best day of our lives. Our photographer was blown away at the backdrops available to us for photos. The vineyard is a perfect place for bridal party photos and gives such a nice rustic feel. I have to give a shout-out to Amy, who was there to answer any and all questions and make sure that everything was run smoothly and set up exactly the way we planned. Our guests and vendors all commented on, not only, the beauty of the venue, but also the professionalism and organization of the staff. I cannot recommend them enough! If you're looking for a wedding venue, I highly HIGHLY recommend you contact them!

Yelp
The wine is great -- especially the red....Mayhem! BUT we had a large pre-wedding dinner for 70 people in the Barrell Room and it was a spectacular venue and experience (for me in planning and for our guests). Alyssa (from the winery) and our caterer (Redtail who recommended this location) -- put together a perfect event. The location is fabulous, the Barrell Room and surrounding outside areas are just wonderful -- casual, rustic (in a good way), comfortable and perfect for an evening event. Their rental fees are VERY reasonable and much less than others in the area. And they also have ample parking, good areas for caterers to prep and serve, clean/nice quality restrooms and everything else you would want for a successful venue.
