"Fork and Dagger Eatery, a 30-seat diner just a couple of blocks from Forsyth Park, has a distinct lack of pretension. Influences from New York City, Cuba, and the South combine into a comforting brunch menu that’s hard to beat. A firm favorite is the delectable Pig and Grits, home-made slow-cooked pork with creamy cheese grits topped with a perfect fried egg. The bagels are flown in from the Bronx, and the French toast drips with melted butter and maple syrup." - Paul Oswell

Really good food served fast and fresh. I highly recommend the pulled pork over grits and iced coffee. We couldn’t believe how good the prices were considering the quality and portions, especially when you compare it to other restaurants in the area. We also loved the art they had on their walls. Keep your eyes peeled for their sign because we almost accidentally walked past the restaurant.

Really good egg, sausage and think cut apple bacon bowl. Very friendly staff. The home fries were a little aldente for my taste but the seasoning was delicious and the Cuban coffee was very good.

Pork and grits, and ice coffee were great! There'll be a bit of a wait to get your order but if not in a rush, worth it. Very friendly staff, casual setting.

The cutest lil place! They have so many options as well as like 30 (?!?!amazing!) cheesecake flavors to order from if you ever need a cheesecake. The staff is so sweet and the food’s delicious. Definitely swing by

What a great little spot! Top three things I loved; First, all the sandwiches we got were fantastic, very flavorful, healthy portions, and they clearly care about the quality of their bread. Second, the staff (I think there o owner) was very accommodating and courteous, and even gave us some sliced mint watermelon on the house to help hold over over crazy little toddler Third, they double as a little art gallery for a local artist. We liked the art enough to get a piece (something we rarely do). Reasonably priced and made for a more interesting atmosphere even if you aren't purchasing. Overall, I'd highly recommend. It would make for a great afternoon in the park. The only negative thing I can say is that the street it is on felt a little sketchy. It was my first time in the city so it could have been my imagination. I wouldn't even hesitate to go there again though.

Yankee here! Ordered cheesy grits w bacon and fried eggs on top. Delicious! (First timer with the grits!) Cuban Coffee was super sweet and tasty... and for some reason, only $2, which was very perplexing coming from NJ. My only complaint is that there's no restroom inside the restaurant and instead you need to use the restroom in the downstairs lobby of the apartment building behind the dining room.

The best food experience of this Savannah trip. It's small but NOT cramped. Its clean and inviting. The decor is enjoyable. I had the "pig in grits". AMAZING. Portion size perfect. Warm and friendly staff treated us very well. I will eat here again the next time I'm in Town.

Fork and dagger was a delicious place to get a quick bite for breakfast. It's right near SCAD and Forsyth Park, and I got a bagel with lox which was delicious but I hear very good things about the Cuban sandwiches.
