"When people visit friends or family in Boise, they end up at Fork. A sister restaurant to Alavita, also located in the Boise City National Bank building, Fork’s menu is wide-ranging and offers locally sourced fare sure to please everyone. Fork checks all the boxes: tacos, asparagus fries, burgers, buttermilk fried chicken and waffles, and a weekend special of slow-roasted prime rib." - Scott Ki, Scott Wink

I tried the braised beef with a house salad. It was very good, not great. Quality salads, mixed greens. We also had trout, again very good. Also, salad with smoked salmon, very good and the roasted chicken was better than I expected. The outside seating was perfect. Service was good, waiter not much personality.

Stopped in for lunch at The Fork and had a fantastic experience. We started with the grilled cheese and tomato bisque appetizer—super comforting, perfectly crispy, and great for sharing. For my main, I went with the smash burger, and it absolutely delivered—juicy, flavorful, and satisfying. It was a little on the salty side, but honestly so good that I think it should be a permanent menu item. The atmosphere is one of my favorite things about The Fork: set right in the heart of downtown Boise with gorgeous flowers surrounding the patio. We grabbed an outdoor table, which was perfect for a sunny afternoon, but the interior is just as impressive—housed in an old bank, with a cool lounge downstairs where you can actually sit in the vault. Our server, Ramon, was AWESOME. Super polite and attentive, making sure we were comfortable and keeping our water glasses full (which was much appreciated on a hot day). Overall, The Fork is a top-notch lunch spot—delicious food, excellent service, and a setting that always feels a little bit special.

Wow, 5 stars all around. My team and I came here after a conference. We are all from out of town looking for gluten-free options with good sourced ingredients, especially the protein. 6 of us and my toddler. Most of us ordered the prime rib sandwich with a gluten-free bun with tomato soup. I haven't enjoyed a meal like that in a long time. The food was spectacular. We celebrated our boss' birthday and ordered the brownie with ice cream, also very delicious. Our server, Kelly, was phenomenal. We had some modifications to our order, she didn't seem bothered by it. Our food was prepared how we requested. She played with my daughter and was very sweet towards her and didn't seem bothered that she was playing on the floor in a main walkway by our table. We sat outside, it was clean, and the music was the right volume and style. Overall, it was a great experience and affordable. Keep up the great work!!!

Great place to eat! Menu items are on the eccentric side, but we ordered burgers and came back a 2nd day to eat another! (Sunday of Memorial Day weekend had a 30 min wait, Monday there was no wait.) The staff is incredibly friendly and the place is very clean. The building is also a massive piece of history as the old Boise City National Bank. Highly recommend visiting in the evenings Tues-Sat to visit their downstairs lounge where the old vault still sits! They turned it into part of the lounge, and the safe is now the wine bar. If you have kids, they can still look through the window! Very cool.

A Boise staple! The Fork is a destination I’ve been trying to get to for some time. It’s a medium to upper scale restaurant with a nice intimate atmosphere. The staff were nice, but the dress code didn’t seem to fit the place. Not something I care about, but others might! The food was a solid B+. Nothing to scoff at, but not bad by any means. The steak didn’t blow me away and the shrimp weren’t life changing. The dessert however was one of the best I ever had. It was butter cake with a fruit drizzle and it was so rich and soft. Overall the show stopper of the whole night. They had a nice bar area and plenty of places to sit from booths, to high-tops and normal tables. Overall a good experience, but for the money it may be worth it to try somewhere a little more interesting. a safe pick for a date night, but not somewhere you’d take your friends to blow them away. PS. They did let us bring our bottle for a corking fee of $20. Super standard!

I was in Boise on a work trip and we ended up at Fork for dinner on a Saturday night. We did not have a reservation but were able to be sat right away at the bar/island area. Our server was quick to take our order and was very attentive. I was not very hungry so I just got fries and a Diet Coke, but let me tell to, these fries were amazing. The rosemary was such a lovely touch. I would love to come back for the asparagus fries because they looked amazing. The atmosphere is a step up from casual but still relaxed. Fair prices.

Fork was fine dining on a farm to table vibe. Waitress was super helpful and ready to serve as well and be charming and playful. She was knowledgeable with menu in both food and drink. Everyone loved their meal. All I had was water, which may look like beer because of the light behind glass.

Valentines dinner was a hit! The food and drinks were amazing! Best prime rib, and steak! Appetizers were on point, and the chips and onion dip kind of scared me because i thought the onion may be overpowering. You know, I may wanna make out later, but it wasn't at all! Our server Megan W was a cool chic, and it made it even better! Hats off to the cooks that night! Sorry for the dim lighting, I didn't want to use the flash. I'm annoying enough taking pictures lol!
