FORM Hotel Dubai, a member of Design Hotels™

The stay at FORM Hotel Dubai started on a very positive note thanks to Jandil, who checked me in with genuine care and professionalism. I was making a quick stopover here after arrival from Copenhagen on Emirates so it was a very short stay. The rooms are impressive for the price point, striking a balance between comfort and value that makes the experience feel well above expectations. Security, bellmen, and other members of the team showed the same level of attentiveness, which added to the overall sense of hospitality throughout the hotel. The one weak spot came during breakfast service, where two female staff members working around 9:20 AM seemed disengaged, offering no greeting or welcoming attitude. This stood out because the rest of the team had been excellent. Despite that, the quality of the rooms, the friendliness of the majority of staff, and the value for money make this a hotel I would return to without hesitation.

We stayed at Form Hotel at the start of September for my partner’s birthday. We wanted a simple base to sleep, but sadly left quite disappointed.||The location is near a metro, but the hotel feels isolated and is surrounded by construction. From the front you can definitely hear the noise, and the rooms are not soundproof – we were woken several times by neighbours.||The rooms themselves were the highlight. Clean, modern and well maintained (though the shower needs a deeper scrub and the fridge wasn’t cold enough). Housekeeping did a great job.||Breakfast was the same every day, and the half-board menu was very limited (burgers, sandwiches or pasta). We only ate there once and both felt unwell the next day. I wish the menu had been advertised in advance, as I wouldn’t have paid for half-board.||The pool area was another big letdown. It’s advertised as 25m, but it’s nowhere near that. The water was cloudy, the sides dirty, and no loungers as pictured. Photos online also show Burj Khalifa views, but these are long gone due to surrounding developments. The “rooftop bar/restaurant” doesn’t exist either. There are also no poolside drinks available, and while a pool attendant is present all day, he mostly sat indoors on his phone and only handed out towels – which felt pointless. On our last night we couldn’t even sit outside because the area was being cleaned.||On our final day, after checking out, we had an 8-hour wait for our taxi and went to the pool. Unfortunately, no parasols were available “due to wind.” The breeze was minimal, but staff explained that being on the rooftop means they can’t put them out. In September’s heat, sitting by the pool without shade was impossible – heavier or fixed parasols are definitely needed. There was also nowhere comfortable to relax while waiting for our taxi, unless you wanted to sit in the main reception area. No entertainment, TVs, or even a quiet lounge area were available to pass the time.||Finally, at checkout we weren’t asked how our stay was, which was disappointing given the issues we faced. The hotel also advertises two restaurants, but we only ever saw the main dining area and a terrace, which should be made clearer.||Overall, the rooms and housekeeping were good, but the misleading photos, noise, limited food options, lack of shade or service at the pool, and poor facilities really let this hotel down. Updating the advertising to reflect reality would make expectations much more realistic.

All in all, the hotel offers a welcoming and convenient stay—with a lovely lobby ambiance, comfortable beds, great bathroom, and exceptionally accommodating staff. However, the thin walls made noise a noticeable issue, and the hairdryer didn’t work properly. If you have tolerance for some noise, this place is a solid choice for comfort and location.

Hotel Form has been my home away from home for years now. Located 1 min away from Metro, with stores within a min walking distance, festival city mall at 10 mins distance and the small kiosks of food next door the hotel is just what a tourist would look for in Dubai. My 4th trip here and interestingly not a single person has left the job. It is so wonderful to come back to familiar faces you laugh with, you share your concerns with and who go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Manoj, Azad at the Security who tell you about the best deals and places in Dubai. Janel, March, Marlon, Emmanuel at the front desk who are as welcoming as your family members. Noel in the restaurant, Head Chef Jibin who even make your local country’s cuisine off their menu for you. And the star of this show, Waleed. Heading a team who are all champions. A Hidden Gem That Exceeded My Expectations! I booked FORM Hotel thinking it was just a basic budget hotel because of how affordable the price was, but wow, it completely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I arrived, everything about the experience felt elevated. The hotel is beautifully minimalist, very clean, and extremely well-maintained. The room had everything I needed and more, it felt new and thoughtfully designed, with modern amenities and a lovely view. Honestly, it didn’t feel like a “budget” hotel at all; it screamed quiet luxury. The service was exceptional. Every staff member I encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Special thanks to March and Emmanuel, who both went above and beyond to make our stay extra comfortable. I usually skip hotel breakfasts, but the breakfast here changed my mind. Everything was fresh and flavorful — the veal bacon especially was a standout! Definitely one of the best hotel breakfasts I’ve had. The hotel also has a great rooftop pool and a well-equipped gym with a beautiful view. It’s a dry hotel, which made the environment feel peaceful and relaxing. And bonus points! it’s conveniently located close to the metro station, making it easy to get around. All in all, FORM Hotel felt like a luxury experience at a budget-friendly price. I truly enjoyed my stay and would happily return!

We had a very pleasant stay. Nice clean rooms, quiet, and friendly helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast with different varieties of food, room cleaning was top notched when you come back it is already done with care and wonderful reception staff very friendly and always smiling. My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Form Hotel, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is situated in a prime location, just 200 meters from Al Jaddaf Metro Station, only a 3-minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. There's also a 24-hour supermarket nearby, just a short 30-meter walk. The check-in process was seamless and efficient, and we were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff, particularly Janel, who made us feel right at home. The room was impeccably clean, with stylish and tasteful decor. We especially appreciated the blackout curtains, which added an extra level of comfort to our stay. While we skipped breakfast, so we can't speak to the offerings, the hotel provided all the basic amenities we needed. Given that it's a 4-star hotel, we didn’t expect anything extravagant, but it certainly met our expectations in terms of comfort and convenience. Overall, Form Hotel is a great choice for anyone seeking a comfortable, well-located place to stay.
