Review: FORM Hotel, Dubai - SilverKris

"Designed by Paris-based Architecture-Studio (the team behind the National Theatre of Bahrain), this modern-minimalist hotel pairs a stark all-white façade—an extruding frame etched with local calligraphy—with interiors of crisp lines, muted timber and a lobby framed by long wooden beams salvaged from a deconstructed dhow. The Mega Room includes two 49" Samsung HDTVs with cable and a custom Spring Air™ pillow-top mattress, while bright guest rooms feature brushed-brass accents, custom furniture, photography by Nina Dietzel, walk-in rain showers, apothecary kits, plush robes and designer pyjamas on request; floor-to-ceiling windows provide sweeping views of Dubai and the property is a roughly 10-minute drive from the Burj Khalifa. Everything feels curated — in-room coffee is served with a brushed-copper pot and beans from Nightjar Coffee, the minibar stocks organic Höllinger juices, SunBlast Vitamin Water and Huber apple-cinnamon bars, and guests can book add-ons such as a private butler. Dining at roots kitchen by parlour focuses on clean, wellness-minded plates with vegan and gluten-free options alongside items like açaí bowls, chia pudding and Atlantic salmon with couscous and harissa oil, plus complimentary breakfast; the airy café uses brass, marble and wooden slats to encourage guests to roam.
