Having gained experience working abroad, Ciuffetelli showcases local ingredients in his creative, contemporary dishes, with the occasional use of fermented products and a frequent focus on just three ingredients. Really cosy gourmet restaurant in the old town of l’Aquila. We were not disappointed: food is really good, service was top notch. We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. I have to say the non alcoholic wine pairing using kombucha is the most creative concept I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. Food was good, but not yet Michelin level. Definitely has potential! There are only 4/5 tables so book in advance

Company of 2, we had the tasting menu. Kind service, beautiful place and tasty dishes. You can tell that there is a strong focus on quality. We liked the bread in particular. However, We have been to many haute cuisine restaurants before for this type of tasting menu and it never took so long. We arrived at 20:30 and left at 00:30 for 6 courses. Everything we had was tasty but the number of courses and the amount of food in each course are inappropriate for the length of the service. It is the first time, that we left feeling a bit hungry. In our opinion you could raise the price of the tasting menu, and add some dishes or reduce the length of the experience.

Amazing restaurant as well as food. The service was excellent. The ingredients are mostly self produced and well combined. There was also the option to accompany your menu/courses with self-made Kombucha to drink. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Great food. Limited vegan options but the chef was very helpful and made sure we had starters and mains who were all excellent, especially the cauliflower dish, with unexpected flavours.

Creative and refined kitchen, with really good vegetarian options that were absolutely delicious and not just an excuse that is put on the menu. Also the meat/fish options my boyfriend had were incredible. People that know what they are doing…
