Yelp
This place has such great potential as a kosher establishment! The pizza and pastas are great. Happy to hear they will be there extending their hours, adding music Thursday nights and a breakfast menu for Sundays. It is easy to improve this place and make it a most favorite spot for a kosher meal because there is are already good things about it to start.
Some ideas and suggestions to add would be:
*Please bring the previous fries you once had that were not the current crinkle cut, but the regular fries that were fried to perfection.
*Instead of the TV and add nice music (not pop or modern stuff) but music most people will find enjoyable like Spanish or Italian; instrumental music that is beautiful and does not overpower conversations at the tables. You want this place to be one where families can go to as well as couples for a nice relaxing dinner out. Something to appeal for casual meals out as well as as a date night.
*Offer stuffed pasta on the menu like stuffed shells, tortellini or ravioli (btw, tortellini soup is easy to make).
*People enjoy a "build your own pasta" with several different sauce and pasta choices as well as different vegetables/cheese to add. Example would be:
PASTA: Penne, Linguine, Spaghetti, Fettuccine, Angel Hair, Gluten Free
SAUCE: Marinara, Alfredo, Pink Sauce, Vodka, Olive Oil & Garlic
TOPPINGS: Bell Peppers, tomatoes, Artichoke, Olives, Spinach, Mushrooms, Mozzarella Cheese, Parmesan
*Offer nachos on the menu (Corn Tortilla Chips, Melted Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheeses, Guacamole Pico De Gallo, Sour Cream, Sliced Jalapeno)
*quesadillas (Flour Tortillas, Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheeses, Pico De Gallo, Lettuce, Sour Cream, Guacamole)
*Offer one dessert of the day FRESHLY made at the restaurant
* ordered a latte once and got what tasted like an espresso with a splash of milk. Instead, offer different flavored lattes and cappuccinos and train the staff well with an expert who shows how it's done. Although if this is too much, then just having a really good regular and decaf coffee available is more than enough, like Lavazzo which will blend well with the Italian theme since it's an Italian brand.
*Easy to get inexpensive yet tasteful art for this place which the walls are really needing. Some are found in places like Ross, Marshals, Craig's list or thrift shops. This would add a sense of beauty and pride to the place.
* Make sure staff look happy to be there (this is a general suggestion, not because anyone looks unhappy here!).
I can see this place becoming the busiest spot for families and couples alike who are in the community or just visiting. It's a wonderful place!
