FORNO ragged cafe'

A great canal side hangout, with wonderful food, pastry, coffee and more. The lunch menu definitely worth the saunter along the water side in this out of the way place that doesn’t quite fit in given the juxtaposition of hipster vibe and the east end surrounds. If you can yank yourself away from Forno in Broadway Market / Mare St and get out this way, you are rewarded in spades.

Really nice spot for a coffee, brunch or a light lunch, now under the management of Forno. Freshly prepared seasonal dishes, reasonably priced, and excellent service. What's not to like! I had a delicious Tarte with roasted shallots, and my wife had the polenta with mushrooms and cavolo nero. Recommended

Had a wonderful brunch here. There was an amazing selection of pastries alongside the brunch menu. The pastries were all freshly baked filled with delicious cream fillings. We then had the sausage focaccia which was a very generous portion for the price. The staff were super friendly. We had our 1 year old with us and the cafe catered well for families. We’ll definitely be visiting again - a great addition to the local food scene.

Awesome spot, good coffee and great pastries and food! Jenny (chef) is amazing too - i never knew butter beans could be so good! The pastries were great, can't go wrong picking any of them

Perfect place for a terrace meet up! Lovely and friendly staff, and the coffee is well done made! ☕️ It is January, but well worth it to sit outside and make friends with just anyone! (Including wildlife) 🦆

The newly reopened Ragged Cafe we have been waiting for! Unfortunately they did not reopen the old restaurant so the space an Italian coffee shop and bakery. They serve great coffee snd matcha and some amazing Italian pastries and few sandwiches. If you come early in the morning you can also get your sourdough loaf and focaccia bread. They open every weekday 8am-4pm and weekends 10am-6pm. The Maritozzo (cream filled brioche) and their focaccia are my favourite.

Staff were lovely. Picky plate for kids is great - porridge very tasty. Looking forward to coming back.

The location is amazing, with a shabby-chic interior and beautiful canalside outdoor tables. Went for lunch and had the chicken milanese. Crispy AF and very moreish with the celeriac remoulade. The pastries are 10/10, and the staff is kind and attentive.
