Uptown serenity with Hudson River overlooks and the acclaimed Heather Garden, supported by the Fort Tryon Park Trust. A favorite of garden writers and local critics, it pairs seasonal color with nearby Cloisters culture.
Nature views are good. Lots to see, but that human condition started to creep in. As in saboteurs littering in some areas, folks smoking, tripped out minds too. Those mad at whoever or whatever taking their anger out on the park. Interlopers.
Big brother needs to check-in to limit damage saboteurs and interlopers can do.
Where are the cameras to pick up on smoking, littering, people starting fires, cooking or roasting in non-approved areas?

The most beautiful park/garden of New York City. Gorgeous views over the Hudson River, great terrace to seat under the shade of linden trees, beautiful well curated perennial garden that never ends to evolve and offer new blooms. It’s a privilege to live near by it.

Beautiful park, well kept with easy access and paths. Some areas have lots of stairs but you are rewarded with Beautiful stone arches. Mt son recently had an elopement service here and it was perfect!

The true gem of our Hudson Heights neighborhood. Not only is the park great but the people behind it are true friends.
The Heather Garden is one of the best around and worth the visit on it's own. The Cloisters Museum is the other great attraction besides the views and pathways leading from Hudson Heights to Inwood.

An organization that maintains and improves Fort Tryon Park, making it one of the finest parks in the city. We are so lucky to live near this park. I can see my membership fees in action.

Attended the Annual Harvest Festival located at the cafe lawn at Fort Tryon Park on Saturday 21st. It's a nice place to take your kids, theres local venders promoting the business and pie contest. You can even pay what you want for a slice of pie, theres a lot and I mean a lot of pies to try. Also the kids can creat there own cupcakes for free and decorate pumpkins. Only thing that was not great is that there was no water, I mean after tasting so many sweats, I need some milk, or at least WATER, to wash down.
