I subscribed to Forth Worth Magazine in April 2022 (with a two year subscription), and in those 8 months, I have received only two issues. Since they missed me again this month and did not send the December issue, I e-mailed their subscription department, who replied: "Unfortunately, we don't resend missed/damaged issues. Apologies for any inconvenience." I e-mailed them back and cancelled my subscription, as I do not wish to pay for a magazine that they only rarely send. I tried calling their Customer Service number but no one picks up.
Update: I called Fort Worth Magazine Customer Service yet again, and while I was waiting, their phone message extended from a 26-minute queue, to 27 minutes, then 28, then 32 (which I suspect was intentional to get people to stop calling?). I gave up and selected the option for a call back. An hour later I did receive a call back from someone who did not identify themselves in any way and asked what I wanted. After I finally established who she represented, I explained the whole scenario of how I subscribed to Forth Worth Magazine in April 2022 (with a two-year subscription), and in those 8 months, I have received only two issues.
She confirmed that they do not acknowledge any missed issues, nor do they allow any subscription cancellations or refunds. If they don't send out an issue, that's the subscriber's tough luck. The only option they offer is to extend the user subscription by one month. I told her I had already called in and they had extended my subscription three previous times. At their current rate of progress (2 issues per year), they will be "not" delivering issues and extending my subscription for 12 years (or more!).
