16 Special Occasion Restaurants That Are Worth the Splurge

"In the swanky South of Fifth neighborhood, diners craving high-end Italian food should head to chef Antonio Mellino’s Forte dei Marni. Candles light the dimly lit space that’s both inviting and full of privacy. The menu includes sharing options like Florentine-style T-bone steaks, tagliolini with red prawns, whole Mediterranean fish, and fettuccine with mushrooms and black truffle." - Amber Love Bond, Olee Fowler

My honest review. I was supposed to come here for my birthday in December but it was windy so we decided to go elsewhere. I finally came back today. To make reservation, they asked for a card on file and if we did not show up it was a $100 fee. We ordered two pastas. A Bolognese with half cooked pasta. I had the mushroom pasta with truffle it needed salt and pepper not much flavor. We came for the main event which was the pistachio gelato. I thought it was really good and big size for a party of four people. Overall spent $200+ and 25$ for parking.

I'm rarely so categorical. But this is the best restaurant in South Beach and probably one of the best in Miami. I can safely say from my many visits to Miami that it is the best with wonderful service, extremely refined cuisine, wonderful products for both people who love steaks and people who love great pasta and people who love seafood with beautifully prepared fish, fresh and precise. And I have no words for the service. It is truly like a 7-star restaurant, refined, unobtrusive, skillful, professional, so that you can enjoy this pleasure.

I get that this establishment is trying to be high end, but can we not normalize charging customers $10 for still water w/o their knowledge? It just looks sneaky on your end. A simple warning from the waiter would have sufficed. The table next to me was also complaining about the exact same issue (we ended up bonding over fancy water bottles lol). Otherwise, food was ok.

It's been a while since I enjoyed a restaurant in its entire process. It was very hard to get a hold of reservations to modify the reservation time but Alessandro made it work for us. Our server was Daniel. Really attentive to the detail and not overwhelming nor rushing. He gave us time and space not only to choose our meal but also to enjoy each plate and move on to the next course. Service was 11/10. We had the following plates: - VITELLO TONNATO + OYSTERS as starters - LINGUINE ALL'ASTICE: very flavorful and generous with the lobster meat. - TRUFFLE CACIO E PEPE: a little heavy to have it for dinner but so worth it! - TIRAMISU: a good option after the pistachio ice cream (which seemed too much for us) It was an expensive meal but worth it. I'll definitely be back not only because of the high quality and standards on the plates they're serving, but also because of their service and ambiance. Maybe to try some wines and other plates... Now it's time to look for an excuse to go back.

Eduardo our server was incredible on top of an already fantastic meal! He was thoughtful and attentive, timely and warm. We enjoyed our experience SO much and will definitely be back! The ambiance was incredible, the music wasn’t too loud (which is rare in Miami!), the food was prepared with so much flavor and was prepared so beautifully. Thank you!!

The food was amazing and the service was even better. Thank you Massimo for a wonderful evening! We hope to return on our next trip to Miami!

Google
Amazing ambience with some of the best Italian food in south beach. If you’re looking for just a nice night out or something special this should be up there. Would highly recommend the grilled octopus!

Google
If you’re looking for an Italian spot this is the place!! The food was spectacular specifically the tuna tartare and burrata. Coming from a girl that doesn’t usually eat pasta out, you cannot miss out on the cacio e pepe, absolutely unreal. 100% recommend and service was lovely as well.

Yelp
This was the PERFECT date night spot! The vibes here are romantic and intimate, we stopped in for dinner so the candles and flowers at each table really set the mood. Service wise this was a 10/10 experience! Our wait-staff was on top of every detail and we were not left needing a thing at any point. The food was DELICIOUS! The truffle pasta is a must try and for all the tiramisu lovers you have to get the table side tiramisu! I will 100% be coming again because it was so amazing!

Yelp
They've tripled their prices during the past two years to the point where I genuinely thought I was handed a tourist menu. Service was disappointing, and portions and quality have gone significantly downhill. What was once a cool restaurant is now massively overpriced (I have pictures of the menu, and even over the past three months, rigatoni has tripled to 50 dollars....). Go elsewhere in Miami Beach - there's hundreds of other quality restaurants

Yelp
This is the most overrated restaurant. Considering the prices and our bill, our dining experiences was lackluster and mediocre, from preparedness for our reservation and food. We were a 5 top seated at a 4 top table although we had reservations and larger tables were available. The had to bring out a table extension because the table was small and crowded. Additionally we had to wait 15 minutes standing in the middle of the restaurant with no direction from staff for them to set up our table. Topping it off, all of pastas came out cold. And then charged us for a birthday dessert which we thought this brought out as a gesture, guess not! The only saving grace was our main server/sommelier who was excellent. But you can tell that the majority of service staff is not on par with him. Honestly just go to Carbone or Cipriani instead of here.

Yelp
Went there to celebrate our friends anniversary. Reservation specifically mentioned that it was their anniversary. Confirmed the day before and mentioned again. Got there right on time for our reservation. Restaurant was half empty but told our table wasn't ready and to go wait at the bar. 15 minutes later, asked about our table and were told they had no idea how long it would take to get our table. If this is how they treat people on special occasions, imagine how they are going to treat you on a typical night out? We left and had an amazing meal at Papi Steak where we were treated like royalty. We are south of fifth residents and I'm going to tell everyone I know not to go here anymore. Food is not good enough to be treated like that.

Yelp
Unfortunately, Forte Dei Marmi has become just another overpriced Italian restaurant. I visited just this week for lunch on Christmas Day with a friend who is in from out of town and I was struck by how much the place has changed. The service was barely average and the food mediocre (and extremely expensive for what you're getting). I had the truffle cacio e pepe which is one of the pricier pasta dishes on the menu and despite the cost, I couldn't bring myself to even coming close to finishing it. It just wasn't worth the calories. The only thing that remains as good is the pistachio gelato. These days, there are so many other restaurants in Miami with better ambiance and much more reasonable prices.Unless it's during Miami Spice, I don't think Forte Dei Marmi is worth a visit.

Yelp
You will pay Miami Beach prices but the restaurant is good, and exceptional depending on what you order. Their bread, salads, pasta, exceptional. The fish, at least the Branzino we tried, not so great. Service excellent. We arrived after walking almost five miles on the hot and humid boardwalk from our hotel, so I was in shorts. The hostess informed us that shorts were not allowed per their dress code, but made an exception. We had the octopus plancha appetizer, mango and avocado "Forte de MArmi" salad, both excellent. The octopus portion was quite large. She then had a pasta dish (Truffle cacao and pepe) with shaved truffles, very rich, excellent, and nice presentation as served from a carved bowl table side. Unfortunately my Branzino was almost on the cusp of fishy and I would have sent it back, but just ate it anyway partly because the manager had taken the time to talk to us quite a while and given us personalized service so I overlooked the deficiency. The fish was over salted too. For dessert we had the pan cotta, light and very good. Note, 20% service charge is added automatically. In all a pleasant experience.

Yelp
To be completely honest, I came to Forte Dei Marmi with low expectations thinking it would be just another money grab Italian restaurant in South Beach. I am so happy that I was totally off! The staff were really friendly and the inside is very intimate. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese and it was great - really flavorful. Also, do not skip the pistachio ice cream. In a perfect world, I could have eaten the entire portion by myself. My only complaint was that the doors were open to the outside so it was really muggy/humid indoors. Really great place for a special occasion!

Yelp
the truffle cacio e pepe was delicious, both rich & creamy. i definitely recommend getting this dish if you choose to dine here. everything arrived promptly, making the evening very seamless

Yelp
Honestly, I'm super sad to say it's overhyped. I LOVE Italian food & was really excited to try this place, as it gets busy (which is normally a good sign). Unfortunately, my pasta was al dente to the point of being crunchy & was served cold we ordered wine & don't mind paying the price for a good glass, but the Cabernet was subpar. Also worth noting that there is only 2 bathrooms total for men & women for a packed restaurant & you have to wait in a small hallway next to the kitchen squeezing out of the way of rush hour while in line. I expected a bit more for the level they promote themselves at, but can't recommend this spot

Roberta S.

Yelp
Ambiance is nice , service very nice as well, food is really great , octopus and baby artichoke salad really delicious . Desserts super impressive , pistachio gelato and tiramisu made at the table are a must! We ordered 4 pastas , the spaghetti a le vongole was amazing , so was the fresh truffle pastas , the missing star goes to to pesto and guanciale pasta, really bitter and not tasteful. That was the only negative ...

Yelp
Can't say enough positive things about this high class, high end Italian oasis in Miami Beach. Forget dei marmi is known for 3 things: 1. Truffle cacio e Pepe 2. Pistachio ice cream/gelato 3. Incredibly long waits Love this spot but can't give 5 stars due to the limited menu (vegan/vegetarian options were few) and the 40 minute wait we had after our reservations start time. Will definitely return to dine among celebrities and go upstairs to Sopra for a drink! Also- the chairs are super uncomfortable ???

Yelp
Visited on a rainy day with a friend for a cute bridesmaid proposal dinner. Staff is a bit on the unbothered side (unless you are a 'member' whatever that means) so prepare for a wait even if you have a reservation. Ended up waiting at the bar for almost an hour in heels with no bar stool. Once we were seated the service was good and all the food was incredible. The truffle cacio de Pepe is unbelievable and the giant pistachio ice cream was magical (definitely way too much for 2 people so do that with a group.) Fortunately, the food quality is worth the headache so even if the hostess body slams me at the door, I will be back. Definitely worth the hype.

Bali T.

Yelp
The service was great, and the truffle cacio pepe was amazing but was a little to heavy it had a lot of cream The bolognese was ok. The ambiance however wasn't very nice it was way smaller than I expected and wasn't nice enough for the price.
google avatar

Yelp
Great pasta, I had the zucchini pasta. The atmosphere was very romantic and love the vibe of this intimate venue. The staff's service was on point, very attentive which is appreciated when go out to celebrate any special event.

Yelp
Stopped by to eat here since this was directly across the street from our hotel in south beach. The ambiance here is amazing! Very high end with great service and a nice warm low light atmosphere. The service is outstanding and the servers will take care of you with top notch help. The food was really good tasting and had good overall flavor. Would definitely recommend this place for a nice fancy dinner with good overall food!

LeAnn V.

Yelp
The server was amazing but the overall experience is not worth the price. $1200 dinner, but the bread was stale and the pasta came out cold, the steak lacked seasoning. Dirty martinis are not good here they're borderline sweet. Definitely didn't use fresh olive juice used that cheap shit they sell at the liquor store We had a reservation yet had to wait 15 minutes to get seated for which normally isn't a big deal but for the price, I'd expect better service. They sat as a 4 top for 5 it was too tight of a squeeze, again even though we had a reservation. Got a birthday dessert and was charged for it. Won't be returning Overall the waiter was good, but the food was not it was super mid

Yelp

The menu showcases the finest Italian cuisine, from freshly prepared seafood to homemade pasta dishes, all expertly crafted to perfection. Yelp
Always always always from the hostess to the barternet Marco, they make Me feel at home I have been a fan of the restaurant for years and never disappoint Me bravo. The food is incredible, like many places around the street... but the service and the romanticism and simplicity in the Italian decor are unbeatable, the best place in SoFi

Lorena R.

Yelp
Very cozy place to have a real italian flavors .Truffle pasta recommended it's a little bit spicy if you like spicy that's for you . Ice cream pistachio 100/10 and service 10/10 to be honest.

Yelp
This has slowly become our favorite restaurant. You cannot get better pasta anywhere. And, the steak is absolutely killer. Great service and ambience. Definitely check it out...

Yelp
I made a reservation at Forte Dei Marmi 3 weeks in advance. For a thursday night it was extremely busy, they must have over booked because everyone had reservations and were eager to sit. We sat down at our table an hour after our reservation. This place also seems to have a ton of regulars who just come in, talk to the owner and get their way, typical miami vibes. For appetizers we had the burrata and octopus which were not good at all. For entrees we had the cacio pepe and spaghetti alle vongole, both excellent, we devoured these entrees. For dessert we had the pistachio gelato which was as good as they say. The three stars are solely for the pasta and dessert. Due to the poor customer service and ambiance I would not return.

Yelp
What a fun ~Dei~ getting to check out Forte Dei Marmi! We came here to celebrate Mother's Day and it was a pleasant and sunny day to be at this half-open establishment. For appetizers, we had the baby artichoke salad and the octopus. The artichoke salad was so fresh and light, and I absolutely loved the avocado on the bottom. The octopus totally blew me away, I think it's one of the best I've had, and the size is plentiful too. For my entree I had the truffle cacio e pepe, which I enjoyed. The seafood pasta was tasty and they were not shy with the lobster at all. As for the rigatoni bolognese, this was a disappointment. It was not my dish but I tried it and, while the flavor was great, the pasta needed to be cooked longer for sure. Lastly, for dessert, I had the tiramisu which is prepared tableside. While it was a cute concept, I feel like it lacked flavor and sweetness so it let me down. Maybe it was the guy's first time making it lol. Further, the service was great and the food came out relatively quickly. Overall, I enjoyed my time and especially loved the appetizers.

Alexandra A.

Yelp
Fantastic celebratory meal! Food was exquisite. Service, compliments of Massimo, was the best we've had in Miami. Felt that we were in Italy. We can't wait to return.
google avatar

Yelp
Excellent Italian food , great service and very calm ambiance. I had the Linguine alla nerano and my friend had the truffle bucatini cacio e Pepe , we bought enjoyed our meals although the alla nerano sauce was a tiny bit too watery for me. I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu!
google avatar

Yelp
I came here with two other friends last week and we had an amazing time. We were almost 30 minutes late to our reservation on a Thursday and they were very kind and accommodated us. The ambiance was very cute very date night/romantic. I enjoyed being around this ambiance and the waiter was very helpful and knew what to recommend. We had the branzino tartare, and patanegra which came with this truffle honey that was devineee. We also had the Truffle Cacio e Pepe and Rigatoni alla Bolognese. Both were outstanding in their own ways I could not choose one ! I was skeptical about the truffle cacio e Pepe because things in a cheese wheel don't usually give me a huge pop of flavor but this one did ! I couldn't help to notice that the pasta was extremely fresh and just everything was fresh. My friend had a mezcal cocktail she loved and my other friend enjoyed their wine. We had no room for dessert but that's okay just another reason to come back !
google avatar

Yelp
Highly recommend this Italian spot!! The table side truffle pasta was worth every penny. And the table side tiramisu was huge but very delicious. You won't leave here hungry. It's in a great location and the ambiance is amazing!

Yelp
We came to celebrate Valentine's Day early and we were blown away by the service. Massimo made sure we were always taken care of. Food and drinks always came out extremely quick and barely any wait at all. It was a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't too busy until later but the ambience was still calm and romantic. The food, it was spectacular. The Truffle cacio e Pepe was delicious, so much flavor and a good portion. My fiancé had the veal chop and the meat was tender and flavorful although the brussel sprouts were not his favorite since they didn't have much flavor to them. He did in fact enjoy the mashed potatoes with the mushroom sauce that the veal comes in. We also ordered the pistachio gelato, huge portion but it was delicious. It's true when they say it's not filling and it's extremely smooth but we still couldn't finish it. Overall, it was a great experience and hope to come back again.

Irene E.

Yelp
They could improve their service especially the waiters. Specifically the one we had, her name was "Agostina" we were suppose to surprise our friend by singing her happy birthday and she went and told the birthday girl and ruined the surprise. Food was good but great for the price.
google avatar

Yelp
Review of Forte Dei Marmi. Let's dive into the food, the bread was really hard and felt old maybe because it was close to closing time, but it was not good. Appetizers- The stuffed zucchini blossom were amazing. Octopus really good. Branzino tartare was so good, it taste like a very good ceviche. Linguine & clam sauce - decent Oysters way over priced for their teeny size. But what I really went there for was the Truffle Cacio E Pepe-Basically the pasta in the cheese bowl with truffles on top. It was good, nothing special, way too expensive for the taste and the portion size. The three stars of the show was the La Vie En Rose cocktail OMG truly, truly amazing, Pistachio gelato again truly amazing and the chocolate tortino. 6.0 out of 10

Yelp
South of fifth , Miami Beach ... probably the most competitive neighborhood when it comes to Restaurants in Sobe and especially if we think about Italian food. Forte dei Marmi gave us a great experience , I loved the location clean and elegant the service was outstanding, Andrea was very knowledgeable about everything and extremely nice ... the attention to details very high ... you understand right away that the experience will be great when you try the olive oil that comes with the complementary bread ... it was premium quality. We had artichokes avocado salad, zucchini blossoms... NERANO PASTA ( I am a lover of that one ) branzino and they recommended the pistacchio ice cream to finish. They also brought us caffè limoncello and cantucci. Everything was just delicious. Amazing place, can't wait to try it at night.

Yelp
One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Miami. It's not has hyped as some of the ones in the area, and that's a great thing. You can get reservations, it's low key, elegant. Great service and amazing food. The wine list is high quality. One of my favorite dishes to share here is the Truffle Cacio e Pepe which is Bucatini pasta served in a Pecorino cheese wheel. It's a must order. Enjoy! I don't think you'll walk away disappointed.

Yelp
Romantic restaurant inside beautiful architectural villa. but to say this is the best Italian food in miami like other reviews say is definitely an overstatement. As a miami native and a self proclaimed foodie theres no way this is "the best". First off- the food is good but nothing to run home and dream about. We started off with Tartare di Manzo- super refreshing and was good way to start the night- highly recommend Cacio e pepe is good and creamy but very overwhelming- recommend sharing this with 4 people and treating it as a tapas because i promise you after 5 bites youll have enough. Lobster dish was recommended by the waiter- delicious sauce and perfectly cooked lobster. He offered to make modifications to this dish and we agreed because he knew what he was talking about- glad we did as this dish was the star of the night. The pistachio ice cream was very well worth the hype but felt scammed by our waiter. I asked if they had a smaller portion size as i was the only one eating dessert and didnt want to pay something that i knew was going to be left behind. she assured me she could make a smaller portion for me. smaller portion= different price one would think... Nop i paid the same amount for one scoop! lol i guess its my bad for thinking shell adjust the price- had i known im sure my boyfriend wouldve ate some or we couldve taken it to go. Last comment but a very important one- i included a picture of the salt grinder into this review. It oxidizing and clearly not looked after. Ill end this review with quote from wise man Anthony Bourdain ".. If the restaurant can't be bothered to .. and floors clean, then just imagine what their refrigeration and work spaces look like"

Yelp
Super rude hostess at 8pm on evening of May 25. She just stared at us and did not say a word. She played a staring game. I've read this negative review on the hostess situation at this place, maybe mgmt will address it one day. We went to eat at Prime 112, - where they kindly greet and assist paying customers.
google avatar

Alexandra R.

Yelp
Horrible. Empty restaurant and with a reservation they still didn't want to sit us because they couldn't find our reservation. I would say 95% of the restaurant was empty. I've been here before and honestly not worth the pretentiousness. Do yourself a favor a pass on this place.
google avatar

Christina H.

Yelp
I live down the street so this is an easy walk for me, meaning I go often. It really does taste like your mom's homemade cooking. The atmosphere is elegant but doesn't pressure you. Service is always great well highly recommend

Grego B.

Yelp
Be careful when using their valet parking services. We paid valet and we just received a parking ticket for the same hours we were at the restaurant and restaurant does not take responsibility for that charge
google avatar

Sylvia G.

Yelp
Cute spot and very Italian. Food was good and service was also good. We ordered the baby artichoke salad to start which was amazing. We also got the tuna tar tar which was very very good. For dinner we ordered the branzino filet which I thought was the best thing we ordered. The Veal Chop Porcini was okay and I would stick to the filet next time. The Risotto Seppia e Carciofi was very good as well. The tiramisu was good and so was the chocolate Milton cake, I wish we would've gotten the pistachio ice cream. Good spot for Italian food, pretty pricey but good.

Yelp
After seeing the menu we decided to give it a try. We were celebrating my son's birthday. They require a cc on file if we are late or don't show. We were a party of 6. Our table was not ready and waited 30 minutes to be seated. In reality there was no place to wait because outside was the sidewalk and inside was the bar area that was extremely crowded with the staff coming by with food constantly from both sides. It was very hot inside the restaurant with flies all over. Not ONCE did the maitre D have eye contact with us. He knew we were uncomfortable & cramped. When our table was ready he quickly sat another party that did not have a reservation at the table that we were waiting on. I walked to the hostess who had said that table is yours. She apologized and had that party leave and return to the bar. We were seated and had a very nice meal. Nothing spectacular that may want us to return. It was awkward from the beginning to the end. Our food came quickly and even though it was good we felt hot and had to fan the flies away from our food constantly. This is what I don't expect from a restaurant that charges $100+ per person. Miami has gotten out of hand and us locals deserve better! To the Maitre D even though we may not be the STARS you expected to service that evening you should learn some manners and at least be amicable to your guests and acknowledge their presence... Maitre D 101.

Yelp
Delicious Italian spot. The service was excellent as was the food! Love the truffle pasta in a cheese wheel. It definitely is on the pricy side though.

Yelp
From the outside this place will definitely attract you to it. The outdoor seating was perfect on a Friday night. Although I didn't drive they have a valet service directly in front. The dress code is somewhat of a business casual and they don't allow hats. After being seated immediately due to a reservation made we were greeted promptly by our waiter. He was really polite and had great recommendations. We decided to get the grilled octopus for an appetizer. It was really good and not too grilled, like the texture was perfect. Of course I had the get the Truffle Cacio e Pepe. If I must be totally honest I couldn't eat it. The smell of the truffle or the cheese was really too overbearing for me. Although I did take a few bites and was please with the overall taste. If you're really into the truffle then this is the dish for you. Overall is a nice restaurant and kind of pricey but what do you expect, it's on south beach. I would come back and try something differently next time.

Yelp
We went her for Valentine's Day - recommended by the W concierge. We were seated outside and the private terrace - private with nice ambiance. They had low lighting and red roses on every table. Tables were pretty close together, and we were able to hear others conversations, but it wasn't overwhelming, just a bit distracting. We had the artichoke salad which was very nice. The avocado made it very creamy. Being s cheese lover, I ordered the Caccio y Pepe. Pasta comes out to the table hot and they put it in a warmed wheel of Parmesan until the pasta is coated with cheese. Watching our waiter swirl the pasta was a treat. He then shaved a generous amount of black truffle on top. . My first bites were heavenly, (almost TOO cheesy! Which I never say) but Unfortunately, as we were outside and it was a cool (but unseasonably warm) breezy evening, the pasta turned cold after 3 bites. I actually only ate about half of the order. If we were in the warmer restaurant, I think it would have been better. My hubby had the mushroom pasta which was very good, and kept temperature better. We had a great bottle of wine, and some lemoncello for dessert.

Yelp
When you go to Miami, you have to try this restaurant. Besides the delicious food, they have an amazing service and ambiance. Vibe is super cool. They are also famous on their pistachio gelato. It is gelato with the right temperature which made it the creamiest. Their pistachio is like freshly picked from the tree! The crunchiness is quite addicting but I must warn you to get the medium and not large. Their large pistachio gelato is giant . I'm rating this resto 5 star. https://maps.app.goo.gl/BpJTcGNfR7JGr2B68?g_st=i

Yelp
We showed up early to our reservation and they couldn't get us in early, which is an understandable for a Saturday night. Unfortunately there wasn't a bar anywhere we could hang out at while we waited. But once we finally got sat we were served right away. The food was good, I wouldn't say it was exceptional. We didn't like any of the salads on the menu so we asked if they could just make a mixed green salad for us and they were able to which was very kind of them and I appreciate. Wish we would've got dessert but we were too full. Pros: service & speed Cons: overpriced

Yelp
It was amazing. The food and service were both really good. Best Italian restaurant I've been too. The design of the place and feeling too is good.

Yelp
I absolutely loved Forte Dei Marmi. From the moment you walk in you feel an immediate charm and a warm welcome. For starter had the vitello tonato which was incredibly tasty! Thinly sliced veal covered with a creamy, mayonnaise-like tuna flavored sauce. Truffle Cacio e Pepe and Linguine alla Nerano were our mains. Pasta was PERFECT! cooked al dente to perfection and presented beautifully. A true 5* execution! Cant wait to return and have them again. Also the table adjacent had the branzino baked in salt and it looked heavenly - huge, which seems to be great to share in a group. Finally, dessert.Pistacchio. Pistacchio. Pistacchio. Gelato overload. Silky, freshly made and server on a marble slab. Magnificent! Even when I was full, I keep going for more. As great as gelato in Italy. Thank for the amazing service and care! Looking forward to a return very soon.

Yelp
I used to be a huge fan of this restaurant.. every time i visited Miami i'd go here so I went this time too. But the problem was that this time I visited city by myself. However, i still wanted to have dinner at good restaurant. I came around 6 pm and girls at front desk carelessly told me that i cannot seat at the table, because they don't have tables for two... restaurant was empty. One table was occupied. They suggested me to seat at the bar. But bar chairs are so inconvenient and cold, you barely can seat on them. I kindly asked them to give me a table because i wanted to have dinner like a normal person. I had to ask manager to come over... after all bad emotions I already experienced... and 20 wasted minutes they finally gave me a table right next to the hostess stand that i had to enjoy the view of their asses. Okay... While i was having dinner one other guy came to front desk and asked them to be seated... they told him they don't have tables for 1 person... I was laughing... remember it is still empty restaurant. Very stupid policy ! You guys lose so much with this.... Sometimes you need to change your rules.

Yelp
Overall delicious. The truffle pasta which was tasty and the gelato which reminded me Rome was insanely delicious 4 stars cause the house salad was over salted and not cut (half pieces of tomatoes etc)
