Great big band experience in the heart of Charleston. Was impressed by the entire band and how they truly were excited for one another’s solos. Really fun to see all the artists work well together. Fun experience overall, though 4 stars due to the lack of customer care at entry from the check-in counter. Guy with glasses exuded “I don’t want to be here and don’t care about your experience.” Hoping Forte can raise the welcome in the future. Worth your time to see a show on a visit to Charleston.

Our favorite part of our Charleston trip! Incredible musicians in an intimate venue with a variety of styles—we came two nights out of three, and would have made it three if they were open on Sundays. Cannot recommend this place enough!!!

Totally enjoyed the Big Band show last night with my husband! This was the third time we have been to Forte Jazz Lounge and always come away feeling relaxed and happy. Last night's band was tight and played a variety of pieces to accompany three different male soloists. We'll continue to visit when we're visiting Charleston! Please stay in business! We don't know anywhere else to hear live jazz of this caliber!

Absolute star find, really had an amazing time. The music was excellent, the staff were great. Would highly recommend if you're visiting. The only thing I would say is to have more premium spirits and maybe 2 people behind the bar. It took quite a while to get drinks. The music was superb so you didn't mind so much but would be better.

Such a great date night experience. We went on an all girl big band night and they were fantastic. Cost of the drinks and tickets is to be expected in downtown Charleston and honestly worth it. We'll definitely be back!

This was a little gem found by chance. Had planned on another place for some live music but didn't like the vibe there so ducked into Forte. Great ambiance. Two hours of jazz, reasonable drinks, and comfortable seating was a perfect early evening treat.
