Neat little dog friendly brewery with its own disc golf course! Short course but you can tell they're doing their best to work with what they got. Ordered the cask Oktoberfest and an Australian Pilsner, both tasted great and I admire that they offer 20oz brews. I noticed they run a full liquor bar as well for those who don't dig beer. Plenty of indoor seating and outdoor seating covered from the sun or rain. There was a Mediterranean food truck there which I'm sure they rotate out but seems like they'll have you covered on food. Worth it to stop by!

Google
As a Real Ale enthusiast, I could not be happier that the good people of the triangle area can now enjoy the best of what Britain has to offer. They had two cask ales on when I visited in Oct. of 2024 and reach was the best of the respective style. Cask conditioned pumpkin ale?! So incredible even though it shouldn’t be. Their cask English porter is the best porter I’ve ever had and these are strong words because I’ve had a fair few. Beautiful woodsy setup. Definitely want this place to succeed.

Google
Honestly, I wasn’t super impressed. I’ve been to a bunch of other breweries, and first off, they usually have a bigger beer selection. Also, the space feels pretty big overall, but on weekends when it’s packed, it gets really overcrowded. So for me personally, it wasn’t my vibe — I’d probably give it 3 out of 5 stars. As for the service, the staff was nice, nothing crazy or super memorable. The outdoor area is actually pretty cool though — I liked the artificial grass where you can chill barefoot. That was probably the highlight for me.

Google
The beer was good and definitely a neat place. The bar tender seemed a little less than enthused, but who knows could've been having a bad day. Overall I'd come back again.

Google
Several of us made plans to meet there for supper and drinks. We arrived at 6:15 since the food truck was supposed to be there until 7, but it had already left. There was one person working the bar, so the line was long the whole time we were there. Poor lady, I don't know how she maintained a pleasant demeanor. Everyone enjoyed the drinks, but the experience could have been much better. We did enjoy the beer and hymn thing going on that night.

David Downey

Google
A great place to meet up with friends. I tried two of their beers, a dark ale and a lager. Both were quite good. The lines can get longish on a busy night, but they work hard to quickly move people through.

Google
Fortnight Brewing Company is an absolute favorite! We love spending Thursday nights here for music bingo—it's always such a fun and lively experience. The drinks are top-notch, with an impressive selection to suit every taste. And I have to give a special shoutout to their mead—my personal favorite! The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great company. If you're looking for a place with fantastic drinks and a vibrant community vibe, this is it!

Google
Great time. Tasty drinks and a little disc golf. Food truck on site. Update... Wednesday nights are amazing at Fortnight! Let's talk disc golf, opinionation with Gary, and an amazing bartender Angie!!! So much fun!!! It's break time for disc golf, but we will definitely find time to keep on going up there.

Yelp
Such a fun and huge space! There's plenty of parking available and a freesbie golf section with a woodsie vibe next to the parking lot. The interior is nice and spacious with plenty park-bench tables, tv's, games, arcade machines and even non-alcoholic slushies! The exterior patio seating is just as spacious and very nicely put together with shade for a chill summer vibe. The staff is amazingly patient and friendly. The place is kid and pet friendly. And beer selection was great! Unfortunately for me, I was visiting from out of town and couldn't take any beer to go but left with some very cool merch. Looking forward to visiting when I'm in town again!

Yelp
UPDATE: I had a chance to go by Fortnight Brewing again recently after almost a decade which I am noticing from my previous review. I enjoyed this visit more than the first it appears. First off, they have additional parking available which was sorely needed. They've revamped the tap room/bar area, very open and more inviting than I remember it. Plenty of tables and sitting areas, more TVs, and the whole atmosphere is a positive vibe. Not only did they have a full bar but also a whole refrigerated unit dedicated to non-alcoholic beers and they has plenty of choices in there. This time, I went with the Blue Moon non-alcoholic (NA) Belgian White selection. The bartender (helpful and nice) offered a pint glass to pour my choice in, and I really enjoyed this NA beer beverage a lot. With the open layout and plenty of tables, our group had a great time catching up and enjoying some pre-dinner beverages. They definitely earned another star from me this visit.

Yelp
Very casual and relax sitting outside with beer and friends. IPA is fantastic. There is food truck, you can order something to eat as well

Yelp
Great brewery! We really could have hung out here all day. Great ambiance and vibes. We had two dogs with us that really enjoyed the outside area. It is all under cover, turf flooring (which is great for my dogs to lay down and relax), and they had a food truck and disc golf course! The beertenders were really nice and accommodating! We visited in mid August and they just released their octoberfest and amber beers, which is my husbands favorite kind, so we had to buy a few cans of it! They were so good! I also to note... they had a lovely bathroom. Very clean and stocked well! Overall, great experience, will definitely return!

Yelp
I really enjoyed my recent visit to this solid brewery near downtown Cary, which served up tasty brews in a fun setting with tons of seating inside and out. Hopheads will enjoy their signature Blank Coast IPA and the flavorful Go West Imperial IPA, and there were also ales, ambers and a barrel-aged vintage on tap when I visited. And if you're not into beer, Fortnight also has an excellent selection of wines, whiskeys and seltzers available. Service was great throughout my visit, and the setting was perfect for everyone from a solo visitor to a family with kids. Parking looks like it could get challenging at peak hours, so be prepared to use the overflow lot across Chatham St. Definitely worth a visit if you find yourself in the Triangle.

Yelp
Very cute date night spot! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. There are games for entertainment and food trucks to fulfill your hunger. The staff were very personable and nice. Feel free to bring your pups as well! One of my fave brewery's in the RDU area.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a fun brewery. One area is set up like a pub. The other is like a brewery. Service was great. Asked for recommendations and was given great selections. As we were leaving a bbq food truck pulled up. Wish we could've stayed longer so try it out.
google avatar

Karley E.

Yelp
Great selection of beer and other drinks. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating - can't ask for much more from a brewery! Stand up and order service - no food but I hear they often have food trucks.

Yelp
Loved this place! Wish they were closer to North Raleigh. My boyfriend and I like to occasionally take a trip to Bond Park and after a long day of walking around, we passed Fortnight on the way home. We saw a food truck out front, made a U-turn, and decided it was time to drink. We ordered a couple drinks inside and sat under the outdoor tent. I first tried the 50 Shades of Grain Imperial Stout - which I loved. And at 14.5%.... Let's just say I could not have more than a couple. The Bounce Back amber lager was also pretty good. I forgot the name of the food truck, but they were serving some Cuban classics! We ordered a couple sandwiches, croquettas, and empanadas. The food was good, not amazing, and the wait was a little long. Granted, they did seem super busy! We had a good time here and are excited to find the time to come back again.

Yelp
Great place to grab a beer and hang with friends. They have a cute outside area covered/uncovered. They have two room areas/bars. The place is extremely dog friendly. I got a pineapple cider that was so good. Would definitely go again.

Yelp
My old review makes me laugh every time, but time to update because fortnight has SIGNIFICANTLY upgraded since then. Yes my 21yrs old self was bitter and hold grudges over little things, but this place has definitely gotten way cooler. The outdoor seating is well spaced and there's plenty of room for large groups. I love the small putting range for disc golf in the back corner. And 9/10 they'll have a food truck there for some bites after a couple beers. I love seeing how much the place has grown over the past 7-8yrs and it's definitely a spot to go to in Cary!

Yelp
Absolutely loved the service that my friend and I received as well as the beers. I had their local blackberry cider that was super tart, but so refreshing and delicious! I love that the gentleman that helped us allowed us to try a couple of beers as well as their wine slushi. The slushi was a little too sweet for the both of us and that is how I ended up with the sour and her with the apple blossom. I would recommend going back, but not until they fix the nat problem! I know it is the summer and they love the warmth, but they are flying around everywhere in the inside bar area--so much so that it caused my friend to knock over her drink on herself and on the floor. The staff were really nice about it and cleaned it up, but it pretty much stopped our night. So, yes, three stars because of all the Nats as it is a huge distraction and deterrent.
google avatar

Jessica P.

Yelp
Great selection of beer on tap! Food truck outside, perfect pairing Trivia night is a lot of fun, although it is a bit hard to hear some of the questions, as there are people there not playing, just simply drinking and socializing. This place is super massive! There is the new extension ( I didn't get to see it, but so many people were talking it up).
google avatar

Harriet W.

Yelp
This has become our favorite brewery! Their own beer plus guest taps are delicious. Their space is appealing because there are several areas to hang out both inside and outside. They have heaters too. It is dog friendly. It is close to downtown Cary but more relaxing.
google avatar

Janet C.

Yelp
Decent beer, nothing that screams come get me but nothing that makes you go ewww. Really appreciate and like the frozen drinks, machine was down for a while but so happy it is working now. Great to sip on while enjoying the outdoor space they have expanded and upgraded during COVID. Service is good and spacious indoor space if not able to hang outside.
google avatar

Kaitlyn K.

Yelp
Tried 3 beers and all were amazing so that gets a 5 stars from me lots of seating inside and out to accommodate our book club which is great -- we'll be back!
google avatar

Danielle S.

Yelp
This is my husband and I's favorite brewery! We come here at least twice a week. They have rotating ciders & meads which I really like since I'm GF. My husband loves their selection of beer. They also have really good seasonal beers so we also take home a pack or two. Everyone who works there is super nice and the brewery itself is really comfy. There's usually also a great food truck out front that's always worth trying. This has become our happy place!
google avatar

Christina B.

Yelp
This place used to be one of our favorite spots to visit in town. My family had been going there for years. However, it's been getting progressively worse, especially in terms of the environment. They allow people to bring dogs inside and let them behave however they want. I don't believe animals should be allowed inside restaurants, similar to smoking, as not everyone enjoys that. The last time we were there, two enormous dogs were present, and one of them even climbed up the bar where people get food and drinks. It's quite unpleasant, and both the dog owners and the restaurant proprietors appear to be very selfish and self-centered. I doubt we'll ever want to return there again.
google avatar

Ralf L.

Yelp
Nice place and friendly service. Enjoy IPAs and found theirs to be average for my taste.
google avatar

Derek N.

Yelp
Great beer and atmosphere. Games to play as well. Food trucks frequently. A fun hang out.

Rod D.

Yelp
Price of wines are seriously too high. While like their beers I doubt we'll be back just because of the wine prices and small pours
google avatar

Jessica C.

Yelp
Pretty cozy and friendly place to go have a beer. There is a large outdoor area with a lot of tables. It's our neighborhood brewery. We like to grab a beer and try different food trucks that visit. We stopped by on a night that had a run club and trivia. The service is friendly and the beer list has something for everyone. We will visit again.
google avatar

Umesh R.

Yelp
This place by far seeks the most expensive beers. Me and my went yesterday and had gluten reduced beer. The bear was $15. Even the other beers are expensive compared to I many other breweries in the area,
google avatar

Allison P.

Yelp
Great little brewery in Cary! The indoor/outdoor space is perfect, and there were TV's playing the football games. We brought our dog and there was plenty of space to spread out. We both ordered the Oktoberfest which was darker than I anticipated but delicious!
google avatar

Karthik R.

Yelp
Kid friendly brewery that has great beers. I liked the "call the hops" one as I prefer IPA's and my wife loved the Miss Scarlett porter. Friday afternoon at 3pm, it was easy to find good seating inside.
google avatar

Tammy M.

Yelp
Great local brewery (near my house) in Cary. They have a pretty large selection of beers on tap. Everyone is bound to find one that they like. Tonight I had the Porter. Dark and very flavorful. Because there is an "event" here this evening, it's pretty crowded. With the high ceilings, it can get pretty loud. Just people talking and we having to yell at each other. There are a number of picnic tables outside under some trees that I had not noticed last time I was here. It's too cold to sit out there tonight but this summer that area will be a popular space. You won't find any food sold inside the brewery. There is usually always a food truck outside. Or you can bring your own food if you prefer. It's a great neighborhood brewery.
google avatar

Kelly F.

Yelp
For a brewery without a kitchen, I wouldn't normally give a five star review but THIS place earned it. I enjoy at 8-9 of their brews and the bar staff is top-notch. Such a comfortable, friendly place. Aesthetically interesting and delicious. Tip-they have a second tap room for guest taps. While you might find things you like in that room, I suggest staying in their main tap room. That have leather sofas and a large tv, pub tables, bar seating. Overall a great night out.
google avatar

Katherine S.

Yelp
I'm disappointed to say that Fortnight waters down their beers. Both my husband & I felt this way after each having a different type - him an amber ale & me a 7% IPA. Definitely not worth the $ & atmosphere you're paying for if your beer is watered down.
google avatar

Stephanie J.

Yelp
It has been a while since I visited Fortnight but I love how they have remodeled! The staff are so easy to work with, we recently had a party there and it was a fantastic experience. I love All You Need Is Hops, it is my favorite beer here and I love the new can. They have a wide variety of options available so everyone in your party will be satisfied.
google avatar

Monica M.

Yelp
Got to check this place out for the first time when my husband and I attended the Cause for Paws Yappy Hour. We got to play with puppies, sip on some beers and enjoy the nice weather outside. I love a place that is dog friendly. We'll definitely be back with our pup. They always have a food truck outside apparently so if you're needing something to snack on with your beer just head out to the food truck for some grub. There's plenty of seating inside and outside. Love this place plus the bartender was super friendly and cool. I give this place 2 big thumbs up! My new hangout in Cary.

Yelp
Laid back brewery that has been on Cary for many years. They specialize in traditional English beers, but contract out their brewing space and taps to many other local vendors like Gizmo, Bull City Ciderworks and Flowers of Life Kombucha. The end result: a pretty extensive variety of beer, cider, and kombucha on the menu. The space is cozy inside with really comfortable bar stools, a fireplace, and plenty of other seating. There are many picnic tables outside with the ever-so-trendy strung lights for the perfect Instagram pic. There is typically at least one food truck outside or a local food vendor selling tasty meals inside. The bar keep are friendly and happy to answer questions or provide samples. We did a short brewery tour with Craig, the assistant manager of the front of the house, and he was very laid back and knowledgeable about the brewing process. Would recommend for a laid back afternoon or evening of drinks. Check out their flight options to try multiple beers at once.
google avatar

Kevin K.

Yelp
Do you know this place used to be good but the employees are horrible disgruntled the beer was just Soso atmosphere was a little Soso and quite honestly expensive. I had a really lousy Cabernet Carmel Cabernet from California which I can buy a bottle of that for $12 and they charged us $10 for a really lousy poor I would go to pawn Brothers can't house any other place than this lousy place good luck to y'all
google avatar

Ron W.

Yelp
Ok, I had to look it up but "fortnight" means 14 days or two weeks and I'm not exactly sure what the connection is to this new brewery. But it does sound cool! Fortnight is the first brewery that I know of in Cary and focuses on English ale. Big industrial building with a large U-shaped bar, check! Display window with all sorts for metal pots, plumbing and concrete floor, check! And high warehouse ceiling with a smattering of chairs and stuffed couches, strewn about, check! The only thing that is missing is some dart boards and maybe a pool table but hey, Fortnight just opened up. Given that most breweries seem to look a lot alike, the main differentiator is going to be the variety and quality of brews, bartenders and clientele. Right out of the gate, the beers at Fortnight are solid, I tried the English ale and stout. Bartenders were a bit slow but I gotta think they were caught up in the excitement of its recent opening. People hanging out here was geared a bit older and couples-families which is not to be unexpected for Cary. Overall, Fortnight has some work ahead of it to become a destination brewery but they are trying! With all the recent competition in the Triangle with regards to breweries, Fortnight will have to carve out its own niche. And I will have to come back for a second visit once they settle down...
google avatar

Jill H.

Yelp
Fortnight is a brewery that offers both indoor and outdoor spaces for hanging out. My first time there, there was a food truck and people throwing axes! The beer is good and there is a decent variety. My two negatives is that the indoor seating area is cold and it is too noisy - too many hard surfaces.

June S.

Yelp
Cool vibe and loved the covered outdoor area. Plenty of parking and dog friendly. I like that there was cider options too for gluten free people

Jennifer H.

Yelp
Stopped in for a beer while visiting Raleigh ... great selection of beer and service was quick. We happened to be there on a cold rainy night so we sat inside, but looked like they had a really nice outside area.
google avatar

Eileen S.

Yelp
Great beer, chill atmosphere. Went here to escape the rain one afternoon. Time well spent!
google avatar

A N.

Yelp
Cool little place to hang out. Some great beers and there's always a food truck if you're hungry.
google avatar

Kara S.

Yelp
Being from one of the beer capitals of the world, Wisconsin, I was very happy with the beer at Fortnight! They provide a wide variety of locally made beers which really impressed me! There is something for everyone! The only drawback was the food truck that was there that night, Buff-O-lina l. They were average hot dogs and definitely would've wanted a better food selection given the amazing beer selection. Atmosphere was great, specially in the evenings. Dog and kid friendly.
google avatar

Kimberly H.

Yelp
I am a fan of Fortnight, they have a wide variety of beer on tap. It is also spacious and a good place to watch a game.

Robert T.

Yelp
Beer drinker beware... this place has a great atmosphere, but when it comes to consistency in their beer formula, they struck out. Take for example their 'Call the Hops' IPA. It was by far my most favorite IPA... it was so great that they had trouble keeping it in stock in stores and at the brewery. Then someone has the bright idea to change the type of hops used in the recipe. While it doesn't taste bad now, it certainly is not the same great juicy citrus IPA Call the Hops was intended to be. I don't mind you tweaking a recipe, but for Christ's sake, don't tarnish the Call the Hops brand that so many have grown to love. At least Coca-Cola had the decency to label their recipe mistake from the 80's 'New Coke'. If you are missing the right ingredients, don't make it or call it something UPDATE: so these guys brought back the original hops in their 'Call the Hops', but during their drive-by beer sales on 3/27/20 they loaded our vehicle up with beer brewed over 6 months ago. Guys, please don't sell 6+ month old beer that has been sitting in a hot warehouse since mid-September!
google avatar

Francine G.

Yelp
Ample parking and outdoor seating makes this brewery great for social distancing. The draft list is smaller compared to breweries in the Raleigh area but still a solid list with a variety of different brews for everyone. Pre COVID they'd offer tours of their brewery which was really great and came with a 6pk of your choice to bring home which was included in the tour. Overall small but really cute brewery to check out for an afternoon and a good spot for a first date!
google avatar

Michelle Y.

Yelp
A breath of fresh air for Cary! Finally a pub that isn't centered around numerous tvs. The beer is fantastic and having the rotation of food trucks is always nice. Two years and still going strong! Their new Terminal B bar is open on the weekends and it's a great addition (I would call for the hours of Terminal B, it's still new :))

David W.

Yelp
This is a jewel in Cary. Great beers and food trucks. Open spaces. Pet friendly. What are you waiting for?
google avatar

Owen F.

Yelp
Great spot for a few drinks and food truck snacks. Beer is great, often tease home a six pack with me or buy their stuff at local stores. Outside seating is awesome with the new pavilion and dogs welcome.
google avatar

Karli-Marie R.

Yelp
We visited for the first time when I found an awesome Groupon for a brewery tour, two beers, two six packs, and two Fortnight glasses. Wish we would have come sooner! We love the ambiance, the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and having a brewery in the neighborhood that is child-friendly is amazing. The food trucks are a cool perk, but being able to bring your own food is great too. And of course... the beer is to die for!

Justin M.

Yelp
I definitely miss the old bar. It's much nicer than the new one. But it had less seating, so I get it. Beer is good though. It's gotten much better over the years. We originally weren't big fans, but are now regulars. There's almost always a food truck outside, which is a big bonus.
google avatar

Cori B.

Yelp
Came in the mid-afternoon on a weekend following a long bike ride that ended nearby. I was even still wearing all my gear. The vibe inside is pretty classy, kind of like a parlor with fancy chairs and stuff, I'd like to hang out in there with a smoker's jacket instead of a bike jersey. Oh well. the attitude of the bartender was not very warm. I was the only one at the bar at this off hour and he wasn't really into talking too much about the beer when I asked him for recommendations, which made me a little sad. They specialize in English inspired ales. I tried the porter. It was OK. if you dig into my reviews you'll see I'm not a huge beer fan (I go to breweries for the anthropologic experience and insist on drinking beer anyway). So the lack of enthusiasm may have affected my experience. I still bought a tee shirt. I'd come back if I was in the area with a group of friends to hang with.

Yelp
Cary's first local craft brewery!! It's about time!! Staff are very attentive, the set up is really nice, and they are in the process of creating some outdoor seating (hopefully in time for summer!!). My favorite is the porter. Went in, tried all 3 that we're available, and ended up buying a growler of the porter! That growler is long gone and it tasted excellent! My favorite part about this space is the picture window! It allows you to drink at the bar while peaking in at what takes place behind the scenes! I can see this place being one of my go to spots, especially when I just can't be bothered with going all the way to Raleigh! Cheers!!
