Had an amazing experience at this Japanese spot downtown! The food and service were both top-tier. I ordered the eel roll and it was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made. We also tried the shogun shooters and they were solid, definitely a fun addition to the meal. Honestly, everything we had was really good and the staff made the experience even better with great service and attention. The only real downside is parking downtown can be a bit of a hassle, but that’s pretty typical for the area and definitely not the restaurant’s fault. Overall, fantastic experience and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for great Japanese food!

Forty Five Degrees enjoys one of the best locations on Mass Ave, and the space matches the neighborhood vibe. The restaurant is clean, bright, and open, with large, comfortable booths that make it easy to settle in for a long meal or happy hour with friends. The service is consistently friendly and personable—staff make you feel welcomed without hovering, and the overall environment is relaxed and easygoing. The sushi itself is where the experience becomes a bit mixed. When it’s good, it’s genuinely very good—but it can also be hit or miss. There are times when certain rolls or pieces feel incredibly fresh and well-prepared, and other times where the fish tastes like it may have been kept just a little too long. One thing Forty Five Degrees does well, though, is portioning: the nigiri is much closer to the traditional size, rather than the oversized pieces many American sushi spots default to. Happy hour is a definite highlight here. The specials are worthwhile, the pours lean moderately heavy, and it’s easy to enjoy yourself without breaking the bank. And if you like dessert, the dessert sushi roll is the unexpected star of the menu—fun, unique, and honestly “the bomb.” Overall, Forty Five Degrees delivers a great atmosphere, good service, and enjoyable value. The sushi can be inconsistent, but when they hit, they hit well—and the experience as a whole makes it a solid Mass Ave stop.

Came for lunch the day after Christmas. Food was delicious and fresh! I’m impressed that their Japanese food is so good but they still offer burgers and other bar food favorites. My husband is a picky sushi guy and he approved too. Our waitress was so friendly and helpful. Twas a great lunch all around

I visit Indianapolis from time to time for appointments and like to treat myself to good sushi when in town. I was so bummed though yesterday when I tried the Sunburst roll. The salmon did not taste fresh at all, and had to spit out one of the pieces and throw away the rest. I was already on the road and couldn’t go back to the restaurant. About $15 wasted:( on the bright side, the server was so pleasant both on the phone and in person and the hamachi was great.

I'm going to keep it short and sweet This is some of the best Japanese food I've had ever. The customer service was amazing We came here unexpectedly because everything was closed and we were like the only two people in their eating. The tuna nachos were amazing. We had some dish that was sushi wrapped in foil that they had to set on fire so that it can be cooked right in front of us and when I tell you it was the best sushi ever Oh my God! To the kitchen personally to thank the chef. Everything was right on time and fresh. This is definitely our new go-to spot! I still can't get over how amazing this food was. The orange chicken was really good The rice just seemed a little to sweet. What a preferred a dryer Jasmine rice or even a basmati. But again you see I gave this completely five stars even with that. Bless this place is really a gem. And this isn't a computer-generated AI review this is the real deal 😂

They have 1/2 price Sushi rolls on Sunday and that’s why the place was fully packed. We had to wait at least 30 minutes for the waiter to take our order and another 20 minutes for the food to come. But I must say the Sushi rolls were totally worth the wait. Will definitely try again.

We ate lunch here: Boston Rolls, Cajun Ahi Rolls, Corona Rolls, and Shogun Shooters. The guys raved about the food. I felt like the flavor of the crab in the Boston Roll was completely overwhelmed by the cucumber and cream cheese. We waited a long time for our order. Turns out, it was sitting on the counter, forgotten. Oops. Otherwise, the service was great.

First time at Forty Five Degrees. I really liked the dining area with lots of seating. There are some big round table perfect for groups. This place is unique in the way that their menu offers variety, from sushi and bento box to burgers. Whatever you are hungry for I think they got it. I tried the new item which is Bangkok shrimp wrap which I saw on the chalk board at the entrance. It had a lot of shrimp and the sauce was so good. My friend had a stir fry which also looked delicious. The service was friendly, but slow as there was only one server working at that time.

1/2 price sushi on Sunday evenings - count me in! We were able to walk right in around 4:30pm after a Colts game- our waiter was ndw, but got everything right and was friendly! We ordered the crab ragoons which were OK, but they needed a lot more stuffing. We also ordered a variety of sushi rolls. The Hawaiian roll was the standout with the mango habanero glaze! I would go back just for that roll. Parking is easy as long as you can find a spot along Mass Ave!

Post is a few months delayed, but 45 was great! We went there for the devour deal. I saw it online and when we arrived, we got a regular menu so make sure if you partake in regular devour or winter, you ask for that menu. It's honestly an excellent deal and so worth it! I plan to go back for their lunch special and/or dinner again soon

Great service! Server kept checking on us. came on Sunday for happy hour half price sushi. The Caesar salad was pretty good. The playboy roll is great roll as usual along with the fire visuals. However the dynamite roll seemed dry as u can see in the photo. It needed some sauce/spicy mayo. Oldie but goldie.

Food was good. Service was good as well. We did the $50 menu for two. Sushi was interesting.

This was one of my favorite dining experiences since moving to Indy a couple years ago. The inside was both cozy and inviting, the staff was very attentive and kind, the the sushi was truly incredible. I haven't had good sushi like this in a very long time. I love the different types of sushi rolls offered. I definitely will come back for 1/2 off rolls Sundays 4-10pm again.

Popped in for dinner over Summer Devour. Started out with the 45 degree salad, the chicken lettuce wraps (which were a bit soupy, but generous chunks of chicken and good flavor...although odd choice to serve with romaine), then the crab stuffed tilapia, which came on top of a bed of rice and some asparagus. Overall it is a good deal -- 2, 3 course meals for $45.

If you are looking for a nice sushi restaurant in downtown Indianapolis to take family who are visiting, Forty Five Degrees is a must! The atmosphere of the restaurant is super modern but comfortable. The hostess greeted us with a smile and got us seated right away, even though it was 5:30 PM on a Friday. Our server was super attentive and polite. We had a few questions about allergies and recommendations and he came prepared with thoughtful answers. We each got one of their fall seasonal drinks. The sleepy hollow was exceptional! Then, got some appetizers. For a group of three, the crab rangoon was not enough. They gave three pieces that were extremely flavorful, but not filled with much. We each got the ginger salad which was also delicious. While the dressing isn't physically noticeable, you definitely taste the bold flavors. The portion was perfect as well. Two of us got sushi (Hawaiian roll and spider roll). No complaints! Incredible flavor and you can definitely tell they've mastered their sushi rolls. The third person in our group got a BBQ pork tenderloin. It was a little tough to cut through and a bit dry, but the extra dressing on the side made up for it. The Brussel sprouts were perfectly salted and the wasabi potatoes were just the right amount of spicy. While Forty Five Degrees is a bit pricey if you go during the week, 1/2 price sushi on Sundays is definitely worth it. They serve a wide variety of food items to accommodate all types of food and the service was incredible. Overall, very pleased with this restaurant. Worth the money if you're looking for great-tasting sushi.

I wish could give half points as this to me is 3.5 not just a 3 which isn't bad imo as it's a nice choice for sushi especially on Sundays for their half price sushi. Nothing special yet nothing bad to say. The sushi was fresh and the service was great. Love this little spot when looking to get out for a quick dinner or lunch.

After exploring the Bottleworks District, we swung into Forty Five Degrees and were immediately drawn to their open-air patio--such a great spot to relax and people-watch! The vibe is slightly upscale but approachable, offering a mix of Americanized dishes and a decent-sized sushi menu. We ordered a few chef's specialty rolls along with some sake, and everything was well-executed. The rolls were nicely balanced in flavor and texture, and I appreciated that they were cut proportionally--none of those awkward oversized pieces. Overall, it was a pleasant experience sitting on the patio and enjoying a quick bite. It's a solid choice if you're in the area and craving sushi in a casual yet polished atmosphere!

We came here for my cousin's birthday the Saturday before Mother's Day! It was not busy and we were grateful. Our service in the server was amazing. She was super sweet. I was a little disappointed in the lettuce wraps... I feel like I could've made it at home! It was lettuce and chicken only... No pineapples, no carrots, or no other added vegetable to make it more of a wrap feel. The environment, however, was nicer, it looks like some remodeling has been done. I was looking for a picture on yelp of the lettuce wraps and did not see it so I hope my picture can help someone else in the future.

Had the perfect Friday night with friends drinking cocktails and having sushi!! The whole restaurant was alive and moving, despite the rainy weather outside. There was a bourbon to handing out samples and the bar was full and loud!! The sushi was amazing and fresh, you could taste every flavor described in the rolls. I can't wait to go back again!

We were greeted at the door. Friendly staff. The bathrooms were clean. I get the same thing everytime, which is the ultimate veggie roll/tempura. My mocktail was too sweet. But overall, I had a great experience.

Went for devour Indy. I was not impressed. They had nice mixed drinks- Blueberry lemon drop Pomegranet Margarita Titos vodka and soda 45 degree special The chicken egg rolls were dry in my opinion. The miso soup had a very strong seaweed taste. Maybe it's supposed to be like that I just didn't prefer it. The Teriyaki chicken entree was the best part. I like the taste especially with some wasabi

I want to start off by saying this was a large group (8 top) on a week night. That being said, the service was sub par. I ordered a beer and didn't receive until after everyone else had been served. I also didn't receive my order (spicy tuna roll) until several minutes after everyone had been served. The server told me that they had to slice a new fish for my roll... that was the delay... sure. The roll itself was fine. Glad I didn't come hungry. It definitely had room to fit all of us without a reservation so that was nice but oof would I avoid it if I could.

Ordered over the phone for pickup. Girl who I was transferred to took great care with my order offering up suggestions and substitutions. When I arrived she had lovingly packed it and included everything for me to eat as my dinner on the airplane. The male bartender jumped in and rung me up as she prepared other to-go orders. Real team work. And pleasant. No great picks since I jostled it a bit in a cross-Chicago airport sprint between connecting flights. Close up on leftovers that survived.

This was my second time dinning at forty-five degrees. I had the orange glazed chicken. The meal comes with a bed of rice, broccoli and orange chicken garnished with an orange slice. Loved the playboy roll a bit spicy but they light it on fire at your table. More expensive than other sushi restaurants but the experience was worth it. Ambience was very nice and felt like an expensive dinner out.

We came here on a Thursday night because I have had sushi on my tastebuds and we also wanted to enjoy some cocktails too. The plus side of Thursday's is they have $5 off of their drinks on Thursdays which roughly makes them about half price. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I could substitute out the meats I wanted in the sushi which worked great for me since I don't eat crab or shrimp. The place was not busy at all and pretty quiet which I'm not sure if that is a typical Thursday or if it was because it's Halloween; either way you might want to try a Thursday night to have the place to yourself. Because it was empty it was quiet and our waitress was on top of it! For my first drink I ordered something off of the seasonal menu, it was a peach mule. It as disgusting. I can't even give a good description of the flavor because it was so bad, and I was very disappointed. Mi Amor ordered a bourbon cherry drink of some sort and while it was terrible he was not thrilled about it either. For my next drink I went with a classic Lemon Drop Martini and it definitely was a lot better than the seasonal drinks. For sushi we ordered different versions of them and substituted in salmon. One of them was an orange something and I honestly can't remember the others. The playing was funny as our first ones came out looking great but nothing extra. We were both still a little hungry so we ordered more sushi and this one came out with flowers on it! It was so cute!! This place is great for an affordable way to try different types of sushi and I would come again.

I came in thinking I'd grab the lunch special but ended up getting a specialty roll. The lunch special only offers the basic rolls with a soup or salad. I can tell the food is made to order because when it came out, it was fresh. Service was amazing. The staff is so friendly and very attentive. Was able to walk in and take a seat. Lots of windows so very light and bright with nice music playing. If it's your first time, like mine, lunch is a great time to try. Mass Ave gets busy at night and on the weekends so parking could probably be a headache. I would definitely come back and try some more rolls.

Food was great. Our server was on it, within a couple seconds of our food being ready it was on our table (we were next to the service counter). I like that the tables weren't too close together and they also have lots of outdoor seating. We went on a Sunday around 430pm (half price sushi time). We got 5 rolls (black widow, fire dragon, Godzilla, zen, corona) as well as yellow tail sashimi, scallop nigiri, and eel nigiri. My stand outs were the black widow #1 then the Godzilla roll. My spouse really enjoyed the corona roll as well as their yellow tail sashimi and scallop nigiri. They said it was really fresh raw fish. They also said it was the best scallop they've ever had. The yellow tail pieces were a good size too. All and all good and we will be coming back next time we're in Indy. Bonus: it was my birthday so they offered a free dessert. I was recommended the dessert roll and it did not disappoint. It was gorgeous and I think they make their own whipped cream. We also ended up getting the creme brulee cheesecake, also good.

This place is okay. The service is friendly, but the sushi is subpar unless you order one of the more expensive rolls. For instance, with the spicy tuna, spicy salmon, and california rolls, the filling is lacking and the rolls are always wrapped quite sloppy. If I had to choose, the best rolls on the menu are the Mount Fuji and Thai Kiss. The Thai Kiss is pretty unique with red snapper tempura, asparagus, scallions, avocado, cheesy spicy crab mix, seared ahi tuna, pineapple mango salsa, and thai chili sauce. That one was quite flavorful!

Half price sushi on Sundays is must! The ambiance has a nice modern upscale atmosphere. Rock n Roll sushi rolls is a option.

Despite passing 45 degrees every time I go to Mass Ave, it had been years since I'd visited. As I looked for parking, I noticed how busy they were. A great evening and busy restaurant. Always good to see in Indy now days. We opted for an inside seat and ended up just outside the kitchen. It felt odd at first, but was totally fine! Thursday is half price cocktails and martinis and I was immediately glad my partner picked here. I'm a sucker for someone who likes a good deal. I started with the blueberry lemon drop martini and veggie rolls. Everything was great! I was even able to successfully use my chopsticks (it's the small things at times). I'll be back soon!

I am from Hawaii. The sushi there 4 inches in diameter. The sushi here? I could NOT TASTE the rice win vinegar in the rice. The rice was bland with some type of fish on it, which tasted very fishy. Then there was a slice of lime thrown on it there they called it a Colada? YUCK! This is what it tasted like to me... bland rice with fishy tasting fish and I could see the lime but couldn't taste it. I stomached 3 but couldn't take it anymore. I seriously was sick. I returned the item. My fiancé had shrimp alfredo I think? What it tasted like to me... bland beef soup and was very greasy, th8n and runny. It had 3 pieces of shrimp in it & for the price? Heavens no! We will not go back there. Shaen mentioned this to the Manager and he told is every business establishment makes alfredo sauce differently and that is the way they make theirs. I was shocked. Also, the size of the sushi? It was 1 1/2" in diameter compared to the sushi in China Town, Oahu, 4". Nope NOT going here again. Management was nice when the meal was late and my fiancé got 2 additional drinks on the house per the Management because our food took so long BUT when we returned our meals, we were changed for the 2 additional drinks. Very rude!!! The atmosphere was beautiful but I noticed an Middle Eastern Indian couple with their daughter, had been waiting for a long time for their food. We were getting ready to leave when the manager said our meal was ready. So wait time was much too long. Approximately 20 minutes and my fiancé ordered a drink, which he never got before our meal arrived. One would think he would've gotten it first but nope. It came out with the meal. This was sad service.

Finally day of Devour Winter fest had to come here. They had 2 for $45 -3 course meals. This is an outstanding sushi restaurant. Not only is the food remarkable but the presentation is stellar. It's in a great location on Mass Ave. we came on Sunday and meter parking is free, a nice bonus. They have a stuffed pepper appetizer I'll definitely be back for. It's filled with rice scallops and shrimp. The egg-rolls were really good along with the ginger salad. The specialty sushi was my favorite. They have an Indy roll and Mass Ave and others. Cant wait to try a few others.

This was our first visit and we decided to come during Devour Indy. All I can say is WOW! We loved this place. We came for lunch and it wasn't overly crowded but it also wasn't a ghost town (which is always the best IMO). We were greeted immediately and offered our choice of tables. Our server, Autumn, was really friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and their offerings. Her excellent service continued throughout the meal, well paced check ins and brought the check expeditiously when appropriate. The food!!! It was soooo good. We started with the edamame and added the Tequila Blast. I am really glad we upgraded, it made the flavor unique. Edamame should always be warm, IMO, and this was. Lots of salt too (could be a negative for some but it was great for us). I also tried the Tomato Jalapeño soup and the tortilla croutons with the cheese garish was fantastic. My partner had the 45 Salad, and he ate every bite so it must have been pretty good. As for the main/rolls, I love that they offer soy paper. I love sushi but am not really a fan of nori. I got the 45 Roll and my partner got the amount Fuji roll. I loved mine and he loved his as well. Everything about our experience was great. We loved the music and that it wasn't too loud. Fantastic first experience here and we will definitely be back. Excited to plan a return visit.

My family and I met up at Forty Five Degrees to enjoy the Devour Winter Menu for lunch. There were 5 of us in our party and we were seated at one of the nice, round booths in front of the window facing Mass Ave. We really enjoyed the bright, open dining room and the raised seating. Audrey was our server and she was attentive while not being too eager or smothering. She was very approachable and made some good suggestions. I wanted to order a cocktail and wanted to decide between two options. She suggested the Strawberry Cooler and it was a nice detour from the types of drinks I usually order. I admit that I couldn't taste the alcohol, but I was able to sip it with my meal, which was nice! From the Devour Menu, my aunt and I ordered Potstickers as our first course (even though it was served 2nd, following our 2nd courses) and those were served hot & fresh! 10/10! My aunt didn't know what a potsticker was, but she is now a fan. For our second courses, I ordered Miso Soup (a favorite of mine) and my aunt ordered the Forty Five Degrees Salad. The Miso Soup was bland and tasted like water with seaweed and tofu floating in it. I was thoroughly disappointed. 0/10. My aunt really enjoyed her salad and I wished I'd ordered that instead. The majority of our food began arriving all at once, meaning that they were all fired at the same time and that was bad timing, in my opinion. I was also disappointed that our server didn't inquire about my full cup of soup. Aside from the taste, it was also cold when it came out. I would have liked if they offered to allow me to order something else in its place. I also order the Bangkok Shrimp which turned out to be the best item of the meal. It's not on the Devour Menu, but it is delicious. I deducted a point for the excessive amount of shredded cabbage/lettuce at the bottom of the cup. It presents as much more shrimp in the cup than there actually is. 9/10. Our main dishes were Chicken Teriyaki for me and Chicken Alfredo for my aunt. Both were suggestions from the server. I was told that the Chicken Teriyaki was the most popular item on the Devour Menu and it was underwhelming in flavor. It was very saucy, but somehow the chicken was still dry. My aunt was deciding between chicken and shrimp for her alfredo and was advised that you only get 4 shrimp, but with the chicken, you get a full breast. My aunt's chicken was also dry and she said the alfredo sauce needed more cheese. She took hers home to "doctor it up." In summary, everything that we had wasn't the best ever, but the service was good and the food came out fast. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere and presentation of the dishes. I'll return for the potstickers, Bangkok shrimp and to try some of the other menu items!

I like the sushi here. It's off mass ave so it's a prime location. They do have non sushi food operations, so it's a good place for groups who want a variety. Great ambiance. Good service. A bit expensive, but sushi isn't cheap. The outside dining area is great! Dog friendly.

I love the presentation of their sushi! It's so pretty. Half off on Sunday sushi too! Great deal! I take work friends here when they are in town. It's an easy walk for them from bottle works hotel. Parking can be difficult so you may need to walk a block. The servers are good and some are absolutely hilarious! Looking forward to going today actually!!

I love 45 degrees, it is a great place on mass Ave, however I ordered some take out because I was craving sushi! My order was very tasty, fresh and delicious, Decided to also order some crab Rangoon, it was also great, flavorful and the dipping sauce that came with it was the perfect addition! Check this place out if you are on mass Ave, you won't be disappointed!

good sushi for a good price. service was unfortunately very slow and usually i'm forgiving since i'm a server as well. no refills, no checking on us for nearly an hour, and had to wait ten minutes after asking for the check to receive it. the food was great though and the restaurant is very nice inside and clean and looks great

I came here for dinner and had the shrimp scampi with a blueberry lemon drop, and everything was amazing! The scampi was super filling--plenty of shrimp and perfectly cooked pasta--and the drink was strong but really tasty (definitely recommend if you like fruity cocktails with a little kick--and a yummy sugary rim). i also had the french 45 and that was super strong and on the brut side if you like that kind of thing. The vibe was cute and modern but got nice and cozy once the lights dimmed later in the evening. It felt just right for a first date--relaxed but still a little fancy. My date said they enjoyed their food and drinks too, so that's a win! And the service was low key, and attentive which is what i prefer If you're looking for a spot with good food, great drinks, and a chill but romantic atmosphere, this is definitely worth checking out

Pretty solid option if you're looking for a downtown sushi restaurant. Their menu is a bit heavy on the cream cheese rolls and rolls that use asparagus so if either of those is up your alley this is a good spot for you. I think it's a little overpriced but they do have weekly deals and the Sunday happy hour is great!

Forty Five overall was a good experience! Went on a Saturday night and the vibes were very fun. It was lively and there was fun music playing. They have fun drinks that were all pretty good. Our server was nice and attentive. Our friend didn't get his food until the rest of us were done eating. Overall it was a good experience. More of a party vibe rather than an intimate date night. Perfect place for Saturday night dinner and drinks!

I went to forty five degrees for dinner with a large group and they were able to get our orders to us in a timely manner. The service was great! I tried several types of sushi and they were all delicious. There is an extensive sushi roll list and the potstickers were also very good. Definitely some of the best sushi I have had in Indy. However, I did not enjoy my entree. The portion size was decent but my mashed potatoes were lumpy, and it was swimming in the salty bourbon glazed sauce from the salmon. The salmon was also overcooked. The brocolli was also bland but overall it was a good experience.

I went to celebrate my birthday with my friends, I've been there once before a year ago, and I loved it, going back last night was just as awesome as it was last year. The only difference was that they no longer have half off sushi. We tried the three different rolls, the Salmon Diablo, Rock n Roll, and Playboy, all amazing, all so flavorful and beautifully presented. We got a drink, I don't remember it's name, but it had jalapeño in it, and we had a rose pedal mixed drink, if I'm being honest, they tasted watered down and didn't have much of a flavor, which is why I'm giving 4 stars. Our server was very nice, super attentive, and made he made sure to take care of all of our question, lastly, I was surprised that it was not as packed as I had seen it once before, which was nice, I felt like the atmosphere was super chill, more relaxed. Overall, a good experience and would recommend.

Want sushi in the Midwest?? Definitely come here. The sushi is good and varied. (Pretty sure we ordered one of almost everything including rolls and sashimi). The odd part of the menu..... the random Americanish plates for those offended by the thought of some raw fish. I don't know I personally would roll out in a date with someone who ordered Alfredo or chicken tenders at a sushi place.... But maybe someone's grumpy uncle demanded it and on the menu it went. Anyway... the rolls and sashimi were fresh. The mighty veggie was a hit even among the vegetable speculative. The brownie dessert is amazing with the melty chips in the warm brownie.

Great service, great atmosphere!! Another great review for Forty Five Degrees! I got a ginger salad with a Corona Roll. My boyfriend got an Indy Roll with a Spicy Yellowtail Roll for us to share:-) Everything was delicious! The Indy Roll is my new favorite. Can't wait for the outdoor seating to open up when it gets warmer out!

This was a last minute decision, but this place was really nice. The staff was great, the food excellent & the ambiance was relaxing. Sydney & Lilah we're amazing & helped us decide what options were great to try as first timers. There were couples on dates, groups of friends & people who were there unwinding after work (it seemed). They also has entree options aside from sushi for those who don't like sushi.

Decided to step out of the office and enjoy the sun. I sat outside. Different points I felt like my server took a while to come to me or that it took a while for my food to come out (it was SUPER chill. Not busy at all). However, the nice weather helped. I did the orange chicken lunch special. LOVED the veggie egg rolls. I would have appreciated more sauce on my orange chicken as that held all the flavor. The rice was kind of mushy opposed to like sticky white rice. I also had a sushi roll. I believe it was the Diablo. I got the salmon cooked. Soooo yummy with the dipping sauce that came with it. My server gave a beautiful nice touch on BOTH of my to go boxes that was appreciated because she didn't have to write a small note. I left very pleased

We stopped by here on Friday night around 10 PM and were quickly seated. Fortunately, we didn't need to make any reservations, but I do recommend it if you come to normal service. Our server was kind and gave his own recommendations. We had our water refilled often as well. The drinks we received were a Mojito and Sex on the Ave (not pictured). We ended up getting a Dynamite and Playboy Roll. The experience for the Playboy Roll was pretty interesting being provided a foil-wrapped sushi log and then being lit on fire. The sushi was a little expensive and we were also informed that the crab was imitation crab, which I guess is to be expected. The sushi was pretty standard but still good. There were a nice variety of items. We ordered a brownie (no picture, unfortunately) for dessert as well. Being new to Indy, our server was gracious enough to provide us with recommendations of places to check out in the area. Overall, I'd still recommend trying this place out if you're interested in their cocktails.

Came here with a friend and I forgot how much I actually loved this place in college! I ordered a salmon roll and vegetable egg rolls and both items were delicious. The waiter was kind enough to give me an extra side of spicy mayo for my roll. In addition, he was super attentive and patient with us as we scanned the menu for drinks. Ultimately, I decided on a cucumber mojito which was so refreshing. I also enjoy the fact that they have a bar inside and plenty of seating. Overall a fun night and great food!

I appreciate you trying to do sushi along with a list of other things. But when a person goes out to a "sushi restaurant" and orders tea I personally would have appreciated getting a heads up that you serve lipton tea in single serve tea bags. Just sayin

Went for an afternoon lunch with my friend. As it was not rush hour, me and friend occupied the center table. Food - 5/5 ordered a lunch special where we can get soup/ salad and rolls. tomato jalapeño soup - extremely extremely good. Had feta cheese and jalapeños in it. veggie roll - good sushi role. Ambience - go for afternoon lunch when it's less crowded. Service - our server was a nice lady. She was nice and considerate about everything.
