Foster's Donuts

One of the very last "original" remaining "Foster Donuts". The others serve lunch and have donuts shipped in from outside sources. This Fosters makes the donuts on site and sticks with the original recipes. So, if you want the real thing, come to this location! The young lady working in there was very pleasant, patient and helpful! Patience is a very important virtue to have working behind a donut counter. It's a hard decision between all those wonderful looking donuts! Another added bonus was that I noticed the donuts are much bigger than donuts in other shops!

I've been buying my donuts here since forever. Always fresh and decently sized, I love their maple bars, cinnamon rolls, and cream filled donuts. My kids love the chocolate bars. The staff are very nice and always make you feel valued as a customer.

This place has donuts. Nothing spectacular but just reliably a good place to get donuts. The owner seems friendly so icing on the cake

Kind people and their donuts are the best. My favorite has to be the chocolate chip donut bar with chocolate fudge filling. 10/10 it’s the best

I used to go here in middle school all the time to the point where they recognized me every time I go. In high school I walked in and they remembered what I’d always get. But now since I moved there’s no other place that will replace this Foster’s Donuts. {If they are reading this, I graduated but not working. Had 2 surgeries, will be having my 3rd.} I 100% recommend this donut shop out of all donut shops in existence.

The donuts here are fresh and yummy. They must use fresh oil and take care when making their donuts. I have fond memories of eating these donuts as a teenager 35 years ago, so I stopped in and everything is the same. Definitely enjoy the chocolate football! #treatyourself

I placed a Grubhub order with them, ordered 1 dozen mixed donuts, 1 dozen donut holes and two glazed bars. I got a chocolate bar, a raised glazed and the dozen donut holes. When I tried asking the driver where the dozen was he said that was all he was given sorry. So I figured I would call the donut shop, she told me that it was not on the order regardless of my having proof from my Grubhub order menu and that was that. She would not give me anything more. So I had to dispute the order to at least get some of my money back since I paid for something I didn’t even get. Now maybe I was just upset, but the worst part was that the donuts I DID receive weren’t even that good. Not stale like they were old, they were fluffy like they were fresh. Just not as good of quality or flavor as my usual donut shop. Definitely won’t be ordering from this place again.

This donut shop is in the plaza on lassen and desoto with Pizza Hut and next to the laundromat. The parking is a bit tight. The store is on the edge and open 24 hours. Went there on a Sunday around 1pm and the selection wasn't that great but they had enough staples where you would be fine. Not much seating inside and kinda bland in there but if you're looking for a donut, this place works. 2 donuts were $3.35

Great service. Great food. The croissant sandwiches are very tasty and the donuts are so fresh this place should be called fresh donuts. With a big sitting area, looks like a lot of people come here

We ordered via Uber Eats. If you want to get ripped off, order from this place! I'm stunned at how small their bagels are and how they prepare the sandwiches. The stinginess is astonishing! They don't even use good ham and forgot to add bacon. Never again!

This was my go to donut shop to get donuts for work or any special occasion. They way they use to double glaze a lot of the donuts was did it for me. But now they changed it! The chocolate donuts are standard glazed and the maple donuts are made just like any other donut shop. Now to find another one, because these donuts I can get anywhere. One of the employees gave me the option to order ahead if I wanted them in any special way I wanted. I have no time to do that when you are super busy.

This is a very nice family business! Great service, good coffee and donuts. Always fresh. Always a 5 out of 5.

Over $6 for 4 glazed donuts? wtf? I normally go to the donut shop in the Trader Joe's parking lot but they were out of almost everything so I went to Foster's. Not an inviting place like people said. They don't want you to eat there. Parking lot is rough too.

I stop in this morning to get a dozen of donuts and when I got to the car I open the box to get a donut, and I had notice that there were little bugs moving around in the box they gave me. I took the donuts that were in the box back inside where there was an Asian guy and he to me no refund no nothing, and to get out of his store. I then thank him for his time and left. Please check you donuts before you leave that donut shop.

Just another donut shop with the same standard donuts like the rest. Difference is no place to sit and open 24 hours. Weak Tasting Kirkland Coffee like the rest too. Not very friendly people run it and it's dirty and shop worn. OK parking.

Today was the last straw i went in for a ham and cheese croissant and got to work and took a bite and no cheese i opened up the whole thing and no cheese at all. This place really went down the shit whole this place was the best about 2 years ago. I am use to stop by almost everyday. But who ever the new owner is they must be really cheap everything looks like i was made half ass. The quality really went down. You lost a long time customer.

This place is terrible. Claims to be open 24 hours but clearly Isn't. If I could give zero stars I would. I saw two people chilling in there in the dark. Knocked on the door and they waved at me goodbye. If you aren't open 24 hours then DON'T ADVERTISE AS SUCH. I drove 15 mins here only for them to be closed. Don't recommend anyone come here. Get rid of these signs as this is false advertisement. Never coming here because of the terrible customer service/false advertising.

I moved houses so I don't live near the shop anymore. Today {Saturday June 4, 2022, I went to Angel Donuts and the chocolate chip cinnamon roll donut was delicious but not as amazing as theirs. I 100% recommend this donut shop out of all donut shops in existence.

Foster's Donuts on De Soto always has incredible customer service and fresh donuts. I buy 11 dozen donuts and 11 dozen donut holes for work every week for the past 4-5 months and have been pleased every time! I highly recommend! They are well received and looked forward to at work every week!

Stop by here at least once a week. Donuts always fresh and yummy. Everyone is super friendly. It's super clean. They have a huge variety of sweet sweet donuts one can indulge in. Love this place. They have great Christmas donuts too.

***PLEASE CONSIDER SELLING OLD DONUTS AT A DISCOUNTED RATE INSTEAD PASSING THEM OFF AS FRESH TO AVOID TRASHING THEM**** This is starting to get ridiculous. I know this is a business that needs to make a profit but they're fresh raised donuts are way too good to constantly be sold old and stale. Went Saturday morning 2/15/20 and got soft amazing almost melt in my mouth donuts. Go this morning 2/17/20 to MORE stale donuts. I've noticed whenever its the older woman working in the morning the donuts are stale and she lies about them being fresh but I never have this issue when the older man or younger girl are on shift. What is up?!?! Some of the best donuts I've ever had and I've been coming here for years. Unfortunately the most recent time I came in they were stale. That was pretty surprising given it was National Donut Day so you'd think they'd been fresh but that was only a one time thing so I can't hold it against them. I still recommend! ***UPDATED REVIEW*** I am extremely disappointed. I literally just reviewed Foster's giving 4 stars but I mentioned their stale donuts as a one time thing however I went in this morning to yet again, STALE OLD DONUTS! I even asked the woman behind the counter if this batch is fresh because the last time I came in they weren't. She was slow to answer (which should've been a sign) and claimed they had just been made this morning. I always get 1 round glaze and 1 cake donut. I took a bite of the glaze to be sure and it was fine so I left. Not long after (maybe 15 minutes) I go to eat the cake donut and it's HORRIBLE! It was so hard and, it had a strange almost dish soap taste. It's one thing to have a stale donut every once in awhile, I get it, but to have stale donuts at 9:00am and then LIE about them being fresh is unacceptable.

I love this donut shop!!! Deeeelicouse fresh donuts 24/7 So delicous, we ordered them for 2 baby showers. They always have these beautiful donuts. So I asked if she could decorate them in blue and white...she said yes! They were sooooo cute, soooooo delicous and a hit at the shower!!!! Leslie did an amazing job! And the set up by amber ambers_party_boutique...made it all fall perfectly in place.

I love the donuts here! It is always freshly baked !!! And hooraaay!!! they are always open 24/7 !!! The family that owns the donut shop are very nice, very accomodating & very friendly. I love this place. It gives me happy & positive vibes.

I bought a croissant with egg cheese n jalapeño and it was bad The taste was terrible like rotten egg or something n I asked for a refund n they gave me attitude n refunded me only one dollar when I pad 4 for it . Second and last time.....both times STALE donuts. This time was a larger chocolate chip thats 1.95. What a waste of a couple bucks, my time, and calories!! Last time , it was a stale old fashioned. Fail! I'll have a donut once ever other full moon or less.... and it better be good. The no name place directly diagonal to this place is much better.

I walked over from the laundromat. Once I walked in I was greeted right away by a gentleman. Their is a .95 cent charge if you plan on purchasing with your debit card. The donuts are freshly made and had a good variety for display. Also, freshly hot brewed coffee that's ready and a cuppacinno machine.

Best donuts in town! If your looking to please your work place, kids or looking for a sweet treat to take to a party this donut shop is a must. Donuts are taste delicious and larger than your typical donuts. They'll also write a message on any donut. Stop by and check them out!

Looks a bit grungy but don't let the outer appearance fool you. Donuts are the best I have tasted. Everything from their football donut, apple fritters, glazed buttermilk were exquisite. One let down was their jelly fill. Would be better if they used a better quality fill but their other donuts makeup for their shortcoming of the jelly.

This is my hubby's FAVORITE donut spot. I came for his birthday-which happens to land in Nat'l Donut Day. They went above and beyond. She even wrote a message to my hubby. This place is TOP NOTCH!!!!

Awesome selection of huge donuts, as well as the little ones with sprinkles. Lovely people as well. I'll stop in again and get a dozen for the guys next time I'm in SoCal.

(Said in my best Dos Equis voice) I don't always eat donuts, but when I do, I prefer Foster's Donuts. It is my belief that you need to go big or go home ... and these donuts fit the bill. The glazed donut is quite possibly the best I've ever had. Super fluffy, airy, not greasy and with just the right amount of glaze (not too much but not too little either). I also tried their cronuts in a variety of flavors (plain, cream cheese, lemon and strawberry). A hybrid between a donut and a croissant, it's flaky, yet not dry and has a generous dusting of powdered sugar on top. My personal fav is the cream cheese, but they were all delicious. The fifth star is for the sweet couple who I assume are the owners, who were so nice and helpful and also for the price. Stay hungry my friends.

Great family owners, Great donuts, and they care about the community and their customers. Today they went above and beyond and made a special bunny decorated donut for my daughter and bunny decorated donut-whole for her little sister. They care about the quality of their donuts and passion for the community through weekly charitable donations. Best Donut Shop!

A decent donut place! the donuts are huge and yummy. They have a very hole in the wall appeal to them. Next door to a laundromat which is very convenient. Easy parking. Didn't try the coffee. It seemed busy on a Sunday morning. No complaints. Pretty cheap too!

First time here. They had a special if you buy a dozen donuts you get an additional two for free. Which cost $9.70 A fair price but unfortunately the time I went there weren't a lot of donut selections. I came here because I saw all the yummy donuts pictures people posted on yelp but they're were out. Just had those original donut flavors like maple, glaze, sugar, and sprinkles. The donuts are yummy just wish I would've been able to try to special ones I also got an ice blended vanilla latte from here because it cost $3.75 which is way less then Starbucks. And it tastes really good. The old gentleman working was also very nice. I would totally give them 5 stars if they keep the donuts stocked. Maybe next time I visit I can change it to 5 stars. So if you're looking for yummy and affordable donuts you should check them out. Especially those late nights when you're craving donuts cause they're open 24/7

First time in that donut shop and wow. The maple bars by far the best I've had in a long time and that's a long shot from my go to spot. 2.50 for two great bars for breakfast dipped in ice cold milk. I'll be back next time i ever come by in the area around breakfast time. Well stocked. Clean. Nice lady . Fast service. Fair price. Can't beat that for a cheap breakfast.

THEY GLAZE ALL THEIR DONUTS SO BEAUTIFULLY nd it's so yummy the whole donut is always coated in glaze beforehand if you get like maple or chocolate which makes it taste so good and the owners are so sweet it really is the best local donut place around

Pretty damn sure these are the best damn donuts in the West SFV. Can't speak to the coffee (I'll have to try a cup sometime) but the donuts are the bomb.

Owner is a nice and the donuts are good. I'm giving it 4 stars because the place really needs a good remodeling to look cleaner. The floors need to be redone and the walls repainted.

I gotta say this place totally lived up to my expectations from the other Yelp reviews. I was randomly in the area visiting family who was in town and turned to Yelp for recommendations for a good non Yum-Yum doughnut shop. This place definitely fit the bill. All the doughnuts were fresh and tasty and they had a very good variety. The family definitely ate these up. I have to say the one that stood out leaps and bounds over the rest though was the cronut. I had never had a cronut before, described as a mix between a croissant and a doughnut so I was a little hesitant, even though I like both thinking it might be dried out or something, but it wasn't it was flaky and delicious and magical like a pegasus mixed with a unicorn. I got the nutella one because I love nutella and it was like they sprinkled crack in there, I cannot wait to go back. Next time I would definitely order more cronuts!!!!!

I prefer this place over Krispy Kreme!!! Their glaze donuts are super soft and fluffy. I always have my cousin bring me their donuts from this place when she visits me...since I live pretty far from here. The service is good and the people there are nice. I definitely recommend this place for fresh and yummy donuts.

I've been going here since middle school never had an issue always give me free donuts always nice to see you smile very courteous no issues once again very clean love it I would go over and over and over and over and over if I could the best place to get a good donut.

Biggest donuts you will have ever have. Everything is made fresh daily, and it is open 24/7. No one else in the immediate area can say that. And you get two free donuts with a dozen.

Thursday October 3rd. By the time I arrived the lovely older man was closing. Since, I am new to the area and I will be stopping by frequently - I wanted to get familiarized with the plaza. While, my dad was ordering Domino's, the Hubby and I decided to explore. The older Asian man told me politely, "We are closing but, what would you like"? I asked for a Thai Tea. I am not sure but, I think he deducted the price. Thank you if you did! I wish him an the Donut Shop success. I will be stopping by soon.

Just tried the donuts here. Was delicious! I had the ham and cheese croissant sandwich and it was big! I also ate one sprinkled donut as well. The service was really nice and will definitely come back here again when I'm back in the valley! Would recommend you try this place out if you ever get the chance!

The donuts here are really good but if you want a breakfast sandwich I suggest you go to sweetberry donuts down the road. I came into fosters today because it was on my way home and the guy wasn't really helpful at all. I ended up just getting a plain croissant because he refused to not put cheese on the sandwich that I wanted. Also, I suggest you bring cash because I had to use my card and they have a 95 cent fee in order to process it when all the other places generally charge like 35 cents. The stale croissant that I didn't really want definitely was not worth the three dollars I ended up spending on it. I'm probably never coming back here, Sweetberry is so much better.

I always pass by this donut shop on my way to work and one day I finally decided to stop by in the morning and grab a couple donuts, and I was pleasantly surprised. The shop honestly looks like a janky hole-in-the-wall type of place and I wasn't expecting much when I decided to get some donuts. But it was honestly one of the best donuts I've had. The texture is perfect and taste is very rich. Frosting isn't too overbearingly sweet, it goes perfect with a cup of black coffee. The owners are nice as well. I would give this place 5 stars but one of the employees there, a younger lady, she packed me the wrong donut once which I was annoyed but understood it to be a mistake. However, the next couple times I went back, she consistently kept grabbing the wrong donuts and I had to correct her which pestered me so I'm giving it 4 stars. The owners should teach her to listen to the customers carefully and grab the right donuts. Definitely should try this place if you are in the area.

The donuts here are huge, delicious, and worth every inexpensive dime. I had the ham & cheese croissant (a classic for me), as well as the strawberry jelly donut. You can tell that the owner here clearly cares about the quality of the pastries because of the freshness and generous portions. The young lady in the front was very nice and helpful, made sure I was covered on all bases (coffee, napkins, water). Will definitely come back here, and it might become my new regular donut stop.

I love this donut shop the donuts are so fresh and they have so many varieties and coffe cake thats so good and hot out of the oven. They are yummy. And the staff is so nice and they sell fruit. But the real star here is the BBQ (yes I said BBQ) if u have ever had texas style brisket u know how its so moist it shreds in your hand. This is where u need to to brisket, tri-tip, chicken, brisket sandwich on a donut! and they have baked beans and 3 sauces mild, spicy, and habenero. You have to go try it just be sure to save me some :)
