My son & I have been going to Foundation since we moved to Florida 5 1/2 years ago. Alex & Peter are super cool and they have a large collection of vintage tee's, clothes & albums.

I visited twice and I’m impressed. Shirts are clean and decently priced. The owners are really cool and I can tell that they are passionate about this. I’m the one that bought the Ozzy shirt 🦇. I’m always down to support a small business and will definitely be back.

This place has the best collection of punk, new wave and classic rock. How do I know? I sold them my collection! Lots of band tees as well and a cool hang out for us aging hipsters as well as those of you discovering the sound!

As a NY’er who grew up in the real record shops of the 80s and 90s, Incan honestly say that this is the closest I’ve come to that since then. Alex and Peter are awesome and knowledgeable, and willing to help. They offer some of the coolest vinyl and vintage concert shirts around. As for me, they were super honest and fair with buying records. They knew their stuff and I was duly impressed. This is THE shop in Orlando.

Bought a pretty rare album and the process was flawless! They took the time to send me pictures, then packaged it securely and shipped it without any issue. I would trust and buy from them again. Thank you!

Google
Best record store in Orlando hands down (apologies to East West and Park Ave.)

As somebody who’s been invested in the music loving and record loving hobby, I can safely say that this is one of the better record stores in the greater Orlando Florida area. A lot of small shops that I have been to all over the country try to rip you off or don’t have a good selection, Foundation is the complete opposite. I can safely say that this is the best small record store selection and best prices I have seen in a long time. The vintage clothes they sell are awesome and they are always getting cool stuff in! Alex and Pete are two brothers that share a love and a passion for music, vintage, and making others happy. I have had a lot of conversations with them and I always find myself coming back for more. If you want a record or vintage store that’s better than most, this is the place to shop.

Google
Always friendly, always stocked with a good variety of musical styles. They also buy/trade records and vintage clothing. Brought them a stack of old records and 90’s bands tour shirts and walked away happy cash in hand. The owners are super nice guys. Support your local record store!

Yelp
I was a little early and showed up before they opened on a Sunday so I sat in my car outside in street parking. I had to wait until 10 after 10 because the person opening was running late. After going in he didn't talk to us and wasn't very personable. Even though the worker wasn't personable, I was impressed with their selection of Tshirts! They had a ton of great designs and ranges of styles and years! I'm a huge fan of oversized shirts and most I wanted were smalls/mediums, but overall I was highly impressed! They did have a few that were highly priced for the shirt, but overall prices were pretty decent!

Yelp
Known the brothers that own the shop for years. They have a keen sense for the unusual to mainstream and I have never left the store empty handed. Also have a vintage T section plus other bits of memoribilia. Well worth a visit whenever I'm in town.

Yelp
Run by two legit decent guys, offering fair decent prices, in a comfortable environment. Good conversation, good vibe. If you're into music plan on spending a little more time than expected!!!

Yelp
Everyone in the store was super helpful and nice! I was helped with picking out a blues record to start my collection and he played it for me while i looked around some more to make sure that I liked it. Prices were good and the overall customer was top tier! I would highly recommend checking this place out it's a gem!

Jeff S.

Yelp
Don't sell your records here, especially if you know what your records are worth. (Owner?) didn't look up any info on any of the records, clear as day, he had no idea what he was holding, or he did because I received $100 for my collection worth nearly $2000. Avoid this place

Yelp
Always a great stop. Combine great records with cute retro clothes and youve got a winner. The guys who work here are really knowledgeable. Check it and then grab a bite to eat on the same block.

Yelp
Peter and Alex are the most friendly, welcoming and down to earth people I've ever met. They have an awesome curated collection of vinyl records with some cassette tapes, t shirts, pins and hats. Even if you have no intention of making a purchase, stop in and take a look around I guarantee you'll find a piece of nostalgia and strike up an interesting conversation with Peter or Alex. Hubby and I love stopping in to take a look at their new arrivals, we always walk out with something good. I totally suggest checking this place out!

Yelp
I checked these guys out on my way out of town. Very small shop. Priced relatively decent, including a few rare/hard to find pieces. It gave me the impression of a vinyl collector who recently started their own store, inspired by their passion for vinyl. Mad respect there! They have a couple $5 dollar bins, but mostly everything else is priced and graded. Wish these guys the best going forward. Here's hoping they can grow their inventory and business as far as their dreams can imagine.

Yelp
I don't often visit Orlando. But a business trip took me there for a couple of days. I was astounded at the number of record stores there. I was SO glad that I picked Foundation as one of my three stops. My only regret: I did not have enough time to fully explore. Although it is a small shop, you need to spend some time here. Instead of sorting alphabetically by artist, they sort by price. It's different (to me, anyway), but not a bad system at all. However, you do not want to rush through the place as I did. Still, I came away with a couple of cool picks including one that was suggested to me by proprietor, Peter. I am old. And here's this young guy recommending a 70s group that I had never heard of (Captain Beyond). Great LP, BTW. Speaking of Peter...what a great guy! Very personable and knowledgeable. Cool vinyl is great. Even better when the merchant treats you like an old friend. Again, I truly wish that I had had a couple of hours to spend there. So go to Foundation and take a shovel with you. It's a safe bet that you'll dig up a gem or two!

Yelp
Best kept secret in Orlando, for now! I can't speak enough good on Foundation. Alex and Peter are some of the most down to earth, friendly, good dudes. Talking to them is like you're catching up with and old friend, very chill - makes stopping in and checking the records out an even better experience. The shop is conveniently located right off Edgewater Drive in College Park. Foundation stocks a wide selection of vinyls that are finely curated by the guys who clearly love music, as their shop certainly shows it. There is also a pretty decent selection of vintage t-shirts ranging from Looney Tunes and metal to some throwback 90s boy band shirts. Not to mention some pretty awesome jerseys from multiple sports teams. If you're in the area, or even if you're not - Foundation is definitely worth checking out. If you love music and vinyl records - this is my favorite vinyl shop in the entire Orlando area.

Yelp
Great selection of typical classic rock albums. If you're looking for Pink Floyd or The Beatles or Led Zeppelin or the Rolling Stones or Bob Dylan or David Bowie or Van Halen or Traffic or The Who or Ted Nugent or the like.... then they've got things you will be interested in. But in my opinion they're priced a little higher than they should be based on condition. Minimum price $5 for the most beat up, low-end versions. Those are typically $1 in most other stores. $10-$15 for entry level may be very good condition vinyl. $20-$75 is typically more the prices to expect.

Yelp
The owners are two bros who love their music, will talk about all subjects and are about as nice as humans you could ever meet. The stores stock while small is FANTASTIC. Hundreds of out of print records, some hard to find rares - all in superior condition. They sell some shirts too (sports and rock?) if that is your thing. Will come back again and again in the future.

Yelp
I am so happy I found this place. (I literally made a yelp account just to review it.) I grew up in Orlando but moved to Los Angeles four years ago, where vintage tees would cost me the price of one at Foundation. I used to go all the way to Daytona beach for vintage tees and record shopping but this place is killer. It's on the smaller side but they utilize the space SO well as have a great collection of stuff. I went in expecting to buy a record or two and walked out with a bunch of tees. Stop shopping at Forever 21 for vintage looks, shop local and get quality and history at the same (or cheaper!) prices. This is def a new fave spot to visit whenever I'm visiting. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

Yelp
First thing you feel walking in- relaxed. The guy who runs it is extremely welcoming and friendly. You don't get that judgey stare you might get elsewhere from the record connoisseur behind the counter. Your greeted from his chair, he explains how everything is categorized (which is excellent) and he helps you know what's in there based on what you like. Simple and quick. Not the usual back breaking digging through crates. It's not a big store, but to me that's a plus. Instead of being filled with records that no one wants, where you spend hours digging, at Foundation you get quality over quantity. He might not have thousands of records on the shelves but what is there is quality. You end up having to decide which ones to leave behind! Love the place. It's simple, friendly, quality, and affordable. An extremely hard combination to nail as a record store. Well done!

Yelp
I have been going here for a couple of years after my daughter told me about it. These guys are great - honest, friendly and fair. The quality, prices and selection are phenomenal for a small store and the customer service can not be beat. I have bought a few hundred dollars of albums and stereo equipment here and never a regret. After a mishap with a turntable I left to get repaired, they went out of their way to replace it with an even better quality turntable at no charge. I will be back again soon.

Yelp
Stopped by Foundation today and we were blown away by the quality and depth of their selection. Owners/brothers Alex and Peter were quality dudes who clearly take pride in their inventory, in the music, and the overall record collecting culture. Few things get us as excited or inspired as an awesome record shop run by good people, so today was a lot of fun for us. Can't wait to swing by the next time we're in Orlando!!!

Yelp
They have some really great stuff that is hard to find! The guy there was really helpful and knew what he was talking about, I made some great finds for a good price. If your in Orlando you should stop by.

Yelp
My favorite record store in Orlando, and I've been to them all. Amazing dollar bin finds, as well as attentive staff who remember your name and music preferences! My first choice every time I have a day off and go crate digging!

Yelp
Super cool local shop with a large selection of records. Friends and I walked in after brunch one Sunday to be greeted by the owner, who was great! He had a great selection of older R&B and soul (and a ton of other genres I don't listen to, but my friends who are more diverse in their tastes seemed very happy). I randomly asked for my favorite hip hop album (The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill). He had a brand new copy and was willing to place it on hold for me! I'll definitely go back and absolutely support this shop!

Yelp
Nice little record shop in the Orlando area. Friendly staff and willing to work with customers on the price. I'd give this a go once I'm back in the Orlando area.

Yelp
The guys at Foundation are the best. Selection is top shelf and they really know their stuff.

Yelp
This is a great shop to visit in Orlando. I love that the inventory is small, yet full of quality. It's not overwhelming, just perfect. I brought my two sons along. My 12 year old bought a vintage Magic Shaquille O'Neal jersey while my 10 year old found some rap albums that we haven't seen in other shops before (NWA, Snoop Dogg, Notorious BIG). I was able to find some great classic rock albums (Black Sabbath, Van Morrison, Rush, Bob Dylan) that I haven't found before at reasonable prices. There was something for everyone in my family! Best of all, the owner was fun to talk with, took an interest in the boys, and made our visit feel special. Keep up the great work! After visiting several other stores in Orlando this week, I would rate this at the top of the list.

Yelp
This place full of anything you can think of. Rock n' Roll, metal, jazz, funk they got it all. Great prices and they also sell record players for a steal and not that Crossley BS!

Yelp
Awesome little store in College Park! Some really great vinyl, vintage tshirts, and conversation. Keep up the great work!

Yelp
I love this place! Their selection of albums, rare and common, is outstanding. The brothers, Alex and Peter are just as passionate and knowledgeable about music as I am, (actually they know a lot more!) they're exceptionally approachable and engaging. I never fail to find a gem or two when I visit. Outstanding!
