I recently visited the Fountain of Moor (Fontana del Moro) at Piazza Navona, and it was a highlight of my walk through Rome. The square itself is beautiful, but this fountain really stands out with its incredible sculptures and lively atmosphere. The central figure of the Moor, surrounded by sea creatures, is full of detail and character—you can really appreciate the artistry up close.
What makes it even more special is the setting. Sitting beside the fountain, you can enjoy the buzz of Piazza Navona, with street performers, artists, and cafés all around. It’s the perfect spot to pause, take photos, and soak in the history and charm of Rome.
Whether you’re just passing through the square or spending some time there, don’t miss this fountain—it adds so much life and beauty to the heart of the city.
