I recently visited the Fountain of Moor (Fontana del Moro) at Piazza Navona, and it was a highlight of my walk through Rome. Exceptionally beautiful fountain with incredible sculptures adorning it. I found the fountains in Novano to be the best in Rome, they are varied and very beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting.

The Fountain of the Moor is such a beautiful piece of art! The details are amazing — the central figure looks so dynamic. It’s right in Piazza Navona, and together with the other fountains it makes the square feel so full of life. A perfect spot to relax, take photos, and enjoy the atmosphere!

Breathtaking fountain on the South side of piazza Navona. Icredible figure of a Moor on a shell fighting with a dolphin. Inaugurated on XVI century, it had many interesting add-ons during the next 200 years, higlighting the part of Bernini. On XVIII century many of the original sculptures were moved to a museum and substituted by good reproductions.
