Google
Super packed around brunch but the food and quick service was worth it. The menu is wide with both savory and sweet brunch classics, many with an Asian fusion twist. Would rec the Korean fried chicken Benedict - just one piece of half breast but freshly breaded and fried, plus plenty of home fries and greens. Also loved the mascarpone pancakes were very fluffy and stacked high with cream in-between. Fast refills for the house coffee. Love the bustling dining space - a bit loud but the staff got everyone covered.

This is probably the best breakfast place I've ever been to! The food was amazing, and the price might seem high but for the amount that you get is worth it. I had the pancakes which were so delicious, they are like nothing I've had before. My boyfriend and sister had the chicken and waffles. The waffles were huge and the chicken was like Gordan Ramsey popeyes! The volcano coffee was great! We had to take some to go afterwards. I can go on about this place for a while. Overall, this place is amazing. 100/10!!

Google
Food here was delicious and the service here was great. The restaurant had a nice ambiance to it with a relaxing decor that was simple and not over the top. Try one of the K-Bomb chicken selections to eat and one of the matcha fruit drinks.

Google
This is a reasonably priced Outer Mission brunch spot with a variety of trending flavors and an "Instagrammable drink menu" that kept the cameras busy. We were seated quickly for an early Sunday brunch but when we left around 11am there was a wait. They do take reservations and they can accommodate big parties, so if you are planning a party this place could be fun. We had the creme brulee French toast (sweet and chewy), the KFC eggs benedict (spicy and crunchy), and a scramble (basic but tasty). Everything was plated beautifully and cooked perfectly. The space was a bit industrial and noisy, so not very romantic, but good for friends. Right on Mission, it's just a hop and skip away!

Google
Okay, my take on this place is that they have great marketing pretty display of the food and a complete lack of flavor. Wins - coconut matcha delicious 10/10 Mango match - 10/10 French toast - 7/10 delicious but the bread was a lil dry Miss- k chicken Benedict- lack of flavor and depth, too much sugar. Potatoes nice and crispy but no flavor. 4/10 K chicken sandwich, the chicken was thin with way too much breading that just broke off. Way to sugary and lack of depth of flavor. 1/10

Google
This is my family's go to spot for brunch. We usually get there around opening time so there's always a table to for us. It's wheel chair accessible as my brother is handicapped. Good range on the menu of beverages and various asian fusion brunch items. No pork is served here. Can't go wrong with anything - definitely get the Creme Brulee french toast. The portions here are amazing!

Google
Very nice brunch place. I had a very tasty veggie scramble baked a Kinder Garden, which came with some excellent Spanish style fried potatoes. My brunch mates had since very interesting looking fruit drinks, sort of like mocktails.

Was excited to try 4 Chairs with a group on Sunday. Food was average (Nova benny, potatoes not crispy, small amount of salmon) and arrived cold. The pancakes were the best dish at the table. Restaurant is very warm and needs air conditioning. Was a good one time try but wouldn’t return.

Yelp
Cozy environment! Great service! The food was amazing and just right! Highly recommended for brunch just be aware of busier times. Try to reserve during the week days or get early on weekends. We got there 10:30am, and waited for 5 minutes. 20 minutes later, it was crazy.

Yelp
I went earlier this year and this is probably the best breakfast place I've ever been to! The service was top tier, always checking up on you. It does take some time for the food to be served but it always super busy due to how good this place is so I don't mind. The place itself is dark but cozy and simple, personally I love the decor. I can go on about this place for a while. Overall, this place is amazing. 100/10!!

Yelp
One of the best brunch spots in the city! We took our friend who was visiting the Bay last week & all loved it. Four Chairs may look a little small from the outside but the interior is actually quite spacey and very well designed / decorated. We were sat very quickly & seem to have gotten there just in time because it started filling up shortly after we arrived. We tried the Mascarpone Pancakes, Soju Bloody Mary, By the Bay Eggs Benedict, Butterfly Lychee Cocktail, Pacific Sunrise Eggs Benedict, Okonomiyaki Fries, & Chipotle Eggs Benedict. Everything was amazing but in my opinion some standouts were the pancakes, the cocktails, & By the Bay Benedict. I think the swap to soju over standard liquor really enhanced the flavor & made the drinks more unique. One thing to keep in mind is that there's street parking so you may have to circle for a minute but we were able to find parking just a few minutes away & walked over.

Yelp
Soooooo freaking good! Truly one of the best brunches I've had! We arrived at 10:45 AM on a Sunday morning and we're hit with a 30 to 45 minute wait. We signed up on the waitlist and took a walk outside. We only ended up waiting about 23 minutes, which was a glorious surprise. We ordered the mascarpone pancakes, Korean chicken Benny, omelette, and loco Plato. And let me tell youuuuu. AMAZING! The pancakes were a hit for the whole table. They weren't too sweet and were perfectly balanced with the fruit on top. Additionally the pancakes themselves were incredibly fluffy. All of the savory dishes were so satisfying and yummy. The flavors were creative, but not too over-the-top and enough to be the perfect brunch craving food. The atmosphere is nice. Even though they were busy, the service was very quick and efficient. I will definitely come back the next time I'm in San Francisco!

Yelp
Came with friends for brunch! We had a reservation, so we seated pretty quickly. Note that the entire party must be present in order to be seated! The food was delicious! I got the by the bay benedict and I really enjoyed it. It was flavorful and fresh! I also got a cocktail with soju, which tasted great as well! Definitely a vibrant color! I also liked the glass it came in, which has the four chairs logo :) The service was great as the servers were attentive and I loved the decor! There's an aesthetic wall in the restaurant, filled with various books and kitchen supplies. Overall, would definitely come back again for another brunch!

Allison W.

Yelp
Came here with a reservation at 10:30 AM on President's Day and it was packed. You have to check in on the kiosk even if you have a reservation to let them know you're there. The decor inside was nice, I liked the wood paneling of the walls and there was plenty of sunlight coming through the front windows despite those being the only ones. It's a bit noisy inside due to how many people were there, so conversation was hard to hear at times. I got the Lively Omelette, and it was good! Loved the chunks of avocado, and it was plenty cheesy. I got ciabatta as my toast, which felt a little dry. I liked the potatoes, though I found them a bit bland. Servers did a good job taking care of us despite the busy restaurant and us being in the back corner. Dishes and drinks here are very Instagram-able, and I would love to come back and get one of their benedicts sometime because my friends really liked theirs.

Sabrina L.

Yelp
The service for this place is kind and fast! We were quoted a 30-45 min wait but it ended up only being a 5 min wait for our party of 5 for Sunday brunch. The space is really large and tables turnover quick I've heard good things about this place so I was a bit disappointed after trying their food. I got the Southwest scramble and the eggs were a bit too dry and crumbly. My bf got the mascarpone pancakes and the pancakes were too dense and not fluffy. I tried my friends' creme brûlée French toast and that was delicious! It wasn't too sweet and the French toast was soft.

Jas L.

Yelp
Korean Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict As soon as they brought it to my table I smelt vinegar. Well it was the hollandaise sauce, they put way too much vinegar in it. Lack of balance for me to enjoy the dish. The fried chicken was good though, moist white chicken meat with a nice crunch on the outside. With the 1+ hour wait and mediocre food, I probably won't go back

Yelp
Four Chairs has been the hype of the neighborhood as the go-to brunch spot, but ultimately didn't stick out as a spot to revisit. For 2, we shared a mascarpone pancakes and Pacific Sunrise Benedict. Both were not particularly memorable and were fairly mid compared to other brunch spots in the city like Kitchen Story or Plow that I would prefer over Four Chairs. Appreciated the relatively simple menu and the staff were nice. If I were ever to revisit I'd want to try the drinks as they looked creative and unique.

Jessie H.

Yelp
This place knows what they are doing. It was a bit of a wait but worth it. Flavorful, colorful yummy foods! Atmosphere was nice somewhat classy but still casual. The seats were comfy and the vibe was good. Service was good for sure but the food took some time. I would go back to try some other items because the flavors were on point! I recommend.

Estrella S.

Yelp
This place is packed. Heard there is always a wait in line. I was captured by instagram and told my sister to take me here when I visited. I would just try EVERYTHING! But let me tell you, the mist have is the K.Bomb Benny. My taste buds were dancing and saying come here more often (boo..I can't because not from SF.**tear**) If I could, I totally would! Marscarpone pancakes. Idk why I thought the batter was supposed to have the marscapone in there but it was sandwiched between the pancakes. Still good all together but after getting down on the savory yumm yumm of that K. Benny...I wanted more of the K.Benny. My sister had the Southwest scramble. It was picturesque. Still delicious but something I could find at any brunch place. Still good for the plain Jane's out there. Idk. Still thinking about that K. Benny. For drinks, we had Thai ice tea and Strawberry matcha. Mmmm...drinks. but that K.Benny. Someone fly me this K.Benny please. Just TRY IT! The staff there was awesome. Even though it is super busy, you get great service.

Nicole R.

Yelp
I've been wanting to give this place a try for a while after hearing raving reviews and now, I understand why. This restaurant has a welcoming modern and cozy vibe. The staff is super friendly, fast, and attentive. (It was a Wednesday lunch so I am not sure if that changes the experience during the busy weekends.) Presentation of their meals definitely brings the experience up a notch. K-bomb chicken Benny: perfect flavor and crunch on the chicken. My husband really enjoyed the Benedict being on ciabatta. To the bay Benny: the tom yum hollandaise gives this dish a yummy and special touch but is not overpowering at all. Mascarpone pancakes: I did thought they were going to be bigger but nonetheless, the flavor was good. Not too sweet! They also had good coffee. One downside is that the tables are kind of too close together. So you have to squeeze in between to sit down and the conversation noise can be quite loud. Overall, we really enjoyed this spot. We look forward to coming again to try other items and some of the drinks!

Yelp
Visited on a Sunday (1/5/2025) around 10am and wow we got sat down and immediately we started ordering. The food came so fast and we decided to family style it and try everything. The pancakes were so good and the chicken was insane!!! Can't wait to come back and show my friends and family this amazing spot!

Yelp
The line out the door accurately reflected how worthwhile it was to dine at Four Chairs! Once we put a name down on the waitlist (around noon on MLK Jr. Day) it took forty five minutes or so to be seated. Once at our table, ordering and food service was incredibly quick and efficient! And although I'm sure the employees were balancing a million tasks in the crowded restaurant, they were welcoming and polite. The QR code on the table directed us to a colorful online menu, from which I ordered the K-bomb Chicken Benny (Korean fried chicken, cabbage, Chipotle hollandaise served on ciabatta) and the Matcha Strawberry Latte. The matcha strawberry was incredibly flavorful, probably the best one I've ever had (especially with its soft crunchy ice). And the benedict was delicious, with a side salad coated in a delectable asian-inspired dressing and incredible roasted potatoes (spiced, soft, fluffy, crispy... yum). The star of the show was the Korean fried chicken, of course, which was lightly battered and fried, then flavorfully glazed in a sticky sweet sauce. Fantastic. I wanted to order two more in a to-go box to save for later, but felt like that'd be overkill. Next time...

Yelp
Made a reservation for hubby's birthday a month in advance to secure a table. Upon arrival, there was a long waitlist by the sheer amount of people in front of the restaurant in the cold weather outside. Checked in on their tablet via Yelp and was seated within a couple of minutes. There's a menu QR code on the side of the table which is convenient. I love the lack of holding a physical menu. Arnold Palmer 3/5 Butterfly Lychee 5/5 Crème Brûlée French Toast 5/5 Birthday complimentary Mascarpone Pancake 4/5 Chipotle Benedict 4/5 Loco Plato 5/5 Host/Server (same person) 5/5 Atmosphere 4.5/5 (Unisex) Restroom Cleanliness 4.5/5 Worth the wait if you don't have a reservation. Definitely want to come back and try other items on the menu!

Yelp
Tasty fusion brunch place with aesthetic plating and creative drinks. Wait for Sunday brunch was around 40 min. Food came out pretty quickly and the portions were generous. I like how they incorporated greens into every plate. My only complaint were the drinks had way too much ice in them. Within a few minutes they became watered down.

Jenna T.

Yelp
Came here on Christmas Day (because who doesn't crave brunch after opening presents, right?) and, wow, it was packed. Like, packed packed. Thankfully, they've got a Yelp waitlist, so you can join in on the app or in person. We hopped on the list, and luckily, the wait for two wasn't too bad. Phew! Now, I'm not sure if it was because it was a holiday or if they were just running a little short-staffed, but the food took awhile to get to us. Not the end of the world -- just an opportunity to practice patience. Their menu is, uh... a whole experience. It's 12 pages, which is kind of like reading a novella on your phone. I'm sure they offer paper menus, but we didn't ask for one and just scrolled through the mobile version. Onto the food, though -- presentation is clearly their thing. Everything was Instagram-worthy, which is always a plus. I got the volcano coffee, and let me tell you, it was refreshing. A little sweet, a lot frothy -- perfect pick-me-up. The Okonomiyaki fries were crispy, saucy, and everything I didn't know I needed. Highly recommend! For the main event, I went with the K-Bomb Benny (with scrambled eggs instead of poached because, well, pregnancy) and my bf got the Southwest Scramble with pepperjack cheese (because he's cool like that). The potatoes was crispy and the breading on the korean fried chicken was yummy. I enjoyed the side salad it came with too. A full balanced meal! They charged a $1 extra for every substitution, which seemed fair enough, but just be aware if you're specific like us. All in all, solid experience -- the food was tasty and the vibe was good. It's on the pricier side, well because of presentation and social media worthy pics. I'd come again and will be sure to join their Yelp waitlist via the app next time!

Yelp
we came around 1:20 on a saturday and still had to wait just over an hour to be seated. seems that people are willing to wait for this place! i also wanna acknowledge that the staff is amazing -- such a busy weekend morning & everyone was just as polite & friendly. a busy atmosphere with lots of families and friends meeting up for the weekend. drinks: - matcha latte was a bit disappointing, it lacks the depth of flavor that a matcha should have. - strawberry lemonade was tasty and refreshing! food: - mascarpone pancakes were honestly a bit denser/flatter than i expected but flavor was on point! the fruit added a nice & refreshing cut to the sweetness flavor profile. and the warm maple syrup just tied everything together. - by the bay: amazing blend of flavors! nothing was too strong or too salty, etc. i loved the new take of a benedict on brioche toast instead of english muffins. the side salad had a nice vinaigrette dressing that helped enhance the dish and bring it to life. the potatoes were well-seasoned but a bit lacking in crispiness that wouldve given it the extra "oomph" to perfection. - lively omelet: pretty good, but the layer of cheese on top just seemed to slip off in one chunk. there was also a good amount of cheese in the omelet and just felt like it was a bit too much. everything else was pretty good, a standard omelet. overall this place is worth it but i can't say i would wait another hour to eat here. i might consider ordering takeout or delivery next time though to avoid the wait.

Clarizza A.

Yelp
Wait time wasn't too bad for a Sunday morning. Service here is quick. The Thai iced tea (4.5/5) is very good here! For sure would get that again. I also got the chicken and waffles (3/5) and it was all right. The sweet and sour sauce (they gave very little) was good but the chicken breast was a bit dry. The waffles are too light and airy; I prefer them more on the crunchy side. I won't get waffles here again but would consider their other items.

Deepanwita S.

Yelp
- Price point: $$ ($30-$50pp) - Cuisine: American (Brunch) - Ambience: cute brunch place, super busy on weekends. Tables were put super close to each other, also long waiting time - Food review: 1. Butterfly Lychee 9/10 (looked super pretty and tasted amazing) 2. Crème Brûlée French Toast- 9/10 (bit sweet but delicious ) 3. K bomb chicken benny 10/10 (the best item here and highly recommended!) 4. Okonomiyaki fries 7/10 (high price for a plate of fries, although the taste was good, its basically fries with some mayo-based sauce ) 5. Volcano coffee - 5/10 didnt live upto the name, coffee flavor was mild, a bit disappointed with this one We loved this brunch place overall. Everything was presented beautifully and most of what we tried were delicious! Prices were reasonable for a brunch place. Portions were huge!!! WE WILL BE BACK TO TRY THE OTHER ITEMS (Mascarpone pancake). Recommend for: brunch, date/ group hangout

Rachel L.

Yelp
solid brunch spot in the city! parking wasn't too hard to find, found some street parking in the neighborhood on a hill that was a ~5 minute walk to the restaurant. arrived around 11 am on a sunday and there was a ~45 minute wait. i had tried to get on the yelp waitlist in advance but it said the waitlist wasn't available. we waited outside and they conveniently had a menu (with photos!) taped to the window, so we were able to think about what we wanted to order. we sat at a long table shared with other groups, but that didn't detract from the ambiance/overall experience too much. the drinks were really pretty and good - i got the strawberry lemonade. for food, i got the pacific sunrise which is a salmon benedict. it came with potatoes and a salad, and everything about it was solid. everyone in my group seemed to like their food as well. the sweet items looked really good but i don't have the biggest sweet tooth for brunch unfortunately. would definitely come back if i was in the area!

Marshall Y.

Yelp
Thai fusion brunch Extravagant beautiful drinks Nice modern interior but still has standard brunch condiment caddy with Smuckers jam packets Coffee volcano like a coffee ice cream like a melted Baskin Robbins jamoca almond fudge. Chocolate milk more straightforward Didn't realize just from the menu photo that there's only three pancakes in the stack and there are thick indulgent layers of mascarpone inbetween. Surprisingly light Potatoes nicely fried Sugar bomb sweet breakfast Kbomb chicken tasty Very attentive service

Avery M.

Yelp
great presentation on the foods and drinks. lots of creativity. Korean fried chicken Benny was good and my favorite! so was the butterfly pea as lychee was refreshing.

May N.

Yelp
Arrived on a Saturday at 11:45am and waited about 30 minutes on the waitlist. By The Bay Benny - so interesting with the Tom Yum hollandaise. Very zesty flavor, a big fan of a more unique Benny 2 egg breakfast - solid meal. Really hard to get this wrong! K Bomb Benny - the KFC is such a hit! Savory to the max! Mascarpone Pancake - initial bite I thought was good but a bit cakey but then I realized we forgot to pour syrup on it oops and with the syrup it was a perfect bite. Perfect pancake consistency to soak it in! I also had the matcha mango latte and thought it was ok- the mango bits ended up being a little annoying because they got stuck in the straw. Overall a great experience and I'd definitely come again. The food was good and had some unique twists that felt fresh and new.

Afrin K.

Yelp
Really great brunch gem! Be sure to be prepared to wait in a line, but otherwise everything else was great. Ordered their pacific sunrise $23 that's sharable between two. The hollandaise is Tom Yum inspired so definitely with a Thai twist. Comes with home fries flavored to perfection and crispy, as well as a side salad. Wanted to try their pancakes so ordered their side order $8 that's was less quantity but overall a good deal if you're looking to try it out. The inside is packed, but decorative wise modern and cozy. Overall recommend!

Anny L.

Yelp
Party of 7 had a long wait of one hour on Saturday before noon. We ordered okonomiyaki fries (fries tasted stale), chicken and waffle, shrimp scramble, k-benny, crispy chicken sandwich, strawberry and mango matcha, dalgona, and butterfly pea lemonade. Everything was very mediocre. We expected food to be good given long wait times but we wish we went somewhere else entirely. Home style fries are on the saltier side. The chicken in the chicken and waffle had no flavor, relying on the accompanied sauce. The fruit matchas lacked matcha flavor and the lemonade was surprisingly too sweet. Hollandaise sauce had an overpowering citrus note and the crispy chicken sandwich was very plain. There are so many good brunch places in sf I'd recommend over this one.

Sammy R.

Yelp
Really good. Every dish was thoughtfully made. Drinks were ALL SO GOOD! Get the berries harvest salad, it has shrimp and berries, it was really good and portions were generous. Will keep coming back again and again

Christina L.

Yelp
9:20AM Saturday is a great time to go, no wait. Street parking available, might be a few blocks from the store or just utilize public transportation. For the space, great utilization of space when it comes to meeting, simple neat interior. When you order, you order through your phone, do say expect a wait, about 25 minutes for food. I loved my chicken apple scramble ($19): contains avocados, roasted peppers, cheese and of course the chicken apple sausage. Egg texture is more of like Gordon Ramsey style where it is more runny. Awesome touch with the micro-greens for some texture and spice. My friend got the Kbomb Benny ($20) and had mixed feelings. Enjoyed the variety of food since it contains veggie, but the chipotle hollandaise sauce was not great, very lemony and not chipotle taste at all. The chicken had a bit of crunch with the Korean sweet and spicy sauce, a good size piece of tender chicken. Overall, I enjoy the technical components in the food with a bit of fusion.

Joyce Z.

Yelp
The best part of rainy days is being able to walk into a brunch spot like Bernal Heights Four Chairs that normally has over an hour wait and immediately get a table. With a section dedicated to Instagrammable drinks like the less sweet mango matcha latte which is right for me, but the butterfly lychee was too sweet. Their food are pretty Instagrammable too. Went for a sweet with the fluffy Marscapone Pancake, not to be confused with the young coconut Macapuno and the savory K-Bomb Chicken Benny with Korean Fried Chicken to get the best of both worlds. The side of okonomiyaki fries is a fun twist on traditional fries. Food was good but probably not for an hour wait.

Amy T.

Yelp
30 minute wait around 11:30am on a Monday. This place is packed and there continued to be a small line when we left. I got the K-bomb eggs benedict and it is a soy garlic fried chicken (dark meat) with eggs benedict (2 poached eggs on bread) with potatoes and salad. I loved that they included both potatoes and salads as the sides so I didn't have to choose. The chicken is tender, the marinade is a bit sweeter than other soy garlic fried chicken but still pretty tasty. The potatoes have this hard fried outer layer that I did not like, it was more hard than crispy. Volcano coffee, aka Dalgona coffee, was pretty good although not as strong as I would've liked. Also, at the end of the drink, I had all this coffee foam that I couldn't drink because it was difficult to mix it completely with the milk.

Bianca T.

Yelp
This place is always packed around brunch time on the weekend so make sure you get here earlier in the morning! Was my second time here, and this time I got the k bomb chicken benny which was delicious. The plate also came with a good amount of salad and potatoes that I couldn't finish, so had my friend eat them. The service is also great and super kind. During this time of year, they had lots of Christmas decorations up, like garlands, lights and a tree! Super festive!

Bryant C.

Yelp
Needed a place for an early brunch and found this spot close by and was excited to see a menu with a Korean influence. Came in signs 930am on a Saturday and was immediately seated. FOOD: K bomb chicken Benny. Such an enticing combination. The chicken itself was quite good. A nice crisp batter, with the classic sticky sweet and mildly spicy sauce. Served with a classic Benedict, though on a piece of toast which I'm not sure came together the way I had hoped. The hollandaise was nothing special, though the egg was just fine. With the chicken, it just didn't really blend, I'm not sure the hollandaise could compete with the sauce of the chicken. The side salad was good, and potatoes were fine, but the Benedict to me was just okay. Pacific sunrise. Hollandaise a little bit stronger with the Tom yum addition, but overall I have the same comments about the Benedict as above, which is, this was just okay. Still not enough flavor, though the smoked salmon was also fine. I liked the toast option on this one a bit better though. Overall, I wanted to like this place. The staff were nice and attentive and they have a clean wooden ambiance. Unfortunately the food was just mediocre. Maybe the sweet options are better, but I prefer a savory brunch, so it may take another friend telling me to come for me to try again.

Catherine B.

Yelp
I love this place! Everything we ordered was amazing, drinks were good, great survive and the place is cute too. Too bad parking is kinda limited and you have to pay for parking. It's in the street.

Jacleen I.

Yelp
Came in for brunch around 12:30pm on a Monday and there was no wait for a party of two :) Service was very quick - we were seated, our orders were taken, and our food was brought out all within 30 minutes. The menu had so many options and the mouth-watering pictures made it so much harder to decide what to order! BY THE BAY BENEDICT 8/10 Sooooo good and very fulfilling! It wasn't my favorite benedict, but it was satisfying. MASCARPONE PANCAKES 10/10 These were the fluffiest and airiest pancakes I've ever had. The layers of mascarpone were light and airy as well and went perfectly with the pancakes and fresh fruit combined. Must try! SOJU BLOODY MARY W/ BACON 8.5/10 This bloody mary was amazing and full of flavor. Comes with celery, lemon, cherry tomato, olives, and pickled onion. You can add bacon for an additional $3 (pricey for a slice of bacon). Overall a nice brunch spot. I will definitely be back to try more items off the menu!

Lisa X.

Yelp
We recently came by for brunch. Nice comfy aesthetics. The food was also plated beautifully. We tried the Matcha Coconut. It's okay, but it looks pretty. Looking back, I should have also order the Lychee Butterfly drink because I like how that looks, too. We got the mascarpone pancakes, the chicken & waffles and a side of beef bacon. We enjoyed the mascarpone pancakes tho it's not very fluffy. The chicken (just ok) & waffles (ahmazing!) We recently went to C&B and thought their chicken was slightly better in terms of taste and texture. I absolutely love the waffles here. Nice service. Located on Mission and 29th St. in Bernal Heights.

Namratha P.

Yelp
Loved the food here!! They had quite a few options and pictures of the food so you know what you're getting! Loved that they had a instagrammable drinks section haha and they tasted yum! The food tasted great overall and wanna try other ones as well. We got the kinder scramble and the mascarpone pancakes which are popular for a reason. We didn't have to wait too long either. I will say the area was not too pleasant to walk in but other than that a great experience. Will be coming back!

Adrian H.

Yelp
This place is a benchmark in great brunch. The savory food was rich, delicious, full of fresh vegetables and - critically - with great sourdough toast. And the waffle was sweet and tasty with that great Belgian crispy coating, without feeling *too* rich after that great meal. I had to try the chocolate milk and I'm glad I did...it was so good it was ridiculous. I will come back craving that specifically. We definitely want to come back and try some cocktails but this was an awesome recovery meal after a night out dancing. Love that this place is so close to us in Bernal because it's among the best brunches in sf. And, it's got that cozy vibe we love Bernal for, with friendly and fast staff. And whew, those potatoes are so good! Needless to say, we both cleaned our plates.

Leila S.

Yelp
Flavorful food with good presentation. Ambiance was nice and modern, and the service was quick. Good first experience!

Yelp
Delicious! I got the mascarpone pancake. It was a bit pricy, but it is San Francisco. I wish they had more vegetarian options on their menu. Even just a vegetarian omelette. They request people don't ask for substitutions, so it'd be nice to have more meatless options. The service was fast and kind, and the atmosphere was plesant. Soft lighting with windows and it wasn't too loud when I was there even though it was starting to get busy. Popular spot, even on weekdays, but I got there shortly after they opened for the day and was able to get a table right away. I recommend getting there early or expecting a wait on weekends. The tables were clean and had everything needed already there including water pitchers. They accept card payments. They also seemed fine with me using my laptop which was nice for a breakfast spot. Parking nearby is paid and can be tricky to find depending on the time of day.

Yelp
I'd have to say that this place lives up to the hype!! There was a huge crowd outside the restaurant on a Saturday but we were seated within 20 minutes. The k bomb chicken benny is a must try. The sweetness of the chicken goes perfectly with the salty Benedict. Only knocking off a star due to the service as it was a bit rushed and we received the bill before we were even close to finishing our meals.

Yelp
The texture of the food are too rich for us. Maybe we are in rush. W placed the order right after we were seated.after 20 mins , I wanted to ask about that drinks. I waved my hand and called for the waitress. I haven't got a chance to say anything.she shows a little bit impatience" we are waiting for the food" I wanted to ask if the drink is not ready yet I would like to cancel it. It has been 20 mins. " here you go, it's ready. We ere not greeted during the time of having it he mealMaybe it's Sunday。 and they are too busy. 22% suggested tip came out first, and 18 % is the least , we don't even get the service for 15% tips。hope they can do it better next time

Yelp
The food, service and ambiance here is amazing. We were seated quickly after adding our name to the waitlist, and the efficient service continued throughout our meal. The food was delicious, and the ambiance, though a bit noisy, was still quite pleasant. I personally tried the chipotle Benedict, which was decent but not extraordinary. The eggs were unfortunately overcooked, but the volcano coffee was exceptional. The pancakes and bacon were also standout dishes. Next time I visit, I'll be sure to try something different.

Yelp
We stopped by on a weekend and this place was packed. The line took wayyy too long, it felt like we were standing for a while. We were seated at a shared table, which was fine but not expected. I tried the K Bomb sandwich and volcano coffee. The coffee was great!! I wish it wasn't advertised as so gimmicky and Instagrammable, but I guess it is. The coffee was nice and sweet with a strong taste as well. Cute presentation and fun! The sandwich was kind of overwhelming. The fried chicken was too sweet and too sticky. The marinade was a little too wet and the sandwich was kind of falling apart. I rarely leave a crispy chicken sandwich uneaten, but this one was way too rich, heavy, and messy. The fries, however, were perfection. Everyone else seemed to like their bennies, so maybe that is a better order. Even with the eggs, it doesn't seem like it was good enough to warrant the Instagram hype and massive line.

Yelp
Came here in a Thursday brunch for my friend's bday. We took waymo so i dont know how parking situation is. We had a reservation but there was no wait when we got there. Ambiance was great. Servers was fast but i think theres was only 2 so after we got our food they never came back. We have to call them couple of times.

Yelp
This place stood out so much to us and one of the best brunch spots in San Francisco! Each drink and dish was so delicious and unique it left us wanting to come back soon to try everything. We definitely recommend going early if you can to avoid lines because it can get pretty packed and for good reason the vibes are also so nice. Only thing is parking but that's a given with it being in the city. - -- -- - Pina Coco Volcano Coffee Butterfly Lychee Mascarpone Pancakes Creme BrûléeBrulee French Toast K-Bomb Chicken Sandwich w/ Okonomiyaki Fries Chicken Apple Scramble

Yelp
Bernal food scene once again pops off - Four Chairs lived up to the hype of delicious and balanced fusion branch! We went in on a Sunday morning at 11 am (prime hours) without a reservation, so the wait was 45 min for two people. Would recommend checking in on the Yelp waitlist if available and you don't have a reservation (I took the time to wander and pop by the Mexican grocery store a few doors down for some Abuelita hot cocoa ). Once we got seated, service was pretty quick! The interior is pretty spacious, loud, and buzzy - a good vibe to start the Sunday. We ordered the iced coffee and mango matcha (not too sweet, very refreshing) to start. We split the Kinder Garden (veggie scramble) and Mascarpone pancakes. Both hit the spot - the scramble had good balance of vegetables and crispy potatoes. The pancakes were fluffy, and the mascarpone cream lightened the dish up and balance the sweetness too. It was about $60 all in, which felt comparable in SF for brunch + drinks, but everything hit the spot. There are limited vegetarian options (savory), but what they do they do well!

Yelp
I only have one thing to say here -- the mascarpone pancakes are EXQUISITE (which I regrettably did not get a picture of). I don't think I'd ever be able to finish it myself but it is just so rich and creamy and I will definitely come back just for that. Chef's kiss. Definitely gets a tad bit overwhelming if you eat more than a few bites though but it is so good. I'd recommend sharing with at least another person. The location is nice, and the ambiance is pretty standard in terms of brunch places -- minimalistic and clean. The brunch plates were overall not bad, and I liked how balanced everything was. I did notice that they do not allow substitutions in order to manage time, which I do wish they would allow (especially for dietary restrictions), but I do appreciate the available options. The scramble was surprisingly not super "eggy" and the mango and strawberry matcha lattes were pretty solid as well. But the star of the show is definitely the pancakes!!

Yelp
Brunch Only Spot in SF!! I've been having this bookmarked on my Yelp and I finally get to try it. So I almost ordered everything lol. They are all so tasty. I love the waffle by itself. It was light and airy but also tastes like a cornbread. Garlic shrimps scrambled have a lot of texture from crispy garlics which I really like. I'm picky when it comes to smoked salmon and they nailed it. The benny = Benedict was tasty too. I was drool all over the Creme Burlee toast!!! I ordered: - Chicken & Waffle - Korean Chicken Benny - Garlic Sheimp Scrambled Egg - Smoked Salmon Omelette (Nova) -Crème Burlee French Toast - butterfly Pea & Lychee - Coffee - Mango Something it was spiked with soju I got there at 10am when they first opened on a Friday. It was almost full house by 11am. I definitely recommend making a reservation since they are only for breakfast and brunch. They closed around 2pm or 3pm. The service there was fast tho. Please add me on Yelp if you like my vibe or IG @imjennime. TYSM

Yelp
Very cute brunch spot with entrees that aren't too heavy. The dishes look super filling but aren't as greasy or heavy as other brunch spots. The mascarpone pancakes were super fluffy and topped with a lightly sweet cream. I didn't use much of the syrup since the pancakes and cream were already sweet but all together it was delish! I tried to chicken sausage scramble and that was also easy to eat. I ordered an oat milk matcha which was a touch too sweet for me. Delicious but will definitely opt for almond milk next time.
