Crab cakes were divine. Highly recommend getting those. Worth the splurge. Meaty and served with a spicy sauce and refreshing slaw. Paired the chef dining menu with a blueberry colada mocktail. Delicious. The chicken mojo entree left a lot to be desired. It needed more sauce. The rice and beans were great but chicken itself rather lacking in texture and moisture. It wasn’t easy to cut, unfortunately. I wanted a more comforting plate of food, and would get a different entree next time. The other guests at the table raved about their grouper. Enjoyed the dulce de leche flavored creme brûlée, but the texture was thicker than expected.

My husband and I had such a wonderful date night at Four Flamingos for Magical Dining! The crab cakes were absolutely incredible, I enjoyed the chicken, and he loved the fish. Dessert was the highlight of the night—our favorite part! Highly recommend this place for a special evening.

Four Flamingos was absolutely amazing our Server/mixologist was so attentive and knowledgeable about the food as well as the amazing drinks she is designing. I would absolutely recommend anybody go to Four Flamingos, I had the Osters which were absolutely to die for, the Lobster Mac and Cheese was incredible and had an entire Lobster tail on top. The Florida Old Fashioned is inspiring and oh so delicious! Richard Blais is a gastronomical genius!

Had an amazing dinner at Four Flamingos! The food was so delicious and full of flavor. I can tell a lot of thought goes into every dish. The vibe is fun and tropical, perfect for a night out. Huge shoutout to Chef Junior, he was so attentive and genuinely cared about how we were enjoying the meal and visited us throughout our dinner, which made the experience feel really personal and special. You definitely don’t see that often. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re looking for great food, great service, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Will be coming back for sure!

We went there for our anniversary dinner. We ordered the coconut shrimp, mojo chicken, oxtails and the tiramisu tres leches. The shrimp weren't bad but for 3 large shrimp, it was overpriced. We received our entrees very quick and they were room temp which made it clear that they were not made to order. The best part of the meal was the bread they brought to the table and the dessert. The waiter was very nice and the manager came over and made things right but we would have rather had a great meal and experience. It's unfortunate as we were really looking forward to it, but we will not be back.

Really disappointed to be writing this review. My fiance and I love going to different restaurants by Top Chef contestants throughout the country and Richard has always been my favorite. This was our first time at one of his restaurants and to make it extra special we saved it for my fiance's birthday dinner. I'm very sad to say I spent over $400 on a subpar meal. I had their signature swordfish and it was drowned in butter. My fiance had the filet and ordered it medium, it came out rare/med rare. The server was attentive enough, but completely lacked any personality or the type of customer service you expect with the price tag for the meal. This was a restaurant we'd been looking forward to trying for a long time and our first time will certainly be our last.

9/28/25: Got food poisoning. I noticed afterwards, someone left a review 3 weeks ago saying they also got very sick after eating here. I ordered from the Magical Dining menu. Paid about $98 after tax & tip. Had ordered the crab cakes for the appetizer, but the waitress brought the lobster bisque. She said I could keep it and would bring out the crab cakes as well. I don’t usually eat lobster bisque, but it was luke-warm and the center of the baby lobster tail was cold. I didn’t think much of it at the time, but I’m wondering if it was undercooked now because the stomach cramps happened about 40 minutes into my meal. Either way, it’s not something I’d order. The crab cakes were fried, but when you cut into the breading, it had nice chunks of crab meat. I ended up taking off a lot of the fried capsule and leaving it on the plate. They up-charge $18 for these from the prix-fixed menu for Magical Dining. I personally thought it was more like an entree than an appetizer. I think it should be served as two crab cakes instead of three and then maybe no up-charge? The orange sauce on the plate was lacking flavor, I thought it was missing a bit of horseradish. So, I wouldn’t order these again either. Lastly, I had the red grouper. This was my favorite dish. It came out hot. It’s in a butter sauce, which I enjoyed. Unfortunately this is when my stomach felt a little full and starting having some pain, to which I thought was from being full. So I only ate half of it and asked for the panna cotta to-go. The staff was very friendly. I smiled as I walked out and let them know I enjoyed the grouper. I made the walk from the restaurant to the hotel to get to my car (which they only have valet if you’re not staying there). I had just made it into the hotel when the cramps kicked in hard and I started feeling nauseous. I got the cold sweats and started getting shaky. I finally went to front desk in the lobby of the hotel to notify them so they could tell the restaurant in case there’s something wrong with the food. I immediately rushed back to the bathroom and ended up throwing up a good portion of my dinner. I sat in the bathroom for nearly two hours in the lobby, waiting for the waves of pain to go away. The front desk lobby gave me a bottle of water, offered some Tylenol and antacid from their medical kit (I let her know it was not an ant acid issue) and took my name and phone number. ———- Update: I sent an email to the restaurant the next morning to notify them in writing if the incident. Hershel called me back the same day to check on me. He sent me an incident report to show that they do track these cases. He also offered to compensate the dinner. I appreciate them taking accountability and working to improve the food quality.

Went for magical dining/main menu with a group for the first time. Grilled octopus was incredible, aguachile ceviche was OK. Bread was cold. The chicken on magical dining was not very good and grouper was dry and flavor wise was one of the worst fish I’ve had. Our friends lobster Mac and cheese had a raw lobster tail but the pasta itself tasted good. Creme brûlée and baked florida were decent but nowhere near worth the price. Blueberry colada was wonderful! Unfortunately a few hours later I became very sick. The restaurant was beautiful situated in the heart of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress which is just gorgeous. The staff was all very nice, we loved our server Stephanie. She did everything she could to make our experience better. Overall incredibly surprised a well know chef like Richard Blais would put his name on this restaurant.

We had the pleasure of attending the Four Flamingos Richard Blais Florida Kitchen Restaurant for Easter Brunch at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort by Disney Orlando. The ambiance of the restaurant is upscale with a Florida beachy southern vibe. Service at the restaurant was excellent. Our servers were very friendly. The Noshing Table had a nice selection of imported cheeses, charcuteries, house made jams & mustards, fruit, crudités. 8/10 The Raw Bar featured Fresh shucked oysters, poached local Canaveral shrimp, snow crab claws, ceviche, tuna tataki. Unfortunately the snow crab was all out despite being advertised. 7/10 There were Carving Stations Florida Black Grouper 8/10 & Roasted Leg of Lamb 8/10. The Smoked Salmon Toast came with Eggs benedict, avocado & dill creme, passionfruit hollandaise, pickle onions. 9/10 The Biscuits & Gravy came with Homemade buttermilk biscuits, wild boar linguisa gravy, chives. 8/10 The Patatas Bravas Mash came with Boniato & yukon, grilled scallops, cilantro & mango salsa. 9/10 The Swordfish Belly Skewers came with Pineapple rum glaze, jalapeno chimi, gochujang & lime aioli, pickled pineapple. 9/10 The Picanha Bearnaise came with Plancha seared steak, mango béarnaise, whipped malanga, arugula salad. 9/10 There was Orange Ricotta made to order Pancake Station 8/10 and a Dessert bar with all sorts of Easter chocolates and desserts for the kids! 9/10 If you're ever in Orlando near Disney or at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort, I highly recommend you visit the Four Flamingos Restaurant.

We came for the first time for Magical Dining month. I was hopeful we would love it, since we love Chef Richard Blais from Next Level Chef and Iron Chef fame. When we were seated, the ambiance was warm and inviting as the sun was beginning to set. As more guests arrived the room got so loud we couldn't hear each other talk. Very disappointing. Next the service--our server brought our appetizers out pretty soon after our order was placed, nice. It took much longer for our entrees to come out, and after we were served he never checked with us to see if our food was good. It wasn't! More about that in a minute. Our desserts came out quickly. Glasses of wine started at $17 up to $23. Bottles were $68+. We opted for water. I must compliment the girl watching our water glasses. She kept filling them, at least 8 times. She deserves huge kudos, if only I knew her name. She is why this isn't a 2 star review. Finally the food. Our first course was the spiny lobster bisque--it tasted good, just the right amount of spice, but it was room temperature with the bites of lobster refrigerator cold. For the entrees we ordered the grouper and the oxtail. The oxtail was mostly all bone and fat. My husband got only 5 quarter-sized pieces of meat. My grouper was cooked perfectly, but it was tasteless. I even asked for salt hoping that was what was missing. It helped, but as beautiful as the sauce looked it had zero flavor. Not sure how that's possible. The desserts were the best of the night. I had the brûlée and my husband had the panna cotta. I ate every bite because all the other courses left me wanting. Even the "fresh" hot bread served when we were seated was either a day old, or had been sitting out in the air to dry out. I had to add butter just to make it not feel stale. This was the first time we've splurged on a $60 magical dining experience. I must say my husband and I enjoy Seasons 52 better than this on all points. Chef Blais, this doesn't match your standards. At least not what I expected. We did have our valet parking ticket validated, so that was free as well as the sunset. This was the best part of the night. At $150, the meal wasn't worth half that!

We sat at the bar and had 2 great cocktails. The bar staff was perfect and made beautiful craft cocktails. They'd get a 5 star based on just the bar. We weren't starving seated for dinner and had the magical dining menu. We had the seasonal ceviche and the goat cheese brûlée. I didn't live the goat cheese but it was still tasty. For entrees we had the swordfish and the grouper. Both had a beautiful presentation. My grouper was a nice light dish and was prepared perfectly. The swordfish fish was blackened and nice and moist. Both desserts were very tasty if you like custard type desserts. The brûlée was very nice . It's a pretty restaurant with nice lighting and lots of small rooms that are all glass to see the pretty greenery outside. Our service was good but impersonal. They have a late night happy hour 9-10 at bar with a good selection of appetizers, I guess it's designed to catch people coming back from Disney. I'd definitely do that next time I stayed.

I always go to new restaurants hoping it's going to be "my new favorite". Unfortunately, I was kind of underwhelmed by Four Flamingos. Even though it's located at the Hyatt regency, they did a proper job with sectioning it away from the lobby to a different location on grounds. Signature cocktails are innovative but pricey. Even rum and cokes were priced at around $18/drink... there were only three other tables dining there, so pretty slow. I opted for the magical dining menu and started with the goat cheese salad. It was okay, I enjoyed the caramelization on the cheese. I upgraded for the swordfish prime, which was the best thing I tried there. The portion was actually huge! Unfortunately my Brussel sprouts ended up by accident at a different table, they still brought them and didn't charge since it came out so late. My husband ordered the filet Mignon with Gouda mash. The meat tasted of quality but as a whole the entire dish didn't have much flavor. For dessert I ordered the tres Tiramisu tres leche and it really didn't have much flavor at all.

We attended a private Bacardi rum tasting at four flamingos where we got to meet the chef, manager and bartender. They explained all the food they made and paired them with rums. At the end we also made a special cocktail. It was such a fun event and I highly recommended it to anyone! We were there before the restaurant opened and got lots of attention and learned so much.

This was quite possibly one of the best fine dining experiences I've had the pleasure of having. From the food to the service, everything was a 10/10. My fiancé and I have watched Richard Blais for quite a while now, all the way back to his original run on Top Chef and more recently his role of judge on Next Level Chef. With some of the cooking shows we watch we've been trying to see where some of these chefs have restaurants so we can try them. Lo and behold Richard Blais has a restaurant just a block over from Disney World. I couldn't believe I never heard of it before as I have been going to Disney multiple times a year since I was a child as we have family in the area. I was informed that it's only about 4 years old so that's most likely why. But as soon as we found it we booked a reservation for when we were going down there next. The restaurant was a little difficult to find at first, tucked away behind the Grand Cypress Resort. We unfortunately showed up about 10 minutes late for our reservation as we basically came here straight from the airport. That being said they were very understanding and accommodating. The restaurant was very "Florida" and I appreciate its modern beach resort vibe. Our waiter ... was incredible. We already knew what we wanted going in but he made some suggestions that we decided to follow and I'm so glad we did. He recommended the Ahi Tuna Tostada and I get lie, it was probably the most balanced and flavorful appetizer I have ever had. We you watch these cooking shows you sometimes wonder if some of what they are saying is just fancy talk, but no this dish was the perfect example of what balance, flavor, and every ingredient having a purpose really means. We also shared some warm water lobster mac and cheese which was delicious. For drinks, we both ordered fun cocktails. My apricot and vodka drink, called Euphoria, was especially delicious and came with a fun little smoke bubble for show. My fiancé's gin drink, called Punk Dragon, was light, herbal, and refreshing. For our main course, we were both going to order the highly recommended swordfish. Our waiter was awesome and pointed out that the portion was massive and that we should share it. I was shocked as I figured they didn't really let you share entrees. I was so thankful though as the portion was indeed massive and we had no way of reheating it if we needed to box up a second portion. We were so full and satisfied after the meal that we considered skipping dessert, but our waiter convinced us to take some crème brûlée to go. I'm once again glad we did because a little later when we got back to our hotel we devoured it. It was great. We did feel kind of bad as we had a late reservation and we ended up being the last table and we stayed a bit past closing, though our waiter never showed it. He treated us as if we were VIPs that came during peak dinner time. We really appreciated it. We were so upset to hear that Richard Blais himself was going to be at the restaurant a few days later. We tried to move some plans around to come back during that time but we just couldn't make it work. We were told he does make plans to come from time to time so you bet we will be back for some more delicious food and drinks and excellent service.

Great service, swordfish was TO DIE FOR SO GOOOD!!! Ambiance was chill make sure you wear smart casual. Service was quick food came out fast. Great seeing open kitchen with food being prepared. Servers knowledgeable. Everything has a tropical flavor.

Cutely themed Four Flamingos is Top Chef Richard Blais' Caribbean inspired seafood focused restaurant in Orlando. As Top Chef fans, we will never miss an opportunity to eat at our favorite contestants' restaurants wherever we travel. Having dined at Richard's Juniper and Ivy in San Diego and incredibly impressed there, we even booked a night of hotel at the Grand Cypress where Four Flamingo's located. Friendly yet resort style upscale service and ambiance makes it a good choice for special occasion celebrations. We ordered the whole fish for 2 (MP is almost $100), lobster Mac and cheese, lobster bisque, Caesar salad, and pistachio tiramisu dessert. Everything was fresh, decently executed and well presented, but I don't think any dish really stood out as memorable, especially given their price point. Not giving up on Richard yet, we will still gladly try his other restaurants, but unlikely to return to this particular one any time soon.

We visited for Blaise Days and saw Chef Blaise the instant we walked in. He was working the customer side of the pass so he could talk to anyone who stopped by. You did have to be proactive in greeting him but he was welcoming when we asked for a photo. The swordfish prime rib is a STAR literally run, don't walk. It was worth every penny we paid. I also enjoyed my drinks, and the side of garlic Brussels. Fair warning bread service is not complimentary which is 100% ok I just didn't know...I assume I missed it on the menu somewhere. It's not a huge deal. Our server was attentive and put a happy birthday chocolate on our dessert. Also, do not sleep on the baked Florida dessert. 10/10

We were visiting our daughter and made Four Flamingos a destination during our vacation with her and her boyfriend -- and the evening did not disappoint. From the atmosphere to the last bite of dessert, this was a dining experience worth remembering. Our server, Renzo, elevated the night even further. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. He followed up on every course -- cocktails, entrées, and dessert -- offering thoughtful recommendations and detailed descriptions that enhanced the entire experience. The cocktails were a true highlight. The Euphoria was a cinematic display, served with theatrical flair. The Old Fashioned was classic and perfectly balanced, while the Pink Dragon and Flamingo Sling were colorful, vibrant, and refreshing. It's rare to find a restaurant where the cocktails are as memorable as the food -- but Four Flamingos delivered. We started with the Tuna Tostada, topped with passion fruit yolk and avocado tartar -- a light, flavorful, and beautifully plated dish. The Roasted Brussels Sprouts were a bold surprise: togarashi, sweet Thai chili, and white barbecue made for a standout combination. As someone who only recently came around to Brussels sprouts, I can say these were nothing like the ones you grew up with -- in the best way possible. The Spiny Lobster Bisque was rich and silky, with just a hint of sweetness and spice from the pineapple lobster salad and datil oil -- an elegant and delicious start. Our entrées continued to impress. The Key Lime Mojo Chicken, served with cilantro lime coconut rice, black beans, and guava ginger BBQ, was vibrant and packed with flavor. But the showstopper was the Swordfish Prime Rib, Neptune's Cut -- phenomenal in both flavor and preparation, it truly showcased the kitchen's creativity and skill. Dessert was as theatrical as it was delicious. The Baked Florida, a flaming take on key lime pie with meringue, was dramatic and delicious. The Coconut, a delicate chocolate shell filled with airy coconut mousse, was a piece of edible art. Four Flamingos was the perfect setting for a memorable evening with family. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were world-class, and Renzo's top-tier service tied it all together. Highly recommended for anyone who values creative, flavorful cuisine and warm, attentive hospitality.

The food is edible, but there was nothing that blew me away. The service staff was on top of it and did such a great job keeping our water full. They did not clean the table between courses. It's a cute place, but not worth going out of your way for. If you're staying at the hotel then fine.

This is not your every day experience--from the decor to the food to the service. It's all unique and intentional. From the subtle, separate entrance that represents the Floridian landscape to the Southern Florida food staples with a twist, you won't be disappointed in this experience. My table had everything from lobster bisque to the crab cakes to the swordfish and tres levies tiramisu. All incredibly thoughtful and immensely enjoyable. This was definitely a hidden treasure. We even got to see Richard Blais himself! And to him we couldn't help but say, bravo.

Holy swordfish! I'm not usually a big seafood person--my list of ocean-approved items is pretty short--but after seeing all the rave Yelp reviews, we decided to give the swordfish a shot and ordered the filet. It was solid, though not mind-blowing enough to bring me back just for that. That said, the flavor combo of garlic and lemon was chef's kiss, and the portion was massive--definitely something I'll think about again. Our waiter was great, and we were celebrating a birthday, so we went for the key lime pie with the show. It was a nice touch, especially with the little raspberry surprise inside. Bonus: Richard Blais happened to be there that night! Very cool to meet him in person after seeing him on TV. We also peeked at the upcoming Magical Dining menu--swordfish is an upgrade, but I'd say it's worth trying at least once. The vibe inside is peak Florida, in the best way. We'll definitely be back!

Food and service were top tier! My daughter didn't like her drink and bartender came out and helped walk her through making her a fun delicious drink, she's 5 so the level of attention they paid just to make her happy was great to see. Don't hesitate to try!

I've been wanting to try this place for quite some time as I'm a fan of Richard Blais and love seafood, but unfortunately the whole experience was pretty underwhelming for me. It started off with receiving an email prior to our reservation asking to send in a photo to ensure we could be greeted by name when we walked in. How special! Except that when we walked in there wasn't even a host at the host stand. We stood there for a few minutes looking around with no one in sight, until finally we peeked around the corner and waved at someone to let them know we were standing there waiting. And no, we were not greeted by name lol. The restaurant itself was surprisingly small and not busy at all. The ambiance was definitely on the more casual side. To be honest the service was not impressive at all, it felt like the same level of service I'd get at Chili's. I was excited by the sound of the menu items on the Magical Dining menu, but the food was very average to me. For appetizers we tried the lobster bisque which was pretty good, and the goat cheese and peach salad which was nothing special. We tried the red grouper and the oxtail as entrees, again they were good but nothing that blew me away. I also found it interesting that the entrees didn't really come with any sides? My fish had a few decorative cut green beans in the sauce and that was it. The oxtail had some plantain sweet potato underneath which was probably the best part of the meal. Unfortunately one of the cuts of oxtail put on the plate was almost completely bone and fat, there was very little meat on it. The dessert was the best part of the night, we ended up trying all three of the dessert offerings- coconut panna cotta, tiramisu, and a caramel creme brulee, and they were all very good. Although I will say the tiramisu and creme brûlée were not like I was expecting, and interesting take on those dishes. I'm glad we got to try this for Magical Dining pricing because I'm not sure it would be worth the regular (very expensive) prices for the experience we had. It was okay but I'm not sure I'd jump at the chance to come again.

Stopped in here for a quick mom's power hour. The design is so fun! Wish I could take the feel home with me to Tampa. The cocktails were delicious. The server was so knowledgeable and even brought us a little bar snack. Unfortunately we didn't have time for dinner but I can't wait to come back.

Dined in for dinner and was seated promptly at the time of the reservation. Service was definitely top notch and couldn't recommend the Chilean sea bass or lobster Mac and cheese more. The jerk lamb was also very well prepared. However there were some things that fell short. The octopus we ordered was unusually chewy and inedible. This was unfortunate because I was really looking forward to it and the flavors were there. We also requested to sit outside to catch the sunset and the ambiance was very disappointing. I would not recommend outside seating if given the choice again. They sat us in a screened in patio area which was nice to keep the Florida bugs away, but i think there was some electrical issues because the ceiling fan light flickered then would dim and turn off randomly the entire time.

My first experience is coming here was a couple of years ago and it was amazing. This time around, it was just okay. I'm not sure if the vibe was for or if the service was so-so or if the first time was just so good that it didn't compare ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ That being said, the Yuca fries are AMAZING. The Brussels sprouts were on point, and the area where we sat was moody great. I normally love the ambiance of this place so plan to come back and give it another try.

Four Flamingos was an unexpected surprise. I had never heard of this place until magical dining featured them on their list as Michelin rated. Parking was confusing but once I reached the restaurant, I instantly felt like I was on vacation. I waited at the bar for the rest of my party and received attentive service and the manager was extremely helpful in telling us about the restaurant and showcasing the magical dining menu. I enjoyed the resort style atmosphere, it felt like I was on vacation. The food was good and that lobster bisque was the best I have ever had. My only complaints would be the fish dish and oysters. The fish was overcooked, it was tough to chew and the oysters came out frozen. The waiter told me that it was because of the pearls on top, but I felt like I was eating an oyster popsicle. I would try this place before magical dining ends or come on a random Tuesday if you're looking for something different.

A little while back, my boss and I took some clients out to Four Flamingos in the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort. What an amazing experience!! It's a cute restaurant. The dining room is small, so reservations are definitely recommended. The service was outstanding! I started the evening with their "Florida Old-Fashioned." It's smoked and made with orange blossom bitters and spiced orange blossom honey syrup. It was good, but a little on the sweet side for me and I couldn't taste the smoke. As a starters I had the "Goat Cheese Brûlée" salad. The salad had a disk of bruleed goat cheese with strawberries and pine nuts. The tartness of the cheese was well balanced with the sweetness of the strawberries and the brulee. For my entrée, I ordered the "Florida Pompano." This was absolutely delicious! The fish was cooked perfectly with nice, crispy skin. For sides we ordered the "Sweet Corn Pudding" and the "Asparagus & Lemon Curd." The pudding was fantastic. It starts on the sweet side with the corn flavor coming through at the end. It was reminiscent of kettle corn. I wasn't a huge fan of the asparagus. The lemon curd felt out of place. Desert brought the "Flamingo Feathers." The was a rich chocolate cake with orange chocolate mousse. It was a perfect balance of chocolate and orange. This was my second visit, and it was terrific both times. It is a little on the pricey side, so for me, it's more of a special occasion restaurant.

I tried lobster bisque, mojo chicken and crème brûlée. Bisque was good, at the right spice level. Mojo chicken was good too, but it felt like it needs little bit more salt. I came with a big expectation for this dish-saw it at Michelin guide-, but it didn't meet my expectations. Crème brûlée was the star, it was rich without overwhelming. It has layers, nicely done techniques. Service and ambiance are higher than average, staff is so nice.

Wow!! One of the best meals I've had in a while hands down. Just overall super creative dishes that were super delicious. We weren't staying at the hotel, so did have a bit of a tricky time finding the restaurant. Next time I probably would have just valeted, but if you want to self-park, basically follow the self-park signs all the way to the back, and I mean all the way. You'll see Four Flamingos on the signs and then once you park, you follow their lighted path up some stairs where you'll see the restaurant. The interior is beautiful and very thoughtfully done, I do also love the open kitchen. Service was friendly and knowledgeable! We started with the ice cold oysters & pearls with a mojito mignonette, pineapple pearls. They were definitely some of the best oysters I've ever had. They truly are ice cold with the frozen pearls. Yum!! My next favorite dish was the oxtail demi-glace, poached asparagus, passionfruit hollandaise. The steak was cooked perfectly and between the seasoning, demi-glaze, and passionfruit hollandaise it was just so damn flavorful. The crab raviolo, to use my favorite 90's catchphrase, bomb. We were practically licking the plate. The black grouper was also excellent. The only dish I didn't really love was the stuffed avocado. Idk, maybe black lime just isn't my thing. Overall a delicious and memorable meal.

I was so disappointed! We were so excited for this meal and maybe if we got what we ordered we would have had a different experience. For context, we were a larger family celebrating a birthday, so I tried to be extra accepting of the fact we were a challenge to manage. I liked the atmosphere and the people were nice. I'm not sure what happened, we ordered the wagyu picanha steak, it sounded like the server suggested a side of scallops since we were splitting it, so we said ok. All that came out was a scallops plate, which weren't my favorite. I'd honestly never just order scallops, but since they came as a recommendation from the server I opted to try them WITH the picanha (I would have said no thank you to only scallops as a meal). Several people in our party had the sea bass and raved about it. I guess I should have just asked for them to get me what I ordered in the first place and I maybe would have enjoyed it a lot more. I've eaten in Michelin star restaurants before and this just didn't give me that same meal, unfortunately. I will say for the Orlando market it is much better quality than you typically get, but for someone that's eaten all over the world I was left going to my hotel bar and grabbing a bite before bed unfortunately. Not what you expect after a $400 meal (between 2).

I recently came here for a personal celebration and enjoyed (mostly!) every bite! First, I started with one of their gin and elderflower cocktails - delicious and refreshing - it was definitely giving flower power with the pink vibes and flower garnish. Then, we split the oyster and pearls - they were delicious and fresh - and the little pearls of pineapple were fun little pop of flavor. For my dinner, I opted for the sea bass - it was amazing and had a key lime sauce with a potato mash. Those I went to dinner with tried the jerk chicken and the crab raviolo and enjoyed both - they especially raved about the coconut rice. The one disappointing part of dinner was dessert. We got the creme brulee, which came with a passionfruit curd. While the top of the creme brulee was caramelized there wasn't enough surgar to actually make a crack - so it was a bit "soggy" to spoon into. And, the passionfruit was quite tart so we didn't finish it all. Overall, still a great meal with great service. (And you get free valet at the Hyatt when you have them validate your ticket!)

We went for our anniversary dinner and it was absolutely delicious. Chef Perez made our dinner so memorable. Service was phenomenal ! Appetizer : Tuna Tostada *Passion Fruit Yolk & Avacado Tartar ( this was sooo delicious and tangy) Bread & Butter * Coconut Medianoche & Sea Salt Butter Entree: Red Grouper *Creamed Yucca, Seafood Beaurre Blanc, Basil and Paprika w/ a side of Yucca Fries Rabo Encendido with carrot puree ( this was perfection. Soft and full of flavor) Dessert: The Coconut * Chocolate Shell, Coconut Mousse, Pandan Anglaise w/ a little Happy Anniversary Chocolate sign to close out the most beautiful dinner we've had. Thank you Four Flamingos for making our anniversary one we will never forget.

Best Dinner Ever!!!! Marc was an exceptional waiter with such expertise and excellent customer service with great recommendations! Definitely will be back and request him again! The Snapper and swordfish dishes were to die for! The Oysters & Pearls were exquisite! One of a kind experience and so fresh! Amazing drink cocktail presentations. The ambiance and vibe were super cozy and romantic. Can't wait to go back!

Let me start by saying we didn't research this restaurant beforehand, so we didn't realize it catered primarily to fish lovers. If you're considering visiting a fish restaurant without eating fish, this review might help. We ordered the kids' buttered pasta with broccoli, the jerked lamb, and the West Indian chicken. Someone in our group did order a fish dish, but I didn't try it. I did sample their mashed potatoes, though. The buttered pasta with broccoli was a hit with my two kids (ages three and five). They shared it and finished every bite. I ordered the jerked lamb, which was flavorful, but unfortunately, it was undercooked. I asked for medium, but it came out medium-rare and was extremely chewy. Additionally, the baby corn was undercooked. However, the sweet corn pudding and sheep's cheese were excellent and made up for some of the disappointment. The West Indian curry had great flavor, but the execution was lacking. The chicken was overcooked and tough to chew, while the collard greens were undercooked. The flavors were there, but the textures weren't. The broccolini was also undercooked and could have used more steaming or cooking. Given how perfectly the broccoli in the kids' meal was prepared, it was clear that the same attention wasn't given to our dishes. The mashed yuca was interesting. It had a strong cilantro flavor, which we found unique and enjoyable, though it might not appeal to everyone. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We had a party of seven, and they seated us in a semi-private area, which worked well since we had four kids who were winding down for the night. They provided coloring pages, crayons, and kids' cups, which helped keep the little ones entertained and mess-free. The service was attentive and friendly--no complaints there. As we were leaving, the chef greeted us while the kids checked out the lobster tank, which was a nice touch. All in all, it was a good experience, but the chef needs to pay closer attention to the execution of the adult meals to entice us to choose this restaurant over others, like the Lake House, the next time we visit the resort. One last note: I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't packed on a Saturday during the holiday season. We were able to reserve a spot for a large party just two hours before dining at 8:45 PM. I hope this isn't a sign of declining quality or popularity.

Visited for dinner with a few friends. We sat in the sun room and we were able to catch a beautiful sunset. The atmosphere and service were great. The server was very attentive and was able to answer all questions and give some good recommendations. We tried a few items on the menu and everything was delicious. The pork belly appetizer was the favorite, we ordered multiple. The drinks were also good and very pretty.

We brought our family to Four Flamingos for Easter Brunch. My husband was the one who chose this restaurant. I mention that because I would not have picked it myself seeing that it's a very seafood intensive menu (our daughter and I are not seafood people) and the Brunch was over $100/person. However, I will say that I was pleasantly surprised! I was super happy with Brunch and I did not leave hungry! Marc was our server and he was excellent! I would not hesitate to visit the Four Flamingos in the future.

Finally tried this place because of magical dining. I will admit, the MD menu didn't look that fantastic but it was a great deal. Our server was very friendly and helpful. We tried a few different drinks and unfortunately I don't really remember which they were, except for the key lime one which was awesome (had to specially asked for it). For appetizers I first got the lobster bisque but I didn't like it at all. It was spicy and didn't have a normal lobster bisque flavor, tasted more like a tex-mex tortilla soup, which I'm never a fan of. The server changed it out for the goat cheese brûlée which was significantly better. We also ordered the tuna appetizer that I had seen a lot of great reviews about and it didn't disappoint- so good! For meals I tried the black group and my partner tried the special MD dish, Rabo Encendido. Both were very good. I'm picky about fish but I really enjoyed the dish. The side was yucca mash but I wish I could have changed it for coconut rice or something else because again, it had a Tex-mex kind of flavor that I didn't love. For dessert, we ordered the dragon fruit tiramisu and the passion fruit crème brûlée. Both were good. I thought the tiramisu was very different and enjoyed that. Would I return? Yes, to try some other things.

If I think of the flavors of south Florida... this is it! Well done Richard Blais! This is my first time trying Four Flamingos, and I will make sure to return on my next trip to Disney! I may even make a drive here just for the food! Everything was delicious! From the drinks, to the food, and I even loved the little surrounding area that is part of the hotel where this restaurant is located. I decided to try the magical dining menu option, the cost was totally worth it! And it allowed me try quite a few things and of course I still added a little something because I just couldn't hold myself back! I would t recommend ordering more if you don't have a big appetite though... the dishes were of good proportion and I was more than satisfied really and ended up even taking some food back to my room. I absolutely loved their lobster bisque! It had a great consistency, rich in flavor, and the little pineapple and lobster salad in the middle was a pleasant and delightful surprise that gave me just enough texture to leave me wanting more. For the main course, I ordered the rabo encendido because it's Florida! And why wouldn't you!? Our server also said it was one of his favorite dishes, and boy was he right! The meat was super tender and in a delicious gravy. Dare I say, I don't think the confit carrot puree was necessary, I would have much rather have rice (which I ordered as an additional side). But other than that, I was very enjoyable! To finish, I ordered the chocolate mole for dessert, and wow! The mild spice and the delicious creaminess of the chocolate was out of this world! Overall, amazing experience and worth quite a few visits so I can try a few more of the dishes (it's quite an extensive menu).

We ate here two nights in a row we loved it so much. We had the crab cakes, Brussels sprouts, the salmon, snapper and filet. All amazing! My husband said the filet was the best steak he ever had!

Good food and great service! Came after a long day at Disney and wanted somewhere relaxing to unwind and have a good meal. We were fortunately seated by the large window, which was painted by the gorgeous hues of sunset. The menu was quickly explained to us, and we ordered a few drinks, apps and mains. While we waited for food, hot bread was brought out and paired with creamy butter - so delicious! Out of the apps, the tuna was my favorite and out of the main dishes, the cauliflower roast was my favorite. We had exceptional service throughout, with our waters always staying full and they even gifted us a baked key lime slice after learning we had ubered 30min just to try the restaurant! Def recommend especially for those on a date or wanting a nicer atmosphere

A restaurant as fun as I imagine Richard Blais personality to be - this was a great stop on a recent trip back home. From the moment you walk into the space, you're greeted with Florida vibes and decor. I wish I could remember the name of our server who was excellent and took care of our party of 10. So many options to choose from in the menu including a great cocktail list. I chose the Pink Flamingo which was refreshing and delicious. Pictured here are some of the faves of the table. The oysters and pearls were fresh. Love the pop of the pearls! Shrimp toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Same for the pork belly appetizer. The main show of the table was the whole fried fish. Awesome presentation - fresh and flaky meat. Finally, I can't leave home without key lime pie and their take with the Baked Florida was a great way to end the meal.

The ambiance was nice, the hostess tried seating us in the bar without asking if it was okay. She said that she thought the restaurant was too loud to seat us in the main dining area. So weird, she never asked our opinion. Give us the choice, don't just assume we want to sit in the bar area. The food was just okay. I was very surprised. I was very excited to try a Michelin rated restaurant but we were a bit shocked at how underwhelmed we were with the food. The filet mignon was perfection! The sea bass was also very good. I was not impressed with the presentation for the Seabass at all. Tasted great nonetheless. The coconut shrimp or basically coded with mayonnaise. It didn't taste like any sort of delicacy whatsoever, and it was not sweet or had any coconut on it that I could taste. Bummer. The crab cakes were so so, I have had much better elsewhere. The sauce however for the crabcakes was outstanding! Again, the presentation of the crabcakes look like two very burnt hockey pucks. So weird. I believe presentation is a big play into the experience. Our server was very nice, but not very polished. I ordered a tequila drink. And I am completely unsure what he gave me. The bartender just slopped it together. Unimpressed. Then I ordered a glass of rombauer Chardonnay, and I'm pretty sure I got something different. It definitely did not taste like traditional Rombauer. Then we had the specialty coffee Irish coffee drinks. They had non whipped cream on them or any garnish. It was very underwhelming and for a $20 drink I was pretty unimpressed. The deserts were fantastic!

Came here with a group. I wasn't overly excited by the menu, and unfortunately, we had a few folks who either didn't like seafood or had an allergy so that cut a few things down on the menu. Our server kept suggesting the seafood tower though we had a shellfish allergy at our table. When we said no, he suggested 2 or 3 of them for a group of our size. Felt very pushy and like he wasn't listening to us. We all ordered some apps - I liked the coconut shrimp toast. The avocado crab was literally crab meat inside of a half of avocado. Bit odd, but still not bad. I was waffling between the shrimp and grits or the swordfish. Our server had pushed me towards the swordfish since I had shrimp as my app. It was good, but it was extremely salty. Very difficult to get through most of it. Beautiful presentation though of this dish and some of the desserts and smoky drinks. We also got some sides to share at the table and I liked the broccolini, the yucca fries and bread and butter. I wanted to like this place more but I wasn't sold because of the options and the pushy server. I don't live in the area so don't think I'll be going back.

Beautiful restaurant located inside the Regency Grand Cypress Resort near Disney. Food and interior are upscale Florida with a twist of fun. We had a wonderful date night experience and would highly recommend! When you arrive you can valet or self-park... both are complementary. If you valet there is a bit of a walk to the restaurant but the resort is beautifully landscaped and scenic. From the valet to the host to the servers we encountered nothing but excellent, pleasant service. Everyone made you feel glad to be there. We started with The Office and The Pink Dragon cocktail and both were amazing. The charred grapefruit on the Office was a special treat. We wound up sharing four appetizers. The Tuna Tostadas and Shrimp Cocktail (with guava cocktail sauce) were both perfect! The Goat Cheese salad was good, just nothing exciting. The Crab Cakes (at $38 for an appetizer portion) were fine but bland and light on sauce. For dessert I ordered the Flamingo Barraquito drink and it was fantastic. Our Baked Florida was beautiful and served with a table side flambé... but the key lime pie was nearly frozen inside... disappointing. It's okay, we took it to go and it was perfect a few hours later. I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could... but alas the missteps on the Crab Cakes and Baked Florida kept them from a 5 star review. We would highly recommend... enjoy!

We went to Four Flamingos for my birthday and absolutely loved it! The food was incredible and the service was impeccable. Chef Blais just happened to be there that evening and was kind enough to come say hello as well. Highly recommend this location for some of the best seafood in the area!

The ambiance is florida tropical and airy vibes complete with the most delicious array of seafood, ceviche, and curated cocktails. this is a must stop if your at the hyatt and be sure to make a reservation as it gets crowded around 7. service was amazing and very attentive. we will be back!

We were here for a corporate event with a group of 40 people. We had the back room reserved with was perfect for the group size and had a ton of natural light with all the windows. The head chef Richard welcomed our group with was an added bonus. Service was on point and a team of servers kept drinks topped off and ensured a seamless experience. We had the seafood towers for an appetizer and I chose the swordfish prime rib for my entree. All the food was fresh, delicious, and presented beautifully. The dessert was also interesting which was coconut mousse dipped in chocolate that resembled a coconut on the half shell. This was one of three best meals I've eaten in Orlando and the rest of my colleagues and customers agreed that it was top notch. The dishes definitely show a lot of creativity and the FL roots. I'll definitely be back!

Fantastic happy hour. Chris was a phenomenal bartender. Food was delicious. Great array of choices on the happy hour menu.

Great atmosphere and food! We had 8 in our party and the service was very slow. We were there 2 hours which isn't horrible but the waiter was absent a lot. The guy who brought out the food was super friendly and attentive!

We stopped by here to have drinks and some apps before a formal dinner. Drinks and apps were great! All the drinks were pretty and transported us to a tropical place. For apps, we especially liked the charred octopus and ceviches. We happened to be there when Chef Richard Blaise was on-site and he was kind enough to stop by our table and took a photo with us. A number of us ordered his new cookbook and he even signed and personalized them for us. FYI The cookbooks are $60 on-site vs. $39.99 retail. It was a great experience. I wish we had the opportunity to dine here for a full meal!

We came for the first time for magical dining last week. It is located in the back of the Grand Cypress hotel and they validate valet parking. The restaurant is large and originally we were seated in the back along the windows but the AC was blasting though the floor so they moved us closer to the kitchen. The menu was very eclectic and not for those who don't like exploring new flavors. The goat cheese was of a generous portion in the salad and the lobster bisque had a great spicy flavor. The swordfish was an extra cost but was a huge potion and was juicy. The oxtail was flavorful but hard to cut meat off the bone. The rolls were nothing special. We liked the tiramisu but the cheesecake was too strange and spicy. To be fair, our server tried to steer us away but we did not listen. The server was very funny and we enjoyed watching the chef prepare the meals.

We celebrated our 13 year anniversary last week at Four Flamingos and it was one of the best meals ever! This was our third visit there and it was just as amazing as the first time. For an appetizer we did the Tuna Tostada with Passion Fruit Yolk after reading so many great reviews about it. All of the reviews were right and it was the perfect start to our meal!! It was so fresh and wasn't too heavy since we had a lot of food coming. For our main dishes I did the Swordfish Prime Rib and my husband did the Wagyu Picanha. Both were incredible. We also shared a side of the Coconut Steamed Rice. To end our meal they brought us a Baked Florida and it was the best way to end a really special meal. Thank you Four Flamingos for the best anniversary dinner!!

We went for dinner and tried the Magical Dining Menu; we had a ceviche, goat cheese salad, shrimp and grits, and swordfish steak; the food was tasty, not impressive, but tasty. Despite being $ 25 extra, the swordfish didn't include any sides, which was odd. The desserts were disappointing; they were overly sweet and looked like grocery store desserts, not worth the calories. We had the tiramisu and passion fruit cream Brule. The service was good, but at the beginning, it took way too long to get a table; even though we had a reservation, we had to wait 15 minutes after arrival.

Four Flamingos by Richard Blais has an adorable ambiance and a perfect blend between casual and fancy. The impeccable service and knowledgeable staff add to the overall positive atmosphere. We ordered everything that looked unique. 1. The Grouper Ceviche was wonderful. So fresh! It was thick cut pieces that melted in your mouth! 2. Broccolini - it's smoked with an amazing sauce so mix it up before you eat it. 3. Seafood Moqueca - this is a Brazilian seafood stew. It was delicious and included white fish, scallops, clams, crawfish and shrimp. Wonderfully and boldly flavored. 4. Crab and Crawfish stuffed twice baked potato - are you kidding me? Genius! Can I get another Crab and Crawfish stuffed twice baked potato?

4 stars for a good Orlando restaurant. My wife and I were visiting town and decided we wanted to get a nice dinner. After looking through various options, we decided to go with Four Flamingos. Located at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress, Four Flamingos has the look of a future Michelin Star restaurant with a beautiful entrance and flowing dining room with great views. The hostess set us down at our table and our waitress came out to say hello. She was generally pleasant throughout the evening, but the service in general wasn't anything to write home about. We started out with some fun drinks, including the Rum Burner (which comes with lighting a bubble on fire) and the Bird in Paradise (which involves a contraption that allows for multiple drinks). The drinks again were fine, but nothing blew me away. We then moved on to appetizers, which includes some really delicious bread. The appetizers we ordered included the oxtail and foie gras empanada, wild boar sliders, and the coconut shrimp toast. The first two items were pretty solid, with the sliders making for a great small lunch the next day. The coconut shrimp toast was interesting in that the shrimp was baked in and the dish was surprisingly spicy. We then moved on to our main dishes. I ordered the prime rib swordfish, which is exactly as it sounds with a swordfish made in the manner of a steak. The dish was quite large (and helped complete the next day's lunch) and was pretty solid. Overall, Four Flamingos did enough to merit a positive recommendation. While I wasn't as blown away as I was hoping, the overall combination of venue and food made for a good night.

Wow oh wow! If you're already spending a small fortune at Disney, make sure to stop by Four Flamingos for a real hidden gem of a fine dining experience. The flavors are top notch. Get the seafood tower and split it among the party. Seafood is cooked and presented really well. Fish ribs were extraordinarily tender, succulent, and flavorful. The accompanying sauce vert was extraordinary. The oysters were fantastic. The passion fruit flavored pearls on-top froze the oysters, which created a unique and delicious texture experience. Don't forget to try some of the seaweed garnish! The Gigantic stone crab claws were refreshing. The shrimp were some of the best I had. Not just boiled, but infused with flavor. Salmon croquettes were great, but a touch too sweet. Bread service was a little underwhelming. Steak was cooked at the precise correct temperature and was for tender. Service was top tier, with two dedicated waitresses. Water was promptly refilled and the chef even interacted with my son. It was a lovely family experience.
