The Best Dive Bars in Las Vegas | Eater Vegas

"Here’s a sports-obsessed bar that even sponsors two local softball and soccer teams. Most famed for their comfort food menu, in particular the Stromboli and pizza selections, this is a favorite of Guy Fieri’s. Unique for a Vegas dive bar, a separate back room welcomes families with children." - Janna Karel

If you're looking for incredible food, great drinks, and an unbeatable vibe, Four Kegs is THE place to be! I can't stop raving about this spot—especially their mouthwatering Stromboli, which is hands-down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, loaded with gooey cheese and savory fillings on the inside… it’s an absolute must-try. But the amazing experience doesn’t stop there. Rich, the bartender, is a LEGEND. Not only did he craft some of the tastiest drinks I’ve had in Vegas, but his hospitality and charisma made the afternoon unforgettable. He’s the kind of bartender who remembers your name, your drink, and keeps the good times rolling with great conversation. The atmosphere at Four Kegs is cozy, welcoming, and full of locals who clearly know this is one of Vegas’ best-kept secrets. Whether you're stopping in for a quick bite, watching the game, or just hanging out at the bar, you’re guaranteed a fantastic time. I wish I had more pictures to share, I usually do but we were so entertained I forgot I had one. Final Verdict: Amazing food (seriously, get the Stromboli!), top-notch service, and Rich behind the bar = a winning combo. Do yourself a favor and visit Four Kegs—you won’t regret it! 🍕🍻🔥 #FourKegsVegas #BestStromboliEver #RichTheBartenderMVP

4 Kegs is hands down one of the best spots in Vegas! Mario, the owner, is an absolute gem — friendly, welcoming, and always making sure you have a great time. But the real star? The Philly cheesesteak created by Mario himself. It’s out of this world — the best I’ve ever had in all my travels which is why I keep coming back here. Perfectly toasted bread, tender meat, and gooey cheese — just perfection. If you’re in Vegas, this place is a must!

Google
Decent place with good prices and decent bar food, most everything is fried, but not too greasy. I got fish and chips for 12.99, it came with 5 large pieces of fish, fries and cole slaw. It wasn't bad. UPDATE Aug 2024, today was my fourth visit to this place in one year, I had to update, customer service and food have been consistently very good. Today we had 7 topping combo deep dish pizza, it was great, crisp and still soft inside dough, fresh veggies. My friends had rack of ribs and stromboli, both delicious like usual. Our drinks were never empty and price is great for quality and quantity of food.

I really cannot say enough good things about this place. If I lived in Vegas, I wouldn't need a house or apartment, because I would live here. I love the old school interior, blemishes and all. I love the bartenders -- lovingly surly as they should be, and quick to refill your drink. I love the food. Best stromboli west of Brooklyn hands down. I love the people watching in the bar. Old timers who've found their place and always have some crazy story to tell. I love how much it angers my boss, who introduced me to this place, when I get to go, and he's stuck at work in Texas. So many good-natured profanities go flying! The video poker paytables are a little low, but I've somehow managed to win enough to pay the food/bar tab both times I've been here.

Google
Guy Fieri has gone on a lot about this place so it's been on my list to try for a while now. Since we live on the far side of town from this and there's so much good pizza available here that we don't really need to travel for the good stuff here like we did in our home state of WA, I was waiting for the right opportunity to meet up with someone visiting from our of town. That opportunity finally arrived and we made our plans. If this were in the Seattle area where there were exactly two decent spots to get a pizza when we finally fled in 2019. this would have entered regular rotation for us. In Las Vegas where you can't throw a rock without hitting good pizza, the pizza is pretty good but not so great that we'd drive the 25 minutes to get to it just for the food. Don't misunderstand, the pizza is very good. The crust is crispy but chewy like I love it and the prices are on par with similar offerings. We're not into the bar vibe but it isn't a deterrent. The server was very friendly but not particularly attentive. We went some long stretches without drink refills. When I was a kid, Shakey's existed in WA. I guess they still have one spot left in Renton but it's in a place so far of the freeway that it's mostly just patronized by neighborhood locals. The location in Auburn was my parents favorite pizza. Understand that my parents would be well into their 90's if they were still alive and they remembered exactly when pizza arrived in the US. I believe they were in college at the time. They loved it and we went to Shakey's every week in the 70's and most of the 80's when I was young. they liked it with mushrooms and olives, which I still don't care for. As any good parent should do, they ordered what they wanted and told me I was welcome to pick off anything I didn't like. the result was that I didn't really start to like pizza until I was in high school and I could go with my friends and order what I wanted. The thing I did like was their epic salad bar and that became my favorite part of Friday night pizza with my family. Because of that, if i eat pizza in a restaurant, I usually get some salad. It's part of the experience. Back when Pizza Hut used to be good, salad was part of their pizza buffet and my friends and I ate there nearly once a week. Same deal with Godfather's. When my kids were young, we took them to an awful WA chain called Alfy's that had comfortable restaurants with activities for kids. We could hang out with our friends who also had young kids and chat while the kids played and ate. Little kids don't care about cardboard pizza with ketchup sauce but for me, I just ate the salad. In our last few years before we left, we found a restaurant that had a pizza and salad deal where the salad was so good, I pretty much just ordered it for the salad and ate my pizza the next day as leftovers. With all of that, I was pretty happy to see what per the description, was a pretty decent salad on the menu here. As it turned out though, it was terrible. It looked like something you'd get in a high school cafeteria in the 80's and had American Cheese on it, which is a crime against food. I avoid fast food hamburgers primarily because I hate American cheese so much. I believe it was described as being cheddar on the menu but it was most definitely not. If the salad had been what it appeared to be on the menu, this might have been a destination spot for us.

Late night cravings? First time and and oh my GOD! One of the best pizza in town. Drinks are cheap and food is amazing. Definitely recommend for a good late night dinner.

Google
Ive been coming to this family owned, long time beer n food joint. great bar, seperate, food area if needed, We've held everything from awards banquet n sports, to meeting, to reunions, plus you never know who you will see in there. theres a viewing room but let me tell you there nothing like their pizza, stromboli the turkey/swiss i call the yumboli, fingers burgers breakfast, and great service with more than just a smile. , its like home. with chilled beer glasses. i dont have to wash. whats not to love.

Yelp
Been coming here pretty much my whole life and lots of good stuff! Philly streak, combo pizza and fried mushrooms are what I ordered today. Philly and pizza were great, mushrooms need help, they weren't as good as they used to be, so a little disappointed there. Other than that, same'ol Four Kegs which is nice. These dark divey classic Vegas taverns are going extinct. While waiting for the food we ordered a couple tap beers that are still the coldest in town! I could have sat there all day.
google avatar

Patrick C.

Yelp
Had lunch here and was impressed by the quality of both the food and the service. Tried their lunch special of a burger and fries and was quite pleased with the meal for the price. I will be back here!!
google avatar

Wendy D.

Yelp
The Kegs is family owned restaurant & dive bar with affordable drinks and food that does not disappoint! Let me tell you! The best chicken Philly I've ever had. The bread is warm, soft and toasty on the outside, full of yummy thinly sliced chicken, cheese, peppers, mushrooms. Get it with all the works plus jalapeños! Another star on the menu has to be the Cajun fries. Steak-cut fries cooked/tossed in buffalo sauce. They're saucy, they're flavorful, they're downright delicious! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Pizza and hot wings! Can't go wrong there. It's a pan crust pizza with whatever your heart desires & some wings to go along with it. I don't typically get their burgers but my brother says they're good! He likes to order the bacon western burger. Servers are all attentive, and friendly. :) The best part - it's affordable, great portions &&& it's open 24/7 so you can stop by on your lunch break, with your family, after work, after a night out, they even have breakfast!

Yelp
Love going to this place. Right down the street. Great food. Stromboli is my favorite
google avatar

Kathy W.

Yelp
Is this place classy? Nope. It's a Vegas sports bar, complete with a smoky, dark front room with slot machines, plenty of TVs, pro bartenders, and lots of locals. But venture through the doors to the restaurant and you'll find a room that time forgot, a menu loaded with Italian favorites, efficient staff who will get your order going and on your table in a flash...and unbelievably delicious food. Lunch specials are an amazing deal. I had the lunch special calzone...and I had leftovers for two days. If the waitress suggests a tweak (e.g. "You want sauce on that?") just say yes. You won't regret it.
google avatar

Anabelle D.

Yelp
Fun sports bar that also has some great food. My man loves their Stromboli and I usually order the cheesesteak or pizza. The bar area is separated from the dining rooms but the smell of smoking is pretty intense everywhere. Usually my cheesesteak is great but this time it came with far too much cheese and I ended up removing half of it. The server was the sweetest and was willing to get it redone for me which I really appreciate. Usually the food is spot on. They are open 24/7 and were featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
google avatar

John R.

Yelp
This is my go to place for the last 10 years always hits! Philly cheesesteak is the best beats every single place in town trust me I've tried them all stop looking and head on down to the four keys
google avatar

Kay S.

Yelp
So I was told to come check out the Stromboli because there's a deal for 1/2 off the price after midnight I got the original Stromboli large. I saw on the menu it was for $15.49 for the large and noticed I'm still getting charged for $19.50 it wasn't worth it. I ate 2 bites and it was not what expected. It was gross. I threw it away the rest immediately.
google avatar

Yelp
Every time we come for the Strombolis they ant ever changed and stayed the same I highly recommend it hidden gem if you not from Vegas you wouldn't know my wife even thinks over the years it even got better I ordered the meatball Stromboli and wife ordered the oringal one both size small where perfect too

Yelp
First time here on the recommendation of life long Las Vegans. When you walk in it's your typical dive bar but they have a separate area for eating that is smoke free! Then you see the pictures of Guy Fieri from his iconic show- Diners, Drive Ins and Dives. He reviewed this place on his show. The music was great! As for the food, I had the small Stromboli and they are HUGE. Not sure what the large ones look like. The veggies were great, although I thought the green peppers were too crisp and like them better a little more cooked in a Stromboli. Tue crust was outstanding! One of our party ordered a pizza without olives and it had olives- they offered to remake it but easier just to remove them yourself at that point. And again they raved about the pizza crust. The beer was cold and frosty! Thats always a plus. We would definitely return if we are in the neighborhood again.

Yelp
Amazing service, came fast to serve my food and alcohol! Didn't think they would serve alcohol at this time but they did it fast. Even asked me for refills Joanne deserves a 5 star for her service!

Yelp
Great place to watch a game, have a few drinks, and eat great food!! Very relaxed and casual atmosphere. The restaurant area is non-smoking, but the bar/casino area is for smoking.
google avatar

Doug M.

Yelp
Stop by here once a year for a Stromboli. Brings back memories of eating with my father. Service is top notch and lunch specials M-F are the best in the area. Definitely a go to stop in Vegas if you want something unique and different.
google avatar

Yelp
I had a few Drinks and a calzone everything was excellent. Two older gentleman ran the whole place bar in the front and restaurant in the back. They were a pleasure to watch work and talk to.

Yelp
Of course had to come here!! Seen it on triple D!! Fast and friendly service!! Order mozzarella cheese sticks and zucchini sticks. Very good. Mozzarella sticks came with marinara sauce. And zucchini sticks cam with ranch AND it was the good ranch! Son had the hot Sub sandwich and fries. Pretty big sandwich and came with Italian dipping sauce. I had the Original Stromboli. Comes with ham, salami, sausage, pepperoni, mozzarella and marinara. Also marinara to dip. The bread wasn't too much. Equal amount of everything! SO GOOD Hubs had the steak n shrimp with potato salad and veggies. Steak was perfectly cook. Shrimp didn't have too much breading and was cooked good. Had cocktails to go with our dinner. With a full bar you can get pretty much anything!! Glad we are locals. We will definitely be back!!!

Cinthya G.

Yelp
blonde shorty with the bangs is the best bartender ever! FOUR KEGS FOR LIFFEEEEE! 10/10 Philly cheese steak!
google avatar

Michelle F.

Yelp
A hidden gem. They have a bar area and super are dining area. Plenty of machines to gamble. More of a dive bar feel. Tried their wings and a medium Hawaiian pizza. Both items were plenty for two to share. The bartender was attentive and had a heavy pour. I left feeling tipsy and full. Perfect! Will return.
google avatar

Gustavo G.

Yelp
Great service! Our Bartender Keith was very friendly and patient with our order. Even with a full bar he took the time to answer our question about the menu. The food was excellent!
google avatar

Gene L.

Yelp
Fast courteous service, on the phone & food was ready on time. Medium combo pizza was great MAC & cheese wedges would be WAY better with marinara sauce; truly should be offered as an option. Ranch does NOT go with everything Cajun fries were severely undercooked. Had to finish them in a frying pan @ home. Still had great flavor So...check your order B4 you leave And request a side of marinara

Solvina A.

Yelp
One of the best Dive bars. A nice hole in the wall with delicious pizza and Caesar salad for a great price!! Definitely recommend for good food!!
google avatar

Tracey F.

Yelp
Got to cross another Triple D location off the list. The spot is in a bit seedy area of town and looks very ho-hum from the outside. Food was standard bar food, but the Stromboli was good. Had the Cajun fries (pictured), mozzarella sticks, and breaded cauliflower for apps. Fries and cauliflower were good, mozzarella sticks nothing special. Several in the group tried the original Stromboli, also looked great. I had a turkey and Swiss, which was also good. We all got small Stromboli, and those were plenty huge.

Yelp
Decided to try Four Kegs on the recommend of a friend. We pulled into parking lot and were greeted by a facade covered in Large Wooden Kegs and what looked to be the Lets Make a Deal stage set. Would you like what is behind Door Number 1, Door Number 2 or Door Number 3? We opted for the middle door. Door Number 2 entered directly into a small, dark and somewhat smoky bar. Glass doors on either side of the bar led to the wrap around dining area where the smell of smoke faded away and was replaced by the unpleasant odor of one of the bathrooms. All part of the 46 years of charm right? We ordered some Wings, a Meatball Stromboli, and on the reference of our friend, the Philly Steak. The wings were hot and crispy, though seemed extremely light on sauce, though the server was kind enough to bring us some extra to spice them up a bit. The Boli was perfectly cooked, the dough was delicious but the meatballs inside were just ok and not very hot. The Philly Steak was a typical Steak Sandwich you would find here in the Valley, nothing special here-though I am sure I will take some heat for that last one! The service was very good, even with one person taking care of the whole restaurant by herself and the beer is super cold.
google avatar

Autumn M.

Yelp
Great food and amazing staff! I've been going here for over 25 years! Restaurant is separate from bar:)

Arthur G.

Yelp
Great go to since the 70's over 50 years of great business. We love going there for drinks and good bar food. 5 star plus "pan Pizza". The pizza here is phenomenal. Probably one of the best places you can get a " pan pizza" in Vegas. Try any pan pizza and guaranteed you will not be disappointed! A little pricey, but definitely worth it.
google avatar

Yelp
In town for a convention. I had heard about Four Kegs online and decided to check it out for a late lunch. It did not disappoint. My husband and i had a nice cold beer. We ordered their original Stromboli and a cheese steak sandwich. It was so delicious. Our bartender was very genuinely friendly. It was an old fashioned neighborhood style bar. The experience was great all around.
google avatar

Johnny M.

Yelp
Get the Stromboli! It was the best thing we had there. We did try the chicken wings and they were hot and fresh. But, they tasted old. We each took a bite and both agreed they were not good. We did get them naked with sauce on the side. The sauce which was shrimp scampi sauce was amazing! We told our waitress about the wings and she took them off our bill. We also got the fried mushrooms and they were crispy outside and soggy and doughy inside. We just left them on the table. I would not get them again. So get the stromboli. It was really good. We ended up dipping it in the scampi sauce. It was a fantastic butter garlic sauce. So good on the stromboli crust. It was 2008 when triple D was last here. It was a bit worn looking and is overdue for a remodel.
google avatar

Patricia B.

Yelp
Dined here because a friend saw it on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Guy Fieri said this place has the best stromboli and he wasn't wrong. The crust is so delicious. We also ordered pizza but skip that and stick to the stromboli. You won't be sorry. Worth the cab ride off the strip.
google avatar

Joe D.

Yelp
4 1/2 out of 5. Very comfortable neighborhood sports bar. It's character drips personality... reminds me of neighborhood bars I grew up with in the North East. Had an option for the dining room, but chose the bar. The bartender, Marco (I think) was welcoming and humorous. We came here for the Stromboli, and the Original Stromboli we had. This was a great rendition of this style sandwich, one we truly enjoyed. The crust was perfectly crunchy, the fillings plentiful, and the red sauce properly proportioned. You can get a side of the Marinara if you feel like drenching this beauty. My wife, who was reluctant about the bar side, looked at me after her second bite and said "we are doing this again... maybe more than once". If you know her, this says volumes about this offering. MY KIND OF PLACE.
google avatar

Gloria S.

Yelp
Great food. Have been going there for many years. Highly recommend! Pizza, Stromboli, chicken wings, chicken fingers.
google avatar

Chyna C.

Yelp
Heard from a Facebook Las Vegas group that Four Kegs had the best stromboli, so we ordered online and off we went! Not the best area of town, and we did feel a bit awkward once we were inside since it's so small We ordered: - Hawaiian Boli ($15.49 Ham, Pineapple, Jalapeno) - the dough of the stromboli was pretty good, so soft and fluffy - Chicken Nachos ($11.99) - Big portion and it was just ok Wasn't good enough to want to go there again though, but glad we tried it
google avatar

Yelp
Gosh this service was God awful! The server is so bad i couldn't wait to write my review and I haven't even gotten my food yet. I used to come here back in the day and the set up is still the same. Some machines at the bar literally like 4 and then some around the walls of the bar. Came in just to get a Philly and also got some pot stickers. The sever is just here for a check no acknowledgement no hi just walked up after a few minutes and asked what we wanted. He didnt even let us finish our order before he walked off he didnt ask what side i wanted with my philly. At this point im annoyed and dont even want to be here... any way the food came out fast thank God.. thats all i got.. oh wait the food, well the fries were burnt the philly was bland af and my pot stickers were just that deep fried pot stickers with sweet and sour sauce... no effort at all seems like.. then the KICKER he comes with the tab and never handed it to us he just asked for the card.. im at a lost for words.. i WILL NOT BE BACK. Ever

Yelp
My quest for the best burger in North Las Vegas took me to Four Kegs. Four Kegs has personality for miles. Wedged between a tax place and a laundromat in a strip mall, its doors open up to a kind of grungy suburban indulgence. We headed to the restaurant side and after exploring for a few minutes figured we should seat ourselves. The waitress found us soon enough. The menu seemed to work hard to have a little something for everyone, but focusing on their pizzas and stromboli sandwiches. We were here for their " 1/2 lb. Burgers." I went with my brother, and we both ordered their default hamburger. After a respectable wait, we were delivered a glistening open-faced burger, which hid its attractive top bun. The first bite of the burger was a bit of an adventure spitting a jet of grease across the table. The generous iceberg lettuce gives the burger a pretty tall initial profile, but it crunches down satisfyingly and fits easily in your hands. The bun has a satisfying sesame hint, and it's toasted just enough to hold in the juices, but no more. But far and away the star of this burger is the beef. Of the seven burgers I've reviewed from San Antonio and now Las Vegas this was easily the most flavorful beef. The patty was thick enough that you could really appreciate the savory. But thin enough that the texture remained even throughout. The only other flavors in this burger were three pickle chips that were fresh and crunchy, and the cheddar cheese which was abundant enough to notice. But both of these flavors were largely sidelined by the beef. If I had one complaint it was the aforementioned iceberg lettuce. The lightness proved to be a nice complement with the strong beef flavor, but at times, especially near the end of the burger felt a bit too much. A couple of my last few bites felt more like a salad with some beef and soft croutons. The bottom bun also survived to the end of the burger, but only barely. The burger was rounded out with a tomato that fit perfectly across the bun, but that was just a touch too mealy. The fries, if you care, were well-crisped steak fries with good body that felt like an important addition to the meal. All in all, this is a great bun and a great patty, that's just struggling to find the right mix of partners. But with the reasonable price, and (I can't emphasize this enough) truly incredible flavor, I can't wait to try it again. Thanks for letting me visit!

K F.

Yelp
I've been going to Four Kegs since I was 5 years old. I love this place. It has not changed in 40 years. I am a simple eater so I basically only get chicken fingers (mild or hot) and, of course, the CAJUN FRIES! My favorite fries on the planet, especially if you get the right cooks for the day and they make them saucy. Yum. My husband likes the strombolis and they are definitely good, and so is the deep dish pizza, but for me, it's always about those chicken fingers and fries. I also love that even though I have been away from Vegas for 6 years, there always seems to be a waitress that I recognize still there. Gives you that comfort feeling. Keep up the great work guys, and keep those fries saucy! :-)

T G.

Yelp
The garlic wings mixed with the hot wings are so good and the pizza is so chewy it's amazing
google avatar

Jay H.

Yelp
Hole in the wall place that is in a sketch part of Vegas, but so worth it. Guy Fieri came here and said best Stromboli ever and i agree (I've only ate about 7 in my life). Also got the Philly cheesesteak and that was legit too. Great service, great bread and great prices make this a 5 spot...
google avatar

Amy M.

Yelp
We stopped in here based on Guy Fieri's recommendation on his shoe. The food did not disappoint and our server was top notch! Stromboli and wings- highly recommend! Delicious! We only held one star due to location. It is outside of the city, a little rougher looking area. However, we found it to be a local charming spot. We love the hometown feel.
google avatar

Don K.

Yelp
All the other reviews are very accurate. Good food, reasonably priced, attentive service, and dive bar atmosphere. Don't know what Guy thought was so unique about it but was worth visiting at least once.
google avatar

Christina K.

Yelp
I am purely rating on my favorite item here which is the Original Stromboli. Often times places either have it too bready or too cheesey. Four Kegs gets it spot on! To date, the picture I have here is probably the best Stromboli I have ever had there. It was perfectly browned, nice crispy top and bottom crust, not soggy at all and it was delicious. If you're looking for a great Stromboli - head over here!
google avatar

Freddy V.

Yelp
Love this place any time day or night foods always hot and always hits the spot! Staff's real cool too
google avatar

Jim M.

Yelp
The best Sicilian pizza, Stromboli and calzones among everything else on the menu. Pizza is 1/2 off after midnight for dine in. Mario has kept up the 4 kegs tradition.
google avatar

Graciela P.

Yelp
Remember people when you walk in here that it's a sports bar, not a fancy restaurant lol. They do have a dinning area on the side once you enter to the right where you can sit down and eat without the hassle of the whole cigarette smell but not too much its still noticeable, so be aware of that if you are planning on taking the kids with you. Children are allowed after hours but must be accompanied by an adult. We wanted to try out the chili cheese fries not bad, not bad at all. Well seasoned fries good chili and nice amount of melted cheese. I ordered the small original stromboli since I knew we weren't going to finish the large lol. We both liked it nice crust, inside was nice and hot. They offered more marinara sauce but I didn't think it was needed to we said no. My sister ordered the meatball sandwich and it came with a side, she chose potato salad. The meatballs were very delicious and I actually liked the potato salad it wasn't to overpowering with extra ingredients. Staff here was very friendly and would definitely return if in the area again.
google avatar

Chris L.

Yelp
Came in after not being here for 15 years. Had the small original Stromboli. Everything is the same as it ever was, menu, furnishings, everything. The boli was predictably perfect. If you've never been here, order the original Stromboli first, then go from there. I've had the Sicilian pizza in years past too, and it never disappointed either.

Brad K.

Yelp
I saw this place recently on diners, drive-ins, and dives. It looked good so I thought I would give it a shot with a good buddy. It's a old school divey type joint. Love it. We started with the scampi wings. Not too hard to make. The sauce was a bit if a let down. When they arrived the wings were sitting on the sauce and not mixed up in it. They were all a good size so not so bad. My cheese steak was good. It could have used a bit more meat in it but the flavors were well balanced and nothing took away from its taste. I advise to get a side of the au jous and make it an event. Added just the right amount of additional salt and taste. My friend had the redneck burger no peppers. It was a big hit. The cost of the meal was not expensive at all and the beers are served in old school goblets. Definitely looking to go back and try their famous Stromboli. I'm from the north east so it better wow me!

Yelp
Four Kegs is the ultimate neighborhood dive bar. It's been around for ages and hasn't changed. I can't explain why, maybe it's the mug?, but their draft beer is always SOOOO good. It's always ice. Old and goes down smooth. They are known (Diners, Dives& Drive In's) for their Stromboli. My families favorite is the turkey and Swiss which we dip in their BBQ sauce. YUMmmm! The original and meatball boli's are pretty great too. Their pizza's are deep dish and delicious! Wings good! Burgers too! Well just about everything is pretty tasty as far as bar food goes.

Yelp
Donald and I stopped here to have an early lunch before we leave for the airport. This was on diners drive-ins and dives and we discovered after meeting the owner Mario that this was the original first show for diners drive-ins and dives. We ordered the original Stromboli which was amazing. And also had Mario pose with us for pictures. What a great experience

Yelp
Went there on a recommendation from a friend. Was told they had amazing Strombolis. In Chicago they think they know a thing or two about Pizza, Hot Dogs, and Strombolis, so i know my way around these things pretty well. walked in and the young lady waitressing immediately made me feel welcomed by taking my order. I asked for a cold draft beer, and she got it to me in under a minute and there was ice on the glass - Starting to look REAL positive!! Its 116 today by the thermostat on my car, and i cant think of much that is more refreshing than an ICE COLD beer with ice on the glass on a HOT day!! next i ordered the "original" Stromboli and it arrived quickly and it was AMAZING!! The crust was the PERFECT amount of crunchy and buttery. It was the best i have ever had anywhere and i like to think i have had some GOOD Strombolis! Didn't know or care about the Guy Fieri thing but apparently this place was on the tv show he did. This would make the third place that he did on his show that i have been to that i REALLY like, so maybe i need to look into more? Maybe something to this. Doesn't look like much really on the outside. Not really anything to write home about on the inside either, but what is REALLY important was the service, and the food and drinks - ALL OF WHICH WERE EXCEPTIONAL!! Me and my table neighbor struck up a friendly conversation about how amazing it is to have ice on the glass on the beer and how that hits the SPOT on a hot day!! Fealt like friends and family all the way around inside! I will be coming back!! and thank you for an amazing lunch with amazing service!!

Yelp
Good overall. Stromboli is definitely not the best. Contrary to Guy Fieri. But it was good. We had the macaroni and cheese wedges for an appetizer. It was good but a couple were cold in the middle which is not the best experience. Beers were cold. Price was right. Ambience clean and service was prompt.
