The Best Bars in Phoenix, Arizona | Eater Phoenix

"Housed in a 100-year-old Mission Revival-style warehouse in Tempe, Four Peaks is not only Arizona’s biggest brewery but one of its oldest, turning out 14 year-round beers — including its flagship Scottish Ale called Kilt Lifter — as well as popular seasonal brews like the excellent pumpkin porter. The brewery was bought by Anheuser Busch in 2015, but nothing much has changed. The brick-walled and cavernous place is still beloved by spring training fans and ASU students of drinking age who love the patio, massive bar and laidback vibe. There’s plenty of beer-friendly food too, including the requisite wings, nachos, burgers, and pizza as well as more creative offerings such as carne adovada, green chile mac and cheese, and a poke bowl. And if you need a beer before or after a flight (who doesn’t?), Four Peaks has opened an outpost in Terminal 4 at Sky Harbor Airport." - Nikki Buchanan

Girls’ night approved! Stopped by Four Peaks Brewing Company in Tempe just for drinks and dessert with the girls, and it did not disappoint. We sat at the first bar and I ordered the Pink Pony Club (vodka + peach schnapps = dreamy), and it was the perfect summer cocktail — light, fruity, and dangerously easy to drink. For dessert, we shared the summer lemon bars with coconut ice cream, and wow. The lemon bars were tart and buttery, and that coconut ice cream was next-level — creamy, refreshing, and not too sweet. Vibes were chill, service was fast, and the whole spot had a great local Tempe energy. Will definitely be back — maybe next time for the full dinner menu!

Absolutely love this place!!! Been coming here for years now. The drinks AND food are both tremendous (can't say the same about other breweries in the valley). Love the atmosphere and the staff is always so friendly, if you're in the area try this place! (Try a peach beer) 10/10!

I went here with my wife for some fish and chips, I am a British person, my wife is American and I would say the fish and chips are the same back in the UK once you get that vinegar, my wife also got to enjoy British style fish and chips, I also had a few flights and the IPA beers are amazing.

1st visit and it was easy to find. The insid area is massive with plenty of seating. Beer is brewed on sight and is very fresh! Pretzel bacon cheeseburger was great and fish & chips even better. Definitely going to be back.

I can’t say enough about this brewery. It’s spacious and popular. I had a flight of beers and they were all great. We had wings and the mac & cheese which were also delicious. The USA vs Canada hockey game was on, and when requested, they were willing to turn on the sound for us. It was a fun night!

We toured ASU and heard this was a great place to come. That recommendation did not fail us! The staff are incredibly friendly and making small talk even while we were looking in the gift shop. We all got flights of beer and were not disappointed by any of them. Everyone really enjoyed the peach ale. Then our group ordered the Southwest chop salad, buffalo chicken Caesar salad, Quesorito burger, chicken strips, and the fish and chips. Each item was so great. If you’re in the Tempe (correct pronunciation we leaders: temp-ee) area, we highly recommend you take a look at this inside-outside bar with great drinks and food. And if you get Ashley as a waitress, you are going to be treated like a friend. Loved it and will come back anytime in the are.

I had a great experience at that place! The outdoor seating added a fantastic atmosphere that really made the evening different. I had the best burger I've tasted in a long while – it was cooked to perfection, tasted incredible, and was presented beautifully. What stood out as much as the food was the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. They made us feel welcome and added to the overall great experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and a pleasant dining atmosphere

Wife & I love Fish & Chips! Try them at many places… breweries seem to have the best. So off to Four Peaks we went! Sat outside… wife ordered the Fish & Chips… I changed and thought I’d test their Chickens Strips & Chips… OMG… they were both awesome!
