A Germantown original where pitmaster brunch meets strong craft beer: smoked-meat hashes, wings-topped Bloody Marys, and weekday barbecue chops. Brunch hours and a recent critic’s praise confirm it’s still cooking. Great atmosphere, live music certain nights of the week and a rotating beer menu. My husband gives the Antelope a 4.5/5 and said it’s one of the best burgers he’s had. Definitely get the brisket nachos. I had the pulled chicken it was delicious. Daniel was friendly and a great server on a really busy night. It was a good experience, we will be back for sure.

A really good spot for some bbq and beer. Many types of draft and cans/bottles, so you’ll never get bored. The beef brisket sandwich was really good and the Mac and Cheese was excellent. Lemon pepper wings were delicious and the fries were seasoned perfectly. Cool atmosphere and nice outside seating options as well. Stop on by if you get a chance.

We visited two times over the course of a weekend - friday night was 4 hours at a 5-star. Saturday evening was barely a four star visit. So I'm rounding up. Ara was our waitress on Friday evening and was freaking amazing! Our waitress on Saturday seemed distracted and only came by a couple times - drinks sat empty quite a while and it was no busier than it was the day before with fewer waitresses. They don't have a ton of tables inside, but there are a couple on the sidewalk and a patio of sorts behind the building. So, hopefully the weather is nice enough that you can find a place. They don't serve most national brands of beer, just so you know. My ultra-picky brother and my mom tend to be homebodies when it comes to beer but did try a few. So, don't be afraid of venturing out. Same kind of goes for the bourbon / whiskey choices. Lots of local or regional options, but not a lot of national ones (no captain morgan, for example). Now for the food: fried pickle appetizer is made of bread n butter pickles. They were fine, but I would have preferred a heads-up since I don't normally like that flavor of pickle. Not real salty, though. Smoked wings are AMAZING! So good, so yummy, so tasty. Next up, the smoked bologna sandwich. By itself, a really good sandwich. I'd love it and come back for me. My problem? My brother ordered the pork belly sandwich on grilled cheese. Holy freaking cow! That thing was incredible! Ruined my perfectly yummy smoked bologna sandwich though. The fries you are offered by default are not typical fries - think larger chunks of fries, like home fries (but with a nice seasoning blend on them). Beer mac n cheese is not bad. It's got a good flavor and is super gooey, but I wasn't blown away. They were out of lots of stuff when we visited on Saturday so I didn't get to try the Cuban - I'm sure it's great. :) Bonus - there was live music inside on Friday evening. It's nothing spectacular, but it was a nice touch.

Absolutely hands down the best food I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Our food was simply amazing, our waitress was awesome, and the atmosphere was on point. Will be returning that's for sure!

Four Pegs has some of the best BBQ in town, but my go to would have to be the fried pickles. Friendly staff, delicious food, and a great beer selection!

Had the brisket sandwich with slaw ($15) - could have chosen fries instead (they looked delicious). The sandwich was pretty perfect. Lotta meat, just the right amount of sauce (for me) and the bun was great too. Topped it with the coleslaw, and went at it. Pretty amazing. A buddy of mine has the fried pickles appetizer (which he shared) and it too was very good. A group of us were there late-to-closing (past actually), so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Our waitress was attentive and spot on (even though suffering from a major sinus attack). I will definitely be back.

First time today (Easter 2021), but definitely not the last. I don't think my vocabulary has the right words to describe the food here. All I can say is I was not disappointed, nor was anyone else in our group. The food is plentiful, the staff is so friendly and awesome, the beer selection is good, and the owner is TOP NOTCH! I will definitely be back and I will also bring all my friends. So. Damn. Good! The outside area is great. Some shade, some sun. It really is such a wonderful (perhaps overlooked) gem in Louisville.

Good food takes some time to make, ok? You might wait a bit longer here for it, but the thing is, they're doing things with food here that other places just aren't. They want to give you something you haven't had, whether it's a completely different kind of dish or an awesome new spin on something you've had somewhere else. The food here is some of the best that I've had anywhere in the US, frankly, and the owners and staff are all great people as well, so please be nice to them.

Yelp
Casual, salt-of-the-earth vibes with a huge leaderboard listing names of people who have had an ungodly amount of BBQ food in one-sitting. Our server was very busy, but still checking in regularly. I ordered a gin and tonic that was SO strong. . So it just wasn't for me. But I am not going to complain, because a strong cocktail should be expected at a spot like this. I also didn't specify the gin. I ordered the Texas Twinkie Smoked Sausage, which includes the start of the show: a brisket, jalapeno and Oaxaca cheese sausage smoked to perfection with hickory and cherry. It was so delicious. Great snap. Amazing, well-developed smoke flavors. Covered in gouda beer cheese, fried jalapeños, fried onions and beef tallow horseradish aioli on a pretzel bun - the bun couldn't handle it. So I recommend getting a knife with this bad boy. Absolutely delicious.

Yelp
We dined at Four Pegs on Monday for a fundraising night for Germantown Baseball. First, love that this business gives back to the community! We arrived around 7:30 and there were a few tables, but it wasn't very crowded. We waited at the front to be seated, which took a few minutes. We grabbed a seat by the window. Again, we had to wait a few minutes before I went to the bar for a menu. I was advised there was a QR code in the bar menu, which we quickly found. We ordered several starters including the smoked wings ($14.50) for eight wings, the loaded nachos with pulled pork, chili (18.50), Mac n cheese ($6.50) and side of tots. We didn't wait long and our food arrived - nice and hot! Everything was very good. My only complaint was the chips included with the nachos, but overall they were loaded down with toppings. The wings were large and smoked to perfection! After we finished with the appetizers we decided we wanted to order some additional food but again it took a while for a server to come over. We ordered another basket of wings and pretzel and beer cheese ($12.50). There are a ton of options for wet and dry rubs for wings but our kids wanted to stick with the classic. The pretzel was normal sized with a large portion of beer cheese - we needed another pretzel to eat all the beer cheese. Overall we really enjoyed the food. Don't go there if you're in a hurry, service was slow but very friendly. Prices were a bit high for portions of food, but we were happy to support a neighborhood team!

Yelp
We had a rough start to the week, so a couple of beers and wings sounded perfect. Normally we'd walk to Goss Avenue from our house, but once my wife said "Four Pegs," I wanted to get there as quickly as we could, so we drove. This was our first time to the bar in almost a year, but it's a place that we have a long history with. I've been to Four Pegs at least a dozen times since 2019 when we started dating. I was living in Lexington at the time visiting my now-wife, and was craving BBQ. I forget if it was pork or brisket, but it was tasty. The next time we went, I ordered wings and was hooked! Over the past couple of years, however, the quality to me was inconsistent. Sometimes the wings were the best in the city and other times it felt as if we got the bottom of the batch. After the last underwhelming visit in 2024, we decided to take a break and give it another chance later. Well, that night finally happened. On this April 2025 night, the wings were incredible! I got their BBQ and Smoked Soul sauces and enjoyed dipping and dunking in both. The bartender saw we had a rough night before, and poured my wife a double Tito's. All the servers were friendly, and we ended up lingering much longer as we enjoyed the bar. There was a crowd, but not too packed. For a Tuesday night, the atmosphere was perfect. This visit was 5 stars, but I'm accounting for many meals over the past few years in my rating. I'm very excited to add this place back into our consistent rotation, and can't wait for the next time.

Yelp
Absolutely outrageous BBQ. Smoked wings, brisket topped with bourbon bacon jam & house barbecue sauce, cooked in beef tallow seasoned "dipper fries" Ridiculous. Chef has it dialed and it shows. Perfect presentation, textures and flavor! Rich sauces seasonings and excellent service. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Wow, love this place. Just an old ass bar turned into a premiere smokehouse. The food was delicious, I personally got the "BASH" , Burbon and strawberry habanero, smoked wings and a salad. It was amazing. The bar tender was having tap issues but made it work and even gave me some freebies! I would recommend this establishment!!

Yelp
Had Friday Fish & Chips at Four Pegs and it was delicious! Our server was friendly and fast. Four Pegs is obviously a neighborhood staple. We saw a lot of locals walking in to eat. No lot for parking but lots of street availability. Smells divine with the meat smoker right outside. Want to return to try their ribs & wings!
google avatar

Heather K.

Yelp
Awesome small dive bar-was recommended by friends as we are visiting. Honestly I think the best wings I have ever had! The gripper seasoning hands down best but the wings themselves needed nothing for great taste! QR drink menu tricky but otherwise service was great! Will def be back when we visit again!

Yelp
This is a delightful little hole-in-the-wall spot with some great ambiance and terrific servers working. The highlight was the smoked wings, especially the ones with their homemade buffalo sauce. Those might have been the best buffalo wings I've ever eaten, with a delightful sweetness that balanced out the spice. The ribs and pulled chicken were both nice as well. And the tater tots were second to none. If I lived in Louisville, those buffalo wings would be my go-to

Yelp
A little BBQ gem here in Louisville. Amazing vibe in this old building. Part BBQ joint, part dive bar! Amazing menu with great food. The bartender was very friendly and provided excellent service. My smoked turkey club was awesome, the slaw was amazing, and the ribs were excellent. Will definitely come back here again!

Yelp
Came to Four Pegs and was able to just walk in and pick our seats. Started off with an old fashioned smoked and my wife had a mimosa. Our waiter is awesome! Great energy and knows the menu! We both ordered the grippo wings and we had the Mac and greens for our sides. The Old fashioned is strong and good!!! So the food came out and it was Fire!!! The wings were cooked to a crispy perfection and had the smoked flavor along with the grippo taste. The sides were great!!! Didn't have enough room for desert. Overall it's a great restaurant, the vibe was great and I look forward to a return visit. When you come here ask for Charlie he's amazing!

Yelp
I'm a lucky one. I live only a block from Four Pegs so I get to enjoy their phenomenal BBQ quite often. We went for dinner and drinks the other night. Husband has the Pulled Pork which he says is the best in all of Louisville. It must be because it is a heaping sandwich and he didn't leave a shred on the plate. Along with a beer of two and he was set for the night. I tried for the first time the Pork Belly Burnt Ends..and while I kept chastising myself for consuming what was not the healthiest option on the menu, I succumbed and I'm glad I did. They were ecstasy - and I made sure to just have salads the next day. I've had the Jackfruit Bowl in the past - one of two vegetarian entrees and they do a masterful job creating a dish that even carnivores would relish. Oh.....and an extra perk is the dog friendly patio!! If you haven't been here you should go, and if you have been here be sure to frequent again.

Yelp
Recently enjoyed brunch at Four Pegs. I had the Biscuits and Gravy and my boyfriend had the Monte Cristo sandwich. Both came with a healthy portion of potatoes. The biscuits were so good, with smoked cheddar. The gravy was not the traditional milk gravy I was expecting, but still good. I added bacon on the side, always a good choice. Service was great. Our waitress was attentive and checked on us multiple times. My only complaint was that the restrooms were a little dingy as well as the outdoor patio area. Lots of debris out and about and the sidewalk was blocked by their food truck, smoker, and other vehicles. I'll be back, because the portions are hearty and the service was so good. It's clear this is a well-loved neighborhood staple.
google avatar

Bethany O.

Yelp
I'm so full. They are in the middle of some remodeling, so keto that in mind... But if you are a lover of smoked meats, this is a must-visit spot. The grippo wings are famous for a reason. The chili contains more meat than one can eat in a single sitting. Even the greens were smoky and meaty. The beer selection is top notch as well. Four Pegs remains a staple in the city.
google avatar

Marge S.

Yelp
The turkey sandwich & fries was the best dish we ordered. The nachos were disappointing. The chips did not taste "house fried" at all, and the ratio of cheese was way too much for the amount of pulled pork provided. We could barely taste the flavor of the pork because of all the cheese. Also, couldn't find the sour cream on the dish. Maybe it was mixed in with the cheese sauce? Not sure. The cheese curds, however, were tasty. Would go back again for the cheese curds & smoked turkey sandwich, but would caution others not to waste their money on the nachos.

Yelp
We eat here every Wednesday for ayce wings night and lots of times on ayce ribs on Thursday. These smoked jumbo wings are the best ever. We order the chorizo dip every time
google avatar

Melissa W.

Yelp
Highly recommend the smoked bloody Mary. The meat trio was fabulous, as were the collard greems, mac and cheese, and banana pudding. Service was stellar! Would absolutely eat here again when we are back in town.

Robert M.

Yelp
Small. Dark. Do not use the bathroom. Needed to be thoroughly cleaned 3 years ago. The Chef who was delivering orders to dining area, needs a beard net. Outside appearance does not seem anyone cares. Biggest problem for this place is there now so many places nearby with far better food, and much more inviting dining areas.

Stacey S.

Yelp
Wow! We came on all you can eat wing Wednesday. We got the starter jumbo wings and they were the best wings ever!!! Got the Texas Twinkie sausage and it was so delicious. I highly recommend. Sara was the greatest server. So helpful and on the ball. Such a great find.

Yelp
Finally made it to Four Pegs to try some of the delicious wings! This was my first time and it did not disappoint. We went for lunch on a Monday. We were able to find a parking spot along the street next to Four Pegs. We could chose where we wanted to sit. We decided to sit at the bar. Our server was friendly and helpful. We asked for suggestions on an appetizer. Our server suggested the smoked cream cheese and chorizo dip. It was flavorful and the house made chips were great too! We ordered the Smoked Seoul Wings and the Cajun Wings (with extra sauce). The Smoke Seoul were my favorite - slightly sweet with a little kick of spice and topped with pistachios (YUM). The Cajun Wings were great but the Seoul wings are something special. The brunch menu looked really good so I definitely want to go back to try that!

lo

Yelp
Awful service. Filthy interior. Overpriced food. Congratulations Louisville, you've finally "arrived" as a city! Now you too have a mediocre & expensive BBQ joint.

Yelp
Can't live in Louisville without eating at this establishment. Dive like atmosphere with a chill vibe serving out some flavorful food. My husband absolutely loves their wings. Don't contemplate about it, just hop over and experience the deliciousness for yourself.

Yelp
The front host was nice. She let us sit where we wanted. Our waitress was not attentive. We had to ask her for our order of fries 2 different times. Dinner was over before we received the fries. When she gave us the bill she went to the bar and turned her back to us. We sat there with the bill and credit card for a long time. My husband ended up walking the credit card to her. I had the pulled pork nachos. There was sooo much cheese that I could not enjoy the flavor of the smoked pull pork. The cheese even over powered the bbq sauce. I told two people that my nachos they have too much cheese and I got an oooh yea and a I'll tell the cook. The fries were over seasoned with some Cajun rub. Ribs are over priced $3 per rib and they do not have a price for a slab of ribs.

Yelp
Came in with the family while in town and this place was pretty delicious tbh. This place has a very dive vibe which is pretty cozy tbh. Service was nice and he was very kind. Overall would recommend stopping by here for wings and the specials.
google avatar

Michael O.

Yelp
I popped in here the other day with a friend. The wings were incredible. I would say the best dry rub wings in the Lou. The ambiance is exactly what you are looking for in a neighborhood pub. The bartenders are actually nice. Good options on the menu. Great place!

Yelp
What a wonderful afternoon experience! During a recent visit to Germantown, the hubby and I finally had a chance to check out Four Pegs. The outstanding reviews that friends had given me about Four Pegs all rang true! Our visit was after the lunch rush and before the dinner rush on a Saturday afternoon. We were greeted immediately on entering and we took a table in the center of the restaurant. I loved the vibe, an unpretentious, friendly, old-fashioned bar with emphasis on quality food and drinks rather than a kitschy theme. The bar has a beautiful antique wooden piece as a backdrop and although we didn't opt for any beer or spirits this visit, it looked as if they had just about anything that a person could want. The menu is small, as they do a few things and do them WELL. Their signature offerings are their meats- wings, brisket, ribs, barbecue, and chicken. We tried two wing varieties and ribs and OMG, I could have eaten until I got a raging case of the meat sweats!! They were all delicious and some of the best that I have ever eaten. I know that we will be frequent flyers at Four Pegs. I highly recommend that any local folks who haven't tried Four Pegs or anyone who is visiting Louisville drop by, you won't be disappointed. There is no formal parking for the establishment, but local street parking is plentiful and there are no parking meters.
google avatar

Yelp
great neighborhood, great food, great drinks! Germantown is the new Highlands. Four Pegs happy hour deals are unbeatable.

Yelp
We (party of 4) decided to give it another try and I'll add that this re-do was partially prompted by an unsolicited person contacting (confronting) me to give the brick and mortar venue a chance. The power of influence ends there -- I offer only my honest opinion as an average patron. Picked up an order to go and was fairly pleased with the quality and value. We tried a sampler platter of ribs, wings, pulled pork, and sliced brisket. The sides of collard greens and Mac and cheese were okay. The brisket was leaner during this visit and was tender and tasty. If I was in the area again, I would stop in and try the brisket as a repeat order based on as good quality as this visit. We do want to try the venue as a sit down excursion in the future. Otherwise, based on my personal taste preferences for Texas hill country style barbecue and Southern cuisine as experienced in my lifetime coupled with an aversion to smoke subs and generous spice rubs, I will continue my quest for what floats my boat for other items I sampled. Pickup service was efficient and the venue was cozy. Plenty of street parking and conveniently located on a main thoroughfare. Temporary sidewalk construction was in process during my visit, but business is still accessible with a little effort.

Yelp
Truly a gem in Louisville. The food is outstanding. They take wings to a new level. The atmosphere is perfect. I love walking into their building and seeing the bar and just how simple and easy the place makes you feel. The staff is always friendly and they make you feel at home. I know their building has been hit a couple of times by dumb people but their keep bouncing back. They have a product that rocks. I encourage everyone to try their wings and all their food out.

Mary W.

Yelp
Food, service and atmosphere were good. We were in town for the truck show. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Best BarBQue in Louisville! Your tummy will thank you! Fun place! Easy going atmosphere. Just go!

Yelp
So we came in here on a recommendation, and we are so glad we did. We came for lunch right as they opened up so it was empty. Greeted us enthusiastically even though they just unlocked the door. Upon entering it looks like a dive bar, but that is removed from thought by the aroma. We got cocktails to start because we've never been there. They were good and had a lot of drink specials as well as 'shot of the day'. For food we got the bacon chili cheese fries and let me tell you, you gotta try them so much bacony goodness! The fries are amazing by their own! I got the Cuban and it was so good! Lots of pulled pork and a slab of ham with a spicy sauce that really complemented the sandwich. It normally comes with fries but because we got the fries there were options.... I got the fire roasted corn that was fantastic! My wife got the Brisket Melt with the greens as a side. She said the brisket was great and she let me taste her greens and they were exceptionally savory and spicy, perfect! Because it was wings Wednesday we got a few of the dry rubbed wings to share and they were terrific, the dry rub was very flavorful and nicely spiced. I can see why people eat tons of them.

Yelp
I'm so happy that I was finally able to try this restaurant. It's been in my save list for months and the last time I tried to go for dinner they were completely book. The venue is very big, it is a pretty small space. There is no parking lot, parking is in the street. However I did not have a hard time finding a parking spot when I arrived. I looked at the menu beforehand and I new exactly what I wanted. When the waitress arrived o asked for the cocktail menu. They had a seasonal cocktail list available but I didn't see one that interested me so I went with a cosmo. They have a full bar so you can order whatever drink you would like. My friend was there and she ordered fried pickles which you receive a nice size portion. The fried pickles had a little kick to them. They were good but they had a kick. We both ordered the smoked wings and a side salad. I added red onions and removed the cheese from my salad. The service didn't take long, we received our food pretty quickly. The wings were very good. They had a sweet spice that I am still trying to figure out what it is. I definitely will be going back ( prob to go) to try the grippo wings and jerk wings.

Yelp
I love a good and consistent Black-owned business. The food is always delicious and available, I've never been told that they're out of an item. The wings and ribs are . The collards and mac,. With outstanding service and good music, the ambiance is also ! Just go. They don't know me by name but tell em Dre sent ya!

Yelp
Great service & even better food! Stopped in around 9pm for a late dinner & drinks, was seated immediately & brought waters. The water upon seating is delightful for these hot days! Our server was Tiffany & she was the sweetest and most helpful! She made sure we were taken care of. I asked about a cocktail menu & since there wasn't one she made me something based off my likes (tequila & fruity). The end result was a drink that was light and refreshing, reminding me of an angel food cake with fruit on top. Was very thankful for Tiffany! We ordered the brisket sandwich & the BASH wings. Both were insanely delicious, the sauces really make this food unique and add the extra touch. The fries were thin and on the crunchier side, which I liked. I really enjoyed the strawberry, habanero, and bourbon combo on the wings. The sweet & spicy paired perfectly. Overall it was a good price for amazing food & service!

Yelp
This place js small and gets packed, so try to get a reservation if you can. The servers were all very friendly and attentive. It was our first time going and we heard the wings were good so we tried the grippo wings. They were good but they had a ton of the seasoning on them so next time we'll try a different wing. I had the pulled pork sandwich and it was super messy but good. It had coleslaw on it and a decent amount of pork. The fries were meh, they were kind of thick and not very crispy. The real star though was the pretzel and beer cheese. Holy shit is that cheese good. We dipped the fries in the cheese too and it was 10/10. Great little bbq spot, and they even have brunch with a decent sized menu.
google avatar

Mark M.

Yelp
Had heard a lot of good things about the bbq and wings so decided to try them. The pretzel and beer cheese were great, the brisket was pretty good, but was not impressed with the Bash wings or the pulled pork. They could not severe draft beers and had to cook food out of the food truck because of kitchen issues. This may have explained some. Not sure if we will return.
google avatar

Kimberly T.

Yelp
The bartenders are always pleasant and serve the best drinks. I love their brisket sandwich. The seasoning is so good. Mac n cheese is creamy. You can buy the ribs by the bone which is unheard of at other restaurants. Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Four Pegs, located in Germantown, was our choice for lunch and we learned they were offering their brunch menu (only). We found a happy compromise to share their classic breakfast with eggs, bacon, home fries, toast and gravy. We also got the brisket melt with fries and a side of sausage. I enjoyed most of the breakfast, excluding the eggs which had been cooked in grease and a lot of pepper. The home fries were surprisingly good - so many spots over season them or cook them with peppers or onions, while these were crispy squares of delicious potatoes. The brisket melt reminded me of a grown up Arby's beef and cheddar. Very filling. The star of the show? The fries. They were sprinkled with the same dry rub as their meats. Next time I'll remember to order my own order! Four Pegs is known for their wings, brisket and other meats. We saw several takeout orders. The restaurant has indoor seating and it's fairly crowded when the seats are filled. Bar seats, high tops, low tops and a couple of booths. I'd be leery to come here with a group bigger than 4. Restroom in the back for all. Street parking available, no meters to feed.
google avatar

Jeffrey G.

Yelp
Delicious food at Four Pegs!! Gabby gave us great service constantly filling our drinks and reordering my jumbo smoked wings!! I got the AYCE jumbo smoked wings on Wings Wednesday!! I was able to throw down 20 wing pieces!! My wife ordered the brisket sandwich, which was amazing!! I order bleu cheese and it is great with a hint of dill. My wife said the ranch also had dill. So I got one of my orders with ranch too. BBQ sauce comes standard with each order!! It's a quaint neighborhood establishment with some craft beers as well!! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
We had a group of 8 people for a birthday party. I was excited to try this place after all the reviews I had seen on Facebook. I was very disappointed in the food to say the least. It is very dark and small inside. The food was ok. For the price it could have been a lot better. I got the fish and chips and the batter on my gosh was not fried all the way. And there was double the amount of batter there was fish. I ended up peeling the batter off. The chips were ok. Most of the seasoning was on the bottom. The chili cheese fries were delicious. Probably the best thing we had all night. The BBQ jackfruit fritters were so hot you couldn't taste anything. Service was the worse! We arrived at 4pm on a Saturday. There were only 3 of us for about 10 minutes. It took 10-15 minutes to get drinks. And anytime we needed anything we had to flag down our waitress because she rarely checked up on us. And our entrees took 20 minutes. Not at all what I was hoping for and I have zero plans to go back.
google avatar

Pat A.

Yelp
Smaller place, waitress was nice enough but didn't check in very often. I ordered the smoked turkey club which was a single 1/2 inch slice of deli turkey that had been thrown in a smoker, not very good at all.

Yelp
this place is diverse bur food us just ok its not memorable. this is my second time and i'm just not impressed i only come when invited i would not come on my own. now with that being said i can drink the homemade ranch dressing and blue cheese that s$%@ is good as hell. lol

Great service, great food. Had the wings and PBR special and the Baby Back Ribs- very meaty, a bit too much sauce for me but still good. Wings were terrific! Server Sara was super! Will come again when we are in the area.

Yelp
We were in town and wanted some local flavor. This was the place for it. Parking can be challenging since this is located in a neighborhood, but it's worth the effort. The food was great. I had wings, and they were perfect. Drinks were poured well, live music. and great service. I will be back.

Yelp
Food was amazing and plentiful. The collards were exceptionally seasoned and good. The brisket was moist and flavorful. My only regret was I ate too much and was too stuffed to try the banana pudding.

Yelp
How the mighty has fallen. I've been to Four Pegs several times and am finally writing a review. We came here on a Friday night for a birthday celebration. Intelligently made a reservation. We still had a wait which was fine because there was a line out the door. However it was the first sign of a lackluster experience. We were seated in the upstairs area which was actually perfect. It was quieter and we could concentrate on conversation. Menus were online which is unfortunate. It is difficult to compare items when you are scrolling through pages. We ordered our first round of drinks and appetizers and then waited. And waited. I believe they are super understaffed and still seating to capacity which causes long wait times. We quickly realized this and ordered entrees and 2 rounds of drinks. The appetizers (wings) were mid. I would choose something else next time. When the entrees finally arrived, they were pretty cold. Just tasted like they were sitting, not under a heat lamp. It was disappointing because it changed the entire dining experience for the worse. At its best, Four Pegs is really good and I would recommend it. Based on my recent experience, I will not be back for awhile and will not recommend.

Yelp
We met for lunch and wanted to try out new restaurant and wanted bbq. So yelp put in the area and it came up with four pegs. When we were arrived, the place was pretty empty, which wasn't a good sign, but it was also gloopy weather outside. We were nicely greeted with a friendly server and gave us some advice and took our orders. The food was very tasty. The advice was accurate. The food was fresh, tender and very filling. Would highly recommend. This was at lunchtime and it appears to be a pub so I suspect evenings are much busier.

Yelp
Such a cool place. The smoked Bloody Mary was an excellent drink/starter. I had the hangover scramble which was delicious and my son had the monte christo which he loved.

Yelp
I am so upset! I looked up the menu and reviews so I was excited to try! My husband and colleagues went for lunch and got multiple items from menu and none was pleased! I'm not sure if the cooks on The Weekend are better but this was horrible! My husband knew I wouldn't like it so he asked for a side of gripping seasoning so it would taste like something and when I tell you it was still horrible! No flavor no nothing! So disappointed!
