The gin tasting experience at Four Pillars is on the pricier side, but the presenter was knowledgeable, young, and cheerful, making it an enjoyable session. Please note that these are my personal tasting notes—keep an open mind when you visit!
• Rare Dry Gin – A solid choice, especially in a gin and tonic—it was smooth and refreshing.
• Navy Strength Gin – Surprisingly, I enjoyed this one more when tasting it straight; it had a bold and balanced profile.
• Fresh Yuzu Gin – It was good, but as someone familiar with yuzu, I don’t quite buy into the hype that the food industry gives it, as if it’s some rare exotic fruit.
• Croissant Gin (LUNES collaboration) – Yes, I could taste the buttery richness, but I wouldn’t necessarily relate it to an actual croissant.
• Bloody Shiraz Gin – This one was great—fruity, deep, and well-balanced.
Overall, it was a fun experience, and the setting was lively. If you’re a gin lover, it’s worth checking out!
