Stayed here Fri-Sun for London Blizzard para-hockey tournament. First impression was terrible (see photo) and illegal- two of the main accessible parking spaces occupied by dumpsters. Totally unacceptable, especially since multiple teams were staying on site. As a recommended hotel for this para-hockey event, you would think that they would be prepared to support children and youth with disabilities. Our block of rooms were nowhere near the lobby, resulting in unnecessary (and lengthy) travel for kids in wheelchairs, those using canes, walkers, etc. Not only was the walk to building C significant, pathways at the side entry doors were unmaintaned and icy. Totally unsafe for all guests, but particularly for kids with physical disabilities. The pool water was green throughout our stay.
We paid over $450 for two nights for a spacious and accessible room that had no hot water over the two days (we had multiple showers), a TV with no HD channels (not a deal breaker but surprising for a Marriott hotel), a hand lotion container that was near empty on arrival, and a dirty contact lens (not ours) on the carpet. These factors in addition to the lack of accessible parking and unsafe outdoor walkways made this a terrible experience. What a waste of $460. We will never stay here again and I wouldn't recommended that anyone else stay here either. Would give zero stars if I could.
