7 Michelin-Recommended Contemporary Korean Restaurants In Seoul

"Twenty-Four Seasons is a Korean restaurant located in Shinsa-dong, with several additional branches in Seoul. The name of the restaurant refers to the 24 solar terms in the traditional East Asian lunisolar calendar used by agrarian societies to stay synchronized with the seasons. As the name implies, the restaurant highlights the seasonality of authentic Korean cuisine, but adds a contemporary touch when it comes to presentation. Clean modern décor with private rooms." - Yerica Park

2025/07/28 for one night. Recommend/would stay again. Nice room, A/C powerful, shower is a soothing rainmaker, two robes and slippers. Room designed with high ceiling, wood floor, felt roomy and cool. Bed and pillows just fine. 3rd floor breakfast = outstanding, variety of food cultures, Euro, Asian, hot and cold offerings, nice coffee machines, juices, polite and efficient attendants, bright room. Pop music, would be more soothing in the morning with some Korean instrumental folk music. No big lobby scene, reception desk on ground floor entrance. Bar/lounge next to reception (did not use). Did not use fitness center, can't review it. I will book again, and recommend, in Gangnam.

Spent 4 nights in the hotel for a cycling holiday. I chose this hotel as it was a short ride to the cycling paths on the Hangang River (Han River). The hotel is about 500 meters (10 minutes’ walk) from the nearest subway station, which was a very long walk if the weather is cold and wet. Fortunately, Uber was cheap but be prepared to be stuck in traffic. I managed to get my room even though I checked-in in the morning. On the plus side, they allowed me to keep my bicycle in my bedroom. The room felt small due to super King bed which took up much of the space. My room looked into the main street. Internet was very fast, which was expected in Korea. Hot water from the showers and cold AC. The room lacked drawers / cupboards for storing and hanging clothes. Beds were comfy. As a Platinum benefit, I was given 2 cans of beer and 2 coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and offered a choice of points or breakfast. I chose the latter which comprised a mix of Korean and Western items (the Korean offering was very nice). There is very small basic gym with no windows. The Airport Limo Bus stops outside the hotel. I would stay here again.

Some places offer comfort, others deliver great service—but this stay gave us something rarer: a sense of being cared for. From the moment we arrived, every interaction felt sincere. The front desk staff didn’t just check us in—they welcomed us. The room itself was a sanctuary: spotless, calm, and filled with thoughtful touches that whispered, “You matter.” It wasn’t luxury in the conventional sense. It was something deeper—a feeling that lingered long after checkout. A reminder that the best trips don’t always take you far; they bring you closer to what truly matters.

As a group of guests who booked over 20 rooms — a sizeable and respectful group who expected service standards worthy of the Four Points brand — we are deeply disappointed by the unacceptable behavior and lack of service mind demonstrated by your front desk staff. We entrusted the hotel with our luggage, only to be repeatedly told that there were no bags left or that someone had already taken them — when in fact our bags were later found exactly where they were supposed to be, in the luggage storage room. Even more concerning was the staff’s dismissive attitude and unwillingness to assist or take any responsibility for resolving the situation. Such poor handling and lack of basic courtesy are absolutely unworthy of an international hotel brand that should uphold genuine hospitality and professionalism at all times. This experience left us feeling disregarded and unwelcome, despite being guests who were polite, cooperative, and placed full trust in your property. We expect a clear explanation and immediate improvement in your staff’s service attitude to ensure that no other guests have to experience this level of frustration and disrespect in the future.

Ok location. Nice room and very clean. Toilet is tiny. Good, well-equipped gym. Elevators are slow which is specifically noticeable during rush hours. Friendly service.

Very good hotel|The room is very small but the view is good, it is so small that there is no closet in the room. |The bed is very comfy and clean. |Stuff are extremely nice, I used them few times and the service was very good. |Breakfast is very good, lots to choose from. very fresh and high quality. |The location is not far the best, most of the interesting things to do are in the other side of the river.

The room is really small and has a weird layout. As soon as you open the door, there’s a sink, and right across from it are separate rooms for the toilet and shower. There’s no proper place to hang your clothes. Once you put down your suitcase, the room feels completely cramped. It’s also noisy since it's right by a main road. The subway station is a bit of a walk, but there’s a bus stop nearby, so that helps. There’s a convenience store behind the hotel and a decent number of restaurants around. The staff were friendly and very responsive, which was a big plus. The restaurant was a bit on the pricey side, but the food was delicious.

Anybody coming to the area for surgery should think twice about staying here. My wife came for surgery and a two week recovery period. She was confined to our room for several days and the only option for food was a severely limited menu or the buffet which the food could not be taken to the room. As icing on the cake once she was able to go out to get a decent meal we tried to order a couple of pieces of pecan pie which is advertised as their specialty in the lobby and elevators but was told we have to order a piece of pie a day in advance.
