Yelp
If you are in a pinch for dinner four seasons is a great option in the Wells Branch area. I ordered takeout through them and got the four seasons delight. Which you get beef, chicken, shrimp, and crab meat. You get a lot of food! This can be easily shared between two people. The service was friendly and fast and the food came out hot and delicious. This will definitely be a spot I will be visiting often when I'm in a pinch.

Yelp
Placed an online delivery order. Sometime during their 30min-hour prep and delivery window they turned off delivery and carry-out. The webpage updated to "order placed outside of restaurant's business hours". They're clearly marked as Open elsewhere online. Their hours for Wednesday show 11AM - 9:15PM. Order was placed at 3:13PM. Called several times @4:15PM. No one is answering the phone. I let it ring until a recording came on asking for a passcode. They took my money. Is this place now a scam front?

Yelp
Have tried a bunch of dishes from here and none of them disappoint, but I would both kill and die for their walnut chicken.

Ashley M.

Yelp
Came back because I was craving egg drop soup; want to try the hot and sour since I've never had it and their egg drop is on point...IM A FAN! I don't know what to compare it to but it's something that I'd definitely get again. I might give another dish besides the soups another chance.

Yelp
Worst Chinese food I ever had. Ordered honey walnut shrimp and it was nastily overfried small shrimp with the tails still on and a side of mayonnaise like topping that was solid that I guess I was supposed to smother the shrimp with. Absolutely disgusting. Ate two bites and didn't eat anything else. This is a dish I order often at some other Chinese places and it's always delicious. Was by far the worst Chinese I ever ordered. Also the won ton soup was terrible and small and the bbq spareribs were more like something from a bbq restaurant instead of Chinese spare ribs. I'm hoping I don't get sick later. I feel completely taken from this order and wasted a lot of money on crappy food.

Yelp
Warning! They are serving the dine in food in plastic takeout containers. They give you styrofoam plates to eat off of. And plastic silverware and drinks in small styrofoam cups. We asked for a serving spoon to move the food to the plate..... and we got a small plastic teaspoon! I assume they are trying to be COVID safe, but this was ridiculous. Not a single condiment on the tables. We had to ask for everything. The lady who served us was strictly business and no personality. The food was good and therefore I am giving them two stars. But the rest of the dining experience was awful. Not returning.

Yelp
We have been going to Four Seasons for over 25 years. The original owners recently sold the restaurant but the new owners kept the same name, menu, and recipes. But unfortunately, it doesn't taste the same like before. And their customer service has greatly declined. We have decided to move on from Four Seasons. All good things come to an end. :-(

Yelp
Great food and great service. I tried so many different dishes I don't even remember it all but everything was great. The flavors will def bring me back. Owners were great! They treated us like family and we were a pretty big group! Def go check this place out if you're looking for some authentic cuisine!!! A true gem hidden in Pflugerville!

Yelp
I live right down the street and ordered as I got in my truck... when I got there my food was already packaged and ready (probably not cooked on the spot when I ordered). My biggest complaint was the shrimp fried rice, and considering this is a Chinese restaurant; it's kind of sad that their rice was not very good (Dry). you can tell there was no love put into any of this meal. I consider myself to be a connoisseur of steamed dumplings, (safe to say these dumplings were depressing) not only were these dumplings super tiny, there was only 6. I would have ordered more dumplings if I had known this. The beef and broccoli was overall the best thing in my To-Go sack, aside that they had huge chunks of what seem to be raw carrots in there. Overall I thought this was a pretty poor experience, I will definitely not be going back there to spend over $30 on poor quality Chinese food.

Yelp
Excellent food!! We moved to a town close to Austin that doesn't have a decent Chinese restaurant. I did a search to find a place that was on my route heading back home after work and decided to try Four Seasons. So glad I did!!...excellent food!! We have ordered from them about 3 times now and every - single - time we sit to have dinner, their food is hot, tasty, and delicious! I've ordered different items on their menu when we've placed orders to try different dishes and all of them have been on par. The seasonings and attention to prepping and packing their food is top notch. I am SO glad I found this hidden gem and am now a big fan! My compliments to the owners and the chefs! (Items ordered: Vegetable Egg Foo Yang, chicken w/sizzling rice, chicken w/hot garlic sauce, spare ribs, beef sticks, egg rolls)

Yelp
Haven't eaten here for awhile...no reason. Today I ordered dishes for delivery. They were here quickly, handled by a very polite man, and good sized portions as they were in the past. The dishes were very delicious and very much as good as they were in the previous management. I'm so glad this wonderful restaurant is in the neighborhood. Thanks.

Yelp
I am not often in this area but today I had a doctor appointment and realized I was running out of gas so the gas station I chose happened to be in a strip mall 1.2 miles from my doc. This restaurant also resides in this corner strip mall. Signs indicating the restaurant was open were lit and when I pulled up into the parking area I could see that masks were required to enter and that they also were selling masks 10 for $13. I had not seen this at a restaurant before. I got on the website and determined I would place a take-out order. After reviewing the menu which has a broad variety of lunch specials, I chose the Kung pow shrimp. There was a checkbox where you could indicate whether you wanted low, moderate or high heat applied to your dish. I chose moderate. I went ahead and walked in all masked up about five minutes after I placed the order, and sure enough it was ready and waiting for me. I was pleasantly surprised to find that although my credit card hadn't worked properly they went ahead and made my dish and then just asked for my card when I got there. I thought that was pretty generous all things considered. I was hungry -so as I started the drive home I pulled my fortune cookie out and quickly munched on that. ***I appreciated that my fortune said that "Your enthusiasm towards work will soon pay off" as I am really wanting to go back to some kind of work (preferably Hospice) and have started making inquiries. Next, as I was feeling around in my bag wondering if I could manage my soup while driving -when I felt a small object -roller shaped, So, I pulled it out and sure enough there was my egg roll wrapped in a little wax paper bag. The greatest thing ever!!!!!! is that it was not put in with my main dish because even in the wax paper I know it would have wilted!!!!!!. Because they placed it separately when I removed it from the bag it was super crisp and still piping hot. It was a vegetable eggroll in the thin style eggroll wrap -which is my preference. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I got stuck behind a wreck that had just occurred and after determining everyone was OK went ahead and moved on before the police arrived and stopped all traffic. At that point I decided I was going to go to a park and stay in my car under a tree in the shade and eat my lunch. Sadly, they are still using Styrofoam boxes for takeout, however I know many, many restaurants are. When I open the container there was a very large portion of the Kung-Pao Shrimp that filled the entire large section of the container to overflowing and a nice big serving of fried rice in one of the other container sections. There was some sweet-and-sour sauce in a small container-sitting in the third little section and I went ahead and remove the three hot peppers that were on top of my prepared dish and dove in. The fried rice was a little atypical in that there was only a pea scattered very infrequently. Now, I am aware that some people are really adverse to veggies and wouldn't even like the small quantity found normally in fried rice so I can't say that this is necessarily a bad thing other than I do like veggies and so I missed it a little bit. My Kung Pao Shrimp made up for it! There was lots of chunky water chestnut, celery, green pepper, and red pepper interspersed amongst the shrimp, the brown sauce, and the peanuts. I'm not sure how many ounces of shrimp but I can tell you there were 5 nice plump large or ? Extra large shrimp. This was more than adequate for a lunch portion. Speaking of the lunch, their combo includes the main entrée, an eggroll, white, brown or fried rice, and either egg drop wonton soup. This meal was easily hearty enough for two adults. This lunch was a solid Four Stars for me! Support your local restaurants during this tough period!!!! If at all possible depending on your circumstances, please tip

Yelp
First time in since they changed owners. Same great food, portion size, and friendly attentive staff. We always get one order of Kun Pao Chicken and one order of Moo Goo Gai Pan, both with steam rice and hot and sour soup. Love all the fresh vegetables in the dishes. Some local competitors don't add vegetables! Restaurant is clean and updated interior. Pleasant place to eat. Been coming here for 20+ years and glad nothing is changing! Keep it up!

LaPeshaa C.

Yelp
Darn good egg drop soup, good rice, good but greasy lomein, and big servings. The general tso has a good flavor but the last 2 times I got it it was weird. The breading wasn't cooked all the way, the flour/starch was raw and sticky on several pieces. Maybe the coating was too thick? The crab puffs are good but usually over fried. Delivery is quick and orders are correct.

Gregory T.

Yelp
I have become a regular at Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant, and find the staff friendly and efficient. My personal favorites are the spicy chicken and pork dishes, and I will always order a few extra egg rolls to snack on later! I strongly recommend Four Seasons Chinese Restaurant!

Roy F.

Yelp
Server (on 12/23/2021 around) was rude to my wife when she went to pick up an online order. My wife gave her the wrong phone number (my wife's number instead of mine). When that didn't work, she gave her the name and content of the order, but the server wasn't happy with that. My wife eventually gave her the correct phone number, at which time the server "tossed" the order down and walked off. When my wife got home, she announced we will never use them again, and I support that decision.

Cindy B.

Yelp
I have ordered from here for years. I've noticed that it is not as good as it used to be. in the last week I've ordered twice. one time the wrong food was delivered. the other time my food was not delivered at all. I had to call and argue to have it delivered. this seems to be the way things are at this restaurant now.very sad.

Chance C.

Yelp
If I could give less I would. Absolutely rude staff. Ordered for pickup since it's super close. Food is absolutely disgusting. Didn't even finish it. Missing items on order and when asked they yelled at me in front of guest. Disgusting restaurant. Wouldn't be surprised if there's health code violations. Gross place don't order.

Anya C.

Yelp
Four Seasons is amazing. They have excellent covid safety practices. Kind courteous service. Allergy friendly. Delicious food. I highly recommend calling and placing an order for delivery or takeout instead of ordering online.

Mark D.

Yelp
I've been a loyal customer for years and I have always appreciated their rendition of Chinese/American good. However, either a change in ownership or a lack of pride has tainted this restaurant. The Kung Pao triple was flavorful and I like it when restaurants vary with their dishes, but emptying your refrigerator and adding large chunks of bell pepper changed the whole dish. Historically, the vegetable to meat ratio was good, but their version of triple means three pieces of meat per item. Basically, they want you to get in touch with your "vegetable" side. Finally, I hope they were just having an "off" night because I like neighborhood establishments, but more nights like this will not be good for business!

Kimberly R.

Yelp
I was so hungry, lots of places closed due to a recent tornado in town and loss of power. Four seasons was open and the man was kind and very helpful, the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend anyone with a Chinese food craving!

Viti B.

Yelp
This place sucks. Me and my mans were super hungry so we made the walk to eat here. Gross. Don't recommend at all. The sweet and sour chicken had lots of oil and flakes at the bottom. The noodles were so oily and nasty. I don't know how it's still in business but yuck. Just save your money and buy frozen Chinese food at Trader Joe's.

Makayla T.

Yelp
TALK ABOUT A HIDDEN GEM!!!! The sesame chicken *chefs kiss* you know how good the food gotta be for you to lick yo fingers after eating with a fork the whole time?!? lmaooo. I now have a dependable, consistent, & convenient Chinese restaurant... maybe you will to.

Crystal L.

Yelp
Solid lunch specials for Chinese here. Their prices are in the $7 price range which is great for a cup of soup, egg roll, rice and entree. They stay busy with the lunch rush but don't let that deter you, they get the food out ASAP! I was really happy with the services the past few times I went. First time, place was packed, sat me down with a glass of water and asked me what soup I wanted while I looked over what I wanted to order. Put in my order and then soup came out for me to eat while my cook was getting cooked. Water glass kept getting topped off, once you're done, the check is placed on the table. You get up, pay at the counter and head out. Straightforward and friendly people working here. I saw several folks that looked like they have been here many many times as they conversed with the owners and chef about their Thanksgiving holiday plans which was friendly to see. Also saw their son helping out clearing tables, so polite! Stop by if you're ever in Wells Branch proximity, craving Chinese or not ready to spend money at a Garbo's price point if starving. I'm going to lay down from my good food coma now.

Nikkii T.

Yelp
this was my first time trying this restaurant (drove all the way from del valle) just to be disappointed. the food and customer service was just horrible overall. definitely wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody. i ordered 2 things of sesame chicken to-go and when i got home to eat my food i was very unsatisfied with the texture and taste. food was bland and had chunks of meat stuck together and parts of the food were cold which was concerning so i took only 2 bites. came back the next day to report it so i can get a refund and the manager was very unprofessional repeating "do me a favor and please don't ever come back".

Terry P.

Yelp
Unfortunately, the owner who answers the phone and takes the to-go orders is very resistant to special requests. I asked/described 3 times on my phone-in lunch order to please package the rice separately from the entree, and she kept insisting that they don't do it that way. Really? Is making a customer happy with a small request that huge of a problem? Not to mention the fact that I drove there in icy/slippery conditions right before the city shut down. Then, it was a good thing I checked my bag after sliding to my car since they forgot to put an extra soup (that I paid for) in there, so I then had to fumble back inside to ask for it. Oh, and yes, they are still using those horrible styrofoam containers. After all this, I'll also have to say that the flavor of the Kung Pao Beef was mediocre, though the beef was tender and I liked the veggies that they add to their version. I had to doctor it with soy to bring it up to par. My Sesame Chicken was made with dark meat, which is fine with me, but it was over-fried, stringy, and tough, with no extra sauce to help it out. Sooo glad I drove 15mph on ice and paid money to get THAT stuff. NOT. The soups were pretty good and needed no further "doctoring." Unless I'm desperate for Chinese food and this is the only Chinese place open, as it was on this particular day, I'll be frequenting other establishments that are invested in creating return customers by meeting their reasonable requests and rewarding their business with good food and service.

Luis S.

Yelp
I've going to this place for years. Every week I'll go with my family to enjoy some good Chinese food. This place has amazing soup and lo mein. However, today I was especially disappointed. I ordered my lo mein and I discovered a roach in my food. I looked down at my plate and didn't know what to do. My mother noticed I stopped eating and asked what was wrong. I then proceed to take the roach out with my fork. My appetite was gone. I ate half my plate and discovered the roach in my food. My parents couldn't stomach eating their food anymore. Our lunch was ruined. Our experience ruined. We felt bad. We didn't make a scene and quietly notified our waiter. He was extremely embarrassed and apologized profusely. He asked told the manager. The manager just gave my meal for free. Which I think is nice, but our entire experience was ruined. Our possible returning to this restaurant is up in the air because of what happened to my family. I believe our entire meal should have been free. We are patrons here and disappointed how management handled it. Again we've been here many years and bring in friends and family that also enjoy the food. Many of my friends return to this place. Long story short, there was a roach in my food. I took a picture of it. Management should've given our meals for free. What happened to us shouldn't happen to anyone else

Evelyn P.

Yelp
I have lived in Wells Branch for 26 years and have been going to and ordering from Four Seasons just as long. I obviously was very happy with it. Yesterday I ordered $130.00 worth of food and the only good thing about it was, it was ready on time. I kept saying it just didn't taste right or the same as usual. I'm not sure if it's under new management or just cutting corners. The portion sizes on everything from soup to noodles and entrees were considerably smaller. Plus you had to search for the meat in any of the entrees. Besides a cup of tea it was the only thing I had eaten all day and to top it off I was up sick all night. I am vary annoyed and extremely disappointed. I think after all this time ineed to find somewhere new for Chinese food.

Mark M.

Yelp
This is closer to a 4.5 review than a 4 review. Went for lunch on 2/28/18. This restaurant is on the opposite side of town but thankfully I was able to give it a try. The place does a great business and had lots of traffic coming in to get orders to go. That is always a good sign but I must say the service was a little slower than I would like to see. When I am eating lunch alone I really like quick service so I can get in and out fast. The menu has several lunch options but I did not see the Mongolian Beef that I like to try at new Chinese places. I asked about it and the server said they will make it for me. Confuses says if you don't see it ask. The food was fresh and very tasty. It is the best Chinese I have found in the area since I moved to Texas 8 months ago. I think it is worth the drive to give them more of my lunch business.

Patrick D.

Yelp
Love Four Seasons! Super neighborhood restaurant. I get delivery quite often. Drivers always covid safe and courteous to your needs. I'm a regular for the Shrimp Egg Fu Young. Best I've had in this area. The lettuce wrap appetizer is a must along with Shrimp fried rice. Large portions and sauces very consistently delicious. I enjoyed all that plus a Sweet and Sour chicken last night for my neighbor. Dishes come with choices of rice but I get the white and split an order of chicken or shrimp fried rice.

Kathy G.

Yelp
Yummy, I am in Austin for a training and staying in a hotel. I looked on yelp for Chinese delivery and yum.. I got the 4 seasons fried rice and egg roll and it is delicious. Ordering was very easy , delivery was fast , it said 45 minutes and they were here in about 25 minutes. Delivery person was polite and even offered to go back to restaurant and bring me more soy sauce if I wanted. I did not make him , and actually did not need it because the flavor was amazing. Also if ordering for one you will have a lot of leftovers the portion size is huge.

Vivian L.

Yelp
We ordered delivery on a Saturday night; delivery took about 30 minutes, which was within the estimate provided on their website. Not super speedy, but nothing to complain about. I'm reviewing the mapotofu specifically. For anyone who doesn't know, mapotofu is a spicy tofu dish originating from the Sichuan province. The spice of the Sichuan peppercorn provides a taste called "ma la" ("tingling hot"), which is rather unique. Unfortunately, Sichuan peppercorns are also more expensive than plain old peppercorns you can buy wholesale, so many places actually don't use it. The mapotofu at Four Seasons actually wasn't too bad, although I don't believe they use the peppercorn. (As a general rule of thumb - the redder the sauce, the more "authentic" the dish. Many restaurants in Texas make their sauce brown, which means it's got stock fillers in it). Regardless, the dish was still spicy enough to quell my cravings. The tofu was silky (as is required for the dish). And DAMN, the portions are huge! The below photo was AFTER I spooned out half of the portion into a separate bowl. The container was almost overflowing with food when we got it. Definitely going to be able to get 2 meals out of this. One thing though - at Four Seasons, the mapotofu is supposed to include pork, but there was actually very minimal pork. Personally, this is a plus for me (I like tofu WAY more than I like meat), but might be a minus for others. The rice is also cooked well. Not too mushy, not too dry. Although it's not the authentic style, it still tastes pretty good, and you get a great portion for the price ($8.95 for my dinner dish). Boyfriend ordered the sweet & sour chicken and the chicken was cooked to an excellent level of crispiness :)

Angel P.

Yelp
Great food! My husband and I eat here all the time! It's worth driving from Del Valle

Jailyn B.

Yelp
Don't waste your time....I got fried rice. It was basically steamed brown rice with shrimp in it. Zero flavor. My bf got general chicken and it was dry and tasteless as well. Felt like I wasted my money. Will not be going back.

Martha S.

Yelp
Great food! Always fresh and tasty even while being delivered from 3rd party. No particular favorite....always consistent.

Ben S.

Yelp
I ordered takeout via UberEats yesterday. I was having a stay in day. It was literally all I ate that day (lunch, reheated for dinner). Today I wake up, puking, with a lot of other distasteful symptoms I hate review bombing somewhere I've been twice, but something was off about the food. The fried rice (maybe?) had bad eggs in it, and it had an odd taste to it. The beef was warm, but I chalked that up to the 15 minute drive from the FourSeasons to my apartment. I went to the doctor; they gave me nausea medicine and tested for the flu. Negative. I won't be ordering takeout from here again.

Jenn K.

Yelp
I called beforehand and asked for "chinese broccoli" and four seasons told me okay. I brought my meal home and was shocked to find that it wasn't chinese broccoli..it was just normal american broccoli. So I called four seasons and asked whatsup with my order and they told me their restaurant is catered towards americans so they dont carry "chinese" broccoli, only "normal broccoli". I was upset that I had to finish off this normal broccoli covered in oyster sauce...which I could've easily made. I don't understand why they didn't tell me it was normal broccoli and they dont have chinese broccli when I called. welp, I most definitely will not be putting any orders with them anymore. Dinho will continue to be my go-to chinese restaurant, not this fake-broccoli-lying-not-really-authentic-chinese-restaurant.

Victoria F.

Yelp
I got the General Tso's chicken and fried rice, and it was absolutely gross. It was lukewarm, and you can tell that the chicken hadn't been fried recently, as the breading was soggy and slipping off of the chicken. Considering I had been looking forward to Chinese food for a few days, this was more than disappointing. The rice was bland and nothing to really write home about as well, so this was a waste of $20 since it was brought here by Uber Eats. Egg roll was lit though.

Kevin M.

Yelp
It was about 42 for 3 meals which I guess was okay, but the food was dry, old and had no flavor. Waste of money

Erik P.

Yelp
I've been here a couple of times before but havent written a review, so I figure now would be as good a time as ever. Today I wanted something different and decided to order the "Beef with Hot Garlic Sauce." Good choice, as it was pretty tasty and left me super full. I liked that it had cabbage and scallions, which added to the taste. While I would order it again, it's not a "go-to" selection , as I would definitely try something else in order to solidify that top spot. But it was good either way. My main gripe is that they don't have your typical fried chicken wings and similar novelties ( As far as I saw) However, the service was good and something tells me this wont be my last visit.

Kat L.

Yelp
This is our local neighborhood Chinese restaurant. We have never been inside. we always get it delivered. Tonight we decide to dine in and it was the right choice. The food is delicious and the service is very friendly. The restaurant is very clean and the menu has a lot of choices. From now on we will be dining in. The delivery is good and fast but the food was much better eating it at their table. We learned they have been family owned since 1988 and in business at this location since 2005. Eat local friends and neighbors!

Gus K.

Yelp
We've been going to this family owned neighborhood restaurant for over 25 years; our kids and their kids all love the food and the atmosphere. Owners Tracy and Jack and John the waiter are all so very attentive and helpful. My wife and I go by ourselves, with kids/grandkids and we often have business or community meetings there and everyone is always satisfied. The food is wonderful, freshly made and very tasty. My favorites include Mu Shu Pork, Mongolian Beef, Pork with Hot Garlic Sauce and Four Seasons Chicken which I'm having tonight. If you are in the mood for great Chinese food, order online for fast delivery or dine in for an enjoyable family atmosphere experience.

Castel S.

Yelp
The vegetarian options for lunch are pretty slim. The soups are not made with veggie stock so I couldn't tell you if they were tasty. The staff was pretty friendly but since I wasn't a regular, I didn't receive the warm small talk that everyone else. The egg roll was quite tasty, I could have eaten 10 of those! They were vegetarian friendly! The actual meal itself was ok, nothing out of the normal. The broccoli had a slightly bitter taste but overall it was an ok place to have lunch.

sara j.

Yelp
Love this place! I've been going to this place for years. Very attentive staff and delicious food. Fast delivery too!

Amberlen H.

Yelp
I have been coming here for 7 plus years and I have always loved their food. Tonight I ordered sesame chicken and orange chicken for pick up. Orange chicken tonight was disgusting over cooked and soggy!!! Sesame perfectly fine. So I called the restaurant to advise them their response was that I waited too tong to pick up. Complete B.S! I came within the time frame they gave me. They offered a 3 dollar credit. Disgusting!!!

Johana C.

Yelp
We eat here about twice a month. Great portions and great taste everytime. I've never dined in but when we order take out food is ready fast

Crista B.

Yelp
I've been coming here since I was in third grade across the street. I'm now a senior in college and I still love this place! Every meal has always been delicious, customer service has always been great and of course the prices are great too! I definitely recommend!

Rhonda S.

Yelp
I ordered from four season via door dash who was ok but the food I ordered was terrible. Crab Rangoon or crab puffs nearly made me throw up they were so bad. Burnt, greasy and filling tasted like lard or old vegetable shortening. No flavor at all. The vegetable Lo mein should have been called broccoli lo mein because that was basically all that was in it. No sauce over noodles just dry semi warm noodles. It cost me 25.00 and I can't afford that usually but thought I would get 3-4 meals out of it. Don't eat here!
