Zhu Zai Ji Shi Fu (Jiangnan Avenue)

"A hawker-stall-turned-restaurant now with two branches – this casual, bustling three-storey joint is prized for its authentic Cantonese food. The juicy, flavoursome roast goose has been a big hit for the past 20 years. Other specialities include salted pork trotters, Zhu Ji steamed chicken, and blackened barbecued pork. Pastured pork soup with mung bean-stuffed lotus root tastes delicious and delivers interesting textures." - Michelin Inspector

Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou (Guangzhou, Guangdong Province) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The Chinese city of Guangzhou finds the world’s luxury-hotel brands in top form, and the Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou is a fine example. Occupying the top 30 floors of the 103-story Guangzhou International Finance Centre, it towers over the Pearl River and takes in commanding views of the entire cityscape. Eminently palatable interiors and faultless high-end comforts are the core of the Four Seasons brand, and they’re certainly present here. The spa, pool, and fitness center are impressive, as are the numerous bars and restaurants, including Catch, on the 100th floor, the city’s highest restaurant — but the most impressive space might be the vertiginous central atrium." - Tablet Hotels

Wow this hotel is extra ordinary. We loved it so much! Hugs rooms, crazy view over the city. Amazing team that helped us with everything! We were staying with a 2 years old baby and the room was huge, when he was sleeping we did baths with the view and the room was so big that it was ok. Big baby bed, and amazing options for food in breakfast and dinner. Room service was also good and complete blackout windows so we could sleep well. Special thank you to April from the reception, who helped us with all we needed all the time. Special thanks to Helson from the breakfast that helped us to try all the local dishes. And thank you Esther from the Japanese restaurant. We loved the food so much that we went there twice. We will 100% be back to the hotel we really enjoyed it.

I stayed at the Four Seasons Guangzhou and it was an unforgettable experience. The hotel is located in the IFC tower, offering breathtaking views of the city from the lobby and the rooms. The design is modern and elegant, and everything feels luxurious from the moment you arrive.||The service was flawless – every staff member I encountered was professional, polite, and genuinely attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth.||My room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the skyline. What made my stay extra special was that when the staff knew I had a work promotion, they generously offered me an upgrade to a larger room, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Housekeeping was consistent and always left everything perfect.||The spa was also a highlight – the treatments were relaxing, and the facilities immaculate. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of both international and local options, and the quality was outstanding.||What I loved the most, besides the service and comfort, was the location. The hotel is directly connected to IFC Mall, so I could easily explore high-end shops, cafes, and restaurants just by walking. It was very convenient and made the stay even more enjoyable.||Overall, this was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had – everything was simply perfect. Highly recommended!

I really liked the ping-pong and the other sports stuff. The hotel was really fancy and the view was amazing. The breakfast buffet has a lot of food, and the service is very great as well. Even though the breakfast buffet could have more drinks to choose, like mango or apple juice. Lastly, the room design very great.😊

Disappointing Stay at Guangzhou Four Seasons Hotel😧I recently stayed at the Guangzhou Four Seasons Hotel and unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations for a luxury hotel.First of all, the check-in process was highly inefficient. Despite the official check-in time being 15:00, my room was still not ready by 15:30. The lobby was crowded with guests waiting for their rooms to be prepared, which was frustrating and inconvenient.Secondly, the room facilities were noticeably outdated. The bathtub and shower faucets were loose and lacked the refinement one would expect from a Five-Star hotel. The overall maintenance and quality of the amenities did not reflect the standard Four Seasons is known for.Additionally, the dining experience at Yu Yue Heen, which proclaimed itself as the Michelin One-Star restaurant, was deeply disappointing. The food quality was far from what one would anticipate from a Michelin-starred establishment. It was so underwhelming that I chose to order breakfast from outside instead of dining at the hotel again. On a positive side, the location of this hotel is good without any doubt , the reception staff were proactive, professional and spoke fluent, accent-free English, which was appreciated. Turn down service is provided ( but this is a standard procedure for five stars hotel)However, given that this hotel is housed in one of Guangzhou’s most iconic buildings ( IFC), the lack of upkeep and attention to detail is unacceptable. For the price paid, I expected a much higher level of both service and food quality. At least, the hotel should know, deal is a deal, 1500 check in time means everything is ready for the next customer. After all, they required the customer check out 1200 on time. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and makes necessary improvements.评分:★★☆☆☆

Stayed there beginning of July in a deluxe suite canton tower view.|Room wasnt ready when we got there but we got there at 11am so wasnt expecting it anyways. My wife was happy they took wechat/alipay for payment.| We headed down to the shops below to eat and explore while we waited for the room to be ready.||Room was very spacious but not really an efficient use of space. The views..thats what we are here for isnt it?|Just gorgeous at night. In the day time i did feel like i had to close the blinds as the room heated up and the ac could barely provide any cooling.||The room itself was nice however there were chips and scrapes on the wall, mouldings, floor tile and carpet. My sons got the sofabed and said it was just okay(they thought it would be the same one as the FS Whistler)||Rooms are showing its age and probably time for a refresh soon.||We had access to the club lounge and we had breakfast there everyday. Everyone at the lounge was very accommodating and also willing to to the extra step even though sometimes the end product wasnt there.||We did the high tea there once and never went back..pales in comparison to other hotel lounges we stayed at.||I like how the hotel is connected underground to everything especially in the summer to avoid the heat and humidity.||My biggest issue was with the pool. Both times we went there were swimming lessons there by locals and not guests. First time ive seen that at a 5 star hotel. So basically the lessons took one lane of the already narrow pool. Not ideal as my sons wanted to get some length in but with the remaining space being shared by slower swimmers it was not ideal.||Life guards were great and provided headcaps.||Gym was very well appointed but the dumbelks were sort of janky with some play between the bar and bells.||Housekeeping and turndown service was phenomenal. Couldnt have asked for more!||Would we stay here again? Yes definately it was either this, conrad or park hyatt and glad we choose FS. If they could figure out the pool situation that would be great.

I was truly impressed by this hotel from the moment I arrived. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with every detail thoughtfully considered — from heated bathroom floors to top-tier butler service that made every moment seamless. The staff are not only professional but incredibly warm and respectful. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is unforgettable, anticipating your needs before you even ask. Breakfast offers an impressive spread, from classic American options to authentic Chinese cuisine — there’s something for every palate. One of the highlights for me was the variety of on-site restaurants, including several Michelin-starred gems. After long days exploring the city, dining in was not just convenient, it was a true pleasure. I also toured the kids’ facilities and was genuinely impressed. It gave me confidence to return with my family next time, knowing they’ve thought of everything — from luxury to family comfort. This is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience. A must-stay destination that I’ll definitely be returning to.

This is one of the best Four Seasons I've stayed at. Four Seasons itself is a great hotel chain but the one in Guangzhou takes room luxury and amenities to the next level. Through impressed. Service was great. Room was fabulous
