Zhu Zai Ji Shi Fu (Jiangnan Avenue)

"A hawker-stall-turned-restaurant now with two branches – this casual, bustling three-storey joint is prized for its authentic Cantonese food. The juicy, flavoursome roast goose has been a big hit for the past 20 years. Other specialities include salted pork trotters, Zhu Ji steamed chicken, and blackened barbecued pork. Pastured pork soup with mung bean-stuffed lotus root tastes delicious and delivers interesting textures." - Michelin Inspector

Stayed there beginning of July in a deluxe suite canton tower view.|Room wasnt ready when we got there but we got there at 11am so wasnt expecting it anyways. My wife was happy they took wechat/alipay for payment.| We headed down to the shops below to eat and explore while we waited for the room to be ready.||Room was very spacious but not really an efficient use of space. The views..thats what we are here for isnt it?|Just gorgeous at night. In the day time i did feel like i had to close the blinds as the room heated up and the ac could barely provide any cooling.||The room itself was nice however there were chips and scrapes on the wall, mouldings, floor tile and carpet. My sons got the sofabed and said it was just okay(they thought it would be the same one as the FS Whistler)||Rooms are showing its age and probably time for a refresh soon.||We had access to the club lounge and we had breakfast there everyday. Everyone at the lounge was very accommodating and also willing to to the extra step even though sometimes the end product wasnt there.||We did the high tea there once and never went back..pales in comparison to other hotel lounges we stayed at.||I like how the hotel is connected underground to everything especially in the summer to avoid the heat and humidity.||My biggest issue was with the pool. Both times we went there were swimming lessons there by locals and not guests. First time ive seen that at a 5 star hotel. So basically the lessons took one lane of the already narrow pool. Not ideal as my sons wanted to get some length in but with the remaining space being shared by slower swimmers it was not ideal.||Life guards were great and provided headcaps.||Gym was very well appointed but the dumbelks were sort of janky with some play between the bar and bells.||Housekeeping and turndown service was phenomenal. Couldnt have asked for more!||Would we stay here again? Yes definately it was either this, conrad or park hyatt and glad we choose FS. If they could figure out the pool situation that would be great.

I was truly impressed by this hotel from the moment I arrived. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and fully equipped with every detail thoughtfully considered — from heated bathroom floors to top-tier butler service that made every moment seamless. The staff are not only professional but incredibly warm and respectful. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay is unforgettable, anticipating your needs before you even ask. Breakfast offers an impressive spread, from classic American options to authentic Chinese cuisine — there’s something for every palate. One of the highlights for me was the variety of on-site restaurants, including several Michelin-starred gems. After long days exploring the city, dining in was not just convenient, it was a true pleasure. I also toured the kids’ facilities and was genuinely impressed. It gave me confidence to return with my family next time, knowing they’ve thought of everything — from luxury to family comfort. This is more than just a hotel — it’s an experience. A must-stay destination that I’ll definitely be returning to.

We stayed at Four Seasons Guangzhou from June 28–29 and had a lovely experience. The view from our room was amazing, especially at night. Big thank you to Sue, the guest experience manager, for her kindness and the cute Four Seasons plushies such a thoughtful surprise. Everything felt smooth and relaxed. |Service was great, though we didn’t spend much time in the hotel. Would happily stay again.

exceptional service we’ve received during our stay at the Four Seasons. Icy at the front desk was incredibly thoughtful and attentive—she noticed I was waiting with my kids and went above and beyond to assist with my request. Her kindness and warmth truly made a difference and set the tone for our stay.||Leo from in-room dining was also wonderful. He was not only professional but also very considerate. He noticed I was traveling with children and thoughtfully included some complimentary candies with our order, which absolutely made my kids’ day.||Although I didn’t catch her name, our housekeeper deserves a special mention as well. She consistently ensured everything in our room was perfectly refreshed and restocked while we were out. Her quiet efficiency and attention to detail did not go unnoticed and were greatly appreciated.||These thoughtful gestures truly reflect the outstanding hospitality the Four Seasons is known for. Please extend my sincere thanks to the entire team.

The cleanliness of the hotel's family room is not very good, and the facilities in the room are below expectation. maybe due to there are many guests on weekends, the attitude of staffs at check-in and check-out are also not very good, which is not in line with the hotel's brand and the standard of the Four Seasons.

Everything was fantastic, especially the 60min traditional massage with citrus oils. This is one of the best, if not the best hotel in Guangzhou! The best views, facilities and service. I loved my stay! Thank you!

I stayed here for 2 nights. Everything was perfect. The hotel's design is so stunning. Spacious bathroom, comfy bed with a soft pillow so different from another hotel. The room is luxurious as expected from a Four Seasons hotel. The view from the room is also close to the Canton Tower. It’s so beautiful that I can't describe it, especially at night. |What is more special than the beauty of the hotel is the lovely staff. |I remember all of them. ‘Jaydan’, who checked me in was patient and attentive. 'Aria’ at the front desk is beneficial to me a lot.  ||In the room, I had some issues with hot water in the Bathroom. The housekeeper's name Evelyn is helpful in trying to solve it for me quickly. Another person who impressed me a lot was Dan Ting. |I left my glasses in the room and there were my fingerprints on them, which were not very clean. When I went out and came back, I found that she had placed a cleaning cloth under my glasses with a card that was written with great care. She is so sweet.  I've stayed at many hotels and have never encountered anything like this. It was very unexpected. ||And that night I went to drink at the 99th floor Tian bar. There was a perfect view, a nice bar, and tasty drinks. The staff named 'Sky' was attentive and took care of us. He did a great job.|On Sunday morning we went to the restaurant for breakfast. All the staff were friendly. The only thing was that I ordered three main dishes with tea. After half an hour I followed up and only got one dish and the restaurant had time to be close but that is understandable as I came quite late and there were quite a few guests. Anyway! Thanks to 'Helson Piao' for the polite and considerate apology. He brings the delicious dessert for us. Bread Toast was so yummy.||When I was leaving, the bellboy’s name 'Solo' was helpful and polite. ||All the staff treated us as if they were well-serviced minds and trained. Staying here was a great memory. I will recommend it to everyone. It is the best hotel in Guangzhou.

Hands down, this is a very lovely hotel and is the most glittering gem in Guangzhou.- nice and sleek interior design that puts it on the pedestal in the same league;- squeaky clean and spick and span;- very comfortable bed that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack;- quiet and reclusive, and the modern life and vibrancy is a stone's throw away;- Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful.Simply the best accommodation!
