We had always wanted to stay at this hotel, so my friends and I used the incentive of our 50th birthdays to finally book there and mark this off our bucket lists. It's a beautiful hotel in an A+ location, and the pool and the fabulous pool staff are a huge draw. Pooshan, Eray, and Buffie made me and my friends feel like the best guests who ever stayed there. WE ABSOLUTELY LOVED THEM -- and all their colleagues, too. The pool is gorgeous, the food is great, service by Pooshan is top shelf, and the drinks by Eray are fabulous. Prices are like Vegas prices. Just pay them and enjoy the time there. Carpe diem. (We visited in May, and we understand that later in the pool season seats require some kind of time slot booking. There isn't a whole lot of seating so I could see the seats filling up fast.)
The hotel location is great, walkable to lots of fun places to shop, drink, and eat. Usually we try to go to the Four Seasons spa when in Baltimore, but this time we took a pass because all the "heat experience" stuff (sauna, whirlpool, steam room) were closed due to Covid. It's hard to justify a few hundred dollars for a spa visit when you don't get the full experience.
I know it may seem petty, but we were disappointed that the hotel never did anything special in our room to acknowledge our celebration, like send champagne or a special dessert to the room. Every time I celebrate something really special at other top-tier hotels like the Ritz, they do a lot to make to me feel like a rock star when I'm there for the big celebrations. So no rock star treatment in your room at the Four Seasons. Boo. But you might feel pretty VIP at the pool if you get the pleasure of having Pooshan, Eray, and Buffie working with you.
