Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur

"Why did this hotel catch your attention? What's the vibe? Located in Kuala Lumpur's upscale Golden Triangle neighborhood, the Four Seasons hotel and private residences occupy a gleaming 65-story skyscraper that’s become one of the most identifiable structures on the city skyline. The tower itself is part of the vast Kuala Lumpur City Centre complex, so guests just have to venture downstairs to access a wide array of shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Like the rest of the area, the hotel oozes crisp, contemporary luxury. What's the backstory? Opened in 2018, the sanctuary is part of the international Four Seasons chain, but it’s clear there’s been a dedicated effort to represent the destination. Works by local artists, the use of traditional materials like rattan, and colors like imperial blues weave Malaysian history and culture into the otherwise airy, contemporary décor. Tell us all about the accommodations. Any tips on what to book? Located on the 8th through 18th floors, the rooms, in classic Four Seasons fashion, have been designed to feel like polished upscale residences. There are clean-lined furnishings, soothing color palettes, and oversized windows framing views of KLCC Park and the surrounding skyscrapers. (Of course, you’ll also find those signature Four Seasons mattresses.) All 198 rooms and 11 suites have iPads loaded with the Four Seasons app, through which you can order room service, make restaurant and spa reservations, and live chat with concierges to plan itineraries. Is there a charge for Wi-Fi? Wi-Fi is fast and complimentary throughout the hotel. Drinking and dining—what are we looking at? At the signature Yun House, Cantonese-focused prix fixe, a la carte meals, and a popular dim sum menu are served in an ornate, garden-inspired room lined with huge picture windows looking out at KLCC Park. Pair your dishes with one of the tea-infused cocktails and mocktails, or something from the extensive tea list. Amid a celebration of mirrors and glass artwork, Curate lets diners serve themselves from an international buffet or watch as their pizzas get tossed and their noodles get pulled right in front of them. The East-meets-West menu and traditional afternoon tea draw the city’s chic set to the lobby level Lounge. while the Pool Bar and Grill goes from serving Middle Eastern mezze light bites during the day to a shisha bar after dark. Locals and guests alike meet at Bar Trigona for cocktails that incorporate herbs and spices found throughout Malaysia. The bar is named for a native species of bees, and guests can sign up to adopt a hive of honeybees at an organic farm that the hotel supports. What type of travelers will you find here? A refined, well-heeled crowd of both locals and travelers. Given the location, the place attracts a fair number of business types, as well as sophisticated leisure travelers loyal to Four Seasons. Both contingents appreciate being so close to dining, shopping, and the park, as it’s easy to run out and grab something—or get in a quick run—in between meetings or sightseeing. On the local front, it’s the place to catch up with friends over a refined afternoon tea after a day of shopping, as well as a top venue for society weddings and events. What about the neighborhood? Does the hotel fit in, make itself part of the scene? If your time in Kuala Lumpur is short, this is where you want to stay, as there’s so much to see and do close by. In addition to boasting its own luxury retail hub (located on the six floors below the hotel), the property is adjacent to the Petronas Twin Towers, perhaps the most iconic building in the city, so it’s easy to whiz over there to check out the 88th floor observatory deck or visit the mall on the ground floor. Another 100 acres of shops, restaurants, and nightlife can be found throughout the KLCC complex, which is also home to the 50-acre KLCC Park, complete with running tracks and tropical gardens. Just across the park is the convention center, while a 10-minute walk brings you to the Aquaria KLCC aquarium and a five-minute walk leads to the nearest metro station. Any other hotel features worth noting? You’ll feel like you’re floating among the skyscrapers at the outdoor pool, which is a refreshing retreat after a day of sightseeing. At the spa, most of the skin and body care services use products imported from aboard, but the signature massage uses a wooden rattan tool and a traditional herbal oil to deliver a deep-tissue rub-down. Check in to one of the Club rooms or suites to enjoy access to the Executive Club lounge, which puts out a spread for breakfast, afternoon tea, and cocktail hour. Club level guests also get access to a dedicated concierge and enjoy two complimentary pieces of dry cleaning per day—a welcome touch for those in town on business. Bottom line: Worth it? Why? An ideal pick for those who want to be in the center of Kuala Lumpur's vibrant Golden Triangle, while enjoying Four Seasons' signature residential-style respite." - Sandra Ramani

Where Elegance Meets Excellence: A Memorable Stay at Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur From the moment we arrived, the welcome extended by the entire staff was nothing short of impeccable. The concierge stood out for his exceptional professionalism, offering clear and valuable guidance for exploring the city’s shopping and services. The hotel’s central location makes it an ideal base for discovering Kuala Lumpur, with easy access to key attractions and amenities. Breakfast was a true delight—featuring three varieties of honey, freshly baked breads and croissants, and exquisite quiches crafted by the chef as a thoughtful gesture. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between elegance and relaxation, with a warm, easy-going atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. To crown our experience, we dined at Yun House, where the culinary quality was outstanding. The refined and sophisticated setting made the evening truly special. If there’s one small suggestion, it would be to fine-tune the room temperature, which felt slightly too cold. A truly memorable stay—bravo to the entire team! The perfect way to conclude our wonderful summer holiday in Malaysia.

Recently celebrated my engagement ceremony here and it was perfect. Despite last minute requests, the team delivered above and beyond. We were upgraded to a Park View Suite, beautifully decorated for the occasion. It truly made our day extra special. Special thanks to Ellie, our incredible hotel representative, for her care throughout. Johnson and Amirul from the banquet team ensured everything ran smoothly, while Chef Haikal and Chef Ashraf wowed everyone with a delicious feast. The only guest “complaint” was that there was too much good food! The attention to detail is impeccable, creating a memory we’ll treasure forever. Highly recommended for unforgettable celebrations. If given the chance, I would do it all over again with them.

We had a wonderful experience and an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything was superb. I truly appreciate how the staff treated us, especially Ms. Sharry—one of the friendliest people I've ever spoken to. If you're planning to stay here, I highly recommend looking for Ms. Sharry. She’ll gladly assist you and make your stay even more pleasant! Just a small note—something a bit mysterious happened during our stay: the TV switched on by itself at around 3 a.m. Not sure why, but it definitely added a spooky touch to our night!

We had our wedding at the Four Seasons KL, and we were incredibly fortunate to have Ellie as our point of contact throughout the planning and execution. From the very beginning, Ellie was always helpful, responsive, and committed to making our day as special as possible. She consistently went above and beyond, doing everything she could to ensure we had the best experience. No detail was too small, and no request was ever too much. Ellie handled everything with professionalism and genuine care. The entire team at the Four Seasons was wonderful, but Ellie truly stood out. Her dedication, warmth, and attention to detail made all the difference, and we can’t thank her enough for everything she did. She played such a big part in making our wedding unforgettable.

This is a great reflection of the standard that you expect from four seasons worldwide. They knew our names when we got out of the car. Check in is in the room and the staff are fantastic and very helpful. Feels newly refurbished and modern. |Great location, top views of the KLCC park and fountains. Concierge recommended good options for dinner locally.

I recently stayed at the Four Seasons Kuala Lumpur and, regrettably, it was one of the most disappointing five-star hotel experiences I’ve had — globally. Let’s begin with the service: staff were poorly trained, lacking basic professionalism and awareness. A simple inquiry about room rates devolved into confusion, with the front desk quoting what turned out to be the upgrade cost, not the actual price. The lack of clarity, care, and follow-through was remarkable. There was no attention to detail, no proactive effort to make the guest feel welcome — just a transactional, indifferent tone that bordered on arrogance. One might forgive this at a budget airport hotel; at a Four Seasons, it’s jarring. This wasn’t an isolated impression — I shared a lift ride with another guest who, unprompted, remarked that the service here was consistently “terrible”, and the previous time she was here the staff even made her feel like crying with their mistreatment. A telling sign when strangers are commiserating over the same poor experience. The state of the room, unfortunately, was no redemption. It smelled musty and slightly off, like an old storage closet. The bathroom had a damp, almost foul odour, the floor was sticky underfoot, and the furniture showed visible signs of neglect — the sofa in particular had a faint film of grime. The wear and tear was more in line with a dated mid-range property than a flagship luxury hotel. This felt like a hotel coasting on brand equity, not delivering on it. I chose Four Seasons expecting the usual blend of polish, warmth, and excellence — instead, I encountered neglect, confusion, and a striking lack of pride in hospitality. I hope this feedback prompts serious internal review, because this stay fell far below not just expectations, but basic standards.

Yelp
We had an incredible stay at the four seasons Kuala Lumpur. Check in process with Vic was perfect, he's was very friendly, polite and accommodating giving us advice to make our stay more pleasant. Check out with Ali was equally a pleasure and the staff at concierge service was also great they helped me cancel a reservation and gave us advice about places to visit. The hotel offers luxury in every aspect. We enjoyed the spa and the outdoor pool with incredible view of the buildings and the jacuzzi was a total plus. the staff at the bar outstanding service! Thank you to Chankat the bartender! The rooms are comfortable and the location is perfect to get around. Breakfast was delicious at Curate restaurant with a big variety of local and international cuisine. We left loving this four seasons. Thank you to the wonderful staff! We'll be back!

Yelp
As I walked in I was not too happy with how small and tight the lobby felt. However, the room the service and the amenities turn out to be excellent. The pool was beautiful and clean. As a gym rat this is one of the few five star hotel gyms with sufficient weight. I really enjoyed my stay.

Yelp
We had such a lovely stay here & would highly recommend this Four Seasons location to those visiting KL. The hotel is elegant and the hotel room is such a beautiful retreat from the city. We were greeted with a little box of sweets & a card. The extra touches they add to the room is also seen in their services across their staff. During our stay we enjoyed the spa, pool and breakfast buffet at Curate. The location is a plus too as it's close to KLCC & other main city attractions.

Yelp
This hotel is located across the street from mall. And located near restaurants and coffee shops and convenient store. On entry huge and airy room was like a small suite walk in , you come to the open closest and luggage storage . Bathroom was separated shower and toilet had they own space . Huge garden tub after a day of walking . But that bidet was life yes this was my first experience. I could have tired it back in 2001 in London, England but I was scared . It was the bomb the warm seat to greet me on chilly nights . It flushed open and closed like magic . The room it self ceiling to floor glass window with electric curtains. The bed was heavenly and pillows were firm . The pool was nice as well, with the Jacuzzi. Plus nice view from pool area and great drinks .Overall I loved my 4 night stay .

Yelp
Stayed her for a night just to see what the hype was all about. I have to say it was worth every bit of money i spent here. It's a high end hotel with very fancy and posh living spaces. The bathrooms had marble counters and solid chrome fixtures. The staff was really nice especially since they know you're paying top prices to be here.
