I would like to leave a positive review for your housekeeping service. Your thoughtful and meticulous care, along with the fact that all the staff could remember our names and anticipate our needs, made me feel especially at home. I had a wonderful birthday thanks to your exceptional service. Thank you! However, the dining experience and service attitude at the restaurant were average. For instance, even though we made a reservation and provided a phone number, we did not receive a confirmation message. As a five-star hotel, it was disappointing that unsatisfactory dishes could not be refunded. Additionally, for our party of six, a 20% service charge was applied without prior notice. I hope these aspects can be improved in the future.

Great room. Friendly, efficient front desk staff. Nice upgrades (credit card based). Great view. Nice spa. Good food but slow service @ Ramsays Kitchen. Will return when in the area. We stayed 2 nights to break up the drive from Texas to Chicago.

Highly recommend! Especially if you’re an Amex card holder, you literally cannot beat the perks provided to you. Service was amazing, clean rooms, they even upgraded us to make our experience even better. It felt like a home away from home!!

This was a great hotel. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The pool was packed but nice with a good bar and nearby restaurant. There is an incredible view of the Gateway Arch as well. The rooms were small but decor was nice.||We were only there for one night. We snacked on truffle fries and avocado toast - both were delicious. The lobby area is small but most everything else is on the 4th floor.||I actually found a cheaper rate on Hotels.com than on the Four Seasons website. I never like that as I prefer to book directly with the hotel.||The only negative was that two Uber drivers couldn't find the entrance so it took awhile to get transportation out. The hotel did end up transporting us to the airport, I think for a fee but it was worth it.||I will definitely stay here again when in St. Louis.

Had an amazing day at the spa; massages, pedicures, and facials. Very clean facilities and friendly staff. Will absolutely go back. The only issue was that while making the reservation, I expressed interest in getting pool passes, which I was told we could purchase the day of our spa services. About a half hour before we arrived, I received a call from staff stating that because it was a holiday we could not get pool passes because the hotel was at capacity. After our spa services, we walked up to the rooftop pool, and it was empty. The hotel needs to re-evaluate that policy. I would have loved to have enjoyed the beautiful weather and the pool. However, we did receive credit on our profiles for a future visit, so I can't really complain.

Google
Garrett at the front desk was really helpful and thorough with explaining the hotel amenities and made it a seamless and even pleasant experience to get checked in, especially since he's so knowledgeable and friendly! When we ordered breakfast from the Ramsay's Kitchen menu, the food was delicious and service was good and prompt, and they even added a cute table decoration to give the meal and table an elevated look Also, the room was beautiful and the upgrade with the Ramsay's Kitchen restaurant has been great. The staff and food there are impeccable (Brionnah with the pretty hair was a great, kind, and knowledgeable server). The spa is also A-mazing, and best massage I've ever had with Le'nette who was also super sweet, yet professional and has been a masseuse for 16 years and has advanced degrees in her craft (I had to ask her about her experience since she's so good at what she does). I felt greatly relaxed after going to such a top notch spa. I'll surely be back!

We attended a gala and the food was amazing!! By far the fanciest most delicious event food I’ve ever had. The ballroom was beautiful, the view of the arch spectacular on a foggy misty night.

Did not stay overnight. Was there for a training course. Free parking right across the little street in downtown. Employee held entrance door for me in and out. Beautiful water fall and art inside. Cozy small conference area with huge windows and a good-sized deck overlooking the Mississippi River. A/C was too cold, so basking in the sunshine was nice during the break between classes. Good size classrooms with large screens. Chairs were comfortable enough. Buffet food was presented nicely, delicious, and served at a good temperature. Ceramic plates, metal utensils, and cloth napkins.

Yelp
Hello luxury! This is probably the nicest hotel I've stayed at in the US. The last hotel I stayed in only offered housekeeping every other night and here, they offered it twice daily housekeeping. Every member of the staff was incredible and super nice. Bath lovers can take a lovely soak in the massive and deep tub with the complementary effervescent cube made by L'Occitane. All their bathroom products are L'Occitane which felt really fancy. Gym goers are in for a treat. So many machines for both cardio and strength. There's even a full squat rack, apples, and refreshingly chilled minty towels. Don't even get me started on the bed, it was very comfortable and I didn't want to leave for my 8am meetings. It's helpful that there's a restaurant on the 8th floor with a gorgeous view. Robes, slippers, coffee, and water are all included. There is a minibar for payment and room service with offerings from Ramsay's Kitchen just downstairs.

Yelp
So I'm back the deserts are awesomeness The rooms are very nice as always Theirs plenty of security and cameras Inside and out i always feel very safe here i do go outside after midnight never had a problem i only wish I could live here...check out talking to Sabrina after hours they have a amazing food choices

Patricia J.

Yelp
Have stayed here many times before and never had a problem. I forgot name Brand personal items and I got a response back from security of lost and found that they were going to check with housekeeping/maid and that they would reach out. That did not happen and then when I called again after not getting a response, I was finally told that the maid claims there was nothing in the room left at all. Sad to say we will not be staying here anymore. Also this city has not changed much and I do not feel safe walking around outside or inside of the hotel. I ran into a few shady people and I was not happy with the overall experience.

Yelp
Holiday lodge at four seasons pop up cocktails bar! Next to Ramsey Kitchen. You check in at the restaurant and staff walk you over to the pop up bar . Same floor but located in the top golf suite. Beautifully decorated, Xmas music , sultry in a small area. Comfortable and cozy. Holiday cocktails and small shareable plates to nibble on. Pretty pricey! We ordered merry cocktails and chocolate martini. You have the option of reserving a table at the Ramsey Kitchen . Great views and fireplace!

Yelp
Hotel is nice, it's the Four Seasons after all. Service wasn't bad...but I feel like it could be better given the price of the hotel. I would stay here again if it weren't in the worst part of town I've ever seen. Now on to the bad: Downtown STL is a DUMP. Like seriously, this place looks like what AI would draw up for you if you told it to show you a picture of a rundown city. Extremely dangerous area. I felt unsafe even taking a step outside. Do not stay here.

Ahmad G.

Yelp
Four Seasons delivers a great experience almost always. This was the least positive stay at any FS we've been to. The issue was the highway noise and the uncomfortable beds. We complained to the manager. They did switch us to a better room but the staff were not that friendly compared to every single FS we've tried. The coffee score was great 5/5. Rooms comfort was 2/5 or 3/5 at best. Staff hospitality 3/5.

Bill D.

Yelp
This is such a beautiful hotel. Service was great checking into the hotel. The elevator situation can be confusing if you are not familiar. You check in on floor one, then take the elevator to i believe floor 8. You have to get off and go around to the second set of elevators to get to your room. Because of the resturaunt I'm sure this adds to the security of your room. The room was very comfortable and luxurious. Beautiful view of the Gateway Arch and city lights that gleam through the glass when the sun goes down. That might bother some, for me its very comforting. We were able to catch breakfast in the hotel as well which is another bonus of the stay.

Melissa L.

Yelp
This was my first visit to this Four Seasons. It was a short stay, but relaxing nonetheless. Thoughts: Service deserves 5 stars. Very attentive. Excellent views of the Gateway Arch (whether room or outdoor bar), but a 15 minute walk to the Arch Great restaurant on site (Cinder House) Casino next door (not my thing) Rooms are comfortable The immediate area around the hotel is not a great spot for strolling. Rooftop pool near highway overpass. Did not try spa or fitness center. Very close to The Dome. Overall, a great place to stay when needing a place in the city.

Mike N.

Yelp
Very stylish and clean facilities with around the clock services available and a friendly and quality staff. Definitely got the premium money's worth from this stay.

Jenna W.

Yelp
Beautiful property, great people all around. Lisa and Kelly were fab. Property is well-maintained and so nice. Rooms are clean and lush as you would expect. Only disappointment is that they are currently remodeling, so the larger, typical Four Seasons-style bar was not there. There is a mini one in its place. It was still a fun area to enjoy a beverage. The remaining bar area was reserved for a private event one day, so we weren't able to fully hang out there but the Mississippi pop-up restaurant was available. We would stay here again!

Chloe H.

Yelp
Their Junior and presidential suites are more recently remodeled and have exceptional views of the topographical assets St Louis has to offer. The staff is amazing, restaurants to be expected with the four seasons, and so too is their spa (I just left a review on the spot in case you are seeking further advice). They are dog friendly like every luxury chain hotel, and inclusive for their lgbt, disabled, and racially diverse clientele. If you enjoy gambling they're also attached to a casino, and within close proximity of pretty much every major attraction in downtown St louis. The only drawback is if you need any sort of shopping while staying at the hotel, you're going to have to send out that request because there's nothing much to speak of on premises. And I know that the news reports about high crime in downtown St louis, but you can be assured that this hotel has not only ample security but is architecturally considerate of that with their design (you'll know what I mean once you stay there). Oh, and the other reason that I enjoy this property is like most luxury chain establishments they offer 24-hour room service for those late night delectables and, depending upon your accommodation, staff focused exclusively on providing you the most memorable stay possible. Generally speaking, they managed to meet this guest's expectations.

Yelp
Stayed at this hotel for my birthday and it was absolutely gorgeous!!! This is definitely a luxury hotel. As soon as we walked in it was giving luxury all the way. As we checked in we were greeted with hot towels. The staff was so friendly and very professional. The hotel atmosphere was so beautiful! We walked in our room and they had a little birthday cake for me which was so nice and special. Our room was spectacular and OMG the bed!!! The best sleep I've had in years!! The bed was so comfortable you just sunk into it like sleeping on a cloud. The view from our room was really nice. We spent some time in the pool and jacuzzi. The pool area is so beautiful, I felt like I was at a resort. The pool is heated so even though it was cool outside we still swam, and it was also a salt water pool. The jacuzzi was really nice as well. Definitely will be staying at this hotel again for sure. A nice staycation to just getaway and relax.

Yelp
They enter your room at 9pm every night and help themselves to your personal belongings. I came back to find items stolen by housekeeping. They said they have 9pm turndown service and will enter unless you ask otherwise but they don't disclose ahead of time upon checkin. They took it upon themselves to steal my tea bags, my cream, my honey, my ketchup, my hot sauce, all that had come with my breakfast from yesterday. 9pm is way too late for turndown service. Many people are undressed or asleep at that time. They don't seem to have Do not disturb signs, or they are hidden because they apparently want an excuse to ransack your room and belongings. I attempted to call corporate office in Toronto but they do not want to speak. They hung on me repeatedly. Then they called me from Ontario pretending to be "the phone company" saying my phone number was blocked. After I asked what phone company, they asked why I want to know and I stated because I think they are lying. Then a second man came on the line saying they were Four Seasons. They claimed corporate office would call me but that hasn't happened. Also, the Customer Service line promised a call back from corporate office that hasn't arrived. Also, the Toronto Four Seasons promised a call back from corporate office that hasn't arrived. How many times must they lie, steal, avoid, and impersonate? They refused to provide any compensation despite invading my privacy, my present occupancy, my trust, and my right to quiet enjoyment. I have reported theft to St. Louis PD. Four Seasons cannot be trusted, they are cleary Rotten to the core, not just this property but the whole company. Spending tens of thousands of dollars across multiple properties does not even cause them to care. Amazingly they don't care about customers or money. Not sure why they exist. Update: Corporate office refuses to provide compensation and believes they have the right to take my belongings at whim. See you in Court.

Yelp
Very high end room with a view of the arch. The location is not great because you have to cross a highway to get to the rest of downtown where the bars and restaurants are. Not sure it's worth the cost of the room.

Jay J.

Yelp
Overall it was a great hotel if you are in the St. Louis area. I did like the level of security entering the floors. The Cinder Restaurant had friendly staff and a great ambiance. If you want to grab a quick snack or dinner or just take in the downtown views this is a great option. I did order the broccolini and mussels very good flavoring. There is a casino attached to the hotel but I did not get a chance to go while there. The rooms were also clean just a few minor stains on my pillow case and bed spread. There are a few attractive restaurants within several blocks of the hotel or take a quick ride to the restaurants.

Jay B.

Yelp
Very nice setting and peaceful hotel. Great bed and bedding and nice facilities. It's not as fancy as some of the Four Seasons hotels and for that I would say it is a 4-star (the hotel is also inside a gross casino building) but overall it is very nice. I reserved a "suite" but what the hotel calls a suite is merely a room so it's a bit fudgy how they describe and price for this. This is not a suite but a mere room. Very odd marketing--like we won't realize? False and misleading for sure. The food was not as good as many Four Seasons and lacking options.

Ritu R.

Yelp
Enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner at the Cinder house at this lovely hotel. Beautiful city views, tasteful aesthetic & yummy food... a perfect Thanksgiving meal!

Keith W.

Yelp
Great hotel! If you can afford to stay here on a trip to St. Louis is worth it on the other hand. If you can't afford it, treat yourself like a king and stay at the four seasons.

Shelby M.

Yelp
Excellent hotel. Luxury amenities. Beautiful views and accommodations. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Professional and friendly staff. We were well taken care of during our stay. I would definitely return! Top notch!

Anvita S.

Yelp
Great dinner with a view of the arch at Cinder House! The lamb ribs, fries and burger were favorites at the table. I also ordered 2 warm ciders which were so so good that I'd go back just for that! Topped off the meal with 3 desserts (chocolate cake, flan and a pineapple guava cake) which were all delicious.

J H.

Yelp
The people working here don't seem to know what the Four Seasons brand entails. Rude, crabby, strange. The view is lovely but the location of this hotel is awful, cannot walk anywhere, and I wish I was not staying here for Thanksgiving weekend but I am. This is not Four Seasons worthy property or hotel. Someone from FS needs to get here quick and save the brand.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
Here for the 1st time ever!!! I won a pair of tickets to the Tastful Affair to benefit FoodOutreach St. Louis. I can't review all the restaurants that participated (over 25) but we had some Favorites. Kingside Diner, Layla. Mushroom Naturally, Bugatti's, Social Affair, Serendipity and Tempus!! From everything from the Silent Auction. To the food to the Dancing to the Live Auction bidding.. it was a fantastic time. The Theme was 70's Disco so you had some pretty great get ups. And who doesn't love 70's Disco Music. I am hoping Outreach raised alot of $$ for their great organization.

Nur S.

Yelp
Really amazing hotel. The service was amazing. The rooms were really clean. The outdoor pool and hot tub had the view of the arch and it was a great place to hang out. Room service /restaurant food were also too notch.

Les S.

Yelp
Service was great, room was great, proximity to 24-hr entertainment was great. My only complaint was somewhat small. Check-in: Pulled up to the front door w/ overhead heaters and valet said leave your bags where they are and sent us in to registration. By the time we finished registration and got up to the room, bell service was getting off the elevator and coming down the hallway. Upon delivery, he rang the doorbell, and upon entering, he left the cooler up front and stored the luggage away in the closet. Room: Small entrance w/ half bath on left, straight ahead through living room, there was a view of the Arch through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Large TV on the left across from the sofa, complete with Bose surround sound. A round table w/ 4 chairs, a desk and roller chair, stocked fridge and pantry. We also had a mini fridge waiting for us since we had requested it. A bucket of ice had been requested, and although we called, it was already on its way. TV had standard channels including HBO, On-Demand movies (the ones that are JUST about to hit DVD) were $19.99 + tax. Couldn't view restaurant menus on the TV, but there was an in-room service menu available. Into the bedroom, there was a stand-alone chaise lounge by the floor-to-ceiling windows, again with a view of the Arch, a plush king bed w/ slippers next to it, another TV same size as the living room, a dresser. Then small hallway w/ sitting table (powder area) w/ a walk-in closet to the right and a large bathroom on the left. Bathroom included a rainfall shower, a separate room for the toilet, TV in the mirror, a large soaking tub w/ a shower head. There were even bath salts and a loofah sponge placed on the bath caddy and two plush robes hanging on hooks. Vanity includes the L'Occitane toiletries, cotton rounds, cotton swabs (not sure if they were Q-tip brand). The mirror was tall and every smudge had been buffed out. Not a thing out of place. In-room dining included a selection from the Cinder House restaurant. Decent selections w/ something available at almost every hour. I think it was an 18% gratuity fee and a $5 delivery charge. Upon leaving, we dropped the bags at the front desk to go have lunch. When we returned, we handed over the valet and bell tickets, but they had already packed the car w/ our belongings, and we were ready to go in minutes. My small complaint: Upon previous visits, I had been greeted w/ a message in candy, cookies, "niceties." I don't know if it was because we had been offered a discounted upgrade to a suite, but we definitely did not have this nice little greeting upon entering the room. What a bummer! It's one of the things that really made the previous stay so unique.

Yelp
We recently stayed here for our anniversary as a "staycation." While we had hoped to get out of town, COVID happened so we decided to splurge on the Four Seasons. We are happy we did! Parking tip - you can self-park for free in the garage. The garage is shared with the casino and not marked as well for the hotel, but there is an elevator that goes right to the lobby. They have been running some deals lately, so check their website for offers. We got a free upgrade. Check in was seamless - they also have an app that you can use to check in. The room was great! The bed was SO comfortable. The bathrooms here are HUGE. They have a giant soaking tub, rain shower head, a TV in the mirror, and a toilet room with a separate door for extra privacy. Since we were staying during the time of COVID, we wanted to keep our distance from other guests. The amenities that we took advantage of were: - Had drinks and apps on the terrace outside Cinder House - everything is spaced out, fire pit lit, great views. - Went to the hot tub and pool at night - no one was there. The pool is the same temp as the hot tub in winter, and is open year round. It was a beautiful city view and very refreshing! - Ordered room service for dinner and breakfast. Both were delicious! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we plan on making it a regular getaway!

Chris C.

Yelp
Really good hotel, amazing hospitality and architecture in the middle of bustling St Louis.

Joe S.

Yelp
M'eh. It's a review being written during COVID but while the staff at this hotel is at the standards I'd expect, no coffee in the morning, except a after a hike through the casino (attached), breakfast is limited and only through room service, towels are m'eh. Bed was comfortable, the view of the Arch was cool but the area is not walkable.

Magalis G.

Yelp
Had a fabulous stay here a few weeks ago! The rooms were very nice. I had a corner room with a view. The bed was comfy, and the unit was very clean. I brought my two kids with me and they were very accommodating. They provided a crib for jr. And bath amenities them. They even put a cute kids robe and slippers in the room for my daughter. We ordered room service which was incredibly fast. I will say that the food is a little lack luster but the service was fabulous. Everyone was accommodating and kind. I give this hotel a 4 star however because the pool was a bit nightmarish. We made reservations for a cabana. When we got there we were told that they had never received a reservation... Even though half the cabanas were open, it took them about 15 minutes to get the cabana set up for us. Once we got inside our cabana we were not impressed. It was small, crowded, and rather filthy (pics included). I get that most people won't come here to access the pool but daaaayaaam have some pride.

Yelp
My first time staying at a Four Seasons and it wasn't exactly what I expected. I hoped for more and got less. I'm not a hotel snob, but when you hear "Four Seasons" you expect luxury all the way. The service and amenities are probably exemplary. I have to say that the service really was. From the valet to the front desk, the workers were all friendly and went above and beyond what other hotels would have. In terms of amenities, they were lacking. This hotel is really small. I mean they had their pool and luxurious touches in the hotel room, but there was really only one communal floor for guests to enjoy the view. It also included the only restaurant as well. The front desk is basically that. It is only a desk with no grand lobby and then you have to go up two elevators to get to the hotel rooms. The rooms were spacious and felt luxurious with its Samsung TV and automated light switches. My favorite part of the room was the bed. One of the best mattresses I've ever slept on. I even inquired about it with the people at the front desk. My next one is going to be one of those. The location is fine if you are totally into gambling. You are right next door to the casino, but when you look out the window at night, the area looks pretty sketchy. In order to get to the casino, you have to go down two elevators and then walk down a few flights of stairs and through several doors. I wouldn't feel safe going back to my room at night if I were to take that route, especially if you have a lot of winnings. No real security. This hotel is the nicest one that is connected to the casino, but I'm pretty sure that there are other Four Season hotels that give you more bang for your buck.

Byron R.

Yelp
If you are all about treating yourself every now and again, go here immediately. If you e never stayed in this type of hotel your missing out big time. The most basic thing as addressing me by name every time they see if sells the whole place. Amazing they remember all the guest and always making sure your comfortable and happy.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
A five-star hotel that definitely deserves a five-star review. I stayed at the St. Louis Four Seasons back in late March in the midst of a move from the West Coast to the East Coast. My booking was through the American Express Fine Hotels and Resorts program, so my review is based on this experience specifically. The Room: I was housed on the 8th floor with a view of the river; the room itself was simply gorgeous. The size of the room felt even larger than the square footage that was listed and with floor to ceiling windows all around, the lighting was wonderful. At night, the view is particularly outstanding! The room itself was immaculate and very well maintained and cleaned. The king-sized bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've slept on and I am not too shy to admit that I seriously considered stealing their pillows (that good). I appreciated, in particular, the Nespresso that was made available to the room (all complimentary of course). The Bathroom: Mind-blowing. From the TV built into the mirror to the rain-fall shower head to the enormous space overall, the bathroom was its own feature to the stay. L'Occitane body wash, shampoos, and lotions make for a particularly luxurious experience. The entire space was very well-cleaned and maintained. The Service: The hotel staff were, simply put, outrageously amazing. From the gentlemen operating the valet station to the front-desk staff, every single Four Seasons of St. Louis employee I encountered was friendly, professional, and most of all, considerate. They very graciously honored my request to swap the $100 spa credit towards food and beverage (courtesy of AMEX FHR program). As I was traveling with a dog, they pre-arranged for a very plush dog-bed and bowls before arriving to the room. The front-desk representative even offered to arrange for a staff member to watch my dog while I had dinner at the restaurant. Another feature that I think is great is the ability to use the Four Seasons application to text back and forth with the front-desk. Gone are the days where you have to call anyone, which I am 100% ok with. The staff are extremely responsive and the speed with which they operate is truly impressive. The Summary: Every facet of my hotel stay was memorable and in a very positive way. I thoroughly (as did my dog) enjoyed my stay with the Four Seasons St. Louis and, should I ever have a reason to visit again, would immediately book my stay with them. Given the outstanding service, I feel bad that I am nearly 6 months late in providing them their well-deserved kudos.

Yelp
We stayed here for this past Memorial day and it was very nice. I mean, what do you expect? You are at the 4 seasons!?! So, pinch yourself and settle back for luxury at its finest. We were set up with a nice suite that had two huge windows overlooking the Mississippi. Very modern room with a lounge area, office area and huge plasma TV. There was tons of storage space throughout our suite. The bathroom was all marble and granite with a separate overhead shower and a sunken tub. The bathroom even had a TV that was built in to the mirror, never seen that before. The lobby is where you'll grab your coffee in the morning and maybe drinks. The patio has a huge space that has a very nice pool and cabana set up that overlooks the Arch. Location however, was right next to a casino. Not to sound like a snob, but I stay at the 4 seasons to avoid that kind of riff raff. A sixty year old guy chomping on the end of his cigar wearing an Ed Hardy tshirt and jeans certainly ruins a romantic meal. I also smelled smoking on our floor, which certainly should not happen for what you pay a night. It also got loud outside as people cruised around the casino throughout the wee hours. Don't get me wrong. I love the 4 Seasons, but they lose a star for location.

Jenniffer T.

Yelp
Fabulous, helpful and very informative guest service desk, check in was quick and efficient, upgraded room was beautiful and access to 5 star restaurants and shopping was perfect!! Will definitely be back!!

Yelp
I was only in town for one night so my experience on the property is mostly limited to the time I spent in the room. If you aren't familiar with the area it can be a little difficult to find, and I didn't see any convenient parking, but once you do there are valets to take care of this for you. My experience at the front desk while checking in and out was excellent. They were also accommodating when I stayed out later than expected and requested a late check out time. I wish I'd ordered room service for breakfast during my stay, as the menu looked delicious, but I will just have to remember this for next time. The valets were great every time I needed my car, and when I left after checking out our valet brought us out some bottles of water for the road. The corner room I stayed in was absolutely huge and the view was amazing. If you're booking an extended stay I would highly recommend this property as there are multiple closets and living space to unpack and unwind. The bedroom and bathroom were large enough to stroll round and not feel cooped up. There was a lounge, desk, and mini bar area in the room as well. The provided toiletries are from L'Occitane and the verbena scent in the body lotion is so amazing I have to track it down now. It was almost perfect! On the downside, if you want to take a bath in the large tub, give yourself a long while to let it fill. It takes forever. I did not have any complaint with the water pressure in the shower, but it was a rainfall style showerhead and less noticeable. But I wanted to relax in the tub before bed and I ended up staying up even later just waiting for it to be full enough to soak. I almost gave up and can't say it was worth the time. Other than that the room seemed very clean but when I woke in the morning I saw that there were odd marks on the headboard. I can only assume it is because they are pet friendly but I was pretty disappointed as I had already cleaned a few stray hairs out of the tub the night before. I would return if I am in town again. After looking down at the beautiful pool I would love to have more time to spend more time at this property.

Yelp
Very high quality hotel. It has a beautiful view of the arch and the room, bed, lobby, toiletries and service are impeccable. We were only able to get a room for one night because of the holiday weekend but it was perfect. The pool was amazing along with the poolside service. Highly recommend! The casino is quite.... smoky.... and they should change the ventilation down there but we barely walked thru that area. Another awesome thing about this hotel is that the whole darn place smells like a high class spa! It's worth it. Soooo worth it.

Yelp
This hotel is the hotel that made me fall in love with luxury. Clean, bright, gorgeous views of the St. Louis Arch. Attentive staff, front desk and valet. Housekeeping made me feel special by not only doing an exceptional job cleaning the room, but they left many personal touches. I had Four Seasons glasses cleaning cloths for my glasses and Four Seasons bookmarks for my books. Toiletries were nice. Bathtub luxuriant. Spa was relaxing and had many different treatments. Beautiful local art on the walls. Amazing rooftop bar and restaurant. Will always return here while in St. Louis.

Yelp
I will never stay at Four Seasons again. The Hotel offered discounts for paying in advance, so I paid for 2 nights. When my event was cancelled due to the Coronavirus, the hotel would not refund my payments. I understood the rules when I entered into the deal but St. Louis has declared a Public Health Emergency. These are difficult times but we will get through them. The companies that treat you right during these times will deserve my patronage once things go back to normal.

Yelp
Terrible customer service! I have called for guest services several times todays and can never get anyone to pick up the phone after 10min and 20 min wait. It feels like they are not there at all or too short staffed

Yelp
Amazing. Everything about this place was 5 stars. My husband and I are not rich/ritzy people, but damn, the entire team Made us feel like royalty. Such sweet people. The upstairs bar was very pricy, we paid $8+ For a Bloody Mary that we got for $2 next door at the casino. Same glass, same mix, same everything. The rooms were very clean, bed was nice. My husband fell in love with the Keurig so we now own one of our own. He said four seasons had it, so we need one too. It's near the arch, worth the money to stay there. The bathroom had a tv in the mirror. Wish we could go back!!!

Yelp
Went to the casino and one of the restaurants in the hotel. Walking in the glass doors were horribly smudged and dirty. Not just one, all of them as were the mirrored elevator doors. The floors were dirty throughout especially in the halls and restrooms. Dried spills and debris. They had staff standing around at the closed tables since it wasn't too busy. They definitely need to get rid of some dealers and hire more housekeeping staff. Can't imagine what the $400 rooms look like. The $10 mixed drinks in the casino were very small and not very tasty.

Yelp
The worst Four Seasons I've ever stayed in. I get the city is financially in despair but the class and service shouldn't. We checked in at 3am to some of the foulest smell ever. We changed rooms nearly 3x and settled for slightly 'less' smell. The rooms did manage to get better. The restaurant was average. All in all - average. Go stay on the other side of town at the Ritz. Much more to do and with more life and inspiration.

Yelp
My new goto place to stay in the Lou. Quiet bedrooms, fast internet, clean rooms. Super nice staff that will bend over backwards to help the customer. Free shoe shine every night. 2X a day room cleaning. Really nice workout facility. Very new and light atmosphere and very upscale. Outdoor pool, indoor hot tub and steam room. On site restaurant and bar. Fresh vegetable juice made to order on the menu. AAA all the way!

Yelp
Was it better than a Marriot? Yes. Was it a five-star experience? No. Compared to other Four Seasons hotels, the St. Louis Four Seasons is affordable, and I can't help but wonder if they've lowered the experience to match the price. Or maybe, just maybe, my Four Seasons expectations were set too high. Was our room clean? Yes. It was a gorgeous room. Very spacious with lovely bath products, a killer view of the arch (room 1502, also a corner room), and a comfy bed. Plus, it had a doorbell, which was fun. My only complaint is that the room was loud. We could hear everything our neighbors said which means we were up at 6am (not our usual hour). Was the hotel spotless? No. For example, the room number signs would not pass a white glove test. While this sounds very picky, I expected attention to detail. However, what really killed it for me was service. I'll give five brief examples. 1. I was trying to book rooms for five different women from three different cities who spent weeks coordinating schedules. I made a mistake on one, immediately noticed, and called the Four Seasons within minutes. "Oh you made a mistake? That room's nonrefundable. Sorry." I get it. But we're talking minutes and I was trying to book more rooms. Not cancel. I ended up complaining after this and I was connected with a manager. I will say that she made the stay fabulous. She went above and beyond. I'm so thankful for her. But what if I hadn't complained? If I hadn't, the stay would have been a mess, a one star experience. My expectation was Four Seasons = five-star service. 2. To book five spa treatments, they wanted names attached to specific services and services were not transferable. For example, if I booked a facial for person A but she wanted to swap for the massage booked by person B, too damn bad. I expected the 4S to bend over backward to accommodate guest demands, but again, I had to complain to get this taken care of. 3. The husband's decided to join us for dinner with kids which makes a party of fourteen. We tried to make a reservation at Cielo but apparently we had too many people. They mentioned a private room. Cool. Then they mentioned that said room has a food and drink minimum of $1500 or just over $107 per person. Not terrible until you realize that three of our guests are children. Oh and until you realize that food is $50 per person which means that the eight adults eligible to drink would have to consume $100 worth of alcohol each. I think what I expected was a creative solution. At the spa we saw a cute dining table that sat empty. We could have eaten there. 4. I'm still waiting on the billing department to call me back on a billing issue. I left a message two days ago and called again yesterday. I expected that the 4S's would be properly staffed to handle guest concerns in a timely manner. 5. Finally, I expected pleasant service. Instead, the staff seemed a little put out when we requested things. Overall, the rooms are really lovely and the heated pool is fabulous even on a 40-degree day. The location isn't great and don't expect five-star luxury service. Also, if you want great service, complaining seems to be the way to go.

Yelp
Four Seasons is great value for money. As any traveling salesman would agree, there are only three things that really matter in a hotel--the room, the room service and the bathroom. And this Four Seasons property excels at all three. Four Seasons has ultra-modern rooms, most with direct views of the arch. The room service is fast and the food is far superior to the average restaurant fare in St Louis. And the rain shower and the mirror TV make the bathrooms a great place to be in. Some bonuses--complimentary shoe shine, a great rooftop restaurant, friendly service, rooms at about $100 a night, a free shuttle to select locations, and a casino within very close proximity, Why is it so easy to get a room at this hotel? Yelp
What a train wreck. I travel professionally and have stayed at Four Seasons properties throughout the world. This was by far the worst. I paid premium dollars weeks in advance for an upgraded room facing the arch with floor to ceiling windows. The windows were filthy with some kind of crap smeared on them just above arms reach. It looked great with the sun streaming in on the beautiful sunny winter afternoon. There was no directory of amenities or hotel services, like site restaurants, etc. We wanted to see what options we had for a quick, light breakfast in the morning prior to our departure for the airport. My wife asked at the front desk about it since we find some sort of directory of services at virtually every other lodging throughout even the 3rd world and she was told that they were 'working on it' and 'would have it someday' !!?? I guess nobody has mastered a crayon and xerox machine in that far flung outpost of civilization we call St. Louis. (For shits sake they had a beautiful directory at that bastion of lodging, the St Robert, Mo. Fairfield Inn. That's pretty rural, kids. Maybe the Four Seasons should hire the very effective managers from that better run Fairfield Inn property to consult on hospitality management 101, see more reasons below). The on-site restaurant at the Four Seasons for breakfast is a Must-avoid. We were going to go to use the Peets Coffee outlet we saw signage for in that dingy ashtray of a prison next door that they call a 'casino', but I thought, hell its the last day of our vacation, we're at a Four Seasons, the restaurant doesn't look very busy and it would be such a treat for my wife. I counted 4 servers plus maitre 'd and supporting runners, bussers, etc. restaurant was half full (if that), with most guests finishing their meal. After being seated by said maitre 'd, we waited 15 minutes to get anyone to come by and even offer us coffee, but the maitre 'd did have time to cruise by twice to tell us that something would happen soon. Get a pot, take an order, fool! If the staff is that inept, pitch in! There was only one other table seated in the hour we were there, so he wasn't busy with guests. He just stood at his little podium, looking great. After burning almost an hour for the simplest of mis-executed breakfasts (I'll not go into the botched order, etc.), I went to the room, got luggage and went down to check out. Guess what? The morons at the restaurant (now empty) couldn't be bothered to post the check to the room. The front desk didn't know the phone number to the restaurant and had to walk across the hotel to then get someone to post the check. After about 15 minutes waiting, he comes back and says he couldn't find anyone to do it. I'm now running late for the airport. The front desk said they'd settle up and email me my statement and asked for my email address. You know, that same thing they badger you for at check in? The desk clerk scratched it down on some little pad full of doodles. I still have not received that statement. The valets in parking were the best feature at the property. They were organized, fast and efficient. Maybe they should run the hotel instead of the garage? I think a zoo full of chimps could run things better. At least we could all be amused by the chimps as they hurl feces. Oh, I guess they did. It was all over the windows of my room. Epic Fail. Never Again, not even if Eric Ripert himself left the NYC property and took over that crappy restaurant. In summary, the best part of my experience at the luxurious St. Louis Four Seasons Hotel was seeing it in the rear view mirror of my rental car as we got the hell out of there.

Yelp
My stays at Four Seasons hotels are typically only for really special splurge type of get-aways such as my honeymoon and a post-kid weekend away with my husband. So when I scored a sweet deal at the Four Seasons STL during a recent work trip, I was oh so excited! It was only one night, but it was such a treat... This Four Seasons in the 'Lou delivered on everything you'd expect from such a high end brand name and more. From the friendly service all around, the spacious, immaculate room, the fabulous amenities and products, comfortable bed, quality restaurant (with views of the Arch included), and awesome fitness room to the spa and casino that I hope to experience next visit, this hotel really does offer it all. I only hope to score a similar deal in the future... I could definitely get used to Four Seasons for all of my travels!

Yelp
I had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights when I was in Saint Louis for work a few weeks ago, and I could never imagine staying anywhere else on future trips to the area. I imagine most of this review goes without saying as the hotel more than upholds the standards one would expect from this hotel chain. I was surprised, as were several other Yelpers, to at first see that this hotel was connected to a casino right on the river and it momentarily had me worried that that was the reason we had gotten such a great deal on the rooms. But it was a very quiet, professional business-class hotel. The view of the arch and the river both from the lobby and from my room were to die for. I have uploaded a picture here for you to to see. The room itself was very large and nicely laid out with a modern workspace, a lounge chair, and wet bar. The bed was so comfortable that before I left I actually pulled the sheets off to see what kind of mattress it was. And the bathroom was big and lovely. I only wish I'd had time to relax long enough to enjoy a bath in the enormous tub. We ate dinner here two nights and the food is good, though obviously pricy. The menu had a lot of great offerings and my only complaint would be that both waiters we had each night did not seem well-educated enough about the wine or the food to be offering suggestions. They were helpful, but not knowledgeable about the product. With regard to other services, the valet was extremely efficient and polite which was great because we were often coming and going in a hurry. They learned our names and our vehicle quickly. My only regret is that my visit was in February as I didn't get to try the outdoor pool and hot tub (which were both open) as it would never have crossed my mind to bring my bathing suit to Saint Louis in February. But there were definitely people out there and it looked fantastic!

Yelp
If you're looking for a hotel to stay at in St. Louis, you could definitely do worse than the Four Seasons in town. While one might be a bit hesitant because it's on the same property as a casino, it's pretty well-separated from the Lumiere, making it feel a bit more removed and its own building that is separate from the hubbub and different ambiance the casino can give off. Instead of going left when you hop out of the car and get dropped off in the driveway, go right - and you find yourself in a small lobby with a waterfall streaming down the clear windows and helpful front-desk folks to help you. While the room wasn't ready early, they were prompt in giving me a ring once it was. One downside is that the ground level is only for check-in; there's a sky lobby on the 8th floor that one transfers at to get to the elevator bank for the rooms. While inconvenient, it is another layer that gives the hotel a bit of a remove. The 7th floor has a gym that's pretty well-outfitted (and empty on weeknights, so a good time to work out), along with the spa. The sky lobby has a deck where one can wander out and enjoy views of the Mississippi River, and it has the Cinder House restaurant as well (an adventurous if inconsistent spot to dine, reviewed separately). As for the room itself, I ended up with one facing the river. Regardless of that fact, the ceilings are nice and high, giving the feel of more space. The bed was typical Four Seasons comfort, and while some of the hotels the chain has around the world can feel a bit dated or worn, this came in on the relatively new-feeling side. The bathroom is decked out in marble flooring and has a separate bath and shower, as well as double sinks and plenty of space (this is for a standard room, BTW). Overall, the hotel is pretty solid; it's not as close to downtown St. Louis as some other accommodations are, although the Gateway Arch is still pretty close by. On the flip side, it is right off the highway, making it a straight shot to the airport if you are coming from out of town (under 20 minutes with no traffic). The amenities are the typical high-quality stuff that the Four Seasons usually offers, and it can be hard to beat the views of the Mississippi. Definitely better than my other hotel stays in the past in St. Louis, and I'll likely end up here again in the future.
