"How did it strike you on arrival?Driving up to the property in Las Colinas northwest of Dallas, I'm taken by the Spanish colonial-style architecture and the beautiful grounds. When you're in Dallas proper, it is easy to forget how lovely large stretches of impeccably maintained grass can be. Here that grass is part of two 18-hole golf courses—TPC Four Seasons Las Colinas and Cottonwood Valley. What’s the crowd like?Despite the Four Seasons label, this hotel feel laid back, so you'll find a great mix of people. While sitting in the lobby for any extended amount of time you are likely to see a guys golfing group, a wedding party, and a young family headed to the pool. The good stuff: Tell us about your room.I stayed in a premiere villa suite, which has quite a bit more going on than the entry level rooms, and it was well worth it. There was a lovely living area complete with a fireplace that was perfect for entertaining. There was a full bathroom in addition to a powder room and the large dining table was perfect for enjoying meals as a family. My favorite area was the wraparound terrace and its views of the TPC course. How about the little things, like mini bar, or shower goodies. Was very disappointed with a recent stay. Having been to several Ritz Carlton properties, I feel like this was the lowest of the experiences. My partner and I went for a Valentines getaway but I wish I’d spent it elsewhere. The valet was only staffed with a few people, meaning the line was incredibly long to the front. Surprisingly, despite the rain, none of the valet were ushering around with umbrellas. No one opened a door, and I noticed that for another couple with children, no one offered assistance from the hotel. The front desk staff also had only a few employees working - leaving a long line to check-in. Rooms weren’t ready for most, and ours wasn’t ready until after the check-in time of 4pm. The room was “okay” but very mediocre compared to what you’d expect for the price. It wasn’t that the experience was “awful”, it just was not to the standard the Ritz is expected to maintain. I would liken this to a Holiday Inn express, but with perhaps more fancy marble floors. Overall, service was the main disappointment. I’m unsure if it’s Marriott or just the general management that are to blame for this location, but not a good representation of the ‘Ritz’ brand.

The suite we had was huge with a ton of outdoor space. But it looked like a mid-rate conference hotel. The carpet and furniture were more Holiday Inn than Ritz. Service was hit or miss - the valet, front desk and spa staff were fabulous. I will definitely return for the spa! The Club Level employees were enough to make me want to leave the hotel early. The rude staff checked my name and whether I belonged there, but didn't confirm any single other person. She hovered over me like I was going to steal the silverware. I understand some people are uncomfortable with people with disabilities are mistrustful of service dogs. But my professionally trained, impeccable service dog has literally been used to demonstrate the difference between a service dog and a pet dog. The adult humans made more noise and a bigger mess than my service dog who, by the way, caused several guests to say "I didn't even know there was a dog there" as I got up to leave. The club employee just didn't approve of my medical equipment. Hotel mgmt handled the situation well, working on training for employes on ADA statutes. But it still doesn't make the stay a positive experience when you are treated like a second class citizen due to a disability and the need for medical equipment.

11/8/25: We wanted a staycation and made our reservation at this property, based on our memorable stay in May. I spoke with Noah over the phone, and he arranged our stay at a Villa. When we checked in, we were greeted warmly by the valet staff. The gentleman at the front desk made us feel like valued guests. He explained where the villas were, and provided the option of calling golf carts from our room to assist us when we needed to leave the property. I met Noah after we checked in, and he was very personable and professional. He made our stay very pleasant and memorable. There was a wine tasting in the lobby, which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also appreciated the apple cider station near the main entryway, which was a nice touch. Nahim was one of the golf cart drivers, and he was very friendly and courteous. We actually rode with him on several occasions during our stay, and when we checked out. He went above and beyond in getting us around and helping with our luggage when we checked out. This was a great property and we look forward to staying here again! The customer service at the Ritz is second to none!

The Ritz-Carlton - MacArthur Blvd (Las Collinas) A place that welcomes you as you are. Your arrival begins under the brick-and-glass canopy, where the pace slows and attention centers on you. Doors open, luggage is handled, and greetings are offered with calm sincerity. Nothing feels exaggerated; the welcome is simple and respectful, which makes it memorable. You become their guest of honor. I visited between meetings and worked from the lobby for several hours. I was not an overnight guest, yet the tone never changed. The valet attendant was courteous and attentive, and the interior staff treated my presence as expected rather than incidental. GRAND ENTRANCE: The lobby speaks through proportion instead of decoration. Elegant lighting settles across polished floors and inviting seating. At the center, three floral arrangements provide softness against the architecture. The reception desk sits to the left, where conversations are efficient and kind. Nearby, the Outlaw Bar occupies its own space, close enough for convenience yet separate enough to preserve the quiet character of the space. BAR LOUNGE: Past the foyer, a bar stretches along the rear glass wall with seating for about a dozen guests and additional lounge seating around it. Behind it, a more secluded sitting area overlooks the pool — a space suited for conversation that does not need to compete with the room. CONCIERGE: Located directly to the right of the grand entrance, near the elevators, the concierge desk offers local guidance with clarity and ease, answering any additional questions you may have. CAMPO COFFEE: A small grab-and-go coffee shop sits near the pool entrance and elevator corridor. There is no seating. A 12-ounce coffee costs just over $7; prepared ahead yet smooth and balanced, with complimentary refills. My baristas, Mia and Laura, offered friendly and professional service, making it a reliable stop before stepping out for the day. OVERALL EXPERIENCE: Whether visiting briefly or staying the night, the hotel maintains a steady sense of care. The environment feels refined without distance — a place where elegance is expressed through comfort, and service is noticed most in how naturally it happens.

The service staff all over (except maybe check-in) are great - 10/10. From Valet, to guest requests, to the restaurant staff were thoughtful, proactive, and nice. Really helped make our stay extra enjoyable. But compared to International Ritz locations, this is definitely a whole tier below. Off the top of my head of other Ritz locations I've stayed: Ras Al Khaimah > Bangkok > Maui > Baku > Bangalore >> Dallas, Las Colinas. The American business structure may just not have the same model, so don't expect the same "Resort" feel and you wont be let down. Inaccuracies of amenities: they claimed the pool is heated (the outdoor pool is not) the indoor pool is just a lap pool and its on the property next door (The Nelson Club). Also probably seasonal but there arent towels poolside, have to use room towels then ask for more. Same feeling with the "Kids Club" - its not the normal "Ritz Kids" high quality amenity I expected, instead its next door at The Nelson again and charged hourly (along with a punitive $10 walk-in fee). Again, not terrible, because they technically have childcare but I expected better from the Ritz brand. Stayed in a villa, the fire pit is very nice and easy to use. The room is nice enough, but no 'Wow factor'. Has a good Nespresso machine, lots of free water bottles, high quality soaps and condiments for room service all the basics of a great hotel. Oh and room service has a little buzzer button they leave for you to press when youre ready for them to pick up the tray. So overall, I'd say lower your expectations if you're thinking of other Ritz properties and you won't be disappointed. This is like a Grand Hyatt or similar, which if I expected going in, would have been a 4-5 star review. But the Ritz brand to me is held to the highest standards and this definitely fell short of that "Resort" feel I have felt at other Ritz properties. While considering hotels for this trip I decided not "shop around" and just book the Ritz because I thought I would get the best experience guaranteed. Learned my lesson will shop around next time.

Chose to stay because of Amex FHR checked in at 930pm after landing from MCO. We stayed for about 12 hours and had room service for dinner and breakfast. It was a nice trip for a double room. Service was speedy and attentive and it was a nice resort. It was more of a lowkey stay in resort. I’m not sure of other amenities but may try it out next time. The kids meal was a little sad like the cheese quesadilla or the pasta as I think I will get another option for them because it was plain. Overall had a wonderful stay. They do have self parking or valet parking. Front desk gave the kids yummy cookies and the welcome treat was a nice touch. Thank you again!

My parents got married here back in 2001 when it was still called The Four Seasons, and they always said it was the best experience and wedding they ever had. I stayed here again with my parents in 2011, and even now, with the rebranding to The Ritz, the essence of The Four Seasons' culture is still very much alive. On my most recent visit, the staff were extremely nice and cool, especially when they valet parked our car. The check-in staff were super friendly and accommodating, even allowing our dog to stay with us. The room was super clean and modern, though it didn't have cable, which my old-school parents missed. However, it was manageable since we only stayed for a day. What holds this place back from true greatness is the overwhelming number of children during our stay, which made it feel like a giant, expensive daycare. The pool, in particular, was a disappointment--it was so nasty you could practically smell the pee from a mile away. Despite this, everything else about this hotel is excellent, and without the pool issue, it would definitely be five stars.

Phenomenal is the one word I would use to describe this place. Stayed here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and from the moment I booked it, the customer service was above and beyond my expectations. I called ahead of time to see if they could help me surprise my husband for our anniversary and Aaron was so helpful in getting something to the room before we arrived. Our Villa was spectacular and spacious. Upon arrival, we were greeted promptly and cheerfully by both the valet attendants and the front desk staff. When we arrived to our room, it was clean, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked. The property grounds were gorgeous with an on-site golf course and Sports club (with membership). They have slight renovations happening as Marriott took over this property (previously Four Seasons). Guests have the option to valet or self-park, but it's a bit of a walk for self-parking. However, shuttle carts are available. We had two drivers that were very pleasant during our stay, Nahim & Alex. They were helpful and told us a bit about the property. We also enjoyed a delicious meal at Knife Italian and Victoria, the greeter, was kind enough to take a picture of us. Our server, Bruce, was friendly, attentive, and had great recommendations. We would recommend this place to anyone who wants to be treated like royalty. Wonderful job by the management!

The rooms are fine but this is a hotel in obvious decline. I am staying for two nights and the hotel gym is unavailable. something about staffing problems. staff are pleasant but this is obviously not a four seasons or even close.

Attended for a conference and very impressed with the staff, service, and quality of food. From breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner it was all very fresh, tasty, and good quality. Definitely a step above the usual conference food. Comfortable lecture room and extremely comfortable chairs made all day sessions much more pleasant. Definitely a quality location for business and pleasure.

Sunday afternoon of Dec 22nd and the absolute rudest bartender at the juniper bar at the lobby. Complained about everything and made ordering the over expensive drinks absolutely miserable. It is like this bartender was out to make your entire experience miserable. Also not up to ritz Carlton standards or Marriott - staff is poorly trained and doesn't care and when checking in Marriott/ritz status means nothing in terms of an upgrade or anything for that matter - whereas the ritz downtown is the epitome of status and service honored. This hotel could learn a LOT by another Rtiz Carlton that Is within 15 miles.

We stayed here for Hub's seminar. I stayed in the room or walked the grounds. Tip: Upon arriving ask for a map of the grounds for facilities and paths. A beautiful athletic facility has all kinds of exercise machines, classes and indoor tennis courts. I walked the indoor track above all of these. Outside are tennis and pickleball courts. The tournament golf course is amazing. Hubs enjoyed playing it. The pro shop has a lot of merchandise. Everyone is kind and helpful. The rooms are very nice. The espresso machine was my favorite. The housekeeping staff was thorough, since I saw them every day. The food was delicious. Valet and free parking available.

This is not even up to Marriott standards let alone a Ritz Carlton. The only thing worse than the facade of the building is the service in each of the restaurants. Arrive and order your dinner by 5:00pm if you hope to eat your disappointing, poorly cooked, prison quality meal by 8:00pm. The flourless chocolate cake taste like a dirty sponge and extracted all of the moisture from my body. Ordered the chicken from room service only to find it had been mummified and dated back to the Regan administration. The only thing moving with earnest anywhere near their restaurants or the pool were the roaches. Yes, there were roaches. The rooms are slightly below average at best. I stayed in one of their "villas". It was nice to be away from the main building that resembles an insane asylum from an horror movie. Unfortunately, they resembled the foyer of building that housed my Dentist, Chiropractor and Therapist (who I will now need to see after this painful visit). Please do yourself and the Ritz Carlton brand a favor and avoid this place with everything you have. You would be doing them a favor by expediting the removal of this property from their storied brand. The only positive was the team that checked us in. I hope they find new employment soon.

They are still finishing their renovations. Plus, we arrived the day that a HUGE storm had blown through in the morning. Lots of limbs down, debris, etc. All that is understandable. We definitely had some glitches, and the staff was overwhelmed. But when we expressed our disappointed, the staff went above and beyond to make it up to us. This is exactly what we expect and appreciate from the Ritz. As they are still recovering from the renovations, I recommend you wait until they are fully functional. And then this should be fantastic resort.

I was here last week for a conference. I have also stayed here when it was the Four Seasons so I'm able to compare the two. The property looks much the same as before - the beds are very comfy, showers are great (good flow, hot hot water - though some of my cohort in the villas said they may not have gotten water as hot as they liked) and well appointed roomy rooms. The catering services were pretty good - I'm vegan so there were some things I was pleased with and some things not so much. For example: quinoa isn't a great choice in my opinion because it so easily gets stuck in your teeth which is not something I want at a business function, they surprised at breakfast with an omelette using some kind of vegan egg (didn't taste like a Just Egg but maybe something made in house which was a nice touch), they even had a delicious vegan dessert one night (though just the one night). Overall the meals were hit or miss so I think there's room for improvement there. Service, though, was great - anytime I had to find someone to ask about a vegan option, they were very helpful. Service in the lobby bar is very good as well. The Outlaw bar is also a fun place. I don't know how they make their French fries but they're clearly sprinkled in fairy magic because they're the best damn fries I've ever had in my life. The pool is still under construction so the view from my window wasn't great (though the night skyline view is nice) but hopefully they have it finished by summer. I think the spa is also closed right now.

On hold for 10 minutes with a resort-seriously? I just had one question. Is your spa open? Called from a different phone. "Can I put you on a brief hold?" No! A brief hold is not 10 minutes and then he was rude to me for being bothered that I want to book three nights and spa but he is tooooo busy with people checking in. I have a $250 spa gift card. Are you going to even honor it? I cant ask the reservation desk because bless their hearts too busy and not enough help and they probably are not sure any way. I get being understaffed and overwhelmed but rude and poor attitude is not the Ritz Carlton way Or maybe it is now. So sad!
