Great laid back atmosphere with some tasty beers. We rented out the room next to the main room for an event at a very reasonable price. We were allowed to bring in our own catered food as well. Easily fit the 75 people we had. Good times had by all! Also parking along the front as well as around back was easy to find.

What a great spot to come have a beer! Delicious brews (try the Pilsner!) and the raspberry hard seltzer is the best selling hard seltzer at Disney so of course we had to try it!! Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable and made our visit absolutely perfect! We will be back! Also - come see Jeff! He’s an excellent conversationalist!

I was just there over the weekend in the barrel room for a private event and had a really good time! The pizza flat breads were good, but the churros were outstanding! I also enjoyed the variety of beers!

Beer here is wicked. Don’t love the taste of beer - get the Vacay. Love beer? Get anything else. Cool vibes, nice sun and shade spots available, chill staff.

Saturday afternoon, place was packed and had great energy and vibe. Live band outside. Good place to chill out on a weekend afternoon.

I threw my parents a surprise 25th wedding anniversary at the Four Sons Barrel Room and it was the easiest party ever! Duke was so accommodating and very quick with his email responses. We had such a great time and I loved that the brewery was just a few feet away for any guests that wanted a drink. The staff allowed us to come in a few hours before the party to set up, and were very courteous throughout the evening. I had a few guests already wanting to rent the space for their own party! Thank you Four Sons Brewing for showing great hospitality and customer service to us.

Came in with some friends on a Thursday night, and the bartender seemed to be either frustrated or just had a bad attitude. I asked a question about what they had available and he looked at me like I was stupid, then turned to point at the wall. I didn't have my glasses on so I wasn't sure what he was trying to tell me. My friend let me know and then I asked the bartender a follow up question about one of the beers, and he looked at me like I was stupid again, then said the description was up on the wall. I said fine, just give me 'x'. I don't like hoppy beers, especially IPAs, so I was trying to confirm with the bartender prior to buying a beer. I ended up with a stout which wasn't that great.

Google
Our favorite local brewery. With a changing and creative menu of brew, food trucks to feed the hords and a casual dog friendly atmosphere, 4 Sons has it going on. Did I mention small batch spirits and special events 😏 I just did.

Yelp
We hosted our 20-year high school reunion at four sons in the barrel room this summer. Room capacity is for 75 and we probably had 80-85 attendees. The room looked packed but luckily opens up in the back and you can go outside to the patio. Place is easy to decorate. We brought in our own flowers, light and picture strings and ordered food/catering directly through them (tacos/sliders). We were able to sync up our playlists and even put our senior dvd on the tv. We had a little photo shoot area in front of the restrooms. We paid a little extra for a bartender on our event day. Overall, this is a great, fun, casual atmosphere for an event. They were all responsive to our emails/requests and easy to work with! Everyone who attended had a great time! Please book them for your next high school reunion!

Yelp
Checked out Four Sons and had a pretty good time overall. Beers were decent -- a solid lineup. Food was also decent, good enough to pair with a pint or two. Plenty of parking made it super convenient, and while the overall vibes inside were just okay, the outdoor patio really stood out -- definitely the highlight. Chill atmosphere out there made it easy to kick back and enjoy. Would come back, especially for that patio vibe!

Yelp
Been coming here for over a decade.. not sure why I have not made a review. Know the family- great spot. Family friendly, decent parking. Plenty of outdoor space.. dog friendly! This spot used to have a food truck outside but now they have a kick ass kitchen inside the brewery called alpine haus. Great food and great beer. Even better people. They have a ton of seltzers and or ciders options usually if beer isn't your thing.. even have some wine. There is parking across the street and in the back and along the side of this spot.. this is an industrial kind of business park. It's a brewery. They have booth seating and or high top bar seating. They also have a bar with bar service. You get in line, order and they will deliver the food to your table whether you are inside or outside. They have two bathrooms and a second like separate side to the brewery which you can rent out for private parties and or events. Cheers. See yall soon.

Yelp
Chill brewery in HB. The staff is friendly. They have great beers and the food is excellent. Lots of TV's if you are trying to catch a game. It's not huge inside but I know they have a space you can rent out for private events as well as an outdoor area. Sometimes there is a food truck outside with great tacos. Go check it out and grab a beer or 3. And remember to tip your bartenders. Cheers.

Yelp
Okay brewpub, great location...beers were just average to me, IPA needs some work.... small interior but great location on Main and Orange...service was "okay", ambiance was fine as well, very busy on this day as the 4th parade had just ended....has potential for sure...Recommend

Yelp
Just tried the Aussie pale ale: it was amazing! Very clean taste with a distinctive kick at the end. Authentic to what I have had from the South Pacific. Service was good, bar tender was down to earth and had some good recommendations. Well done!

Yelp
It's Four Sons! Beer is really damn good and had a bacon appetizer thing where it was just fried bacon. The bacon's ok, but it did go well with the beers I ordered.

Yelp
1. I'm from the Bay Area and have a pretty annoyingly strong taste for good food. 2. I live in San Diego and the food here is really horrible. Fish tacos, great, burgers, ok, mexican food, oddly just average+ This place blew me away. I'm not a big beer man. What blew me away was the family friendliness and the FOOD quality. The food quality was out freaking standing. I love chicken picante, but chicken picante pasta? Seriously? At a beer place? My mind was blown. The pasta was so creamy, the chicken was perfectly cooked, tons of capers, tons of lemon, it was perfection. Apart from the food the restaurant is pretty nice. Video games + gaming machines for kids, decent bathrooms, all pretty quality given its newport beach. I am a big big fan. Hope to come back soon.

Yelp
We had a venue canceled on us a few days before the birthday surprise event but Duke, the owner, was able to accommodate us a private section of the brewery. The process was so quick and easy within a few hours of emailing back and forth. We reserved the Barrel room for around 60 people. Before the event, Duke introduced himself and gave us the room run down. We had a closed off section with two private televisions, a private speaker (bluetooth) and a private bartender. There was enough room for everyone to roam or sit. We also had access outside so the breeze kept everyone cool and a quick walk to the car. Our private bartender OH MY GOSH was amazing and super friendly. My guests were very happy with our bartender and he made sure everyone was having a good time. He was quick and swift with going around checking up on our guests. We definitely will book this spot again for mother birthday in the future!!

Yelp
One of my favorite places in Huntington Beach it feels like you really part of the community when you step inside simple ordering process great beers and seltzers

Yelp
Great little corner vibe here. Great choices of beer and seltzer and some little finger foods. Perfect location to watch the main drag!

Yelp
We showed up on Sunday about an hour and a half before closing time. It's kind of a hole in the wall as it's literally in a light industrial building. But they brew their own tasty beer and have decent food considering the location. The only downside was we felt very rushed as it was obvious that the staff was very serious about their 7 PM closing time as they started stacking tables and chairs promptly at 6 PM. This was very off-putting as we really felt rushed and there was a group of people who came in at 6 and had no where to sit and was told they could only order a single beer. Had we felt less rushed, I would have given this a higher rating. After all, it's very kid friendly and they even make their own root beer.

Yelp
What a gem! 4 Sons Barrel Room was the perfect venue for my husband's 40th birthday. It was very easy to reserve and Duke was wonderful to work with! We had 45 people comfortably in the private room and we did the taco bar through their catering. The food was really good and we brought our own cupcakes for dessert. We had a private bartender and Tony was AMAZING. We were able to come 30-45min early to set up and decorate. I would absolutely book this venue for another event. Idk that I could ask for more.

Yelp

Yelp
Good beers, great staff, good food. We recently had our daughter's baby shower here. Staff was great and the food was also very good. Ambiance was excellent!

Yelp
I like that there's something for everyone. It's a smaller space but they also have a kitchen which is great when you get hungry from all the drinking. Enough seats inside and outside as well. Everyone was nice.

Yelp
We went to this establishment as guests of the future bride and groom on their celebration of engagement. The facility was nice but out in a remote location. If we did not have gps it would have been a challenge to find. We were situated in a back room which the bride and family had decorated to the nines. The Mexican food that was available was nice and the beer (IMO) a bit steeply priced.

Yelp
Impossible burger option to substitute on any burger is a game changer. Thank you for providing vegetarian options!

Yelp
One of the best chili breweries we've been too! the service was quick and the outside was chill. We enjoyed hanging out by the river

Yelp
Four Sons has something for everyone. Friendly staff and love the dog friendly turf patio. Selection of beers & seltzers Pint of bacon

Yelp
Great burgers and fairly good selection of beers. The location is in an industrial warehouse complex but they have plenty of seating including outdoors with shade.

Yelp
Small brewery, love the fruit punch seltzer really cool they had a pop up tent which makes it more fun.
google avatar

Yelp
Other than having good beer. Smartest thing they recently did was add food! And actually, the Philly and chicken strips were pretty good.

Haley W.

Yelp
Absolutely love this place which is very contradictory to what I'm about to say. The woman employee on 4/17 was the rudest woman I have encountered in quite a while. She rolled her eyes at me before I had even ordered. She snatched my ID from my hand (I'm 21 and was with my mom) and was snappy with every response. Literally had to leave we felt so disrespected and unwanted. Do better please!

Yelp
Fun looking brewery in an industrial area of HB, have lots of types of beer on tap, beers were all very good! Would come back again for happy hour to try the food
google avatar

Alfred R.

Yelp
Stoped in during the late afternoon on a Friday just to wet my whistle and wait for traffic to die down a bit. The place wasn't very crowded, 3 other people and I. I was in the mood for a Sour, luckily for me they had one on tap and it was happy hour . This a very clean and nice establishment, the service was excellent, friendly people and very pleasant. I did have the sweet potato waffle fries, delicious! I would recommend this place for anyone to enjoy, I will be coming back with friends or by myself in the near future.

Yelp
Only been here once and had one beer. It's ok. We were here for the Cousins Lobster truck, but that got shut down and had to move, so we had ourselves a beer. The HB lager. Pretty good. They have an outside seating area under EZ-ups and a decently sized inside area to sit. Looks like a good variety of beers on tap. From what we heard, they have food trucks that are regularly on site. Hence, the lobster truck that we thought was gonna be here. Anyway, we had our beer and went across the street for the lobster. If you're into local beers, give it a go. Not bad.

Yelp
My sister held the wedding reception for her son at The Barrel Room. Duke, the owner, was easy to with. He was accommodating, pleasant, and patient! On the day of the event, the room was ready for us to decorate and even helped us reach spots we couldn't! His staff was friendly as they poured the different drinks to our guests and even made suggestions! Four Sons is my son's favorite brewery and using it for an event for 70 was his brilliant idea!

Yelp
The wings was delicious! Drinks was yummy! Nice indoor and outdoor seatings. Not a lot of TVs to watch sports though.
google avatar

Eric P.

Yelp
I've always had a hit or miss experience with the beers here especially since we are spoiled with some really good breweries in HB, but I've definitely seen an improvement here. I like the addition of the outside area because seating was always an issue here. The bartenders are also quick, which I think is good for how busy this place gets. Overall I probably wouldn't regularly come here but it's a good place to hang out at and have a beer.

Yelp
Visited Four Sons Brewing on Monday afternoon. A smaller brewery that is dedicated towards playing with different beer styles and adding new elements to typical flavors. Quality: Four Sons Brewing had the all-around best beers I tried during my recent California trip. During my visit I had sips of Julius Who?, an orange creamsicle ale, O'Sonset, an Irish red, CocoNutorious, a coconut amber, King Coco, an imperial coco, Land of Hopportunity, a blood orange IPA, and To Grandmother's House We Go, an oatmeal raisin cookie Belgian ale. A fun mix of unique flavors, and none proved too overwhelming. I appreciated the creativity and the diversity of styles. Quantity: Most beers come in three sizes 5oz, 8oz, or 16oz. Value: $5-$8 for Draft Beers. Ambiance: Four Sons Brewing is located in an industrial area of Huntington Beach. The brewery is in a garage-like space. The equipment is mixed up with the bar area. There is also a small space dedicated to pinball machines. Outside they had some additional seating, and it was helpful to keep some of the dogs separated. The walls had a few televisions and industrial rock music played over the speakers. Crowd: Pretty busy, most of the seats inside were filled. Service: One guy running the show on Monday, but he kept things moving. Parking: Small shared parking lot.

Yelp
I always order the light beer, American Lager. It's delicious. Got their wings crispy with sauce on the side. It's amazing. Their funnel cake, crispy, is heavenly tasty. Most importantly, customer service is fantastic. A+++. Thank you to the 4 sons. They are super friendly. Highly recommended!!!

Yelp
We hosted a 30th birthday here. We were definitely not pleased. The room is separate from the main brewery which was nice, but that was about all that was worth it. The service and food were just some of the reasons hosting at Four Sons was far from excellent. Prior to hosting our event we came to the brewery and tried some of the food. We had the sliders, which had grilled onions, plenty of meat, and sauces. So we decided to order catering for our event, and got the sliders. half of them had less than an ounce of meat and the cheese was not even melted. Just two solid pieces of cheese thrown on top of the smallest amount of meat? It was gross. They provided guests with ketchup, and that was all. We ended up with trays of sliders left over because they were that bad. The fries were hard like they had been sitting out prior to being brought to us. Several guests also said the seltzers were borderline flat. As far as the service, we met Duke when we we stopped in to try the food prior to our event and were told there would be a bartender there serving our party drinks. We arrived and there was no bartender, and everyone had to go to the other room to order drinks. We also asked if it was a possibility to order more food, to which we were rudely told "no you should've called before to do that." Im not sure why a business would turn down more money? We could barely find anyone to refill the sauces or food, they just came out when they wanted to refill the food and never asked if we needed anything, and they made it impossible to find someone to help when we did. We paid a $300 room fee and were promised things we never got, in addition to paying WAY more than we should have for the food quality that we received. Would not recommend hosting a party here as they make you pay significantly more than they should for the quality of service and food they provide.

Yelp
Good outdoor space with a good selection of beer. But the food trucks that serve the brewery are okay at best. There's also a very short list of non-alcoholic drinks if you're here with friends that don't drink.
google avatar

Rick B.

Yelp
A friend of mine brought me here while we were out finding car parts. Great food and beer of course. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Great family owned brewery located in hb on gothard and Ellis. I've been driving pass this place ever since I lived near by or drove to the beach. This brewery is in a warehouse area. Parking can be found on the other side since they've outdoor seating with tents for those wanting to relax and get fresh air. On the inside, you'll notice seating and a bar top. Pretty simple but the beers and flavors were good and the ambiance was chill. It's cool to see all the metal beer tins showing how it's produced. Service was friendly and I got to try a few samples to see which I enjoyed most. They also have another location on main street.
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Four Sons was a last minute stop while visiting Huntington Beach. The vibe inside was okay, but we preferred to be outside in their shade. The employee who poured our beers did not go out of their way to greet us or talk to us. It was not as welcoming as I prefer. The beer we drank was their strawberry beer. It was a sweet strawberry beer that was sweet in the beginning and then had a spicy finish. It was unique and tasted good! Our visit was brief and only for this one beer. It's worth stopping by if you're looking for some beers to try!
google avatar

Steve B.

Yelp
Out of the way, hidden gem in Huntington Beach, Four hits the mark in terms of beer, selection, and ambience if you are into the microbrew-in-a-warehouse vibe. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. Construction is happening currently but not getting n the way no the place was sparkling clean. Very good pizza from the truck in back also! I'm jealous of those who can call Four Sons their usual place.
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
We came here around 5pm on a Thursday. Friendly staff. We got to sample some beers before we commited to pints. There's plenty of outdoor and indoor seatings. Outdoors looked like it was tented on 1 long side and 2 short sides. We sat indoors but the brewery seems very aired out. We still kept our masks on except to take a sip.
google avatar

Robert B.

Yelp
Boys night to check it out. Seemed like very nice crowd, we enjoyed it and the MB's! The boys so much that they hit the other location today.
google avatar

Don L.

Yelp
I've been to this place three times. The first time I was kicked out because it was a company party. I was treated as if I was an annoyance as a customer. I thought this was a one off so as usual I will give the benefit of the doubt. The next two times I arrived it was closed on the times in which they are open but the doors are locked. I don't recommend this place if you are a potential customer because of the inconsistency of the opening times plus not being treated well the first time around. If this is how they do it then I'm sure their beer is of the same quality. Good luck if you ever decide to visit.
google avatar

AJ T.

Yelp
first and foremost the beer is delicious. very open and inviting indoor / outdoor space. Free internet!! I will be back.

Yelp
The times are different. This review is different. I could go to my local grocery store (face mask and all) to buy beer. But why not support a local craft brewery? I filtered my brewery search for those with good stouts. It may not be popular among the IPA fanatics but I like what I like. Four Sons is a great little brewery in Huntington Beach. They have three stouts available but only two of them available for growlers (64oz). The Frothy the Snowman is the one I got. Nice coffee flavor but not too strong with a slight sweetness to it too. Four Sons has delivery and curbside pickup available for anyone looking for their fix of a good quality beer. You can schedule a day and time for your delivery. There is a $25 minimum for deliveries. You can also do curbside pickup. All orders must be done online through their website. There's no minimum purchase amount on pickup orders. If you do pickup your order will be ready in 15 minutes after your order has been submitted online. I have uploaded photos of their online ordering process. A few pointers. It's easier to make the online order via your desktop or laptop because the site is optimized for full screens. If you do use your mobile device to make the order it is a little harder to see some of the available options. For instance, whenever I added something to my cart the bottom left indicted that I needed to make a minimum order of $25. I tried looking on the top menu bar to change to a pick up order which wouldn't require a minimum purchase but it wasn't there. If you're on your phone and want to change to a pick up order you must tap the cart at the lower left side. This will give you a prompt to have it delivered or pickup. If you want to make a quick order complete your order as a guest. I tried to link to my Facebook account so that if I make another order my info's saved but...then I couldn't remember my Facebook credentials. And you know how that goes. Knowing what I know now, this online ordering process is so much easier. Your beer is ready within 15 minutes. You walk over to the roll up door on the side of the building and you're on your way. They're doing a great offer right now 4 crowlers (32oz) for $40. One growler (64oz) is $24, so if you can go through the beer pretty quickly this deal may be screaming your name. Support your local brewery and enjoy some great craft beers!

Yelp
Great service and nice chill bar area to enjoy a nice selection of brews on tap. Would love to see those food trucks roll in more consistently all week long. But Tony is the man and keeps us coming back!

Yelp
I love Four Sons Brewing!! They have phenomenal craft beers, outstanding customer service and provides a very chill and laid-back environment. Plus they consistently have these awesome food trucks outside if you wanna go grab a snack. Great family owned business

Yelp
Great local spot for cold craft beers. Good selection of all kinds of beer to satisfy your beer needs. Definitely recommend this brewery and will be going back for more.

Yelp
this is a review for the speakeasy 400 club, though the taproom is great! Leslie is amazing and we really are excited for a Valentines Day menu. The service is spot on and the drinks are super creative and we love talking to the folks working the bar as fellow mixologists My wife's birthday is right after Valentines so I would LOVE an opportunity to bring her out for a special cocktail evening!!!

Yelp
When I think of HB, Four Sons is the brewery that comes to mind. I feel like they're a staple of the city. If you live here, you better check out Four Sons. I'm surprised I haven't reviewed them because I first came here when they first opened sometime in 2014 I believe. On this particular visit I came on Super Bowl Sunday. If you are concerned with social distancing, I would not come here. It was pretty packed with a long line to order and large groups at tables close to each other under their tent. It could just have been the day we chose to come though. They do have tv's under the tent which was cool, and food trucks on site. I decided not to mess around and go straight for the Zeal of the Day, a New Zealand Double IPA at 8.8%. I really enjoyed it. They even have some at higher percentages like The Great One Imperial IPA at 9.9%. Although I don't feel there have been any "must-have's" for me, Four Sons makes some solid beers overall. They're a relatively small joint, located in the industrial auto park area.
