Visited Four Sons Brewing on Monday afternoon. A smaller brewery that is dedicated towards playing with different beer styles and adding new elements to typical flavors.
Quality: Four Sons Brewing had the all-around best beers I tried during my recent California trip. During my visit I had sips of Julius Who?, an orange creamsicle ale, O'Sonset, an Irish red, CocoNutorious, a coconut amber, King Coco, an imperial coco, Land of Hopportunity, a blood orange IPA, and To Grandmother's House We Go, an oatmeal raisin cookie Belgian ale. A fun mix of unique flavors, and none proved too overwhelming. I appreciated the creativity and the diversity of styles.
Quantity: Most beers come in three sizes 5oz, 8oz, or 16oz.
Value: $5-$8 for Draft Beers.
Ambiance: Four Sons Brewing is located in an industrial area of Huntington Beach. The brewery is in a garage-like space. The equipment is mixed up with the bar area. There is also a small space dedicated to pinball machines. Outside they had some additional seating, and it was helpful to keep some of the dogs separated. The walls had a few televisions and industrial rock music played over the speakers.
Crowd: Pretty busy, most of the seats inside were filled.
Service: One guy running the show on Monday, but he kept things moving.
Parking: Small shared parking lot.
