I recently had the pleasure of enjoying a meal from Fowl Play, located on Crenshaw in Los Angeles, and I am thrilled to share my five-star experience. The Dixie Dynamite tenders, paired with the explosive taste of Boom Boom sauce, were a culinary delight that tantalized my taste buds. Alongside, the macaroni cheese offered a comforting, creamy texture that perfectly complemented the spiciness of the tenders. Having ordered from Fowl Play five times in the past month through GrubHub, I can confidently say their food consistently exceeds expectations. Even my dad, who has a discerning palate, mentioned it was one of the best meals he's enjoyed in a long while. The service was impeccable, with each order arriving hot and timely, demonstrating their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. Fowl Play on Crenshaw has not only become a favorite of mine but also a culinary gem in Los Angeles worth every recommendation. OMG *incredible* chicken!!!! And waffles! Me and the crew were constantly saying wow at every sauce and side we tried. The thanksgiving stuffing waffle??? BRILLIANT. The chicken strips are literally perfect, they’re exactly what I’m always looking for. Corn ribs??? I love them. So happy to have a new lunch place so easy to pop by, and the woman there was super nice. Thanks for the great lunch I’ll be back often!

Can't believe I'm saying this, especially given where the store is located....but the chicken was unseasoned , the waffle had no taste. The wings I ordered were old. Disappointed 😞 I was excited when I first came across this restaurant on uber eats and immediately ordered for the fam....but yeah 🙃

The food is on point! Chicken is spicy. Mac & cheese is impossibly smooth and creamy. I just had my second meal from there. Szechuan chicken is no joke!

Ubereats for lunch at FOWL play- I love it!! Did you hear me say I love it!! Fowl PLAY takes chicken wings to the MAX!! The Whole D*** Wings--breaded, flavorful, appetizing, mouthwatering chicken wings that come with your choice of dipping sauce- I got the corn ribs, cooked perfectly, cut into chunks and well seasoned. I could eat the corn ribs alone without any bread or meat!! The Kickin' Comfort cornbread - it's kickin', comfortable, sweet and savory!!! This jalapeño and cheese waffle is one of kind and I have never tasted anything like it!! Bits of green jalapeño, cheddar cheese and the memorable taste of cornbread. The food comes with a cup of bread and butter pickles, a lollipop, butter and syrup!! Will definitely be ordering again!!

TERRIBLE! We had a large dinner order from this restaurant that was suddenly cancelled. That's too bad- we would have used this (unreliable) establishment for our company meals, but they just lost their business. I will recommend everyone I know not to go here.

Pretty good ghost kitchen. They have a lot of different chicken options like a chicken waffle sandwich or chicken wrap. Several different dips you can choose from. I loved the corn ribs. So juicy and delicious. White bbq sauce was interesting.

LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT! Very interesting concept of having a building that's just a bunch of restaurants that are only available for pickup. But it works. I love the food from Fowl Play. They have the basics (plain chicken and waffles), but they also have twists to those concepts as well. You MUST try the cornbread waffle. Probably the BEST side I've had in years. Quality of the food is great! No complaints. And I love the staff. They're always so friendly and delighted to see you. I'm definitely going to keep coming back. The absolute best part of this building is that if I want several different types of food in one meal, I don't need to go to different places. If I want Thai, and the wife wants chicken and waffles, but the kids want pizza, guess what, all in the same building. AMAZING!

We got lots of stuff! The sichuan chicken flavor was great spiciness! Loveddd the captain crunch chicken. 100% recommend. The Nashville flavor was also amazing, I'm not sure if they offer ranch but I had a little at home and found that ranch made it 10x better! So highly recommend the Nashville! The waffles are so good! They aren't traditional thick and fluffy, but the jalapeño cornbread one was so good and smelled amazing too! The kids loved the chicken tenders even just plain. their breading recipe is 100%%%% It is so crunchy I had to drive 30/40 minutes home and it was STILL crunchy (usually most fried chickens get soggy!) Even the next day it was still crunchy after reheating!! The Mac and cheese, unique flavor you can't get elsewhere. Lastly. If you only get one thing. The corn. That's it. Do it. And eat it right away. Don't wait for it to not be fried anymore. Eat it immediately! Highly recommend you try it out!

The pictures made it look super good... but after I ordered a cool 50$ish amount of food, I was nothing but disappointed. Ghost Kitchens are real and they're terrible. The sauces were super disappointing too. Tbh if I could get a refund I would. It was so bad I had to give it my first yelp rating ever .

This hip edgy cafe is one of the best I've been in in LA in years. Highly recommended

Really enjoyed this place and so did my picky kids. The grown-ups got the spicier wings while the kiddos got plain fried tenders. No greasy and with flavors that aren't over powering. We live about 40 minutes away and will be stopping by anytime we are in the area. It's our new addiction and all the chicken is halal!

The wings were great. Large and very crunchy. I didn't know what sauce to pick. I ordered through Grubhub and there is no explanation on the menu. So I randomly chose the awesome sauce. It wasn't. It would be great if they explained the sauces. Even better if they had a soy garlic sauce. I didn't like the Mac n cheese. Corn ribs were good.

Amazing fried chicken and waffles. Something different from other fried chicken places around here. They also got some awesome Cap'n Crunch tenders that make you never want to stop eating it (especially with its Crack dipping sauce)

The food is absolutely amazing! The wafflewich was great, the Turkey day stuffing waffle was awesome! Portions were not skimping.

This place is bomb... just got the Chicken Tenders meal, BBQ and Ranch dressing was on point. Definitely a spot you all should check out
