I placed an online order. It hasn’t arrived. I contacted the company, and they quickly responded and overnighted a new package. Their chocolate is always amazing.

After tasting dark chocolate pecan clusters thru my girlfriend’s daughter’s fundraiser I knew I had to find this place myself. My favorite chocolates. It’s expensive but so delicious and there is so much goodies to chose from, who doesn’t like options😉. Ample parking in this plaza and wheelchair access as well.

Went in looking for sponge candy, left with that and much more. Really delicious and fun items. I got buffalo shaped chocolates. The salted caramel was divine.

Fowler's is the BEST! Not only are their chocolates fresh, creamy and absolutely delicious, they're packaged beautifully for gift-giving. Their customer service is above and beyond! And I love that they are a Buffalo tradition and a long-standing, successful, locally-owned (family?) business! Thank you, Fowler's! Keep that chocolate coming! ;o)

Thank you so much for not messing with your chocolate recipe!! Platter’s has done something to theirs and I stopped buying their sponge candy because the chocolate tastes like wax. Please don’t ever change! Your chocolate is so melty and tasty!

So disappointed. We've been buying your sponge for years and it was excellent. Yesterday I bought a lb to support feedmorewny and when I opened the 1st bag 5 pieces were just a chocolate shell with a little orange sticky ball of something. I'm afraid to open the next bag.

I just received a gift of chocolates and popcorn from a friend, Kathy, from Buffalo. I live in SC and totally enjoying the chocolate fest. I’m originally from Rochester. I love all things from western NY; Nances mustard, Zwiegles hots and now Fowlers Chocolates! Thanks for a great product. I’ll be shopping with you in the future. Meg from Williamston, SC

Yelp
Fowler's Chocolate resumed their annual factory tour. The first since covid. It was so much fun walking through the factory, watching the various parts of the candy making process, and talking to the friendly employees who seemed very eager to tell you about the process. Don't forget to put on your hairnet before you start. This is an actual eorking favtory. The best part, all the yummy free chocolate samples along the way! Also, at this event was former Buffalo Bills player, NFL Hall of Famer, Andre Reed. Process from this event went to the Reed with Reed Foundation Last stop, the retail store within the factory. So hard to decide what to get! Fowler chocolate are so creamy good. Dont tell anyone, but I'm not a sponge candy fan but did pick up a box of assorted candies and some chocolate turkeys for Thanksgiving. Nice bonus, 10% off all purchases. 2023-113

Yelp
We went to the factory tour this year and got to meet Andre Reed. All the employees we met were extremely friendly and happy to talk and answer questions!

Yelp
2019 FACTORY TOUR A HUGE HIT (BOTH TO INSULIN LEVELS AND DELIGHT LEVELS, THE SAME) I took the annual tour with the fam for $5 a person. Included in it was as much chocolate as a man could fit in his gullet, as well as an introduction into the mastery of Fowler's chocolate candy carving methodology. Did you know that just about all Fowler's chocolate candies are painstakingly made by hand? That's right, they are. That's not to say there isn't a good ammount of conveyor belts and other machines working on them as well, but all those coconut clusters, peanut butter truffles and yes, even the beloved sponge candy is hand-crafted to perfection! I watched the staff on hand mix, bake, form and even saw the sponge candy "sponges" into cubes, then chocolate coating on the conveyor belt before a personal inspection of each one. Unfortunately, pictures were forbidden on the tour, with the penalty being a beautiful melody being sung to you as the Oompa Loompas whisk you off the premises while you wistfully watch the mounds of chocolate pile up knowing you'll eat them nevermore, or at least during the factory tour. With that being said, I don't have much demonstrative evidence to prove to you what I witnessed going on during the tour, but take my more word for it, it was nothing short of magical. They even have "Golden Ticket" winners that win a year's supple of chocolate! I didn't win, but all is well that ends well, I suppose. I wouldn't have lasted a full year to enjoy the full benefit if Fowler's didn't also throw in a triple bypass surgery and a ventilator.

Yelp
Go here for the annual tour, you won't be disappointed!! $5 donation for Boys & Girls Club gets you unlimited samples and an insiders look at the factory. You might even win a year's supply of chocolate! They don't make places like this anymore.

Yelp
Great chocolate sponge candy. Definitely worth the trip and a great gift if you are visiting the area. It would be 5 Stars but allowing only one customer at a time is a pretty harsh policy even with COVID restrictions.

Yelp
National Sponge Candy Day! Covid put the kibosh on tours this year, but Fowler's is still going strong, still employing people at the factory and shops, and put out a tasty special collection this year. Glad to see many local businesses have survived so far. Western New York has a great chocolate scene with many local chocolate and ice cream shops. Fowler's is over 100 years old and was founded in Buffalo. Nice people at all the shops, too.

Yelp
Great chocolate. Better than See's. Come in fruit 'n nut or Light 'n dark or mixed. It is all good and wonderful.

Yelp
So this is the factory location. I had no idea that the factory has a store in it! You can even peek into the factory if you're in the store. I did the factory tour yesterday. I didn't know this was even thing until my mom told me about it and then I saw it on social media. For one weekend only, you could purchase a ticket for a walking tour of the factory. Proceeds from the tour were donated to a local charity. As you followed a path around the factory and saw how they made their products, they kept handing you samples. It was amazing and delicious. This location is a hidden gem. You can purchase chocolate and see their factory all in one stop!

Yelp
I ordered candy from Atlanta, GA to be sent Priority Mail to a special relative in Orchard Park, NY as a birthday present. To my surprise the USPS sent the package to Rochester, NY and per tracking listed it would not be delivered until five days later. I called a message / emailed a message to Fowlers asking for help getting the candy there sooner. The candy was delivered the next morning & my relative was delighted with the tasty chocolates. I'm very pleased with the customer service and the quality of chocolates!

Yelp
Fowler's sponge candy is the absolute best! I have lived in California for over 30 years, and I rely on online ordering for gifts for family and friends. Most people on the West Coast have never tasted it, and I love to hear their reactions when they try it. My daughter was married last week, and I ordered beautiful gift boxes for her wedding favors. They were exquisite; my only caution is to advise you to be aware of weather conditions. We had a heat wave of over 100 degree weather, so you must keep the chocolate refrigerated in order to enjoy it at its best. Sheri Burns assisted me in the ordering process; she was amazing and a true representative of the hospitality of Buffalo. Thank you very much for all of your help.
