Atlanta Restaurants With Activities, Games, & Eatertainment - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Fowling is a new-ish game that involves chucking footballs at bowling pins. And the Upper Westside's Fowling Warehouse has plenty of lanes to practice your spiral. The full bar with typical pub food like tasty lemon pepper wings and get-the-job-done pizza make it easy to grab some solid bites in between games. And if anyone in the group would rather leave the actual football tossing to the Falcons, there are plenty of TVs to soak up whatever sporting event is on." - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford, jacinta howard

Where To Eat & Watch Football If You're Not a Falcons Fan - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"No, that’s not a tornado siren you’re hearing as you park outside of this Westside spot. It’s a Gjallarhorn being blown by a dude in full Viking regalia. On game days, an ocean of purple- and yellow-clad Vikings fans crowd the area around the bar, where a handful of giant TVs cover the walls. The hype man with the horn also bangs a drum on every Vikings first down as the crowd enthusiastically chants “skol” and raises their beer into the air. From the energy of the fans, you’d never know their team has yet to win a Super Bowl. Luckily a full bar and typical bar food bites like tasty lemon pepper wings and pizza keep fans satisfied on Sundays no matter what the score is." - juli horsford

Super cool concept! Its way harder than it looks lol. Its huge inside and nicely spread out. They have a full bar and food and a couple arcade games. Lots of parking as well and the bathrooms are really clean. They played great music! Fun for the whole family or take advantage of their adult only weekend nights.

I’ve been to the Fowling Warehouse for events sponsored by Frost Bank and the Texas Legends. It is a wonderful venue to celebrate good friends and make new ones. Fowling is difficult (that ball goes everywhere) but boy, is it fun! During my visits, the food was great (love the pretzel poppers) and the bar was well stocked. The atmosphere is simply fun, complete with big screen TVs. If you've never played Fowling, check out the website to learn more. Highly recommend!

Google
Fowling is exactly what you’d expect if you’ve ever been bowling and thought, “I’d rather knock those pins down with a football.” The game itself is a blast, and the overall atmosphere makes it even better. The facility is huge, spotless, and well-maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful. They do take the rules of Fowling pretty seriously—which feels a little intense considering it’s a football-and-pins game—but it’s their business, so it’s understandable. There was also a live game of Jeopardy happening while we played. We ignored it at first but eventually joined in, and it ended up being a fun bonus. The host was all-in, which added to the entertainment. Overall, it was a great time. I’ll definitely be back.

I surprised my husband with a visit to Fowling Warehouse for his birthday, I made reservations for 2pm on a Saturday but we arrived early and they allowed us to check in which was nice. We had so much fun, the hour went by real quick! After our time was up, we stayed for a while to play UNO (we brought our own). Overall, it is a fun experience and we will definitely do it again.

Update: after posting this review and reaponding to the survey they sent us, management had not reaponded at all to apologize or get more info. It appears the lack of care comes from the top. Original review: Management isnt ready for handling group reservation and special events. We tried booking and the Director of Sales was so difficult to deal with. I haven't experienced such a difficulty giving someone my money before. We were expecting between 15 and 30 people and we needed to decide if this was in our budget. We were told we could only book through the special events if we have over 20 but we needed to know pricing before we could commit. This was months before the event. We were told it would be best to just call in to reserve it. We had 20 confirmed and we knew that could grow. Eventually it grew to 25 people and then we were told we may be turned away due to business levels. Luckily they let us in. Then they sat our 25 people at three 5 chair tables so 10 of our people had no where to sit. When. They did sit at an empty table, the server said it was for other attendees. No other attendees ever arrived and the place was basically empty. Also, our 8 year old daughter hit the red pin and was supposed to get to ring a siren. She was so excited, but was told she couldn't do it because she stood too close and "broke the rules" we were told they would charge us $25 if she pushed the button for the siren. Really?!? Let a child have a fun moment. We spent over $1500 and wouldn't do it again. Not secure the activity and food was bad. Fowling wad awesome and food was OK but the management and staff culture really needs work. They even have a sign posted in the bathroom threatening to turn large groups away if they don't have space. Isnt that obvious? Why would you need to post that? I hope higher ups read this and make some changes. This place was empty i cnat imagine their service standards are going to help change that.

First time Fowling, way more fun then I thought it was going to be couldn't stop playing! They have huge TVs for for sports events food is decently priced and tasted great. Will be coming back soon.

Google
Went to experience fowling for the first time! Loved everything about it. Before going, I checked out the website that offers a link to a YouTube video with a couple minutes breaking down the rules and procedures. Also being able to plan for casual, comfy clothes was smart. Restocking pins is a similar action to cornhole movements. Our hosts were friendly, kind, and professional. We enjoyed some drinks right away. The gem of bartender, Brittney, definitely passed the vibe check. The warehouse was clean, organized with little games near the tables. The details were well thought out and on point, including the lady’s bathroom foyer. The fowling rounds were fun and there’s definitely a learning curve. We didn’t order anything from the kitchen but will definitely do so next time. Couldn’t recommend this place enough to anyone looking to entertain or gather with kids over the age of 8. If you’re on the fence, you definitely need to go.

Google
Our go-to for trivia night - plenty of parking, not too loud & friendly staff. The train horn (supreme/combo) flatbread, bonk burger & brisket deviled eggs are the go-tos. The sweet potato fries are waffle styled, which makes it yummier. Seth, the owner, is friendly and open to feedback to make this place even better!

Yelp
Brunch is here! Went to play before Easter, found out about brunch Fowling was so much fun and a pretty packed place before Easter. Well be back for Glow Fowl next week

Yelp
Food - 4 Service - 5 Value - 5 I've been here a couple of times now. Menu has just enough variety to appeal to a wide variety of folks. While we've sampled a good number of items already, our favorites are the Bonk Burger, Pimento Deviled Eggs and the Train Horn flatbread. What really sets this place apart though is the service -- all the servers and the owner were super friendly and open to feedback we gave them. If you go on a weeknight, most of the time you pretty much have zero wait to do fowling.

Yelp
Wow this place is so much fun! I didn't know what to expect when I booked this for a team event, but I'm so glad we did. We were tired of top golf and bowling for our group, so we decided to try this place out. I was worried it may be difficult for some team members who don't throw footballs but it didn't matter bc bouncing a ball to hit pins works perfectly fine! It was super easy making reservation for our group and ordering food. Everybring was done perfectly with all the food being ready, drinks being ordered, and going over rules of the game - special thanks to Ernesto for making it all so easy. I highly recommend this place for your next team outing. People get competitive real quick Ahha but def book 1 lane for every 4-6 people so no long waits for people to go.

Yelp
Fowling is a combination of football and bowling. You throw a football maybe 40 yards to knock over 10 bowling pins. Whoever knocks all of them down first wins. Sure, there are other rules but we kept it simple for our first time. It was fun and tiring. You can order food and beverages and make a night of it. There are also arcade games and giant games like Connect 4 and Jenga.

Yelp
I gotta say, there is nothing more unique than the sport that everyone can experience for all ages, and that would be called Fowling. At first when I heard about this place, I sincerely questioned if I could even play this game. I love bowling (which was my first sport growing up), and I know about football (but I'm quite terrible at it) which is the best of both sides of the pendulum if you ask me! I remember going with my roommates from college, thinking that I was going to be one of the worst players in my group. And all of a sudden I heard the rule about the red bowling pen, to BONK it in the middle. So, not knowing what I was doing, with one throw, I got a BONK. This place makes a BIG deal about it. I thoroughly enjoyed signing the wall of fame and pulling the train horn, dang it was loud! The staff was nice and friendly, they took care of us really well and I was overall impressed with the experience! Will definitely be going again whenever I'm in DFW!

Yelp
We found out about this place due to the Legends basketball team. They have a kick off here for their season ticket holders. So we decided to bring a group of friends to try it out and we all had such an amazing time. We were absolutely terrible at the actual fowling game but that was part of the fun!! We also had food and drinks and our server, Eddie was super helpful and made sure we were taken care of. I love that they have darts, Jenga and connect four for when you're done with fowling. My only complaint is that this isn't closer to our place or we would be here all the time!

Yelp
Texas has everything these days, especially on off-the-beaten path sport/activity for a dude's night out. The place is massive with plenty of beer selections, the staff was super chill to boot.

Yelp
Dang! This place is cool. Came for an early Father's Day with a group and this was the perfect spot. Especially if you are looking for an activity that everyone can participate in without restrictions. Pickle ball is super fun, but you really need people to know the rules where here you can really just jump in! Service was great from the entire staff from the moment we walked in. Greetings, welcoming, getting us situated and consistently checking in. Drinks were prompt and our waitress did a great job even though we asked for several different checks. Unfortunately I can't speak to the food since we didn't order any. However would definitely come back- the AC will be a hit in July and august!

Yelp
Lots of fun with Family & Friends! Food was good too! Service in the beginning was a bit odd, but other than that overall great time!

Yelp
A couple friends and I decided to check this place out. I had missed throwing a football and this seemed like a safer version where I can't tear another ACL. The place is huge with a self service bar. You can reserve lanes or play in the open play area which is what we chose. To get started, you just have to sign a waiver and then pay $15 a person. My only angst is that the footballs (at least the few we touched) were pretty worn out and difficult to grip. In addition, as a female, my hands are naturally smaller making it hard to grip these NFL sized balls which ours was overinflated in our opinion. I would recommend having newer, better balls and perhaps entertaining the idea of having the option to chose a smaller football for females and even kids. What was also nice was the giant screen on the wall as well so we got to watch the football game on that night. The place is definitely fun and we'd go back. It's worth checking out!

Yelp
Such a cool experience! A great place for fun events, birthdays, date night, and hanging out with friends. Especially if you want to do something different. It's harder than it looks, but who doesn't love a challenge! Creating the concept of merging bowling and football is pretty genius. There's also a diverse food menu and drinks to choose from and the cheeseburger and pulled pork burger were delicious and filling.

Yelp
Pros-good flatbread pizza, decent service, nice interior with 2 huge warehouses. CONS -horrible dry pork sliders w/the nastiest BBQ sauce I have ever tasted. No kids menu, high chairs or booster seats. The QR code menu on the table does not work after 7-10 tries with my iPhone. The other QR code on a menu sent me to a site that wanted my email address. I won't give that out. They had 2 boring 97.1 talk radio hosts there live on site which was so strange, annoying & impossible to understand what they were saying due to the warehouse acoustics. It made for a Weird vibe. We got out of there as fast as we could. Fowling may be fun but it seems to take a long time to play & difficult for most ladies or teens. We did not play. Small # of visitors on a Friday 6pm.

Yelp
So much fun!!!! who would have thought to combine football and bowling?! Coming from someone who is not athletic or coordinated - I even had a great time! As you can imagine the place is pretty loud, and everyone is having a good time! It is family friendly, But kids are only allowed up until a certain time so be sure to check the website. They had a lot of beverage options including some on-alcoholic ones which the bartender was so excited to share with me and knowledgeable on the product
google avatar

Cristina S.

Yelp
This place is really fun, there's just no air flow. I won't be coming back until they either fix the air conditioning or install ceiling fans. Especially not in the summer. Plus there aren't enough food choices. Zero semi healthy anything. I get that it's bar food but maybe a simple salad option. Usually you can find something like that at most bars. That all being said, IT'S SO FUN. Don't rule it out, just consider these things. Oh wait, just for tonight it's a limited menu because of a UFC fight? Give me a break.

Yelp
Football, bowling, high-quality food, a bar and drinks -- it's all in one at Fowling Warehouse DFW where it's a perfect place for friends and families to connect and enjoy an upbeat atmosphere! They finally made its way to DFW and this warehouse is just massive and filled with fun, I cannot wait to go back! It's $15 per person, per hour -- your own lane is for up to 10 people max. You can reserve your lane online! Don't forget to grab a drink at the bar and choose from over 200 craft beer options. And as mentioned, the food really were of high-quality, big shoutout to the cheesecake burrito! Go grab your friends and families and try the new sport of Fowling!

Yelp
Showed up at 6pm on a Saturday, the place was DEAD! My husband and I had our 10 and 11 year old with us. We were told Saturday was 16 and up only! WOW! I guess this place doesn't like money. I went on the website, couldn't find this information easily accessible. For a place that could have clearly used our money, this rule is stupid. I could understand after 9pm, but turning away families looking to spend their money and have a nice evening out is bad business. Never considering this place again. Good luck!
google avatar

Nikki H.

Yelp
Food wasn't all that great but the game and whole idea or concept of fowling was pretty awesome. You do get hot easily, maybe some fans or higher AC would be beneficial. Service was excellent. As soon as we walked in this waiter seemed to know who we were and what time our visit was. We didn't have to walk around or figure out what to do because he immediately opened with "I'll help you with whatever you need." Eddie was great on waiting on us and was very friendly and easy going and made us feel comfortable throughout our visit. We will definitely becoming back and hopefully get Eddie as waiter again.

Yelp
Great experience. We hosted my husbands birthday party here a few months ago. They did an excellent job with communication before the event and even allowed to her guests to hide on the side of the bar for the big surprise. It was a great atmosphere, plenty of room and the food was pretty good. We will be back for a date night!

Yelp
Fun place for parties & group gatherings. Food is good, service is good and very accommodating.

Yelp
This place is perfect for date night or competition between friends. Shout out to our server Eddie, he was great and informative. Food is 10/10!

Haley L.

Yelp
We went here for a date night and it was one of the best date places in the DFW area! It is a very relaxed and fun environment. The workers are extremely nice and helpful with explaining the game. Our server was one of the best service workers we've had! The food was very reasonably priced and good. We'd definitely come back here for hangouts with a bigger group and football season because they have the perfect screens to watch.
google avatar

Yelp
Such a fun new venue!! The service was great! The staff were Attentive, friendly, accommodating! The facility was spacious and clean! And the food tasty! Serves typical bar food but with better quality and taste! Can't wait to go back! A well deserved 5 stars rating
google avatar

Yelp
Top notch service and so much fun! We hosted a corporate event and everything was perfect and our team had a blast! Can't wait to come back!

Tina S.

Yelp
We came for my step kids birthday and they were having a crawfish boil. We had never heard of fowling and were looking for something fun to do with them. They have the game area fenced off from the table and arcade games areas. It has a cool, warehouse astatic and the food was good. Our server was Ariana and she was very sweet. She answered all our questions and was very sweet. We had a lot of fun and will definitely be back.

Jordan M.

Yelp
Awesome atmosphere! we came for a birthday party and had Brittany and Ariana helping us out, they were so helpful and fun!!! Also, your queso is really good. thanks Ariana and Britt!

Yelp
We will definitely not be going back here. The menu sounded like some really good bar food but it was a complete disappointment. I ordered pork sliders and there was not even enough pork on the sandwich to cover the bottom of the bun. The pork was very dry and the barbecue sauce was extremely spicy (which was not indicated on the menu). They were completely inedible. Also, they do not come with any kind of side like chips or fries - just three disappointing sliders served on what looks like a spatula so that as you are trying to eat, your food falls on the table because you are trying to eat over a spatula rather than a plate. Our son said the pizza was just average. My husband got the flatbread and said it was just okay but that the barbecue sauce was not good. The service was absolutely terrible as well. We were there on a Sunday evening and there were only a few other small groups/families there at the same time so it was not a crowd issue. No one explained the rules to the kids but then the manager kept interrupting them to tell them they weren't playing by the rules. For a group of 20+ kids, they would only give us 2 footballs. The floors are cement which means the footballs bounce A LOT which meant the balls were all over the place in the play area. The "lanes" are very close together and there are no walls or netting between the lanes so balls are constantly bouncing out of other people's lanes into your play area and knocking over the pins and vice versa. We sat there for more than 2 hours and I was not able to even get a refill on my water from the waitress. It took almost 30 minutes for her to bring out the appetizers (just chip and dips) and several of our tickets were wrong when she brought the bill. When we requested a few more cups for the kids to get soda and water from the pitcher, they scolded us for requesting more and would only hand over 3 small plastic cups. This sounded like such a fun concept but was a complete disappointment.
google avatar

Natasha S.

Yelp
Came here for my birthday and had such a great time! Love the whole concept. I do think each lane should be separate by a fence of some sort so you avoid getting hit or your pins getting hit. Price is reasonable, food was good, and drinks too!

Beth D.

Yelp
Such a fun place! Fowling is like bowling and cornhole but played with a football. We did Open Play and played for hours. It took us a little while to keep the ball from going into the other "lane" but once we got it down it was a blast. Tried the burgers and they were decent. We will defiantly be going back soon.

Patrick C.

Yelp
Very unique and lots of fun. Food is decent. Had company event and it was a spread of pizza, chicken and brisket sandwiches. Cheeseboards, veggie trays, etc. all were tasty but we were more focused on the games. Warehouse style and the inside is huge. Air conditioned nicely. Beer selection is big and they have a full bar. Servers and hosts were very attentive.
google avatar

Stephen N.

Yelp
This place was pretty fun, but only for about 30 mins. Went early on a Saturday so it was pretty dead which was nice cause we had the whole place to ourselves pretty much.
google avatar

Trish W.

Yelp
Super fun time!!! Definitely harder than it looks but is exciting and thrilling. I like that I got to wear my own shoes as opposed to regular bowling!!!! The drinks were super strong, tasty and affordable. The flat bread pizza was delicious!!! The staff was extremely friendly!!! I would give this place 10 out of 10 and definitely recommend to a friend because service is everything!!!!
google avatar

Rolando C.

Yelp
June 30th went there with coworkers for a corporate event, this place and their food gave a group of over 20 people food poisoning, and a couple ended up in the E.R. Beware of eating anything at this establishment.

Mandi B.

Yelp
Great service by Eddie and the game was so much fun! Pepperoni pizza was good. Everyone in our group had a great time. Will definitely be back.
google avatar

Samuel A.

Yelp
SUPER GOOD!!!! The food was amazing absolutely love this place I'll definitely bring my friends with me next time! The ambience was definitely different then what I'm used to
google avatar

Ricky P.

Yelp
Ask my friend if he cared about 75 cents because they didn't want to give him a dollar back. Then we had 9 ppl and they would only give us one football. We were there from out of town for a friends bachelor party. We needed up just leaving. Terrible customer service.

Andrea B.

Yelp
The service is amazing here!!! Eddie was a great server and very kind. The atmosphere is casual and fun! We will be back very soon

Kayla M.

Yelp
Went for their grand opening and it was so much fun! Looking forward to going back more often for date nights or with friends! Lots of space and lots of options at the bar!
google avatar

Noah W.

Yelp
Fowling Warehouse is massive. It's if football, bowling, and cornhole had a baby. It's a good time, have projectors going to catch the game on and a kitchen with some solid wings.

Jeannie C.

Yelp
Jeremy is the BEST general manager EVER!!!! First time here and will definitely be back! Great service, lots of fun! Plenty of space for a big group and two big bars!

Natalie H.

Yelp
Very unexpected this place is so much fun, awesome, and so such a fun time and Eddie is the best sever very attentive!

Emily B.

Yelp
This place is fantastic all around! Great service, fun times and the food was delicious and inexpensive. We were feeding a group of teenage boys, so the cost of food was great!

Kristi T.

Yelp
Wonderful night with friends. great food. at the end of the night as we were leaving, saying good by to friends, some douche behind the counter said "what are you guys doing?" we said confused "leaving?" and he said "not you're not." It took us a second to realize that was his rude way of telling us we were walking out the wrong way, through the entrance door vs the exit. He arrogantly pointed out that we walked by 3 signs indicating it was not the exit.. well that's bc we weren't paying attention to signs but rather saying goodbye to friends we likely wouldn't see for a while. Anyway, it was a fun night but that guy just put a damper on the happy vibes being as rude as he was RIGHT as we were leaving and commenting on what a fun night it was. from his place behind the counter at the check in area. He was on the heavier side, had brown hair, a brown beard, and obviously zero social skills. It was clear that telling us that was the wrong door was the highlight of his evening as he laughed at us with another coworker. Everyone else was super friendly.
