After months of wanting to try Fox and Farrow, coupled with great reviews across many platforms, we finally decided to go to celebrate a birthday. The atmosphere is fantastic - love the dark European pub vibe, beautiful lights, art and furniture, however every other aspect of our experience was disappointing. The waitress maybe smiled once throughout our entire service and generally gave the impression that our presence was an inconvenience for her - this really put damper on the entire night that was meant to be celebratory. The truffle fries and sweet/sour lobster soup were delicious (esp the soup, highly recommend!!), however the boar risotto and duck pasta tasted like the kitchen had completely forgotten to salt them, which muted all the other flavors in the dishes. It was pretty shocking for a place of this caliber. Overall, it was really the service we received that will ensure we never return, super bummed bc I know Chef Darren has been an iconic local chef in the South Bay and clearly many, many other patrons have had an incredible experience here. :(

This was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food, the people, the atmosphere. I came here for dinner with my best friend and we left so full, happy, and excited to come back again. It was nostalgic but we’ve never been here before. Very grateful for the over hospitality and ambience of the place as a whole but we will be coming back with more friends and Family! xoxo Samantha & Allison

Amazing cozy place with great, food, and atmosphere. A perfect place to take that special person in your life. Update the fries are the best in the world 🌎. Come enjoy the attentive staff. You will not be sorry you came. They revamp there sliders. They are amazing . It like biting into a fine steak. You taste all the flavors 😋 You still will not find a better truffle fries in this country. Come enjoy a winter night in the cozy warm Fox and Farrows.

Service was top notch! Kirk the bartender was very friendly, knowledgeable of his bar, menu, and the local Hermosa area. The owner happened to be in at the bar while I was visiting, we were talking about how great Hermosa is and how the opportunity for his new venture is equally important. This is clearly a true restaurateur , after talking for a bit he noticed I was finished with my plate and cleared it. The food was right on the money. I had the hunter’s pie. The vegetables had a sweetness to them that only the freshest ingredients taste of. The blend of meat is so much more than just the classic lamb/shepherd pie. Fox and Farrow is nailing it. Come check this place out.

The service and atmosphere are fantastic! The drinks and food are not only beautifully presented but incredibly delicious. This place is a must try!

Unfortunately no veggies options. Even their falafels are fried in the same pan as meat dishes. They weren’t able to offer any other alternatives. Bit disappointing, really wanted to try it out

Yelp
My fiancée and I decided to try this spot on a whim for a Friday Night Date Night... and they absolutely delivered. Abby and the GM, Kieran, were fantastic. I've worked on the Hermosa Beach pier as a manager at a nearby restaurant for a little over 5 years now and I'm surprised I haven't heard about a gem of a dining experience such as this that has been open for the past 3 years. I would highly recommend the Duck Pasta and "BEST" Espresso Martini if you ever take the worthwhile chance to try this restaurant. Everything from the service to the plates and drinks that were served to us was amazing. 6/5 stars if I could give that rating. We will be back in the near future and again and again onward. Fox & Farrow is the speak easy dining atmosphere that Hermosa has desperately needed. Cheers!

Yelp
Great food, love the ambience, and the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and fun to be around.

Yelp
Wow!! Just wow!! Where do I begin? Everything about this place was just exceptionally amazing!! It's been a really long time since I've had this kind of trifecta with excellent customer service, near perfect vibes and food and drinks that was some of the best I've had in a very long time!! First off the customer service was amazing. We had Keiren? (Probably spelled that wrong) as our waiter and he was extremely knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Answered all our questions. Allowed us to make modifications to our drinks. Super nice. Food came out quickly as well as the drinks! Atmosphere was beautiful!! Very dark and romantic inside. Very small restaurant added to the exclusivity vibes and specialness of the night. A little sitting area in the middle where you can sit and chill while ordering foods and drinks as well. The booths were extremely comfortable. Nice cushions. The table we sat at could easily have fitted 6 people if not 8. Loved the decor and the craftsmanship of the design and just everything about it. Definitely a perfect place for a romantic date night. The food and drinks were near perfect. Drunks were very alcohol forward. Very heavy handed and free with the pours. But they still tasted amazing. 1 drink down and I was very comfortable. I had the espresso martini. They claim in quotations to be the "best" espresso martini. And I'm not gonna lie, it's maybe top 3 espresso martinis I've ever had. And I like to think I'm a connoisseur of espresso martinis. Rich, frothy, aromatic, very coffee flavored but also heavy on the alcohol. It was perfectly balanced. Had the chocolate martini also. Same concept. But without the coffee. But it was just as amazing. We had other drinks as well and they were all heavy handed with the alcohol in a very good way!! Food was equally amazing. A good selection of appetizers, shareable dishes and entrees. But not overwhelming. What they do have on the menu though, they have perfected. We ordered the: 1. Pheasant sausage- never had pheasant, but one of the best dishes we had for the night. Sausage tasted amazing. Salty, tender, not gamey at all. Succulent. Worked well with the pretzel croustini. And the mustard worked well too with the Pheasant and bread. 2. Grilled cauliflower and corn- a great dish. Nicely charred. Lots of mushrooms. Perfectly balanced. Tasted great! 3. Grilled Ceasar salad- to have the actual romaine heart grilled was uniquely different in a good way. Small peices of anchovy on it really gave it pops of salty yumminess. Everything on the dish worked well together. Healthiness of being a salad, but tasted amazing though. 4. Hanger steak- tender and moist. Chimichurri sauce was an excellent combination with the steak. Not a big portion though. 5. Sticky thai ribs- these were amazing. One of the best dishes I had here. Sauce was thick and sticky. Slightly sour, slightly sweet but extremely delicious. The meat was just as tender, literally fall off the bone soft. You could cut it effortlessly with the fork. Just amazingness!!! 6. Marys chicken kabobs- these too were by far one of the best dishes. I had here. The tenderness and juiciness of the chicken is top 3 that I've ever had! Flavors too were just perfect. This dish was just wow!! Finished with a pecan mud pie. And it too was near perfection. The creaminess of the gelato coupled with the crunch of the Graham crust. It wasent overly sweet. But it was rich. And it was the perfect way to finish the meal!! Overall, everything here was dang near perfection. Service, vibes, food and drinks. Nearly a perfect trifecta!! Definitely worth the 60 plus mile drive from Rancho Cucamonga, and I would do it again in a heartbeat!! There's limited paid street parking. We were fortunate to find an open spot. But it's ok if you parked far, because the walk around town is just as nice!!

Yelp
"A Michelin-worthy plate with a speakeasy vibe" is a bold statement (per their website) - that itself lost a star for me. Admittedly, we arrived early and ordered fries and Brussels sprouts along with a salad, so maybe we didn't enjoy the full effect? However, the sprout and fries were oversalted, gah! Def not Michelin-worthy unless maybe it's referring to the tire company and how their rubber resists salted roads in the winter? The salad was good... Arugula Salad (GF) | $18 Arugula, Goat Cheese, Toasted Sliced Almonds, Pitted Fresh Cherries, Dried Apricot, Basil Balsamic Dressing. Due to our strange arrival time (late afternoon-early evening), we had a shift change and a Happy Hour to regular menu awkward transition. My bad, I own it. The servers handled their business professionally, not a problem for me. In all, I liked the place, didn't love it. It's probably worthy of a Goodyear, Pirelli, or Firestone 4.5 stars, maybe not Michelin yet? 4.3 stars.

Yelp
I went here for a birthday party. It had a nice ambiance and the food blew me away. I was not expecting it to be that good, will come back soon for a nice sit-down dinner.

Yelp
Cozy atmosphere, great drinks and amazing food. The perfect trifecta for a wonderful evening. I was fortunate to have my birthday dinner here and partake in a variety of dishes that did not disappoint. Make sure you have some of everything. BTW the service will not disappoint you. Remember to ask about recommendations. Lastly Fox and Farrow has the best Pork Chop in the South Bay!!!!!

Yelp
Went on a Thursday. Very chill, very comfortable. I had the Downing Street and my friend had the infamous Espresso Martini... absolutely delicious. I will definitely be back soon.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Really good cocktails but the portion size are so small. The food was delicious but the portions kind of ruined it for me. Not posted the tiny beef skewers. Also, they close pretty early and attached to the restaurant is another bar so that was fun.

Yelp
This place is one we love to go to. I wish it was a bit bigger but whenever we can get in we enjoy our time. The last time we went we sat at the bar. The service was great and he was personable. We appreciated the recommendations and had the duck, pheasant, and a roast (I think without looking back at the menu). They were all good. The duck pasta is a little heavy but very flavorful and a good comforting food. The only thing for us that was a skip was the dessert. We had one with a chocolate cake base which was a bit unflavored. The ambiance is nice, perfect for a date night or night out with friends without having to shout over all the noise. Overall we enjoyed it and will definitely be back again in the future.

Yelp
I came here on a date Night. The ambience was cozy and just the perfect amount of lighting. They have nice lounging couches, coffee table, booths and the bar area. Sat at the bar. Drinks were great, BUT....THE FOOD!!! amazing!!!!!. We ordee 3 small dishes to share and the flavor was unbelievable. I'll be back for sure.

Yelp
Beautifully dark and moody restaurant with very attentive service. Went for a birthday dinner with friends. I had the Duck Pasta. Can you say yummy! The only critique on it is that the menu does not mention corn as an ingredient. The corn is sweet and took away from the rest of the dish. Also, the peas were undercooked/ a little hard. My guess is they used frozen. Friends had the hanger steak, fries, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, salmon and the Falafel board. Steak was cooked to perfection. Brussels - loved the hint of curry. Almost forgot the Campfire Mud Pie was great as well. I'll be back for another bite.

Yelp
They claim they have the best espresso martinis, and their martinis actually lives us to the name. Truly I just come back for the espresso martinis. They have a full bar stocked with all kinds of liquor. Their food is good too. Baked Brie is so nice and flaky, and comes with toasted bread, strawberries, blueberries, candied walnuts and an apricot jam. The duck pasta was delicious, not too greasy or buttery or salty. The beef sliders were not bad, the patties and brioche bun were definitely better quality but they're just sliders. Brussels sprouts and bruschetta were good, but nothing new. Ambiance is a bouji English bar with velvet and wood panels. They have booth seating and some couch seating as well. Great for parties of 6 max or less or a romantic date. Beach is less than five minutes away. Meter street parking is a bit hard because it's on the Main Street with all of the restaurants and shops. But there's a few public paid parking lots across the street

Yelp
Amazing dinner..... Great ambiance and amazing food! Will definitely be back! Loved the amazing Caesar Salad with their homemade dressing...... and pine nuts.

Yelp
Love the interior space of this speakeasy style restaurant. The food was good & the drinks were unique & tasty. I went on a weekday night and it was pretty quiet. I'll be back!

Beth B.

Yelp
Food was excellent! Drinks were on point! Service was amazing! And the ambiance, very romantic! My friend & I had our first visit here just last week and will definitely be coming back here again! We ordered the Brussel Sprouts(10/10) Duck pasta (10/10) Hunter's pie (8/10) and the Mud Pie for dessert (9/10)! The Hunter's pie was alright in comparison to everything else we ordered. The meat was very gamey, it lacked seasoning. You mainly taste the potato and goat cheese. Thankfully, we do like both of those flavors! However we wished the meat stood out a bit more rather than being so bland. The mud pie was delicious! It's definitely not a typical mud pie and the pecans that are listed in the ingredients are hardly noticeable. The Duck Pasta and Brussels were definitely show stoppers! This place is gorgeous inside and out, and our waitress was attentive and friendly. Overall, this is a must visit for sure!

Yelp
Everything was amazing! Ambiance, cocktails and food was on point. Loved the pretzel bread and truffle fries to start. Beef and chicken satay skewers, duck pasta, little gem wedge and sliders. All outstanding. We also got the peach crispy and s'mores. Will be back for sure.

Yelp
Navigating dining options with dietary restrictions can often feel like a culinary obstacle course, but Fox and Farrow in Hermosa Beach rises to the occasion, turning potential dining dilemmas into delightful experiences. With my severe peanut and nut allergy and my partner's celiac disease, finding a restaurant that not only accommodates but ensures a worry-free dining experience is rare. Yet, Fox and Farrow does this with an impressive level of care and attention to detail, making it a standout choice in the Hermosa Beach area. From the moment you step into Fox and Farrow, the ambiance sets the stage for a fantastic evening, whether it's a romantic date night or a lively gathering with friends. The care they take with allergies doesn't mean a compromise on the culinary experience. Fox and Farrow shines with its excellent cuisine, offering a creative twist on classic dishes that are both delightful and reasonably priced. Whether it's a quiet date night or a lively gathering with friends, the ambiance here caters to all. And let's not overlook the cocktails--each one is a masterful mix of classic inspirations, enhancing the overall dining experience. Post-dinner, the evening can extend seamlessly into fun, with games like shuffleboard or darts available in The Underground--a perfect way to round off a great meal. Fox and Farrow stands out not only as a beacon of safety for those with dietary restrictions but also as a culinary gem in Hermosa Beach. It's a venue we trust and heartily recommend for anyone seeking a top-tier dining experience that respects health needs without sacrificing flavor or fun.

Yelp
Quaint and cute interior, I thought it would be a speakeasy bar, but it got quite loud. All the drinks we ordered were great (also very strong). The duck pasta was unique and had rich flavors, the wedge salad portion was huge and also very flavorful. Our server was also pleasant, quick service. Only thing that they didn't nail was the dessert. We ordered the strawberry shortcake with high expectations because all the food was so great. But the ice cream on top had no flavor, the shortcake portion, I could have gotten a better one from Ralphs. We'll certainly be back to try a different dessert

Sarah W.

Yelp
Great service! Food was 3.5/5 stars. Cocktails 4/5 stars. Service 5/5 stars. Don't recommend the ribs and truffle fries were a little drenched in oil, or maybe it was truffle oil...
google avatar

Hunter M.

Yelp
Always a phenomenal experience and great food at Fox & Farrow. Personal favorites are duck pasta, pork chop, lobster bisque, and all of the desserts. The ambiance is great, extremely welcoming staff, and the menu / cocktails are world class. Great date spot.

Walker S.

Yelp
This place is top notch. I'm a Hermosa local, and can't say I'm blown away by many of the restaurants around town. But this place I give a 10/10. Great ambiance, amazing service, and fantastic food.
google avatar

Karen T.

Yelp
I was in the Hermosa area and found this lovely restaurant, and I am so glad I did! Ambiance: I get speakeasy/lounge/rustic vibes. Lovely leather couches in the middle area, extra long booths and some high top tables. Cozy and chic. Love it! Service: Everyone was so friendly! The entire staff from walking in, to chatting with them on the way out. Super friendly, and lovely people. Drinks: the bartender knows how to make a great cocktail. I ordered the espresso martini, and it was so good! Like dessert in a cup. My boyfriend ordered the vesper martini and it was boozy and delicious. Food: we ordered the Pheasant Sausage to start. It comes with sausage, little crostini type bread and mustard. Really tasty! We ordered the beef kabobs. OMG they are so tender they melt in your mouth! And I loved the delicious dipping sauce. So good! We also ordered the pork tostadas. They are delicious! We had to get something green and decided on the season salad with butter lettuce, persimmons and pumpkin seeds. So simple but extremely delicious. We ended our meal with dessert and had to get the mud pie. This delicious Oreo crust, with frozen Oreo cheesecake, fudge and whipped cream was a perfect way to end the night. Overall the entire evening was delightful! The service, the food and the drinks were all excellent! If you are ever in the Hermosa area, definitely give this place a visit. You will not regret it, and you will be back for more!
google avatar

Jen R.

Yelp
Love this 'yin and yang' place. On one side is a cool, speakeasy New York type restaurant -- awesome drinks and it's yummy food (chix kabobs are the BEST). Other side is a great sports bar with darts and pool.
google avatar

Nathan B.

Yelp
A sleek operation. Fun decor somehow makes you feel like you're simultaneously in an upscale bistro and on the set of Peaky Blinders. The food is plentiful, menu is traditional fare with a refined Hermosa twist. The staff was friendly and on-brand with the establishment. I honestly can't decide if I'm going back for the drinks or the dishes. Both. Great place for date night. You'll have a blast here. And to be honest everything is reasonably priced for the quality you get.
google avatar

Daniela M.

Yelp
The place definitely has a cool vibe and a comfortable environment. Ordered the veggie platter that had a lot of variety (I would like more falafels) and the Brussel sprouts that were good. The Pinot Grigio was smooth. Not sure if the dirty bond was suppose to taste like straight up olive juice, I would need to ask them.

Jill C.

Yelp
Delicious food & cocktails, great ambience and the best server/owner, ever, Kieran made the night so fun! Highly recommend!

Katie R.

Yelp
Hands down the best food in Hermosa and service. The salmon and steak were to die for not to mention the delectable espresso martini! This speak easy is the place to be if you're looking for a night out to remember.

Yelp
What a find! My wife and I moved back to the South Bay a few months ago and have been exploring all the great places to drink and dine. The Fox and Farrow is now on the top of our list - we will defintely be regulars here. Kieran and the team took amazing care of us, the room is fabulous, and the food absolutely delicious. We started with Baked in Puff Pastry, I had the hanger steak and my wife enjoyed the Little Gem Wedges. We topped it all off with the excellent Peach Crumble (Bourbon poached peach slices with peach gelato!). It has a cool, classy upscale pub vibe, the whole room is super comfortable. Do yourself a favor and give it a visit.
google avatar

Frank F.

Yelp
Do not come here for anything other than a strong drink. Holy smokes. "A Michelin worthy plate with a speakeasy vibe" reads the banner on the website. This could not be further from the truth. This is an old Irish pub with TV's behind the bar serving the bar food from the place next door. We got two orders of sliders. They were beyond well done, grey and dry. Straight out of the freezer. Michelin worthy plate? Dude, what? They were served dry with some kind of house sauces that were unintelligible and did not correspond to whatever was written on the menu. My buddy got the steak. Ordered medium rare. It came out purple served over a bed of under caramelized onions. He said it was super salty. I hate to drag on a restaurant but this was probably one of my worst experiences out to eat ever. The staff was friendly enough, so there's that. But Jesus, the food was bad.
google avatar

John K.

Yelp
Fox and Farrow is one of my favorite restaurants in the South Bay. Unique and delicious menu and always great service. I love the salmon, the pheasant and the lobster bisque soup! A great dining experience, with elevated ocean views, nestled right above Hermosa Brewery. Definite a 5 star experience!
google avatar

Amanda T.

Yelp
This place has an effortlessly cool and sexy vibe to it. Met up with a gf here for dinner and a drink. We ended up getting the duck pasta which was tasty but I felt it def needed alittle more punch to it. It did have a very harmonious flavor and I felt like they did a great job removing any gamey-ness of the duck flavor but I would have liked a little something extra. But my favorite thing from here has to be their dirty martinis with the blue cheese olives !! It's so hard to find a place that has fresh blue cheese olives ! They hit it out the park

Michelle B.

Yelp
Kieran and Risa (sp) are wonderful owner/hosts to a relaxed and cozy spot in downtown Hermosa Beach. The food was amazing (we had beef skewers, the burger sliders and roasted Brussels sprouts). What's to love are the unique flavors and thoughtful consideration to the menu, seasoning tastefully! We will be back!
google avatar

Don Z.

Yelp
We had an experience !!! Warm greeting, outstanding hospitality & service, the best pork chop I've ever tasted, my wife may never have such a beautiful coquille st Jacques, ... and the most romantic we've had in 30 years.
google avatar

Edwin R.

Yelp
Small place, with a speakeasy vibe. Friendly service. Old Fashioned cocktail was on the stronger side, which worked for me. Food, overall, exceeded expectations. Brussels Sprouts - flaky, light, with a dash of salt. Recommend! Pretzel Loaf - bread with a pretzel-like crust. We ordered two, need I say more? Cauliflower - pretty good, but wish had more quantity of actual cauliflowers. Duck Pasta - if you like duck, it's a must try. Highly Recommend! Hint, request the pasta to Al dente. Pork Belly Sliders - pork belly was a bit dry, but the slaw was good. Average Crab Cake - moist and flavorful, and the cucumber slaw lightened the dish.
google avatar

Erik K.

Yelp
One of my FAVORITE spots in Hermosa... amazing drinks done right and done strong I've had their old fashioned and manhattan. Both classy and boozy. The Food! The Food is mouthwatering!! I've had their hangar steak, pork chop, and scallops.. all of which were some of the best I've had in the South Bay. Also very reasonably priced. The service is superb. Kirk and Kirin (twin brothers) are extremely friendly and a joy to be around. They are both very chatty and helpful when you need food or drink recommendations. This place is definitely a local gem! Shoutout to Kirk and Kirin! This is Erik (I usually come in with my beach bag and sit at the bar). See you guys when I return from my travels!
google avatar

Katelyn M.

Yelp
Depends on what you're looking for. This is more of a pub vibe with upscale bar food. I liked the ambiance, but the website claimed Michelin-worthy food and that's where the letdown was for me. I was expecting and looking for something more upscale. If I'd gone in with the proper expectations looking for a bar/ speakeasy vibe with decent bar food, this probably would have been a four star review.

Yelp
Hanger Steak and fries are melt in your mouth Perfection! Cocktails and ambience are total cherries on top!

Dr. Wendell P. W.

Yelp
We've been fans of Chef Darren when he had his great restaurant in Manhattan Beach. Plus he has Maui ties like us when he was at Lahaina Grill. Fox & Farrow marks a brilliant return of his culinary talents. I waited to write this review after we dined a second time within a month just to try different tasty items on his menu. On our first experience, we were impressed with the upscale pub atmosphere, and warmly greeted. Unfortunately there was a very boisterous and loud group sitting in the middle of the restaurant which forced us to move to a different table. Laura was our server who was understanding and apologized, but this was out of her control. We started out with cocktails. The martini with blue cheese olives was very good, and my old fashioned also tasty, but with the large ice cube, small in volume. Then the magic began ... the Grilled Caesar consisted of two large romaine with delicious anchovies and dressing and was delicious, as were a very generous portion of Brussels sprouts. For the main courses, we had the duck Orchietta which was savory and the Hunter's pie which had boar, lamb and topped with an incredible parsnip purée ~ absolutely delicious. They have an excellent selection of wines by the glass and by the bottle. We loved the Hartford Court Chardonnay which went with everything. On our next visit with good friends, in addition to the salad and Brussels which everyone enjoyed, we tried his famous salmon gently crusted and cooked to perfection and the flat iron steak on onions with chimichurri also cooked nicely medium rare. Our friends had beers on tap. Dessert was a fruit cobbler with peaches and blueberries. The crumble was sprinkled, but could have used a little butter and browning. Anna was an excellent and very attentive server, and also warmly greeted by the bartender Also there was No noisy group this time, so the atmosphere was very nice and cozy. So with two delicious meals under our belts, I can heartily recommend Fox & Farrow.

Yelp
We found this gem on OT & loved it! Great ambience. Felt like a speak easy from the 20s. You walk upstairs from the street so its still a good vibe without the noise. They have nice lighting and good background music. We had the pretzels, sausage, filet mignon skewers, risotto, Mac & cheese & mud pie. All delicious! Good service & owner is great! I think any bad reviews are from competitors trying to sabotage.

Yelp
Catching up with a friend, I decided to give this place a try for dinner and drinks. My friend arrived before me and took a seat by the bar. Parking can be challenging on Hermosa Avenue, but after circling around, I was able to find a spot less than a block away on the street. Restaurant is located up a flight of stairs from the street. Once inside, I was greeted by friendly staff and sat with my friend. Staff offered to move us to the restaurant, but we stayed in the bar area. Ordered a Pretty in Pink: Stoli Raspberry Vodka, Chambord, Lemon, Simple Syrup, Whipped Cream, Luxardo Cherry. Very good. Next up, Fried Brussels Sprouts: Brussels Sprouts Leaves, Seasoned with Toasted Curry Grilled Cauliflower and Corn: Spiced with Paprika & Tossed with Toasted Pistachios & Shiitake Mushrooms Both were very good and flavorful. But we realized we needed something else and decided to split the Duck Pasta. Duck Pasta:Orecchiette, Duck Confit, English Peas, Shiitake Mushrooms & Creamy Herb Demi-Glace. Delicious and rich and my favorite item of the night. Place got livelier as the night advanced and we even convinced another friend to join us impromptu. Good drinks and food, friendly staff and a fun night.

Yelp
Date night here was great we loved our visit. There are so many restaurants to choose from in the area but this menu caught my eye, the drink menu was so unique & the atmosphere was beautiful. The steak skewers were definitely a highlight. I can't recall the name of the drink I had but I also had a chocolate martini that was so tasty! It was my first time having a martini! The Thai salmon was absolutely perfect. Everything about the dish was so flavorful & perfect portion. My partner had the hangar steak & we shared the chocolate dessert. We died over the dessert it had so many delicious layers. Was a perfect date night, can't wait to come back.

Yelp
I went to Fox and Farrow for a late night drink and bite with my lady. There were a couple of small mix-ups, but hey, we both totally understand that these things happen. It's how you respond that counts. Well, the proprietor was gracious, super friendly, and absolutely made everything right. As a result of the exceptional customer service, as well as the delicious fare and drink, we will definitely be returning. The place also has a relaxing, lovely vibe about it. Looking forward to returning soon!

David C.

Yelp
What a great time. Excellent cocktails , great food ,and such friendly service. As Manhattan Beach residents we are always looking for a great , walk to, location. I'm annoyingly critical but have nothing but high praise from start to finish for this new found favorite. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Yelp
Cold ice water is served to the table with a large jug to self-refill. The water is very good quality.

Yelp
The decor and atmosphere was cute and felt intimate because of how small it was. The server was great and gave us amazing service. The main issue was the food and drinks. My friend ordered the steak and it was so salty that it basically left your tongue numb after a bite and the Cosmo was undrinkable. I took one sip and that was enough for me it tasted like rubbing alcohol. The duck pasta on the other hand was great and so were the brussel sprouts, those two dishes mixed with the service was the only reason this place got 3 stars if not it would've been way lower. Definitely disappointing overall.

Yelp
The food was really good, but the service was outstanding. FYI: I did not realize I left my wallet and one of the employees had ran through a couple of blocks just to return it to me.

Yelp
Formerly Chelsea's, a fun little upstairs bar/dance club, I love the new Fox and Farrow. From the masculine hunter theme contrasted with very prettily presented dishes we enjoyed. Appreciated the chef's unique touches which sets it apart from other restaurants in the area that serve similar dishes. We ordered family style the following: Pheasant Sausage, Wild Arugula Stone Fruit Salad and the Pork Belly Sliders. Everything was presented very pretty. The pheasant wasn't gamey at all. The Arugula salad needed a pinch of salt but delicious and best of all... the Pork Belly Sliders. Thick slices of pork belly, nothing skimpy here. I abstained from drinking but I sure wanted a cocktail. Will be back for sure! Parked in the lot across the street.

Yelp
Dining at this restaurant was a delight from beginning to end. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the cozy ambiance made for a memorable and extraordinarily experience. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for a treat. Chef Darren is amazing, hands down the best chef in the area! Everything on the menu is excellent from the Sweet & Spicy Lobster Chowder to the Prime Bone In Pork Chop. You can't go wrong with anything you choose. Our experience was nothing short of exceptional. I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family.

Yelp
Decent food and friendly service but I was very annoyed by the very drunk and super loud group, only at 6:30pm which ruined our date night,, hence 3 stars.
