Upscale Ice Cream Spot Van Leeuwen Is Opening Three Scoop Shops in Boston | Eater Boston

"A 95-seat airport restaurant from Chef Karen Akunowicz of Fox & the Knife and Bar Volpe, open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in Terminal A. The menu focuses on classic Italian plates—eggs and polenta, rigatoni Bolognese, and pork milanese—and is paired with a full slate of cocktails, beer, and wine, offering a more elevated dining option inside the terminal." - Erika Adams

Delicious from scratch offerings! I ordered the Caesar Salad it was one of the best Caesar I have ever had. Two gentlemen sitting on either side of me ordered paninis and they said that their dishes were good as well. Fresh brewed Iced Tea with simple syrup was the final complement to my meal. Respectfully Reviewed.

The bartender was EXTREMELY rude, and I witnessed several other patrons visibly uncomfortable by her behavior. She had lots of piercing and tattoos. She acted completely annoyed with every person who sat down. She took nearly 20 min to open a can of beer and struggled because her super super long fingernails are seriously problematic for her - she uses them to angrily punch in orders on her touchscreen as well. One other woman at the bar asked her if she was “ok” because she was appearing to be so completely spiteful every time someone sat down or asked her for something. She kept slamming receipts onto the counter, angrily punching in numbers. I was seriously anxious and concerned she would start yelling at anyone at any moment. This person seemed quite literally to hate every customer and it was concerning. I decided not to order food and leave asap. And two women came in next to me,observed the same behavior and left before ordering. So, at least least three people decided not to order lunch because of her behavior. I would certainly never return. Horrific service experience!!

I ate here for breakfast. The menu was limited but that is usual in an airport terminal. The prices were good. The coffee was ok. It reminded me of gas station coffee. The breakfast sandwich I had was tasty.

I am not sure how you get aglio e olio wrong but they sure did. It taste like a bowl of pasta water with roasted garlic. The pasta was severely overcooked and as a whole had no favor. Not sure how a restaurant or chef who puts their name on this restaurant maintains any reputation at all. Entirely the worst meal I have eaten in years.

The food is DELICIOUS. The service is THE WORST. We approached the hostess and the first thing she said to us, with a bad attitude, was: is the menu OK with you? We didn’t understand what she meant and asked. To what she said: oh, I ask because some people sit down and get up after when they look at the menu… After we got sat, it took forever to put our order.

Little hideaway in Boston Logan Airport to grab a snack and a quick drink. Promising menu. The arancini was hot, with a crisp outer shell and a nice rice inside. If you prefer a less sweet dish, recommend ordering the orange blossom honey on the side. Special thanks to Viky (bartender) for sharing her thoughts on the wine selection and for the pleasant service.

We had a nice lunch here while waiting for a flight. The food was really exceptional. I had the Wild Boar pasta and a beer. Great way to kill time at the airport with some top-quality food. And this is after eating for days at all the Boston hot spots.

We arrived early at the airport and decided to have lunch before our flight. It wasn’t very busy, and while there wasn’t a hostess to greet us, the bartender seated us and took care of everything. The food was enjoyable, though a bit pricey for the portion size—likely due to the airport setting. Overall, I’d eat here again.

Yelp
The meal was okay, though the service was a bit slow. The restaurant itself was quite nice overall. I've had decent airport food before, though it's always pricey. Unfortunately, this meal didn't hit the mark for me. There's also a noticeable lack of dining options on this side of the airport, but given these constraints, if you're hungry, it's worth enjoying.

Yelp
We went here before boarding our flight and loved the only appetizer that we ordered here. Quick service and good-tasting food. For the airport, it was reasonably priced as well. It has a nice seating overall.

Yelp
Early morning and early lunch at Boston's Logan Airport Terminal A. Near my gate so I stopped by.. had the Chicken parmigiana sandwich with fries and a Riesling. Service was excellent. The decor is standard middle tier chic. Well done.

Yelp
Quick service and delicious food. I ordered the olives, arancini, and cacio pepe, and they were all delicious. This may have been the best airport food I've ever had and I was really impressed by the cacio pepe - the cheesy, creamy sauce and texture of the pasta was perfect. Would definitely recommend!

Yelp
Stopped by here before my flight to grab a quick bite and a drink. I ordered the mixed olives and the arancini. Food was really good, and the drink I had was amazing. I had the limoncello spritz and it was the perfect pre-flight drink. The bartender, Krista, was super sweet and very efficient. She was aware of my time restrictions and made sure I was out in plenty of time. I will definitely be back to this newer restaurant in Terminal A.

Yelp
Staff is very unfriendly and unprofessional and racist. The bartender Crystal (Christie?) snapped at me to move my backpack off of the chair next to me. She then came back and demanded my ID to sit at the bar (although I had only ordered a water and a chicken sandwich). When I provided my ID, she told the manager she refused to serve me. To avoid an argument I decided it was best to pack my things and head to another restaurant. While packing my things to leave she came back to the bar area and threatened to call the state police on me. I am of Spanish descent and I am fairly certain this was racially motivated. Very unhappy with my experience.

Yelp
I came in right when the kitchen was closing and my bartender Krista made sure i was able to order food. The salmon was phenomenal. She was extremely polite and professional. I look forward to dining at fox & flight again.

Yelp
I posted on Trip Advisor as well but 10/10 recommend the Short Rib. Dark Haired bartender Kristina was very welcoming and made some great food and wine recommendations.
