The core menu is small, but the chef has multiple daily specials, worth seasonal sides. Husband loved the duck confit with grits, and the mashed potatoes and green beans were delicious. Surprisingly the steak was bland. We didn't make a reservation but we're still able to call and get on the list the same day.

Historic house turned into an elegant “farm-to-fork” restaurant. Friendly and attentive staff. Royce was awesome! Gorgeous views of the grounds from nearly every table. Food was delicious. Nice wine selection. Lovely garden for family photo opportunities. Highly recommend.

Fox Hill is a gem in that it is quite unique. Going off of first impressions, it appears as if you are entering someone’s manicured garden & home as you make your way to the entrance. Once inside, your suspicions are validated as it is obvious you are in what was at one time a house. Further, for me eating in what was at one time, maybe someone’s bedroom, was quite a unique experience to say the least. However, more importantly, Fox Hill delivers on its food well. The calamari, garden salad, 12oz & 8oz steaks were all delicious. Though, I would say the highlight was the campfire dessert. Which is filled with real smoke! Pretty cool. Overall Fox Hill is a unique, semi-fine dining, swanky experience, & I would recommend it.

Google
Amazing food. Attentive staff. Beautiful location. Their dishes all sound amazing, so it was hard to choose, but everything we got, we had no complaints and cleaned plates of everything on it. Will be a long-term customer now that we finally had a chance to try them.

This is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to hands-down. The scenery was spectacular, the atmosphere inside was amazing, the staff was very professional and knowledgeable, and the food was to die for (locally grown). If you’re considering going here, just do it. You won’t regret it. Our waiter Jeffrey was excellent! A+

Google
Hello, I just wanted to leave a review for your wait staff and service. Our waiter, Benjamin or Jeffrey, my apologies for not being certain on his name. He was an exceptional waiter. He was extremely well majored and friendly. The nice young girl, Stephanie, she was being trained by him and she had such a lovely smile, and she listened intently as Benjamin was training her. I think she will be an excellent addition to your lovely restaurant. The food as always, exceptional. 5-star all the way. We'll see you soon. Victoria

Google
Absolutely stunning farm-to-table experience. Every dish is made from scratch with fresh, local ingredients, and the attention to detail is exceptional. Beautiful setting, incredible flavors, and thoughtful service. Jeffery was an amazing server—attentive, personable, and made our experience even better. A true gem.

Went to celebrate 🍾 a mates birthday and it was a Absolutely beautiful restaurant with the most amazing staff, freshly grown fruits and vegetables and the most scrumptious meals. They had a variety of of starters, mains and deserts to choose from. The drinks list was great and we ended up getting a bit if everything. The staff were friendly, kind and attentive. The grounds were beautiful, a couple was taking wedding photos outside which looked absolutely amazing. We took a few pics outside but couldn't do as many as we didn't want to interrupt the beautiful couple. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to a ambient sounding and experience, Classy and beautiful and another reason to get dressed up. I give this restaurant 10/10 and definitely a 5*****. This place is perfect for any occasion but even better for a special occasion and to take amazing pics.

Yelp
Went to Fox Hill for my friends birthday. Had never been there before and really wanted to try it. The food was amazing. Had the Scottish Salmon with veggies which was the off menu entree for the night and OMG it was delicious!! A friend ordered the calamari as an appetizer and it wasn't the greatest but the Pakoras appetizer was absolutely delightful!! Our waiter Zach was wonderful! The inside of the restaurant is beautiful!! I would definitely recommend Fox Hill as they go above and beyond for special occasions!!

Yelp
We had reservations for 5:30 PM. We were promptly seated near the windows. A very nice view of the gardens. Our server came by the table and described the specials of the day. We ordered appetizers and wine for the 4 of us. Everything on the menu looked great. We all ordered the beef with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. For dessert we all had something different. It was my wife's birthday and I had requested a cake. Unfortunately they didn't have cake on the menu. But the did pack up an order of Vanilla ice cream and a Pecan Cookie . I highly recommend Fox Hill Restaurant for any special occasion.

Yelp
We have a reservation and were promptly seated. The waiter provided information as to the menu for the evening. My daughter in law and I were planning to order the pistachio crusted lamb chops but was not on the menu. We ordered bacon wrapped dates 5/5; calamari tempura 5/5; eggplant baba ganoush 3/5; fettuccini Alfredo for grandson 5/5: Duroc pork loin - pork 3/5 apple salad 5/5; Pakoras 5/5; Pastabilities - pasta with shrimps and blue crabs 5/5; New York strip steak 5/5, grilled cheese 5/5. For desserts, Campfire 5/5; classic root beer float 5/5; crème brûlée 5/5, chocolate satin 5/5. My son ordered four different alcoholic drinks and he stated, cucumber margarita was the very best of all. My 7-year old grandson exclaimed that tonight he had been in a five-star restaurant. He was delightedly impressed. All of us loved the food and the staff were very attentive. The children explored the garden after dinner and all three children enjoyed posing for pictures.

Yelp
Fox Hill is *extraordinary* - absolutely the best and most upscale restaurant in WF. We come very often and everything is perfection. If the garden veggie app is available in the summer, GET IT. If the house made sausage is available, GET IT. And the creme brulee is as good as it can get. Anything with a butter sauce will also be excellent. The servers here are the best you will find anywhere. So friendly, and they even remember you when you come back. The ambience is beautiful and quiet. My favorite drink is the spicy margarita, it's not too sweet. Also the mule. They have a very good selection of wine. Just everything is about this place makes me so happy. Definitely get reservations. If they are not available online, if you call they may have cancellations that don't show up online.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience with a quick thrown together dinner for high ranking military members of ENJJPT. The staff and especially the bartender were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The food was prepared to order making a great impression on all.

Yelp
For years now, I've been buying my family and friends gift cards to Fox Hill but had yet to visit myself. Finally, last weekend, we got a group together and had a lovely evening in a private dining room upstairs. We started with the mozzarella-tomato-castelvetrano olive salad and two orders of the bacon-wrapped dates, cocktails, beer, and a bottle of Argentinian Malbec. Everything was delicious. For mains, the five of us had everything from salmon (amazing!!) to steak to chicken. We couldn't pass up dessert, so we ordered two of their peanut-butter icebox pies and coffee. Our server was fantastic and gave us the right balance of attention and privacy. I also like that reservations are easily made online as are gift-card purchases. I can't wait to return, and maybe next time I won't drink a gallon of water with dinner from still being overheated from the HH100 cycling endurance event.

Yelp
We came here for our anniversary and had an amazing waiter. We had him in the past at Salt and Pepper. He always has great energy. The area was clean. My steak needed a bit of seasoning and my husband loved his shrimp Pasta. The moose was decadent, and the grounds have lots of pretty plants and a little pond.

Yelp
I recently dined at Foxhill Restaurant and was truly impressed by the experience. The ambiance is charming and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a special night out. I opted for the surf and turf, featuring a delectable crab cake and a perfectly cooked steak. The highlight of the meal was the freshness of the ingredients, which truly embodied the garden-to-table concept. For dessert, I indulged in the crème brûlée, which was expertly executed with a crisp caramelized top and creamy custard beneath. Complementing the meal was a well-crafted martini that rounded out the evening beautifully. A standout feature of Foxhill is their wine selection, particularly the DeLoach wine, which is amazing and hard to find in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. Additionally, the outside garden is stunning and provides the restaurant with its delicious, fresh vegetables. Overall, Foxhill Restaurant exceeded my expectations with its delightful dishes, commitment to quality, and beautiful setting. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Wichita Falls. Keith and Nikki (bartenders) are fantastic with amazing service ... rivals our restaurants back home. Foxhill is my go to when visiting Wichita Falls ... I keep coming back just to see what Chef Anamd comes up with next.

Yelp
This place was recommended as a farm to table restaurant by a friend. Tried it the first time a year ago and was not impressed. Decided to try it again as every place has a bad night. Apparently bad service and mediocre overpriced food is a constant here. The ambiance is spectacular but that is where it ends. One can find much better restaurant choices in WF at a fraction of the cost with superior food and service. I gave it a 2 instead of a 1 because of the cocktails only, creative.

Yelp
The food is always outstanding! The ambiance elegant and chic. The service is top notch! The food and drinks are pricey but it is high quality and very very good!!

Yelp
Such a great atmosphere. Friendly service. Unique environment. Unique menu options. Always get the favorites pakora and bacon wrapped dates but also love trying new things, the calamari was amazing too. Haven't ever had anything less than perfection here. Always feel special and enjoy the experience here. Definitely recommend the jalapeño margarita!!!

Melanie D.

Yelp
The best meal we've had in Wichita Falls! The food was fresh and delicious. The drinks were great too! The service was impeccable. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Delicious fare. Outstanding service from Royce and the perfect atmosphere for two people to dine and enjoy themselves. Ambiance was quiet. Music was at a lower volume so you can actually hear the conversation from the person across the table from you. It's my birthday so I'm not posting any pictures

Yelp
Simply Amazing!!! Our server, Jeffrey was excellent. He was polite, professional, and answered all our questions, making our experience unique. The food was superb and the atmosphere sophisticated.

Yelp
Lovely little place. A go to for date night. The chef usually comes around to chat with the customers and the staff is always great to us. It's a little pricey and the neighborhood is a little shady but I definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Yelp
Stumbled on this place on the last night of a 3 week road trip. Everything was excellent. Calamari appetizer was some of the best I've had. The duck was perfectly cooked and waiter paired it well with a Pinot noir!

Yelp
Wow! Went here for a date and was very impressed! The food was amazing, service was excellent and on point. This is a gem in Wichita Falls!

Yelp
We had a party of 20 and had a beautiful set up, great service, amazing food, music, and ambiance. Everyone loved the food, especially the fried vegetables. All the drinks were delicious too. A place to dress up in Wichita Falls and appreciate the views!

Yelp
Amazing and beautiful restaurant that is indeed on a hill. The veggie appetizer was delicious and my husband keeps talking about it. I had the salmon and it was fantastic! The best part was the campfire dessert. I'm dreaming about the marshmallow ice cream.

Yelp
Delicious food, perfect service and the view is beautiful! We each different dishes and all were delicious. The filet was a perfect medium rare! Drinks were nicely crafted!

Yelp
I will have to admit that when I was told about an elite Farm-to-Table restaurant in Wichita Falls, I was highly skeptical. However, I can say that after several visits, this restaurant can hold it's own just about anywhere! First of all, the building. It's historic to Wichita Falls, and it's beautiful. Get here early, spend a little time in the gardens and enjoy the water features. Take time to enjoy the building, and do not miss the original woodwork and windows. Once inside we were promptly greeted, and called by name. The house-turned-restaurant is well organized and designed, and the pressed table cloths give a level of sophistication. They have a full bar, with several wine and craft beer selections as well. The bartender is knowledgeable. We opened with Moscow mules, a few scotches, and an old fashioned! We started with the crab stuffed avocados, and the bacon wrapped dates. I highly recommend both. However, the Pork belly with carmelized onion is what blew me away! The star of our entrees was the smoked quail under glass, which was an incredible presentation. I had the coffee encrusted tenderloin with crème brulee butter, while my wife had the Chef's special: the chargrilled black Angus ribeye with creamed kale. We compared and both were spectacular! My mother said she was very pleased with the herb crusted lamb, while my father had the spiced honey glazed duck with polenta and haricots verts. As family style sides, we also ordered the Shrimp and Gorgonzola cheese on buttered asparagus. To. Die. For! Even the brussels sprouts were amazing!! The staff is pretty friendly, but are overwhelmed easily and not accustomed to change. A little training on the wait staff on attentiveness, and politeness will take this place to the Next Level! They clearly aren't 5 star waitstaff yet. 5 STARS for absolutely killing it in WF!

A G.

Yelp
Most likely the nicest restaurant we have in Wichita Falls. I love the organic nature of the food. Great date night place!

Yelp
FOX HILL RESTAURANT ... I finally got a chance to try Fox Hill tonight, in Wichita Falls. My first impression, WOW what a beautiful place, and this was in the dark of night. I cannot wait to see this Farm-to-Table location in daylight after the farm fully grows in this spring, and everything greens up. Owner, John Hirschi, has done very well in creating this new restaurant in Wichita Falls. The location off Kemp Blvd, near Seymour Hwy, is beautiful. I have always loved this historic house, and very pleased to see it repurposed as this unique restaurant. At first glance, Chef Thomas Nixon from Oregon, has created a delicious menu. Well balanced dishes, full of wonderful blends of farm-to-table freshness. I started off with an appetizer and soup du jour. The Brie & Beef Bruschetta on baguette toast was delicious, along with the tasty Classic Beef Stew. The meats and vegetables for the meals are locally raised. Next was the Smoked Texas Quail. This is the first time I've had fine dining Quail, and it was perfect! It comes to the table under a smoke filled glass dome, then revealed by the server with a little swirl of the dome releasing the smokey aroma. Stuffed with pork sausage and served over a bed of herbed farro, blended with roasted parsnip, butternut squash, forrest mushrooms, and a demi glaze. A real treat on the tastebuds. Now for the Pistachio Crusted Lamb! The menu description had me drooling for this one. I've only seen and read about Harissa Potatoes, and now finally getting to experience them. The lamb is served over a mountain of vegetables, including the harissa potatoes, curried cauliflower, grilled zucchini, sauce vierge, and grilled seasonal garden vegetables. The lamb was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The harissa potatoes met every expectation I had for them, very delicious. The overall plate was another complete treat for these happy tastebuds. Closed it off with a Cookie & Ice Cream dessert. Very tasty end to a perfect meal! Fox Hill is a wonderful treat, and a real dining delight for Wichita Falls. I foresee this establishment doing very well in the long run. Be sure to make reservations though, it seems to be a very popular spot now. If you're lucky, you'll get my dear friend, Lisa Marie McCreary, as your server. She made the meal an extra delight. I also got to see John Hirschi, and his beautiful wife, on my way out, and got to personally tell him about my experience. Followed this up with a fun night of "Queen For A Day" at the Iron Horse Pub. I will be going back quite often, and highly recommend you give it a try as well.

Yelp
Cozy very welcomed place, lucky to found it on our way :) happy travelers need happy tummy Very selective menu, love small and specialties menu.. also, Fantastic service! Waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu, she was awesome!

Bobalea G.

Yelp
I really wanted to give this place a 5 star review. The facility is truly beautiful! When we arrived there last evening, I was impressed and anticipated an excellent dining experience. The waitstaff was attentive and well informed about the menu offerings. We opted for the Tempura Calamari and Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Dates as appetizers. Both were delicious. I love a good cut of beef, so based on the waitress' recommendation, decided on the New York Strip with Broccoli, Roasted Potatoes & Mushrooms, medium rare. Unfortunately, this is where they dropped the ball. While the steak was well seasoned and perfectly cooked to medium rare, the quality of the meat was sadly lacking. It was tough and gristly, on par with the cheapest strip steak offered at Walmart. The vegetables were overcooked. One would think that the chef would personally verify the quality of meat delivered by suppliers prior to serving it to patrons. After the disappointing entree, we opted not to risk it and skipped dessert. I do hope that this was just a bad night for Fox Hill.

Carmen H.

Yelp
The service was phenomenal, the server was very attentive. The food tasted amazing it hit all my expectations. The ambiance was relaxing and chill. We went for a birthday dinner and wanted something fancy and fox hill was a great choice.

Yelp
Great food, Great presentation, Great atmosphere... Need I say more? My first (visit) meal was the half chicken. Has to be the best in town. Rivals that of Brassery Boulder. Returned a week later and enjoyed the Halibut on a bed of rice. I was impressed and you will be too! Check it out for yourself.

Yelp
The food was fresh, hot & delicious. I would recommend this restaurant for date nights, celebrations and small groups. You won't be disappointed.

Rachel S.

Yelp
This is my husband and my go to place for date night! The food is always wonderful and servers are very attentive. The dates are my favorite appetizer ever and their desserts are always amazing! They have the best marshmallow ice cream I've ever had. The gardens outside are beautiful and well tended to.

Yelp
When my wife first suggested that we try out Fox Hill, the term "Farm to Table" was new to me but I was willing to give it a try. As we walked up to the renovated older two story restaurant, which was once a home, we were awestruck by the relaxing scenery and water garden. As we walked inside we were immediately greeted and seated. We were so impressed with the atmosphere and how the tables were spread throughout the restaurant. There is a lot of room between you and the other dining guests unlike other places that pack everyone like sardines. The food is unlike anything I've ever experienced in WF. I would classify it as hearty gourmet dining. We consider Fox Hill our place to go for special occasions like birthdays, anniversaries, and when out of town friends and family come to visit.

Curtis H.

Yelp
The drinks, appetizers and entrees are all amazing! I will say it all is quite expensive, but you pay for quality. The service is always outstanding and the ambiance is very intimate. Great date night restaurant or a special occasion.
google avatar

Ryan R.

Yelp
A real gem in this town.. wasn't expecting this place for brunch on a Sunday. The inside is basically a fairly decent sized house with an upstairs, the backyard area is where they home grow several of the herbs they use in their menu and just out from the side of the house is where they have a cool looking stone patio that would be perfect for summertime drinks. Bloody Mary's were awesome, just the right amount of spice. Eggs Benedict was basically unmatched, couldn't be any better. If you're in town, you really gotta come check this place out, pretty unique place in this city.
google avatar

Dirk B.

Yelp
Wonderfully friendly staff and delicious food. The vegetables are picked from their own garden and cooked perfectly.
google avatar

Yelp
Exceptional Resturant in Wichita Falls. Not a loud cow barn serving the same chained out food, but a resturant that has a great decor and very tasty, beautifully presented, well thought out food. The Dates are very very good and if we had known how good they would be, we would have ordered a full order and not a half. Strawberry Salad had some great small touches, such as the candied lemon peel and blood orange vinaigrette. Another highly recommended dish. The Soup of the night was a mushroom, broth, rice affair, not the best of all the dishes, but still a nice addition to our meal.
google avatar

Lara H.

Yelp
Alright, I am now the person who reviews a place 3 times. I recently came back with my family after the new year and we had a wonderful meal. The service was fantastic, I love the ambiance, they have a good wine menu, and the food was delicious - great flavor in every dish. I even had the caesar salad again and thought it was much improved. Thank you, Fox Hill, for offering a great dining experience with fresh, locally grown and well-sourced ingredients. 5/5 stars is well deserved and I won't change my mind again.
google avatar

Haley B.

Yelp
I've never had food more delicious in my entire life not even out of town restaurants that I've tried have been this tasty I can't even begin to describe how excellent their food is. It makes you want to savor every bite. Their food has very interesting flavors & beautiful presentation. Don't even get me started on their campfire dessert. I never really order dessert when we go out, but their food was so flavorful it made me curious as to what their dessert tasted like & it's far from basic. Amazing!! This place is just WOW... They are pricey but it's definitely worth the treat! Very relaxing environment as well. 10/10 recommend!!

Jeannette B.

Yelp
Delicious food nice service no matter your choices small or large meal to go or meal in

Keelin C.

Yelp
As promised, I headed back to try this restaurant. The restaurant itself it a neat old house on top of a hill. It has sweet gardens that you can stroll in before or after dinner. The service was excellent. My only caution is: DO NOT use the online reservations system, just call them. They had us booked the same day in 30 seconds or less. Dinner itself was good. We both tried a starter and they were tasty and fresh. We both had meat entrees for dinner (beef) and they were cooked very well. Overall, this is a great place for a special night out. It might be a little pricey for every weekend :)

Hantastic D.

Yelp
Every single course was better than the last. Minus dessert. Dessert was delicious...but, after such an amazing meal, it didn't reach the bar that was set. I would 100% go back for a special night!

Yelp
What an amazing find and if you live in the area and have not been here, you are missing out! The atmosphere, ambience, food and service are on point! We had the small plates so to sample the artistic side of the chef and what a great choice! We live and Dallas and plan to make a visit in the Fall just to be able to sit on the patio and experience this wonder and unique amazing place! Dan

Yelp
This place is PHENOMENAL. We stopped here on our way out to Taos unplanned--we were planning to stop for dinner in Amarillo but a late start put us behind so we looked for a place in WF. We were so happy we did!! The structure itself is gorgeous, and my husband (being a carpenter) pointed out the gorgeous original woodwork and windows (you can tell the original glass because of the ripples). Our daughter is two, and after being in the car for a few hours we were a little on edge about bringing her in once we saw the pressed table cloths and sophisticated ambiance. Again, we were not disappointed. The staff is friendly and on point--the owner stopped by to check on us and even though our daughter proceeded to throw various toys over her shoulder (much to our embarrassment) any staff member nearby assisted our retrieve of said toy with a smile. The FOOD. The DRINK. OMGGGG! We started with the stuffed avocado which was incredible! I had the spicy margarita (because it's my favorite drink EVER) and was very impressed--I've tasted spicy margaritas all over this world, and this held up to be one of the best! My husband had a craft beer and both arrived quickly. Our entrees were the salmon and the house salad with shrimp. Both were OUTSTANDING! The chef was so generous to give us what seemed to be whatever salmon they had left on hand (we arrived close to closing) and it was a massive amount of mouth watering deliciousness!! The couscous and accompanying Brussels sprouts were killler! The shrimp was cooked perfectly, and the candied walnuts on the salad were amazing. I ordered a flaming mule that was perfectly balanced and Max spicy--absolutely incredible. I wish they had a similar place in DFW, we would be there every day!!

Yelp
Best dinner restaurant I have ever been to, bar none! (But I am small town raised, so probably not saying much!) One of the places in town you can dress up as much as you want and not feel goofy. Now be warned, you may be seated upstairs, so make sure you can walk in the shoes you are wearing! I ALMOST went with some comfort foods I knew I would like, but went out of my comfort zone amd tried all new things. Was NOT disappointed in the least! Will be back for sure! Atmosphere, service, and food was perfect! Funny how when food is perfectly cooked correctly, it doesn't take any longer than the microwaved, batch cooked slop at the big chain restaurants! No more!

Mike A.

Yelp
Everything was exceptional. Atmosphere, wait staff, food was all over the top. I've been to many high end restaurants around the world and this ranks with the best. Expect to pay many hundreds of dollars for a party of 4, but be surprised when you don't. Not the typical W Falls eatery and my wife and I will return every time we visit W Falls. I need 6 stars.
google avatar

Dee K.

Yelp
What a wonderful find this restaurant is! I travel to Wichita Falls several times a year and have tried just about every "upscale" restaurant there is and this is the only one that achieves the level of "upscale" in WF in every way! First, the building and grounds (they have gardens and a waterfall) are beyond. The interior and exterior are tastefully decorated and clean. The service is first rate! My server was attentive and friendly. And the food! I had the Smoked Quail and not only was the presentation on point - it was delicious. The owner took time to greet me and the other diners - a rare thing these days. I will be back every time I visit Wichita Falls!
google avatar

Michele P.

Yelp
I've been here twice now. The meals are well prepared, flavorfull and worth the effort. The atmosphere is great. Pretty gardens oustide. Only a couple of reasons for not getting 5 stars: desserts here are terrible. Don't waste your time. And the wait staff need a bit more training in true fine dining service. They are rough around the edges. But I feel with time, both of these issues are fixable.
google avatar

Lindsey K.

Yelp
We had a private event here. Food was fabulous and service was spot on. Unlike any restaurant in Wichita Falls. Decorated very pretty for Christmas! Great draft beer menu. I can't wait until this opens to the public so we can go back!!

Yelp
Nice little farm house restaurant. Drink and food was very good. Recommend the crab cakes.

Jennifer M.

Yelp
I've been here before and enjoyed the food and service. However....we ordered right away which was great but waited 20 min for our Caesar salad which was soggy and the dressing was extremely acidic almost too much to stomach. Our food finally made its way to our table after a total wait if 45 min and my steak was blue rare (I ordered med rare) and my husband's was medium rare (ordered med well). I got mine back after they recooked it and the steak was cut through the middle and covered up by the bernaise sauce. Not to mention the potato and veg were cold. Everything sent back!!! Very mad! Also not impressed by the waiters appearance--he needs to trim his long beard and put on a clean shirt. This is the most upscale cuisine in town and between the service and food I am a very unhappy customer
